The next mission began with the tracker tracking down Jaune's current location, showing him to be located in the place the audience was familiar with from the previous mission. The emblen of 141 with his name written down underneath it became the focus on the screen a second later. It didn't remain in the focus of the audience for long, though as the emblem switched into an emblem of the Atlesian Rangers.

"Okay, now you can consider me interested." Cardin's interest grew in an instant when he saw his name pop out on the screen as he smiled to himself in a pleased manner. His teammates smiled as well as they were interested in seeing their leader be the next main character. His schoolmates, however, were less than pleased with this reveal.

Coco pinched the bridge of her nose, "Seriously? He's the next main character?"

Nora nodded in agreement, "Yeah! Out of everyone here, why does he get to be the next main character?"

Cardin smiled smugly at them, "Hey. I have no complains here."

"Of course you don't." Coco rolled her eyes.

"Sand Bravo, we're reading 70 bogeys in your sector, please verify." A male voice which belonged to the NORAD HQ rang through the audience's ears as the map moved all the way from Menagerie to Atlas.

Ruby raised her brow at the name, "NORAD?"

"North Atlesian Aerospace Defense Command." B explained as Ruby nodded in understanding.

"Very funny, Station. That's a big negative, over." A male voice called Nome AFB replied as small screen showcasing the tracker device showed up on the side of the screen. Multiple red dots showed up on the map a second later.

Goodwitch's eyes widened slightly, "Now that's concerning."

"I have a bad feeling about this." Tai nodded in agreement.

"There's so many of them as well." Oobleck voiced his concerns regarding what they were seeing as well.

"Yeah, it might be a glitch on one of the ACS modules..." NORAD Control stated, brushing everything off.

Velvet shrugged off the concerns from earlier, "Sounds like they're having technical problems."

"Are those really are technical problems, though?" Fox pointed out to her, "Ruby and the rest of 141 had trouble contacting their command in the last mission, after all. For all we know, it can be the Menagerians making their first move."

Ruby shook her head, "I really hope this won't be the case..."

Weiss placed her hand on her chin thoughtfully, "Would it even be possible for Atlas to have an error like this?"

"It's not impossible." Winter told her, "But such errors are extremely rare."

"Sand Bravo, be advised, running diagnostics to scan for malfunction." NORAD HQ informed as the camera moved away from the place, moving to another part of Atlas and showed this part of the country was being approached by multiple red dots as well.

Qrow raised his brow in alarm, "Those dots are there as well."

Winter shook her head, letting out a sigh, "Now I'm certain it's can't be an error."

"I would understand if it happened in one place." Ironwood nodded in agreement, "It happening in two places at the same time is impossible for our military."

The younger part of the audience slowly started to become more worried at their words...

"The skies are clear, Station. You got yourself some phantom dots. Over." Nome AFB replied as the camera kept itself focused on the red dots.

"Zulu X-Ray 6." NORAD HQ called out for someone new to the audience, "Signs in your sector of some 100 bogeys, please advise." NORAD HQ

"Negatory, Station. Scope is clear." Mantle AFB gave them an answer a second alter, "Scope is clear. I dunno what to tell ya. Solar interference? Heavy sunspot activity today."

"Sierra Delta, uh... we may have a minor ACS fault here." NORAD Do you have anything on your scope?

"THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!" Air Traffic Controller shouted in a horror filled tone with he sound of fighting and shots could be heard in the background as well, confirming to the audience something was indeed going on right now as the camera towards another part of Atlas. The map became filled with the red dots as soon as the camera stopped on it...

Many people in the audience grew uneasy by the scream, hearing just how terrified the man was.

Neptune shook his head with an uneasy look on his face, "Uh, oh."

"There's way more to them here..." Sun commented, referring to the red dots.

Blake sighed, "They're all in the middle of the country as well.."

"This can't be good." Yang stated.

Weiss deadpanned at her, "You think?"

NORAD HQ instantly became alarmed by it, "Sierra Delta, repeat!"

"I'm lookin' at fighter jets over I-95! How the hell did they get through?!" Air Traffic Controller explained with the civil defense siren blaring in the background.

Adam and Sienna smiled as the Menagerians attacking Atlas was pretty much confirmed to them right now.

Winter sighed, "Looks like I was right when we discussed the last mission."

"It's probably one of the few times where you wish you weren't right." Qrow stated, taking a sip from his flask.

Winter once again sighed, "For once you're right about something."

"How did they get through the kingdom defenses so easily in the first place?" Ironwood asked with his eyes narrowed.

Ozpin sighed, "No one is ever prepared for a sudden of your country, James. Even if it's Atlas."

"What? Disappointed your kingdom wasn't prepared for everything?" Roman asked as Ironwood narrowed his eyes at thim.

"Standby! Attempting to contact the nearest unit in that sector." NORAD HQ replied, wasting no time and contacting the military unit in the area. He didn't have to wait long as Ren answered just a second later.

An imagine of Ren showed up on the screen as he spoke up, "I read you. This is First Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Sergeant Ren, acting commander of Hunter Two-One. Do you copy, over?"

"Looks like me and Renny are back in action." Nora smiled a bit.

"Cardin will be working with you as well."

Nora frowned a bit, "Oh, right."

"Look at the bright side of this." Coco told her, "You'll get a chance to see Ren ordering him around as Ren is higher in rank than him."

Nora's expression lit up at this in an instant.

"Dammit." Cardin grumbled under his breath, having realized this as well.

"All stations, be advised - satellite surveillance has been disabled. SOSUS and PAVE PAWS arrays are inoperative at this time." NORAD HQ declared, his voice becoming less clear and more quiet with each word uttered by him as the camera tracked down Cardin. It slowly zoomed in on his location and the screen turned black for a second.

The screen went back on a second later and the audience could see everything from Cardin's pesperctive after that. He showed revealed to be in a moving Humvee and he wasn't alone. He looked around the humvee, revealing Nora was in the driver's seat as she drove the Humvee along the street.

Jaune raised her brow, "Nora driving?"

"I don't know if they're foolish or crazy for having her drive." Weiss stated.

"What's wrong with my driving?!" Nora asked

"Let's just say I wouldn't trust you behind the wheel." Weiss explained.

Blake nodded in agreement, "I'm sure one ride with you shorten anyone's lifespan by half."

Nora crossed her arms, grumbling something under her breath.

"The Menagerians have everything east of I-95! My sector's gonna fall within the hour!" A male voice sounded in the radio of the Humvee as Cardin looked over his shoulder, showing Ren and a man named Morgan sitting behind him and Nora. From the look Morgan had on his face right now, Cardin could tell the man was slightly nervous.

Qrow sighed, "Poor guy."

"Yeah. You can see how nervous he is." Tai nodded in agreement, feeling sympathy for Morgan.

Winter shook her head, "I really hope he'll compose himself later. Being nervous in such a situation is the worst thing you can do as a soldier."

"Can you really blame him for being so nervous, though?" Tai asked,"It's not everyday your country gets invaded like that."

Qrow nodded in agreement, "Yeah, Ice Queen. Not everyone is fearless about going into war straight away."

