Cliffhanger
A completely new emblem which was showing an eagle standing on top of a framed star spinned around for a few seconds before a familiar name appeared on the screen.
Atlesian Specialist
Coco Adel
"Someone got a promotion." Sage stated.
Neptune shrugged, "The last mission made it quite obvious."
A few seconds had to pass before a map appeared in the audience's view. It started moving from Coco's last location in Vacuo towards her new location which happened to be somewhere on the water. She wasn't the only one there. General Ironwood was there along with her.
It was when the map disappeared from the screen and was replaced with the view of Coco's back, giving the audience a good look at the green lizard like scales which were all over her back.
Coco remained silent about this change as she took off her sunglasses, eyeing her new look curiously.
"Coco's has the features of a faunus now?" Velvet asked. She never excepted to see her team leader with the features of a faunus.
Yatsuhashi placed his hand on his chin, "This means that this secret operation is a undercover mission?"
"It has to be. Otherwise she wouldn't be let into the White Fang." Ilia confirmed their suspicions.
"So how do I look?" Coco's voice sounded on the screen.
"Like one of the bad guys. Perfect for your undercover assignment." Ironwood stated.
Yatsuhashi nodded his head at the screen, knowing now that he was right.
"It appears that Miss. Adel is going help them destroy the White Fang from the inside." Port stated.
Oobleck placed his hand on his chin, "Maybe this sequel will be about the characters making sure that the White Fang won't be in the control of Menagerie anymore."
"I hope so." Ghira nodded his head, knowing that this version of Sienna shouldn't be worshipped for all the atrocities she commited five years earlier, "They have to pay for everything they have done five years ago."
"So Taurus is the prize?" Coco wanted to know.
"Taurus' no prize. He's a whore. A mad-dog killer for the highest bidder..." Ironwood declared.
"Screw you too." Adam crossed his arms and glared at the screen after hearing how Ironwood called him.
Sienna turned to look at Adam, "Taurus?"
"He is going to be their main target?" Cinder asked. She had to admit. She was quite suprised that Taurus out of all people was Atlas' main target right now.
"He must have become the new leader of the White Fang after Sienna's death." Emerald pointed out.
Blake sunk in her seat and sighed at the thought of Adam being in the leader of the White Fang as Adam's anger with Ironwood's earlier statement about it completely vanished and was replaced with a smirk.
"Just remember your new identity. It'll keep you alive." Ironwood continued as another new emblem appeared in the audience's view. The thing that stood out the most about it was a skull. A knife was right under the skull, and it was surrounded by the two angel like wings.
B smiled behind his mask at the view of the familiar emblem on the screen, feeling how nostalgia was going through his veins right now.
"...Welcome to the 141. Best handpicked group of warriors in all of Remnant." Ironwood finished what he was saying to Coco as 141's emblem started spinning around in the manner that the audience was completely familiar with by this point.
"Best group of warriors on Remnant?" Winter asked.
"They must be the Ace Ops of this universe." Ironwood stated to which Winter nodded in agreement.
"It's an honor. Sir, when do I meet the rest of the team?" Coco asked the Atlesian General.
Ruby titled her head, "The rest of the team?"
"I wonder who that is going to be." Jaune wondered.
"Maybe it will be the people that the two Rangers mentioned during Coco's training?" Ren assumed.
"They're on a mission recovering a downed ACS module behind enemy lines." Ironwood explained as the camera moved across the screen and stopped on the more snowy territory of Menagerie.
"Their feet wet?" Coco asked Ironwood another question
"Imagine they're just about freezing right now." Ironwood answered.
The camera started lowering itself on 141's current location and the two names that the audience was familiar with appeared on the screen.
Those names were:
Captain "Little Red" Rose
SGT. Jaune "Roach" Arc
Ruby cheered and raised her hands in the air, "There's me!"
"Ren!" Nora shouted, shaking Ren by his shoulders again, "Jauney is here!"
"...Nora." Ren told his longtime friend who let go off him and sheepishly smiled.
