(Y/n) POV

     I have had depression for as long as I can remember and it got worse after coming to Beacon Academy. After a life of living on the streets, I thought things would be different when I came to Beacon, but it's not I get bullied and beaten left and right by almost everyone. The only people who have been nice to me are the members of Team RWBY and JNPR, recently though things have been a little hectic because of something called Christmas. People are running around decorating the school and their dorms with lights, garlands and wreath's and a big decorated tree occupies the courtyard. I am slightly limping back to the school after getting my butt kicked by Team CRDL, again. Don't get me wrong I can beat them up myself but they and almost everyone see me as useless wimp, and while I try to be as helpful as I can, most people still say that me coming here was a mistake. My head hangs low, until a cheerful voice is heard.

Ruby: Hi (Y/n)!

(Y/n): *tries to hide his face* Oh, hello, Ruby.

Ruby: I've been looking everywhere for you!

(Y/n): For me? Really?

Ruby: Yeah. Team RWBY is having a Christmas party and I wanted to invite you to come.

(Y/n): I-I don't know. I don't want to be a bother.

Ruby: *laughs* Nonsense. You'll be no bother. Come on, the party is about to start!

     Ruby takes my hand and happily leads me to her team dorm, thankfully she didn't ask about my face. We arrive at the dorm and the doorway has a garland around it and a wreath on the door itself. Ruby opens the door and leads me in and I am happily greeted by teams RWBY and JNPR. Blake then seemed to notice my hiding of my face and walked up to me.

(Y/n): Blake?

     Blake just gently removed my hood and moved my hair out of my face and her eyes widen at what team CRDL did to me.

(A/N): Imagine Zuko's burn scar.

Blake: Oh my goodness! What happened?!

      Everyone else finally noticed and were shocked at the scar, Weiss was quick to get the first aid kit.

(Y/n): Guys, I'll be okay.

Ruby: Okay?! You're hurt! And in need of help!

Yang: Who did this to you?

(Y/n): *after a long moment of silence* *sigh* Cardin.

Jaune: What?! Why?!

(Y/n): Called it his Christmas gift. Whatever that means.

Pyrrha: Okay, Cardin has officially gone too far. Nora, ready to break some legs?

Nora: Let's do it!

(Y/n): Just let it go.

Blake: (Y/n), you can't endure this kind of abuse.

(Y/n): I have to.

Blake: Why? What possible reason could you have for allowing yourself to be hurt like this?

(Y/n): To.... protect all of you.

Blake: What does that mean?

(Y/n): Cardin planned to try to ruin your celebration and hurt all of you. I found out and told him he could do what he wanted to me but he had to leave all of you in peace.

Yang: Oh, (Y/n).

Weiss: That's actually really sweet, stupid, but sweet.

Ruby: I'm sorry you got hurt like this. But I think some hot cocoa would do everyone some good. Don't you think?

Ren: A great idea. I'll get started.

(Y/n): So, what all the excitment over Christmas about?

Yang: What do you mean? Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year!

Weiss: Indeed, a time we can all come together and give happiness and joy to everyone around you, to think only of others and give up one's very self.

Blake: Have you never celebrated Christmas?

(Y/n): *looks down in shame* No, I don't even know what Christmas means. The thing is, this is my first Christmas.

      When everypne hears this, they all grow looks of disbelief.

Pyrrha: Whoa, hold up, (Y/n). You mean to tell us you've never had a Christmas?

(Y/n): No.

Jaune: Not even one?

(Y/n): No.

Nora: You mean, you've never had no chestnuts, no santa, no presents, *gasps* NO NUTCAKES!

(Y/n): Easy Nora. *sigh* No, none of that.

     After a moment of silence, Blake takes my hand and gives me a warm smile, then nods at Ruby. Ruby nods back and says.

Ruby: Well then, we'll just have to show you, won't we girls?

Yang: Yeah!

Weiss: Absolutely!

Blake: Right!

      Weiss patched up my face and Ruby led me to the cafeteria kitchen and pulled several trays of cookies out of the ovens and asked me to get the rest of the treats out of the fridge. I pull out several boxes of various treats and goodies and I ask.

(Y/n): What are we doing with all of these?

Ruby: We're making Christmas baskets for everyone in Vale.

(Y/n): Whoa, really?!

Ruby: Yeah. I always find joy in giving people something nice for the holidays. So, we'll decorate these cookies then make the baskets and deliver them.

     For the next 3 hours, Ruby and I made baskets for the people of Vale. We then put them all in a wagon and dressed up in festive constumes-

   
-and set off to deliver the baskets to everyone in Vale. Whew, that was a lot of work but worth it for every smile we got from those we gave the baskets to.

(Y/n): I gotta admit that was pretty fun.

Ruby: Right?! It's so satisfying to see the smiles on everyone's faces. I don't do this because I have to, it's because I want to. *kisses my cheek* Thank you for helping.

(Y/n): *blushes* O-Of course.

      Yang then walked into the kitchen and asked how things went and I was honestly a little excited. Yang then asked if I could help her with something and I agreed, so she looked into a couple of pots on the stove.

Yang: Alright, looks like we're good to go!

(Y/n): What are we doing?

Yang: We are serving a Christmas dinner to the homeless today. Now give me a moment to change then we'll go.

     I watch the pots to make sure they don't burn or anything, Yang then comes back in a christmas outfit of her own-

     We then grab the pots and set off for downtown, we come to a homeless shelter and walk in. We go all the way to the kitchen where other people were setting up food for the event.