"We've lost contact with Dormir! Where's the air support?!" A nervous male voice asked as Cardin shifted his gaze away from Ren and Morgan and looked ahead of himself, seeing another humvee driving in front of him and the rest what was going on in front of him right now. Up above in the sky, Menagerian MiGs were flying low and fast and transporting planes were dropping paratroopers and armored vehicles.

Velvet gulped at the amount of the enemy troops, "There's so many of them..."

"How big are their forces?" Weiss asked with widened eyes.

"Probably large enough to conquer your little kingdom." Adam smirked at the younger Schnee.

Winter glared at him, "Don't you start."

Adam raised his brow, "What? Is it hard for be to celebrate this moment, Schnee? If the roles were reversed, then you would be cheering as well."

"Counter battery fire is unable to engage! Enemy paratroopers have infiltrated their position! We are CUT OFF! I REPEAT: WE ARE CUT OFF!" A loud panicked voice shouted in the radio a second later, taking a brief pause in his words as the front Humvee's gunner fired his minigun at one paratrooper attempting to land on the roof of a house. "Broken Arrow, Broken Arrow! Drop that thousand pounder on the red smoke! NOW!"

"Talk about a bad timing to land." Qrow commented in a slightly amused manner, referring to what happened to the roof.

"Not the time to be amused, Qrow." Goodwitch told him, "Haven't you just heard what the radio said?"

Summer sighed sadly, "Everyone is quickly getting overhelmed by them."

"What else were you expecting to happen from a suprise attack?" Sienna asked her.

"Just wait until they'll compose themselves." Ruby told her in support and fait she had for the Atlesian soldiers, "Your soldiers will kicked back where they came from."

Sienna scoffed, "We'll see about that. Keep in mind how many it took to take me down."

"Interrogative: Can your Harriers take out the interchange at I-495 and US-50, over?!" The fourth male voice asked, trying to contact someone who would give them a chance at making this situation better as the small convoy of two Humvees drove down the street until they approached some roadlblocks.

Just as Cardin, Ren, Nora and Morgan reached the roadblocks, a BTR-80 appeared from behind a tall hedge. Needless to say. It caught the convoy by suprise. The lead Humvee's gunner fired in that direction as the BTR appears, but the minigun's bullets do little to damage the BTR before it fired back with its heavy auto-cannon, destroying the front Humvee easily.

Summer shook her head, "Those poor soldiers."

"Talk about coming across a roadblock in the worst possible moment." Qrow nodded in agreement, taking a sip from his flask in honor of the soldiers from the first Humvee.

Port rubbed his chin, "Looks like the tanks we saw in the first game will be making a comeback."

"They look a bit different from the ones we saw in the first part, though." Tai stated.

"It's been a few years since then." Oobleck pointed out, "I wouldn't be suprised if something new was developed or if there were more types of them."

"We got a BTR! Get out, get out!" Ren quickly ordered his team as the BTR shifted it's attention to them. Cardin barely managed to leave the Humvee, before it was blown to pieces by the fire from the BTR, knocking him to the grass in the process.

Coco cringed a bit, "Yikes. That was close."

"At least they made it out of the vehicle before it was destroyed." Yatsuhashi stated.

"They're still out in the open, though." Velvet stated in worry for Ren and Nora.

Panting heavily in shock, Cardin quickly got himself back on his feet while Nora and Morgan stumbled their way forward as they headed towards the house next to them in order to take cover behind it. He pulled his gun which happened to be a SCAR-H with a Red Dot Sight and Shotgun attachment as made his way to take cover behind the house a quickly as he could with Ren being right next to him.

Luckilly for him, he found himself behind the house a few seconds later but it didn't mean the BTR was done with him or his team, though. The BTR wasted no time and blasted the house, he, Ren, Nora, and Morgan took cover behind to pieces. None of the shots hit anyone from the team of four, though and all of them were allowed to proceed forward.

Ruby smiled a bit in relief, "They're safe."

"For now at least." Blake stated, "I won't be suprised if the tank will be looking for them now."

Weiss nodded in agreement, "With how it blasted an entire house to get them, I find this highly possible."

"How are they going to destroy it, though?" Jaune asked, "They don't have any explosives on them."

"We'll have to wait and see." Ren replied.

"Overlord, this is Hunter 2-1 requesting air support, over!" Ren called out for Ozpin, trying to contact him as he and his team moved along the path behind the houses with him at the front of it.

Ozpin answered to him a second later, "Hunter 2-1, all air support is already engaged. Additional ground support is en route to your position but has encountered heavy resistance, over."

Qrow deadpanned, "Seriously?"

"Things are getting worse with each passing moment." Kali commented sadly.

Adam shrugged, "I have no complains here."

"Me too." Tyrian nodded in agreement, "I hope this war will be a long one."

"Roger that Overlord." Ren replied in understanding of it, "Be advised, we've encountered enemy armor and are proceeding on foot, over."

"Overlord copies all. Good luck. Out." Ozpin bid Ren farewell.

"Sarge, did HQ just tell us to go 'F' ourselves?" Nora asked.

A few members of the audience chuckled at Nora's comment.

Vernal nodded in confirmation, "Pretty much kid."

"Just what you would expect from Ozpin." Raven stated.

Roman shrugged, "I would say it's not just him. It's more like every command in a situation like this."

Ironwood glared at Roman for this comment.

"Pretty much, Corporal!" Ren confirmed it to her, having just reached the end of the path and walked into the streets.

Ren's confirmation got more chuckles from the audience.

Roman crossed his arms with an amused, "At least he isn't denying that."

"I got a fix on Raptor! 300 meters to the east!" Ren added a second later as he and his team made their way to the other side of the street where they took shelter in the backyard of the nearby house.

"Roger that." Nora voiced her understanding of it.

Velvet sighed at the view of the BTR, "There it is."

"At least it didn't spot them." Pyrrha stated.

"I'm still thinking how are they going to take care of this tank." Jaune said.

"They can always wait for it to leave the neighbourhood." Blake suggested.

Winter shook her head, "That would take too much time. Time in important in a situation like this."

"Who is this Raptor dude, though?" Sun asked.

Neptune shook his head, "No idea."

"He must be someone important if Ren and his team are apparently making their way to him." Weiss stated.

"If that's the case, then it only reassures me in what I said earlier about them having no time tow waste." Winter stated.

"Hold your fire! Don't engage the BTR - they haven't acquired us! Hang right and stay behind it!" Ren ordered as Cardin shifted his gaze to the street and saw the BTR approached from down the opposite street, blowing up houses and cars as it went with it's heavy auto-cannon.

Neo crossed her arms, "Damn. They really are going all the way."

"Why would they destroy all the cars in their way, though?" Ruby asked in confusion.

"Use your brain, Little Red." Roman told her, "They must be checking if those guys are hiding behind any of them."

Hazel nodded in agreement, "Better safe than sorry when it comes your enemies."

"It's not like they care about the damages they are causing, anyway." Emerald stated.

Cardin, Ren, Nora and Morgan watched the BTR drive past the ride and exchanged glances with each other, knowing it was the right time for them to move forward. All four of them left their cover a second later and followed the BTR, moving forward themselves along the street as the BTR remained unaware of their presence.

"I got a visual on smoke coming from the crash site. That's where Raptor went down!" Ren declared upon reaching the top of the street with his team and Cardin looked ahead of himself and noticed a dark smoke going off in the distance.