"At least we now know at least three members of this 141." Blake said, "It still doesn't explain who the one with the freaky mask is, though."
"Roach?" Jaune read his nickname and shrugged. He looked forward to see what this version of him was going to do, "It couldn't have been worse, but it could have been better."
"It could have been better? Would you prefer Vomit Boy?" Yang teased the leader of team JNPR who rolled his eyes at her attempt to annoy him.
"It appears that we'll back to switching pesperctives between the characters again." Weiss stated.
The camera lowered itself on the screen, right on Ruby's and Jaune's current location just a few seconds before the audience was greeted by the view through the leader of team JNPR's eyes. He was sitting on the edge of the cliff, staring at the sky, and taking a break from his and Ruby's mission as a Menagerian MiG took off from the top of the cliff.
"Damn." Cardin said in the moment when he saw where Ruby and Jaune currently were.
"They choose a very cozy place for their break." Sun stated with a small whistle.
Scarlet shrugged, "As long as they're not afraid of heights, I don't see a problem with that."
Jaune turned to the right and saw the person which the audience instantly recognized as older Ruby who was smoking a cigarette. She looked like a splitting image of her mother.
"I look so awesome!" Ruby cheered, not noticing that his version of her was smoking a cigarette, yet.
Summer's smile at the view of her daughter as a grown up woman faded away and was replaced with suprise when she noticed something about her daughter, "...Is Ruby smoking?"
"Our family has a serious smoking problem in this." Yang shook her head, recalling seeing herself smoke too.
"Ruby." Tai turned to look at his younger daughter, "Is there something you'd like to share with us?"
"No!" Ruby shook her head. It so quick that many wondered how she didn't broke her neck, "It's the other me, dad!"
Raven turned to look at her twin, "Maybe this version of Qrow had something to do with it."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. What are you trying to say? I don't smoke." Qrow told her, holding his flask in front of himself to show it off to his sister, "I drink."
"Hey, Little Red." Roman took a puff of his cigarette, smirking, "You want to try? I can spare you one."
Ruby just shook her head and placed her hood over her face, in embarassment, only to remove it a few seconds later, not wanting to miss anything on the screen.
"Break's over, Jaune." Ruby declared, as she threw her cigarette into the abyss, sending him a quick look, "Let's go."
She rose up from her crouching position and so did Jaune. He set his gaze down on the massive abyss under him and Ruby, beginning to make his way along the icy wall along with Ruby.
"Yikes." Melanie said at the view of the massive abyss on the screen.
"At least they have a good motivation to be careful." Goodwitch stated. A lot people in the audience agreed with her.
After several seconds of walking, Ruby stopped walking and send Jaune a quick glance, reaching out her ice picks, "Stay here and spot me. Wait for my go."
She placed her ice picks in the ice and took the first step upwards, staring to climb up. She climbed up a few steps upwards, checking if the ice was going to hold her and Jaune. She nodded her head to herself, realizing that the ice was strong enough to hold both of them at the same.
"All right, the ice is good. Follow me." She declared to Jaune, procedding to climb upwards.
In response to her words, Jaune made his way to the spot from which Ruby started climbing up and pulled out his own ice picks. He looked up and placed both of his ice picks in the wal;. He moved them for a few seconds, making sure that they were holding firmly into the ice before starting to climbing up, following Ruby towards their destination on top of the mountain.
"Something is going to happen in a moment." Neo declared.
Miltia looked at her, "What do you mean?"
"Look at where they are." Junior poined at the screen, agreeing with Neo, "This is a perfect scenario for something to happen to one of them during climbing."
Neo nodded in agreement to his words, "My guess is that either of them is going to start slipping down at some point."
Jaune's gaze was set on Ruby who was a few meters ahead of him and was actually very close to reaching the top before the sound of another Menagerian MiG taking off rang through his ears. He quickly got the confirmation when it flew right above him and Ruby, unaware of their presence.