Shelter Manager: Ms. Xiao Long! Thank you for coming.

Yang: Of course, I also brought along some extra help.

(Y/n): *blushes* Hi, I'm (Y/n).

Shelter Manager: We can never have too much help. Why don't you set your food here to keep hot and we'll ring the dinner bell.

Yang: Awesome.

      Yang rings the dinner bell and a line starts forming. We spend the next couple of hours serving up food for the various homeless people.

Yang: Thanks for coming with today, (Y/n).

(Y/n): No problem.

     Yang then leaned up and kissed my cheek, I again blush in embarrassment, Blake then walked into the kitchen with an outfit of her own.

Blake: Hey guys.

Yang: Hi Blake. Come to help out?

Blake: No, I actually have somewhere else to be, but I wanted to ask for (Y/n)'s help.

(Y/n): Uh...

Yang: Go for it. It's fine. I'll meet you guys back at the dorm for presents.

(Y/n): Okay then. Lead the way Blake.

     Blake takes my hand and leads me to the local children's hospital and I ask.

(Y/n): So what are we doing here, Blake?

Blake: Well, I agreed to read a Christmas story for the children here as well as giving them presents.

(Y/n): So that's what the toys are for.

Blake: Yup.

(Y/n): Then what are we waiting for?!

      Blake giggles at my enthusiasm and we walk in. A nurse leads us to a play area for the children patients and they are excited to see the two of us. Some of them were really excited about my festive armor and Blake got ready to read the much Christmas Story.

Blake: Alright, you kids ready?

Kids: Yeah!

Blake: Well then. Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house. Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.....

      Blake continued telling the story and I could see the positive impact it was having on the kids. All them were mesmerized or entranced by Blake's natural story telling voice and to be honest I was too. The children all cheered as Blake finished and she asked me to start handing out presents for each of the kids.

Blake: What do you think of Christmas so far?

(Y/n): I-I'm really enjoying it. Seeing the smiles on everyone's faces even though the problems of the world are still lingering, everyone still manages to find joy.

Blake: And that's what Christmas is all about. Joy to the world and goodwill to all. Thank you for being here and for being our friend.

      Blake leaned up and gave me a short kiss on the lips and I turned redder than my armor as she giggled at my reaction. It was getting dark when Weiss then walked into the hospital and asked for my help on something she was working on for Christmas. I agreed and she gave me a red and white santa hat, at first I was confused until I noticed she was wearing a santa dress.

      Weiss then handed me a folder and I saw it had what looks like chistmas themed songs.

(Y/n): What are we doing?

Weiss: We're going to the city park and singing Christmas songs.

(Y/n): But, I don't even know how to sing.

Weiss: That's okay. You don't have to be perfect, just trying is good enough for me. Come on, we're gonna be late.

     Weiss takes my hand and leads me to the city park and we go to a gazebo next to the park's christmas tree. Weiss then tells me.

Weiss: I'm really glad you're here. To be honest, this is my first time having a proper christmas.

(Y/n): Of course. I'll always help if you just ask for it, *smirks* Ice Queen.

Weiss: Hey!

     We get over it and laugh for a minute, Weiss then shows me the first song she wants us to try. I try to follow as best as I can and I wasn't as bad as I thought.

     The crowd cheered as we finished and Weiss had a big smile on her face, she took my hand and we both bowed in thanks. We then continued singing for another hour and we never lost our smiles.

   
On the final song we're going to sing, Weiss had a noticable blush but I couldn't quite figure out why.

      We finished and people are cheering and having fun and honestly I was too. Weiss then looked up and her blush deepened even more, I look up and see an ornament made of the holly plant.

(Y/n): What's this supposed to mean?

Weiss: Well, it's a tradition that if a couple are caught under the mistletoe, they have to kiss eachother.

      I look at Weiss and piece together why she was nervous, and I say to her.

(Y/n): If it's too embarrassing for you then we don't have to do this, right?

Weiss: *tightens grip on my hand* The thing is, I want to. I'm just glad it's you.

     Weiss then removes my helmet and places her hands on my cheeks and leans up, I lean down a bit and our lips lock. Let me tell you, that was the most sensational thing I've experienced in my life. Weiss deepened the kiss a little and then we seperated and she just stares at me with her ice blue eyes.

Weiss: Merry Christmas, (Y/n).

(Y/n): Merry Christmas, Weiss.

Weiss: Now come on. The party is going to start soon.

(Y/n): Okay.

     We walk back to the academy and walk into the dorm room and everyone is making final preparations. Juane and Pyrrha are putting some final ornaments on the tree, Ren is checking the last of the dinner and everyone else is putting presents under the tree. I then freaked out a little bit.

(Y/n): Oh crud! I don't have any presents for you guys!

Ruby: *giggles* Told you that would be his reaction.

Blake: Okay you got me.

Yang: The presents are not really necessary.

Weiss: Just having you here is present enough for us.

     With that Ren announces that dinner is ready, everyone sits down and starts eating and talking about what they did for Christmas. Afterwards, the presents were handed out and team everyone even handed me some presents. I couldn't believe it, they barely know me and they went out of their way to be nice and make this the best first Christmas ever.

Yang: Thanks for being here with us, (Y/n).

Ruby: Yeah, I think this was an amazing Christmas because you were here to help celebrate.

Weiss: Agreed.

Blake: Merry Christmas, (Y/n).

(Y/n): *tearing up* Thank you. All of you. And Merry Christmas to all of you too. *sniffles*

      The celebration continued long into the night, and the entire group turns to the camera and we all yell...