Ironwood nodded to himself, "So it's an extraction mission."

"Not the kind of mission I would expect to see here at the start of a war." Watts stated.

"You and me both. Let's now hope it won't end like the last time they were escorting someone from a crash site." Roman commented.

Many people in the audience, especially those on the younger side, shivered at they recalled the nuke scene and the effects of it.

The BTR stumbled upon a roadblock a second later, making it stop and Cardin, Ren, Nora and Morgan instantly reacted to it and hid behind the destroyed cars. All of them kept themselves at ready to act, keeping their guns aimed at the BTR as the BTR's doors opened and four soldiers exited the vehicle. The four soldiers looked in Ren's team direction a second later, taking notice of them rather quickly.

Coco shook her head, "Great. It just had to come across a roadblock..."

"How are they going to avoid the tank now?" Sage asked, "They will have to move past it unless they will turn back which will just waste their time."

"They will have to go around it somehow." Pyrrha replied, pointing towards one part of the screen, "There's an entrance to the alleyway over here."

"How?" Jaune asked her, "The tank will gun them down before they will even get close to it."

"We're spotted!" Ren screamed upon seeing the enemy soldiers looking his way, "Winchester- use your smoke grenades! Nora, Morgan - cover him!

Jaune raised his brow, "Smoke grenades?"

"Alright. We haven't considered that." Ren stated.

Goodwitch nodded in approval, "Not a bad idea."

Cardin nodded in understanding, stepping out of his cover and pulling out a smoke grenade. Just as he pulled the pin from and prepared himself to throw it, the Menagerians opened fire at him but didn't got a chance to do anything to him as Nora and Morgan were there to support Cardin and quickly took care of the Menagerians. Cardin threw his grenade a second later and it exploded upon hitting the ground, covering the area around it with smoke.

"Use the cover of the smoke to run past the BTR into the alley!" Ren shouted as he rushed out of his cover and began to run towards the smoke. His team obeyed his order and followed him, avoiding the BTR and running into the alleyway which was spotted by Pyrrha earlier.

Winter nodded in approval, "An impressive use of the smoke grenades."

"Not a bad way of getting yourself behind your enemies." Ironwood nodded in agreement, approving of the strategy used by Ren's team.

Yang chuckled a bit, "The guys from the tank will be so confused once the smoke will die down and they won't see them anywhere."

After making their way into the alley, they were greeted by the sight of a paratrooper attempting to untangle himself free from his parachute. The paratrooper quickly saw a team of four Rangers walking in his direction and began to panic. He doubled up on his attempts of untangling himself, but it was to no avail as Cardin quickly killed him.

Sun chuckled a bit, "Poor guy."

"Yeah. Talk about finding yourself in the worst place in the worst possible time." Neptune nodded in agreement, looking slightly amused by it as well.

The death of the paratrooper alerted the other Menagerians in the alley as all of them came rushing towards Cardin, Ren, Nora and Morgan. The said team of four wasted no time and fought back against them all the while still moving further into the alleyway. All of them reached the end of the alleway, having taken care of all the troops in it in the process. However, their fight was still far from over as all of them rushed into the parking lot next to the gas station the alleyway was leading into.

"Incoming! Truck 12 o'clock!" Ren informed his team a second later when a truck drove into the gas station and parked right in front of them. His team instantly reacted to it and opened fire at it as the Menagerians started to leave the vehicle. It was when Cardin got an idea and threw a grenade at the truck. The grenade exploded a second later and the truck exploded, killing everyone around it in the process as Cardin reloaded his SCAR-H.

Nora grinned in approval, "Not a bad idea of getting rid of multiple enemies at the same time."

"Did you just praised Cardin?" Yang asked her.

Nora blinked, "Alright. I take back what I just said."

"Hey!" Cardin screamed.

Weiss raised her brow in confusion, "A single grenade was able to destroy an entire truck like that?"

"The addition of the gunfire from the rest of the team must have done it's job with it as well." Blake stated.

The team of four shifted their attention from the now destroyed truck a second later and moved further into the parking lot. All of them turned right a second later, moving past the gas station convenience store. Just as they were about to leave it behind them, they were ambushed by a group of the enemy soldiers who remained hidden inside it for all this time until now.

Cardin instantly stopped dead in his tracks and opened fire at the enemy soldiers inside the store, intending to take all of them out as quickly as possible as Nora threw a flash-bang grenade towards the store. It flew through the window, landing inside it and exploded a second later. She moved closer to the store a second later with Cardin and Morgan following her. Upon getting themselves as close to the store as they could, all of them wasted no time and used the blinded state of the enemy soldiers to their advantage, killing all of them.

Ironwood nodded in approval, "Impressive teamwork."

"The guys from the store ambushed them and got their ass kicked in the end." Qrow agreed.

"You can tell all four of them are experienced in working togethe as a team." Ozpin stated.

"Just what you would expect from the Atlesian military." Winter said with a hint of pride in her voice.

Cardin, Nora and Ren exchanged glances with each other. Needless to say. All three of them being complimented for their teamwork while working together was not something they expected to see. Especially with Cardin having the kind of history he has with Jaune.

"On me! Go! Go! Go!" Ren ordered his team a second later, seeing the soldiers from the store won't be a problem to them anymore and pushed himself into walk towards the restaurant in front of him and his team. Cardin, Nora and Morgan wasted no time and quickly followed him, crossing the street as a BTR fired at the restaurant they were heading towards, damaging the roof in the process.

Coco sighed, "Really? This tank again?"

"How is it here so fast?" Yang asked in confusion.

"Don't write it off as the tank we saw earlier." Ren told her, "We all saw the aircrafts transporting armored vehicles. For all we know, there can be much more tanks like this running around."

Yang crossed her arms, "This is just great."

Watts deadpanned at her, "It's war. Did you expected them to attack an entire country with just one tank?"

The team of four moved further down the street, doing their best to avoid all the shots directed towards them from every possible direction and managed to reach their destination a moment later. They didn't enter the restaurant right away, though due to them needing to check something outside and instead moved past the downed burning helicopter.

Pyrrha nodded to herself. "Looks like we located the cause of the smoke we saw earlier."

"From the looks of it, I'm suprised anyone survived the crash in the first place." Blake stated.

Velvet nodded in agreement, "Whoever was inside either got really lucky."

"That or they left it before it exploded." Yatsuhashi pointed out.

"Yeah. That as well." Velvet once again nodded in agreement.

Cardin took a glance at the downed helicopter, shaking his head to himself. He instantly shifted his attention to the front of him, having just heard someone fire their gun in front of him and saw a single Ranger firing at the enemy troops from his cover behind a destroyed police car.

Ren wasted no time and quickly approached him from behind, grabbing his shoulder to gain his attention, "Private! Gimme a sitrep! Where's Raptor?"

A Ranger known as Pvt. Wells looked over his shoulder at him, reloading his SCAR-H as he gave him his answer, "We moved him to the meat locker, it's practically bulletproof!"

Velvet raised her brow in confusion, "A bulletproof meatlocker?"

"A bulletproof meatlocker was not something I expected this place to have." Yang stated.

Sun rubbed the back of his head, "Was the food owned by the resturant so exclusive that they had to built a bulletproof meat locker in it?"