Some of the ice started falling down from the top, flying down right next to him and Ruby. Unfortunely for Ruby, it caused her to slip down a little, but luckilly, she quickly regained control and returned to what she was doing a few seconds earlier, reaching the top only a few seconds later.
"See?" Neo asked, "I was right. It wasn't anything too severe, though."
Jaune joined her on the top shorty after. He looked up at Ruby who came over to him, readying herself to do another step, "Good luck, mate. I'll see you on the far side."
She pushed herself into run and leaped herself towards another wall in the exact moment of reaching the edge, making there without any problem. Jaune quickly followed her example, but unfortunely for him, he unlike Ruby barely made it to the icy wall and was starting to slip down.
"Hold on! Don't let go!" Ruby cried out to him, instantly notcing that her teammate was in trouble.
"Jaune!" Nora, Pyrrha and Ruby cried out in worry for him as a lot of the audience either stared at the screen in worry or winced.
Jaune reached the end of the icy was barely holding into it with only one ice pick. He looked over his shoulder at the abyss under him before turning his gaze upwards again. It was when the ice pick stopped holding into the fall and Jaune was starting to fall down, but was thanfully saved by Ruby who slided down and grabbed his hand.
She nodded her head at him, motioning for him to go upwards before throwing him upwards. Jaune didn't waste any second and started climbing up, this time, reaching his destination without any problems.
Ruby sighed in relief, "That was too close."
"It was." Jaune nodded his head, "Thanks Ruby."
Ruby smiled at him, "No problem."
"I see that Jaune is still his clumsy himself, even in this universe." Weiss observed.
Yang nodded in agreement, "Yup."
Jaune shrugged, letting out a sigh, "Some things never change I guess."
"Don't worry about it, Jaune." Pyrrha placed her hand on his shoulder comfortingly, "You've improved a lot since we started our sessions and I'm sure that you'll become even better."
"Thank you for these words, Pyrrha. I'm so happy that you're my best friend." Jaune smiled at his good friend.
Pyrrha returned his smile, trying not to make it look forced and her eye twitched a bit, which was followed by the sound of something being shattered in the thousand of pieces. Nora looked like she literally died inside when she heard Jaune's words and Ren just shook his head.
Melanie shifted her attention between Neo and Miltia as she sat between them, "Did you heard that too?"
Jaune placed his ice picks aside, no longer having the need to use them and pulled out his weapon. It was a ACR equipped with a Silencer, a Red Dot Sight, and the new Heartbeat Sensor attachment.
Ruby and her mother looked at the screen excitedly, the former exclaiming, "This weapon looks so good!"
He turned back when he heard how Ruby made her way to the top. He gave her a grateful nod, appreciating that she saved his life just a few seconds earlier to which she nodded back, pulling out her weapon which happened to be a M14 EBR.
Tai and Yang smiled, with the latter saying, "Of course out of all people Ruby would be the one start using a sniper rifle."
"Jaune." Ruby called out to Jaune, climbing up over a snow covered rock, "Check your heartbeat sensor."
Jaune nodded his head and quickly activated his heartbeat sensor on his ACR. He instantly spotted a small blue dot on the pulsing screen.
"You should be able to see me on the scope. That blue dot is me. Any unrecognized contacts will show up as white dots." Ruby explained.
Jaune, once again nodded his head at Ruby, understanding what she just said to him. They started moving towards their destination, the Menagerian base. They walked along the path for a moment before Jaune spotted two white dots on top of the top of his heartbeat sensor.
"Roach, these muppets have no idea we're here. Let's take this nice and slow. You take the one on the left. On three." Ruby declared as Jaune glance ahead of them and spotted two faunus on the patrol. He aimed his ACR at the one on the left as Ruby kept her weapon aimed at the one on the right, "One...Two...Three."
Jaune pulled the trigger of his ACR and one bullet was enough to take his target down which collapsed on the ground, lifeless along with his patrol buddy.
"Nicely done." Ruby said, moving past the now dead faunus along with Jaune.
"Shouldn't they hide the bodies to avoid getting spotted?" Dove asked.
"I don't think it's needed." Sky stated with a shake of his head.
"I doubt that this place is visited many times a day." Russel added.
They moved further for several seconds before another white dots appeared on Jaune's screen. He looked ahead of him and spotted another two faunus on the patrol, which was followed by Ruby saying, "Same plan."
She didn't had to repeat herself. Jaune aimed his ACR right at the head of the faunus on the left and fired, getting rid of him as Ruby took out the one on the right. Right after their lifeless corpses collided with the ground, Jaune, looked at Ruby who was gave him a nod, while reloading her sniper-rifle. They started moving forward again right after getting rid of the faunus on their way. They walked together for a few more moments, before they entered the area of the base.
"The storm's brewing up." Ruby stated as she moved away from Jaune who placed a goggles over his eyes towards the small hill on their right, beginning to climb up the small hill, intending to assist him from this position,"Let's split up. I'll use the thermal scope and provide over-watch from this ridge. Use the cover of the storm to enter the base. You'll be a ghost in this blizzard, so the guards won't see you until you're very close. Keep an eye on your heartbeat sensor. Good luck."
Jaune stared at Ruby for one more moment before she disappeared from his sight. He turned away the direction in which Ruby just went into and looked forward. He crouched down and started heading through the falling snow, making just to keep an eye on the screen of his heartbeat sensor.
He was glad he did. A few white dots quickly appeared on his view and it wasn' too long before he spotted his first opponent. He aimed his ACR at him, this time taking a bit more time to focus on his target, not wanting to miss his shot and possibly allert his enemy that someone might have just invaded their base without their knowledge.
When he was sure that his bullet was going to hit the faunus in front of him in the head, he pulled the trigger and his ACR fired, which was followed by the now lifeless body of a faunus collpsing on the snowy ground a second later, dead. Jaune didn't waste any second and walked right past him.
"They're using the weather and the environment to their advantage." Goodwitch observed, looking impressed.
Winter nodded her head, looking just as impressed as Goodwitch was, "Smart."
"They won't have to be worried about getting spotted like they would have to if the weather was normal." Ironwood stated.
Jaune was freed from the snowstorm outside for a moment when he entered a small building which happened to be on his way. There was only one faunus in the building. That faunus was sitting on the chair, his legs on the table in front of him. He didn't even spot Jaune's presence who used this to his advantage and got rid of him easily.
"Alright, I've tapped into their comms." Ruby's voice rang through Jaune's comms as Jaune came out of the house, entering the snowstorm again, "Head southeast and plant your C4 at the fueling station. We may need to go to 'Plan B' if things go south."
Jaune nodded his head, even though knowing that Ruby couldn't see him doing that and shifted his attention towards another building which was just a few meters away from the last one he visited.
He was about to enter the building when Ruby called out to him, "There's a truck coming! Stay out of sight. I can see four tangos inside."
Jaune titled his head to the left and spotted a green truck driving along the road. He knew that rushing towards it would be reckless and that he would be just asking himself to get caught if he did. He turned his attention back towards the entrance to the house and entered it, instantly seeing one faunus standing right in front of him in the doorway.
"The truck just stopped. All four of them left it." Ruby explained the situation outside to Jaune who came over to the faunus in front of him and pulled out his knife, stabbing his opponent in the back with it.
He placed his knife back where it's supposed to be and made his way to the back exit from this building. He took a quick peek outside to see that it wasn't going to led him to the street where the truck with four enemies stopped, which was the place he was trying to avoid right now.
It wasn't long before his eyes caught the sight of a white dot on his screen which informed him that someone was standing ahead of him. Only a few seconds had to pass before he spotted his new target. He aimed his ACR at the faunus in front of him and was about to take the shot, but a familiar voice prevented him from doing so.
"I'll take this one." Ruby told him, in the exact moment when a bullet flied through the faunus' head. His body fell down like a ton of bricks.