"You'd be suprised how many places like this are durable to bullets." Melanie told him.

Junior nodded in agreement, "I have a similiar place in my bar to defend all the more expensive drinks."

"What's his status?" Ren wanted to know.

"He's still unconscious." Wells provided him another answer a second later.

"Not suprised." Raven stated.

"From what we saw in the crash site?" Vernal asked, "Yeah. It's not suprising at all."

Qrow sighed, "Too bad it's just makes everything harder for them,"

Tai nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Taking care of a civilian in the middle of something like this is hard. Taking care of an unconcious one is extremely hard."

"It's still better than having him dead." Summer stated.

"...You got a medic?" Wells asked Ren a second later.

"Corporal Valkyrie, check it out!" Ren ordered Nora, making a gesture with his hand as Nora nodded and headed into the restaurant to check on Raptor with Morgan following her inside, "What else?"

Wells quickly gave him his answer, "We got a supply drop on the roof with a M-5 sentry gun!"

Ruby raised her brow in interest, "A sentry gun?"

"Now I'm interested in seeing it." Coco became interested in it as well, being a minigun user and all.

Ren nodded in understanding and shifted his attention to Cardin, "Winchester- get to the roof and check out the supply drop!"

Cardin instantly replied to his new order as he turned away from Ren and Wells and made his way into the restaurant. He walked further into the building, making his way past the two Rangers who were named Sandler and McCord and made his way into the kitchen where he was greeted by a ladder to the roof. Not wasting any time, he climbed up the ladder.

"Heads up ladies, we got trucks to the south." Ren informed everyone around the same time as Cardin found himself on top of the roof where he saw a M-5 sentry gun pointed in the direction of the south.

Ruby's eyes lit up when she set her eyes on the sentry, "It looks so cool!"

Coco had a different reaction from her, though, "Meh. I expected something more."

Ruby shifted her gaze to ther in confusion, "What do you mean?"

"I just thought it will be something more. That's all." Coco explained.

"One of the least used killstreaks in my experience." B thought to himself, recalling how he was barely seeing anyone use the sentry gun as a killstreak whenever he played the multiplayer.

"They're using smoke to cover their advance!" Nora declared as Cardin walked over to the edge of the roof and looked ahead of himself. He saw one enemy truck parked way ahead of him. He didn't keep his eyes on it for long, though as the smoke from the smoke grenade covered the area in front of him.

Neptune raised his brow, "They're using smokes now?"

"This is bad." Yatsuhashi shook his head.

Sun noodded in agreement, "Yeah. It will allow them to get close to the restaurant."

"Unless the sentry gun will be able to detect them in the smoke." Weiss stated.

Sun crossed his arms, "Let's hope that will be the case."

Nora slammed her hand against the arm of her seat, "No! Those scoundrels are using our own tactic against us!"

Ren raised his brow, "I don't think only we can use this tactic Nora..."

Nora crossed her arms, "I still would have preferred if only we we kept using it!"

"Squad, this is Hunter 2-1 Actual. Switch to thermal optics if you got 'em." Ren said as Cardin switched from his SCAR-H to his pistol and shifted his gaze to a M14 EBR with Thermal Scope next to him. He quickly switched his pistol for it and looked through the scope. It was when the audience saw multiple shining figures moving through the smoke. Not wasting any time, he began taking out the incoming enemy troops with the machine gun assisting him.

Ruby's eyes lit up upon seeing the thermal scope do it's job, "No way! This is so cool!"

"I would love to use it one day!' Summer nodded in agreement, showing the same excitement as her daughter.

Tai looked impressed by the scope as well, "Imagine how easier it would be to fight off Grimm or something else if we had something like that."

"I know." Ironwood agreed with him, writing the idea down in his notebook.

"Incoming, north side!" Nora shouted a few moments later as Cardin reloaded his M14 EBR, having just finished to clear out the area in front of him out of all the enemies. A few of them remained in the famous Burger Town fast food restaurant, but didn't think much of them as they weren't advancing towards the restaurant.

Cardin looked over his shoulder, seeing Nora, Morgan and every other Ranger from the roof moving to the other side of the roof and decided to follow their example. He grabbed the sentry gun, placing it over his shoulder and moved to the other side of the roof.

"He can lift it up just like that?" Neptune looked slightly impressed by it.

Sun nodded in approval, "He has strength. I'll give him that."

Cardin crossed his arms smugly, "Of course. What else were you expecting from me?"

"Not being able to lift it up even an inch?" Coco replied like it was the most obvious answer in the world.

Yang nodded in agreement, "I'm pretty sure that would be case if that was you as in you and not the other you."

"Screw you..." Cardin grumbled under his breath.

Cardin reached the other side of the roof a second later and set the sentry gun on back on the ground, allowing it to do it's job as he glanced ahead of himself and noticed the area in front of him was covered in smoke. Just like the area he had cleared out a second earlier. He put his M14 EBR to good use again a second later, using it to take out as many enemies as he could from his position.

However, not everyone went according to his plan as they were simply too many enemies for him and his fellow Rangers to handle. Something sounded behind him a second later and he instantly turned towards the source of the voice. He saw an enemy soldier standing close to the edge of the roof on his left, having used a ladder to reach the roof of the restaurant.

Cardin panicked a bit, knowing he won't get a shot on this man in time as the man aimed his AK at him and was about to fire it at him. He was stopped in the last seconds, though as Morgan made himself known to the audience again by taking care of the problem. Cardin nodded at him, expressing his gratitude as Nora and the rest of the Rangers took care of the upcoming troops with the rest of the sentry.

Sky sighed in relief, "That was close."

"Yeah." Cardin looked relieved as well, "That guy almost got me."

"Good thing this Morgan dude was there." Russel stated, "Otherwise you would be a goner."

Cardin nodded in agreement, "Yeah. You can call him fine in my book."

Winter nodded in approval of Morgan's actions, "Glad to know he managed to shake off his nervousness when it mattered."

"Looks like Ivan's had enough." Ren stated upon making sure all the enemy soldiers from the charge were deceased, "Corporal Valkyrie, gimme a sitrep on Raptor, over."

Nora gave him her answer a second later, "Raptor is secure and stable."

"Roger that. Everyone check your weapons and ammo. They'll be back." Ren voiced his understanding of it, making sure to warn the others in the process as Cardin used this moment of silence to walk over to a crate with the ammo and refilled the ammo in his SCAR-H and M14 EBR, "Two-One-Delta, be advised, two BTRs coming in from the north."

Yang looked unpleased by this, "Two of those tanks at the same time? Just great..."

"They barely managed to handle themselves with one of them around. How are they supposed to handle two at the same time?" Jaune asked.

"Perharps they'll have some explosives they can use to destroy them laying around?" Fox theorized.

Ren sighed, "Let's hope that will be the case."

"Roger that." Nora said in understanding as a missile suddenly hit the parking lot in front of the restaurant. Cardin instantly snapped his head towards it.

Many people in the audience were taken by suprise by the sudden missile hit.

Yang's eyes widened a bit, "The hell was that?"

Coco shook her head, "Don't tell me started firing rockets at the place."

"Seems like it." Yatsuhashi sighed.

Mercury crossed his arms, "Man, they really want to get this Raptor guy."