Jaune walked past the now lifeless body and noticed that the runway just across the street. He took to the left, and entered it. He didn't even considered taking a path to the right when a few white dots appeared on the edge of his screen.
He walked through the runway for a few moments before the fueling station appeared ahead of him. He got the confirmation of what it was when Ruby's voice rang through his ears, "That's the fueling station. You found it."
He knew that he had to do now. He walked over to the fueling station and planted a C4 on one of the fuel tanks.
"Something is definitely going to go down in a moment." Fox stated.
"Yeah." Coco nodded in agreement, "Otherwise I doubt that they would show us Jaune placing that explosive on that fuel tank."
"I'm picking up more radio traffic about the satellite. Standby..." Ruby declared with a small pause between the sentences, "...Got it. Sounds like the satellite's in the far hangar. Race you there. Oscar Mike. Out."
"Race Ruby?" Yang whistled, turning to look at the leader of team JNPR, "Good luck, Jauney."
"I would definitely win if I had my semblance." Ruby stated, "Now, I don't really know. After all I didn't beat Weiss' record in the first mission."
Jaune turned his gaze away from the fueling and started heading towards his new destination. Making his way towards the spot where and Ruby were going to met up wasn't an easy task, because it was on the side of the runway that he was trying to avoid a few moments earlier, because it was filled with the enemies, but luckilly for him and Ruby, he made it there without any problem.
Ruby who was waiting for him in front of the back entrance to the hangar turned her attention towards him and removed her goggles and chuckled, "Took the scenic route, eh?"
Ruby smiled, "I won!"
"Let's go." Ruby told Jaune, turning her attention towards the back entrance again. Jaune took off his goggles, no longer having the need to use them as Ruby quietly opened the doors and entered the hangar, with Jaune quickly following her inside.
He and Ruby started walking through the hallway and when they were about two meters away from the turn to the right, a single guard came out of the path which they were intending to take, completely unaware of their presence.
Ruby rushed towards the guard and threw him against the lockers. The guard was taken aback by this sudden, as he attempted to break free from Ruby's grasp. She grabbed him by his shoulders and threw him down to the floor. She pulled out her knife and finished him off by stabbing him on his neck.
"Damn, Ruby." Sun voiced his thoughts. A lot of people in the audience, mostly Ruby's friends nodded in agreement.
"She just went full Yang on this guy." Melanie whispered to her sister who nodded in agreement.
"Her experience from five years ago clearly made her more brutal." Salem pointed out.
Ruby placed her knife back it's place and entered the main area of the hangar along with Jaune. There wasn't much there to see except for one thing that was in the middle. This thing was a partially disassembled satellite.
"Go upstairs and look for the ACS module." Ruby told Jaune as she came over to the satellitle and crouched down, beginning to look around it, trying to open it up.
Jaune nodded his head and walked over to the nearest stairs, before making his way to the upper level of the hangar. He entered a room with a computer on the other side of it. A ACS module was laying on a desk next to it. He unplugged it from the computer and picked it up, only a second before a loud clang rang through his ears.
"What was that?" Neptune asked,
"They've been spotted." Emerald voiced wha was on the minds of many people in the audience, "Weren't they?"
"Jaune, I've been compromised. Keep a low profile and hold your fire." Ruby explained her current situation to Jaune.
Emerald nodded her head to herself, as her guess turned out to be a correct one.
"This is Major Trifa!" A female voice cried out, "Come out with your hands up! To enemy infiltrators, we have captured one of your comrades!"
Adam, Sienna, Blake, Ilia, Kali and Ghira all leaned in towards the screen and narrowed their eyes when a familiar name and a familiar voice rang through their ears.
Jaune crouched down in front of the barrel and crates which were standing in front of the railing of the stairs he used to get himself on the upper level of the hangar and glanced down to see Ruby standing in the middle of the hangar with her hands raised in the air. At least a dozen faunus stood in front of her, with their weapons aimed right at her. The spider faunus which must have been the one speaking right right now stood in front of them, with a megaphone in her right hand.