"You think?" Emerald asked.

"What the hell was that?!" Nora shouted in alarm.

Jaune sighed, "You know the situation is bad if Nora is not cheerul about explosions..."

Nora had to agree with him here, "Yeah..."

"Get off the roof! Get off the roof, now!" Ren shouted, alarmed just as much as Nora was as everyone from the roof instantly moved towards the ladder. Not wasting any time, all of them jumped down into the kitchen as a missile hit the roof. With Cardin being the last one to make his way into the kitchen, he was the one affected by it the most and needed to compose himself.

Cardin sighed in relief, "That was close."

"You're telling me, man." Russel nodded in agreement.

"Two near death situations in a matter of a minute?" Sky crossed his arms, "Your other self is either really lucky or really unlucky."

"Why not both?" Cardin replied.

"I have a visual on an enemy UAV operator remote-piloting those missiles!" Nora declared as Cardin collected himself from what just happened with the missile hitting the roof, "He's inside that diner to the west, over!"

Nora's eyes lit up in interest, "A remote controlling the missiles?"

"I'm sensing new cool weapon coming!" Ruby's weapon tingle began to show itself in her.

"Winchester! Get over there, and kill that SOB!" Ren ordered, "I'm sending part of the squad to help you out! Go!"

Cardin crossed his arms, "At least he isn't sending me there alone."

"I'm calling dibs on the missle controlling!" Nora declared.

"I don't think it works like that, Nora." Ren shook his head, looking slightly amused by her excitement.

"I still want to use it!" Nora argued.

Cardin switched to his SCAR-H, instantly obeying the order as he moved towards the exit from the restaurant. He wasn't alone, though as Nora, Morgan, Sandler and McCord all followed him out of the place. All five of them quickly moved forward, making their way across towards a diner in front of them. The enemy soldiers inside the place quickly took notice of them making their way towards them and opened fire.

Cardin, Nora, Morgan, Sandler and McCord wasted no timea and returned fire at them, doing their best to land a shot at them without getting killed in the process as they reached the street standing between them and their destination. Cardin glanced to the side, hearing something driving towards him and saw the two BTR's driving towards him and the others.

Jaune's eyes widened a bit in worry, "It sees them!"

"Calm down, Jaune. They're almost there." Pyrrha tried to reassure him.

Yang nodded in agreement, "Yeah. They'll be inside the diner before it reaches them."

"Unless the faunus inside will keep them outside long enough for the tank to reach them." Weiss pointed out.

Knowing he can't wait waste time and needs to reach the diner as quickly as possible if he didn't want to get shot down by the BTRs, Cardin threw a flash-bang grenade into the place and it thanfully flew through the opened window and landed inside. The grenade exploded a second later, blinding all the enemies inside and Cardin, Nora, Morgan, Sandler and McCord quickly used this chance. All of them charged into diner and took care of all the hostiles, leaving all of them dead in a matter of seconds.

Qrow grinned a bit, "A flash-bang to the rescue."

"It really becomes handy in the situations like this." Goodwitch stated.

"I can't wait until we'll have those in Remnant." Ruby said, smilling at the thought of using it herself as she kept Ironwood writing an idea for it down in his notebook in mind.

"Winchester- get the control rig for the UAV!" Ren shouted a second later through the radio as Cardin noticed a small computer like device laying on the counter. He picked it up a second later, taking a look outside the diner and seeing the two BTRs from a moment ago driving past it. Knowing what he needs to do now, he opened the computer and the perspective of the camera shifted.

The perspective changed into the view from the drone. The camera moved towards the two BTRs, seeing how they were about to part ways and Cardin knew it was a perfect way of killing two birds with one stone. He fired a second later, gaining control of a missile and the missile hit the ground between the BTRs a second later, leaving both of them destroyed.

Summer smiled, "Nice!"

"He used the same rocket to take out two tanks at the same time. Impressive." Ozpin said with an impressed look on his face as Cardin felt slightly flattered by his headmaster praising him like this.

"Yup." Qrow nodded in agreement, "Talk about taking out two birds with one stone."

"What is this missile?" Ironwood asked with a intrigued look on his face.

"A Predator missile." B explained, smilling underneath his mask. It was one of his personal killstreaks in the multiplayer. There was no better feeling than killing three enemy players at the same time with a single rocket.

Ren shifted his gaze to Nora and saw her look at the screen with a conflicted look on her face. He raised his brow at her, "What's wrong? I thought you'll like this."

"It was cool, but I wanted to be the one to use it!' Nora crossed her arms with a conflicted look on her face, "It's not fair!"

"Maybe you'll get a chance some other time..." Ren tried to reassure her.

"I still wanted to use it now!" Nora replied.

"Nice work team. Regroup over here." Ren praised his men for taking care of the BTRs. Cardin closed the computer, having no further use for it now as he and the rest of the group moved towards the exit from the diner. They didn't made it there, though as all of them suddenly stopped in their tracks due to someone kicking the back door to the diner open.

"Incoming! Back door!" Nora warned her team as she instantly shifted her attention to the back door. The rest of the team followed her example and all of them saw two enemy soldiers entering the diner with their guns aimed at them. Cardin and Nora fired at them, wanting to take them out before they will do anything. The two enemies ended up dead on the ground a second later. Despite their quick reaction, however, not everyone from their team survived.

Just as Nora and Cardin were about to take out the two soldiers a moment ago, one of the enemies managed to open fire first and one of his bullets went flying through Morgan's head, killing him instantly. Watching Morgan's lifeless body hit was the only thing he could do for his fellow Ranger now.

"Poor guy." Qrow sighed sadly, taking a sip from his flask to honor Morgan.

"Shit." Cardin shook his head. Even if Morgan was just an NPC, he felt slightly saddened by his dead as Morgan did save him a few minutes ago.

"It just happened out of nowhere." Ruby said with a saddened look on her face.

Winter sighed, "Unfortunely this is how war is like. Anyone can die at any second."

"We'll probably keep seeing images like that if this conflict won't be settled down quickly." Ironwood stated.

Cardin and Nora exchanged glances with each other, both of them appearing and acting sad by the death of Morgan and McCord and Sandler were saddened by his sudden death as well. They knew they couldn't let this stop them from moving further as they still had to fight off the invaders, though. Sandler and McCord moved out of the diner a second later, leaving Cardin and Nora alone with Morgan's body as Nora reached down towards Morgan's body and picked up his dog tags.

Winter and Ironwood nodded in approval of Nora and Cardin's action of taking the dog tag from Morgan's body.

Ruby raised her brow, "What is Nora doing?"

"For the identification." Ironwood gave her an explanation, "The tags' primary use is for the identification of casualties; they have information about the individual written on them, including identification and essential basic medical information such as blood type and history of inoculations."

Ruby sighed sadly, "Oh.."

Nora looked up at Cardin a second later, exchanging glances with him one more time and nodded. The two followed McCord and Sandler out of the diner a second a later and moved towards the restaurant. Unfortunely, they didn't make it there without encountering any trouble on their way to it, though.

"Enemy fast movers! Take cover!" Ren shouted as two MiGs flew overhead and bombed the restaurant. The sign went flying off before crashing to the ground on the curb across from the wrecked restaurant.

"Ren!" Nora shouted in worry as Jaune and Pyrrha grew worried for Ren as well.

"Is he okay?" Ruby asked in worry.

"He has to be." Blake replied.

Roman crossed his arms, "They really are going all the way on this restaurant."

"You're telling me." Junior agreed, "I feel bad for whoever owns this place."

Melanie nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Let's hope they have a good insurance."

Goodwitch pinched the bridge of her nose, "With what's happening in their country right now, I think this is one of their least concerns..."

"Two-One-Actual you still there?" Nora asked in concern, moving further down the street towards the restaurant.

Ren coughed, "Roger that."

"He's fine." Nora said with relief evident in her voice as Jaune and Pyrrha appeared equally as relieved.

"I knew he would be fine." Yang said. Even if she looked slightly relieved herself.

Coco nodded ina agreement, "He deals with Nora on a daily basis. He can survive a few explosions."

Ren voiced his next order a second later, "Everyone listen up - new plan. Winchester! Take your team and secure Burger Town! We're gonna move Raptor over there! This location has been compromised!"

Fox chuckled all of a sudden, getting many raised brows from the audience.

Yatsuhashi looked at him questioningly, "What's so funny?"

"Nothing. I realized something." Fox replied, "Is it just me or is Ren always calling out to Cardin when he needs someone to do something?"

Everyone stared at him silently, taking a moment to think, before realizing Fox was not exaggerating and was indeed right

Yang chuckled, "Holy shit. You're right."

"Yeah. He really needs to do everything in this mission." Jaune agreed with an amused look on his face.

"I almost feel bad for him." Neptune stated.

Coco crossed her arms smugly, "Just like I said at the start of the mission. He needs to follow his sergeant's orders, after all."

Nora grinned widely as she glanced at Cardin, "Cardin! From now on, you will be known as Renny's minion!"

"Screw you..." Cardin muttered under his breath, doing his best to ignore even his teammates chuckling at this.

"Everyone else listen up! We're moving Raptor ASAP!" Ren voiced his next order as Cardin, Nora, McCord and Sandler shifted their destination from the restaurant to the Burger Town and began to make their way towards it, "Stack up by the south entrance of Nate's! We need to get the hell out of this building before those fast movers make another pass."

Winter nodded in approval, "They're leaving themselves ready to move out. Smart."

"Better to be safe to move out at any moment." Ironwood agreed, "Especially if the risk of your position being attacked at any second is high."

"Where will take shelter if the Burger Town gets attacked with rockets, though?" Tai asked.

Ironwood sighed, "They'll have to figure something out."

Cardin, Nora, McCord and Sandler focused themselves on reaching the Burger Town as the troops Cardin had left alive earlier had made themselves known to them again and opened fire at them when they were about halfway through. The group of three quickly took shelter behind whatever they could find as Cardin switched his gun to his M14.

He looked through the scope, giving him a better look where the enemies were and opened fire at them as Nora, McCord and Sandler used his covering fire to their advantage and moved out of their covers. Cardin ignored them leaving their covers, focusing more on clearing out the front part of the Burger Town as he killed another enemy he had spotted, thanks to the scope of his M14.

"More impressive teamwork from them." Oobleck said in approval.

"Such scope once again proves itself to be an useful asset." Port added.

He looked around the front a second later, nodding to himself in a satisfied manner as he noticed this part of the place was cleared out. Or at least it seemed cleared out to him. He couldn't tell from his position. He quickly switched his M14 back to his SCAR-H and catched up to Nora, McCord and Sandler who waited for him by the entrance of the Burger Town.

The now reunited the team of four walked into the place a second later, moving past the bodies of the soldiers killed by Cardin as they moved to the back of the restaurant where they kitchen part was located. Upon reaching it, they stumbled upon the remaining troops inside the building and quickly took all of them out.

Not everything went smoothly, though as Cardin run out of his ammo in his SCAR-H when there was only one enemy left in the kitchen. Acting quickly, he quickly switched to his shotgun attachment and fired it at the enemy. One shell was enough to kill the man in front of him, making his body collaps on the ground like a ragdoll.

Ruby's eyes lit up at the scene, "Cool!"

Cardin crossed his arms, "Good thing I had this shotgun attached to my rifle."

"Good thing you decided to switch to it as well." Sky told him.

"Switching a weapon is faster than reloading, after all." Weiss recalled the words her counterpart uttered in the very first mission.

"A shotgun attached to a gun?" Summer raised her brow, "To be honest it feels like something you'd see in a gun in our world."

Tai looked at Goodwithc questioningly, "Was there a huntsman or a huntress who used something like this?"

Goodwitch placed her hand on her chin, "Hmm. I can't recall as of right now."

"Squad be advised, we're gonna move Raptor from Nate's to the Burger Town as a group!" Ren informed his team as Cardin switched back to his SCAR-H and reloaded it. He afterwards made his way to the ladder behind him and climbed his way to the top of the roof of the Burger Town. He made his way to the edge of it, intending to provide Ren and the rest covering fire from here as Nora, Sandler and McCord all joined him on the roof a second later.

Sun nodded to himself, "Alright. There's no way Ren will get killed on the way to the Burger Town

"With so many people supporting him, yeah. He'll be fine." Neptune agreed with them.

Sage nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Talk about having a large support team."

"Just don't jinx it..." Scarlet muttered under his breath.

"On three!" Ren shouted as Cardin switched his weapon to his M14 and reloaded it to make sure it will be fully loaded when he will cover Ren and the rest.

Ren counted from one to three, leaving himself ready and moved out of the destroyed restaurant with Raptor on his back. He wasn't alone, though as Wells and two other Rangers remained close to him and provided him support by surrounding him and Raptor in a defensive formation and by killing every enemy soldier in their way. Cardin, Nora, McCord and Sandler provided them support from their position on top of the roof as well, making everything smooth and safe for Ren.

He made his way into the Burger Town with Raptor a second later and voiced it to everyone, "Squad, I've made it to the Burger Town meat locker. Raptor is inside and secure. The door is shut - you guys keep Ivan out. Friendly convoy is oscar mike."

Nora sighed in relief, "Renny made it there."

Sun smiled at her, "See. Just like we said."

"At least you didn't jinx him." Scarlet told him.

Sun raised his brow at him, "Have some faith in us, dude. You don't believe in us?"

"Do you really need to ask?" Scarlet replied.

"Hunter 2-1, this is Overlord Actual, we're seeing a large group of enemy reinforcements to your north, over." Ozpin's voice rang through Cardin's ears a second later

Roman rolled his eyes, "Look who decided to make himself known again."

"Too bad he couldn't earlier when they had to deal with securing Raptor." Neo stated.

Goodwitch narrowed her eyes at them, "You do know he probably has to remain in contact with the other soldiers as well?"

"He warned them about the upcoming group of enemies as well. It's more than enough for me." Ironwood added.

Raven rolled her eyes, "Of course it is."

"Winchester, use the remote controlled Predator Missiles! We got incoming infantry! Keep them away from Burgertown!" Ren ordered Cardin.

Many people in the audience couldn't help themselves and chuckled at Cardin being ordered by Ren again. Cardin himself, however, was far from amused by it.

"Don't be such a grouch! At least you'll get to use the missile again!" Nora told him. She felt conflicted on the inside. She was happy about

Cardin followed Ren's order a second later, opening up the controls of the Predator missile again as he saw a massive group of enemies coming towards him from the direction of the now destroyed restaurant.

Velvet's eyes slightly widened at the amount of the enemies, "There's lots of them."

Yang shrugged, 'Relax. I don't think there be much of them left if they'll use the missile on them."

Cardin wasted no time, intending to take care of as many of them possible and fired the missile at them. The Predator hit the group of the enemies right in the middle of them, taking out a good portion of them. The audience couldn't tell how much it was, though.

"Ten plus KIAs. Good hit. Good hit." Ozpin revealed the number of the casualties to them a second later as Cardin closed the computer, having no further need of it.

"Ten plus KIA?" Winter's eyes slightly widened in an impressed manner.

Qrow nodded in an impressed manner, "Not bad, kid."

Yang turned towards Velvet, "See. Just like I said. Most of them are gone now."

"Hunter 2-1, fifteen-plus tangos approaching near the diner to the west, over." Ozpin said a second later just when Cardin was about to go back to sniping the enemies from the edge of the roof. Needless to say. It put a stop to his plans as he knew he had to use the Predator again. He opened the computer again, seeing a massive group of enemies moving towards the Burger Town from the gas station.

Yang's eyes widened slightly, "There's more of them?"

Sun crossed his arms, "Jeez. They barely took care of the last group and another one is coming."

"Looks like Cardin won't get a chance to play with his sniper." Coco stated, slightly amused by how Cardin moved to Nora and the others to help them only to be stopped in the last second.

Cardin wasted no time and directed a missile right towards the approaching group. He played with the missile a bit, wanting it to hit a certain plan and it worked perfectly as it hit the ground close to the gas tanks. Needless to say. It caused a massive explosion, extending the reach of the normal Predator explosion would be and therefore killing more enemies.

"That looks to be at least five, no, ten kills, Hunter 2-1. Keep it up." Ozpin once again praised Cardin as Nora, McCord and Sandler fired at whatever remained of the gas station group. Cardin closed the computer again, moving towards his team to help them.

"Awesome!" Nora shouted at the massive explosion, not caring about her other self not doing it anymore as she couldn't do anything but be in awe of the massive explosion.

"There's no way anyone could have survived that." Neptune stated.

Weiss nodded in agreement, "If they weren't killed by the missile, then they were surely killed

"An impressive use of the surroundings to make the attack more effective." Port stated.

"Be advised, Hunter 2-1, you have an enemy patrol by that bank to the north, over." Ozpin once again interrupted Cardin from helping Nora, McCord and Sandler by informing him of another group of the enemies.

Sun chuckled, "Again?"

"He isn't going to get a chance to snipe them with his sniper. Isn't he?" Coco stated in a slightly amused manner.

"If Headmaster Ozpin will keep interrupting him, then I doubt that will happen." Blake stated.

Yatsuhashi rubbed the back of his head, "How many groups do they have heading in this direction, though? It's the third one."

"A lot." Fox gave him an answer to this question.

Cardin shook his head to himself, taking out the Predator console again and noticed a second massive group of enemies moving towards him and the rest from the restaurants direction. He fired the missile again and once again hit the enemy group right in the middle of them, taking out a large portion of it. Just as he about to close the console after taking out another group, something went wrong and the screen got distorted.

"Someone just took out our Predator! Be advised, the Predator is offline! I repeat, the Predator is offline!" McCord shouted as Cardin closed the computer, knowing he won't get a chance to use it again.

"No!" Nora shouted, angry and disappointed the Predator was destroyed, "I didn't get a chance to use it!"

Ren glanced at her, "Maybe you'll get a chance to use it in the future missions."

"I better!" Nora replied.

Ruby sighed, "Why did they have take it down?"

Blake nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Taking out the groups will be harder now."

"At least he got to use it on the group for one last time before it was destroyed so there shouldn't be much of them left." Weiss replied.

Cardin shook his head to himself as he made his way to the edge of the roof to look at the destroyed restaurant and looked through the scope of his Mk14. Not wasting any time, he opened fire and began to take out all the remaining enemies from the third group. He wasn't alone here as Nora, McCord and Sandler were more than happy to provide him support.

Coco crossed her arms, "At least he finally got his chance to use his sniper rifle without Headmaster interrupting him."

Nora sighed, "Too bad the Predator had to be destroyed for it to happen."

"Hunter 2-1 this is Overlord. We got a visual on a pair of enemy attack helicopters headed for your area, over." Ozpin informed everyone a second later as Cardin fired the last bullets in his Mk14, having finally run out of bullets in it.

Velvet's eyes widened, "A helicopter?"

Cardin shook his head, "Great. Just what we needed right now."

"Solid copy, Overlord." Ren voiced his understanding of it, "Team! Take down that helicopter! Go!"

"How?" Cardin asked.

Russel nodded in agreement, "Exactly. I didn't see anything they can use to take it down laying around."

"Team! I saw a Stinger missile in that diner to the west!" Ren added a second later.

"Nevermind..." Russel muttered under his breath.

"It was in the diner for all this time?" Jaune raised his brow, "I haven't noticed."

Pyrrha nodded in agreement, "So did I."

"We probably were to focused on the other stuff which went down there to notice it." Yatsuhashi stated as Jaune and Pyrrha nodded in agreement, recalling what happened with Morgan.

Cardin nodded to himself, knowing what to do next as he intended to take out the helicopter. He moved towards the ladder as he used it to climb down to the reach the ground level and was followed by McCord and Sandler. Nora decided to remain on the roof and continue to defend the Burger Town. Moving past Wells who decided to stay behind and help Nora in defending Burger Town, Cardin, McCord and Sandler started to make their way towards the diner.

The group of three reached their destination just a moment later, having not stumbled upon any enemies in the process due to them having killed everyone earlier and saw just how close the helicopter was to them right now. McCord and Sandler took shelter inside the diner, intending to stay inside until the helicopter will be destroyed as Cardin to an opened Stinger missile crate on the table, doing his best not to pay attention to Morgan's body.

He switched his empty Mk14 for the Stinger a second later, not intending to retrieve the rifle due to it having no further use for him and walked out of the diner with the Stinger in ready. He looked up, setting his eyes on the helicopter and the familiar annoying buzz rang through the audience's ears before the Stinger fired. The missile hit the helicopter, shooting it down.

"Nice work! That heli is down." Ren praised Cardin for taking care of the helicopter as Cardin threw the empty Stinger aside, leaving his SCAR-H as his only weapon.

Melanie crossed her arms, "Well, this brings back memories."

"Yeah." Miltia agreed with her, "Reminds me of one of the earlier missions in the first part."

"Now imagine if AC-130 appeared again." Nora nearly smiled at the thought of it happened.

"That would be much needed with what's happening right now." Weiss added, trying to be more serious than her team leader.

"Hunter-Two-One, Overlord. Estimate twenty enemy foot-mobiles approaching you from the southeast, over." Ozpin informed as Cardin shook his head, cursing himself for not having ammo in his Mk14 anymore as he looked out of the window in the said direction and set his eyes on the enemies. He opened fire at them, followed by McCord and Sandler as the team from the Burger Town provided them some support from their location, making the job of taking care of the enemies easier for them due to them having to face enemy fire from two sides.

Neo raised her brow, "More of them?"

Mercury crossed his arms, "They just keep appearing out of nowhere."

"Especially this group." Emerald nodded in agreement, "How did they got there in the first place? They would have to get pass the Burger Town and I doubt the team stationed at it would allow them to get there."

Jaune rubbed the back of his head, "Maybe they are going through the respawn machine or something. Like in the multiplayer games."

Ozpin made himself known again a few seconds later with another unpleasant information from him, "Hunter 2-1, relay from Goliath One: you got an enemy helicopter loaded for bear approaching your area, over."

Pyrrha's eyes widened a bit, "Another one?"

Yang asked, "Great. What else?"

"How will they take care of it, though?" Russel asked, "I doubt they have another one of those laying around."

"Team! I saw a couple of Stingers on the roof of Nate's!" Ren added a second later.

"Nevermind again..." Russel muttered under his breath.

Sun raised his brow, "There was really one on the roof of thet restaurant?"

"We must have failed to notice earlier. Like we did with the one at the diner." Sage stated.

Neptune shook his head, "Man, we really missed so much stuff laying around due to everything that was going on."

Cardin left the diner a second later, knowing he can't waste his time here even with some of the enemies from the group still alive and was followed by McCord and Sandler. All three of them fired at the remaining enemies as they made their way along the path towards the restaurant as the team from the Burget Town continued to provide them support.

All three of them reached their destination a second later, not suffering any losses and injures in the process due to the help from the Burger Town and entered the restaurant again. They quickly made their way to the roof where Cardin's eyes quickly caught the sight of a Stinger missile laying next to the crate with ammunition. He grabbed the missile and looked up seeing the helicopter flying above him and the rest as McCord and Sandler kept themselves in a safe distance from him.

Cardin wasted no time and aimed the Stinger at the helicopter, firing it a second later. The missile hit it's target a second later, shooting down the helicopter as Cardin quickly switched back to his SCAR-H.

Pyrrha nodded to herself, "It's gone."

"Now let's hope a third one won't appear." Weiss voiced her hopes.

After watching the helicopter go down, Cardin heard something behind him. He wasn't the only one. McCord and Sandler heard it as well. He turned around and stepped closer towards the source of the noise. McCord and Sandler followed him, asking themselves what this noise was. All three of them got their answer a second later as they saw a convoy of of Humvees and M2 Bradleys.

Yang raised her brow with a smile slowly forming on her face, "Is that what I think it is?"

"Looks like it." Blake nodded.

Yang fully smiled at this, "Finally. The cavarly has arrived."

"At least they finally got some reinforcements." Yatsuhashi stated.

Roman crossed his arms, "Too bad it couldn't happen earlier."

Winter narrowed her eyes at him, "Are you suggesting anything?"

Roman acted innocent, "Of course not."

"The convoy's here! Everyone on me! We're getting the hell outta here! Let's go, let's go!" Ren shouted as the convoy arrived to the south of Burger Town a few seconds later.

Cardin, Sandler and McCord wasted no time after seeing the convoy stop behind the Burger Town, knowing it was their time to leave this place and all of them were more than eager to do so. All three of them left the room, using the ladder on the side and pushed themselves into run towards the convoy. They weren't the only ones moving towards the convoy. The other Rangers from the area started making their way towads it as well.

The former reached his destination a moment later and walked over to an almost empty open-air Humvee in the middle of the convoy. There was only one Ranger in it an the said Ranger was driving the vehicle. The audience got a glimpse of his name when Cardin looked at him. His name was Pvt. Wade. Cardin got himself into the Humvee, taking his seat in the back seat of it and grabbed a SCAR-H with Red Dot Sight waiting for him there.

"How nice of someone to leave a gun for him there." Neo stated.

"Why would he need it, though?" Mercury rubbed the back of his head, "He literally already has the same weapon."

"Not to mention the cool shotgun he has attached to it." Ruby added.

"I dunno." Cardin shrugged, "Ask the other me."

"Overlord, Hunter 2-1. Be advised: precious cargo is secure, repeat, precious cargo is secure. We're oscar mike." Ren informed Ozpin as Cardin glanced to the side, seeing the Rangers filling in the area with some familiar faces like Nora, Wells, McCord and Sandler among them. Two more familiar faces joined them a second later as Ren walked out of Burger Town into Cardin's view, carrying Raptor on his back.

Ruby smiled, "There he is."

"Good to know he made it out of there." Jaune stated.

"Yeah. Otherwise all this stuff would be for nothing and enough people died for nothing at this point." Pyrrha replied, recalling all the people who died to stop Sienna only for Sienna to become a national hero.

"Were you really worried about him?" Yang asked her, "Point out a movie where the the person getting escorted dies."

"Squad, we still got 2,000 civvies in another city. If you got family there, it's your lucky day - we're gonna go save their lives!" Ren shifted his attention to his men a second later, voicing their next destination to them as Cardin shifted his gaze away from everyone and looked ahead of himself. It was when he and Wade were joined in the Humvee by Sandler and McCord.

The screen turned black a second later, meaning the end of the mission.

Qrow crossed his arms, "Well, that was quite something."

"You're telling me." Tai nodded in agreement.

Winter shook her head, "I already suspected the Menagerians made their first move in the last mission, but seeing actually happen was horrible."

Port sighed, "They declared war on Atlas straight away."

Goodwitch sighed as well, "Taurus got exactly what he wanted when he framed Atlas for the airport attack."

"Unfortunely such conflicts usually are started by incidents like this." Oobleck stated, letting out a sigh of his own as Salem looked impressed by Adam managing to achieve what he wanted, "I just wish right now it won't evolve into a second Great War."

"You and me both, Barty." Port nodded in agreement.

"Speak for yourself!" Tyrian told them, "Personally I think it would be a wonderful turn of events!"

"It's the start of the sequel as well." Summer stated, "If such things are happening at the start, then imagine what can happen later on."

Tai shook his head, "You're making me worried here, Sum."

Ozpin shifted his gaze to B, "Are we starting the next mission?"

"In a moment. I just need to do this." B replied as he snapped his fingers and his clothes changed all of a sudden. How now wore black hoodie, blue jeans and black shoes.

Winter raised her brow, "A clothes change?"

"Why would you do that?" Goodwitch asked in confusion.

B wasted no time and quickly provided them an explanation, "Because time has passed and blaszczu gave my character more thought for the sake of his other reaction story. Originally I wasn't as introverted as I am now and I didn't have a girlfriend and my mask was just a cool cosmetic choice without any story behind it. This story was kicked out of the canon of the watchers as well for the sake of his other reaction story where I am doing something with my now bff Q."

".." The audience stared at him in confusion, having no matter what to think or what to make of his words.

"Now with this question answered, how about we move to the next mission?" The masked man asked, pressing the button to start another mission.

So, um, welcome to a new chapter of this story. I replayed the original MW trilogy almost a month ago and I suddenly got this need of writing this chapter which wouldn't really go away. I don't know how the updates will look like as my writing will remain on my other stories. It will probably be the case of 'It's updated, when I feel like it' so I'm giving you a heads up of the very infrequent and probably slow updates.