"...Trifa." Ilia whispered to herself, recognizing the spider faunus along with a few other faunus in the audience that were related to the White Fang.
"We know you are up there! Surrender now, and we will spare your comrade! If you do not surrender, your comrade will die. Come out with your hands up!" Trifa continued to speak to Ruby's possible comrades, "Very well - I will give you five seconds before I execute your comrade! You have five seconds to comply!"
Trifa started counting down from five to zero as Ruby spoke up to Jaune, "Jaune, go to Plan B."
"Good thing Jaune planted that explosive." Yatsuhashi stated.
"Yeah." Coco nodded in agreement, "I can't think of any other way they could get out of there right now."
Jaune didn't waste any second and pulled out the detonator. He pressed it and detonated the C4 that he had planted of the fueling station not that long ago. The explosion distracted Trifa and the faunus that were with her as they turned around in the direction of it, away from Ruby and Jaune who used this to their advantage and quickly took all of them out, not leaving a single one alive.
Junior smirked, "It worked."
"Plan B always works." Roman nodded his head.
Neo looked up at her partner in crime, giving him a besumed look, "Always?"
"Alright." Roman rolled his eyes, "In most of the times."
"Stay close and hug the wall! We'll use the MiGs for cover and cross the tarmac to the southeast!" Ruby declared as Jaune ran down the stairs and joined her in front of the exit from the hangar.
He reloaded his ACR and took a quick cover behind the wall. He leaned out of his cover and took out the first faunus that caught his attention. His enemy was hiding behind a jeep. He aimed his ACR at the vehicle and waited for his enemy to lean out of the cover, and when he finally, Jaune quickly ended his life with a simple shot to his head.
It was a matter of a minute or two before Ruby and Jaune cleared out the nearest area out of their enemies which allowed them to move forward.
"Jaune! Follow me! Let's go!" Ruby yelled out, running out of the hangar, along with Jaune, starting to head towards the runway. When they reached it, she declared, "To the east, Jaune! Go!"
They entered the runway and started running along it, making sure to take out every faunus that appeared in their sight. Jaune spotted one faunus ahead of him and Ruby, firing his weapon at him. He made sure that his enemy wasn't going to hurt him or his teammate and got rid of him pretty quickly.
Ruby didn't waste time as well. She pulled out a grenade and threw it at the group of three faunus that was firing their weapons at her and Jaune from their position next to the flaming MiG. The grenade exploded, and the MiG exploded along with it, the explosion killing the group of faunus standing next to it.
Jaune spotted two faunus firing at him and Ruby from the balcony of the blue building ahead of him and his teammate. He aimed his ACR at one of the faunus and fired, taking out one of them.
He was about to take care of another one but was stopped from doing so when Ruby declared, "Snowmobiles! Take 'em out!"
He turned his gaze away from the balcony towards the direction Ruby was pointing at and saw two snowmobiles driving towards him and his partner. He aimed his weapon at the faunus on the right and fired, one of the bullets hitting his enemy right in the head. The body fell off the snowmobile which drove right past him and Ruby who made sure to take care of the other one.
No longer having to worry about snowmobiles, at least for now, Ruby and Jaune pushed themselves into run towards the edge of the hill which was right now of them, ignoring the rest of their enemies for now.
Jaune was the first one who reached the edge. He leaped himself forward and slided down the hill, finding himself between the three old looking wooden cabins. He looked up and saw Ruby sliding down the hill as well, intending to join him as soon as possible. She joined him between the cabins only a second later.
They didn't even had a second to take a break as the faunus ran over to the edge of the hill and fired down at them. Ruby and Jaune returned fire and actually managed to kill two of their enemies before the rest ran out of their sight for some reason. They quickly got their answer when three snowmobiles drove down the hill towards them.
Jaune easily took out both of the faunus on one of the snowmobiles, as Ruby hid herself behind one of the cabins, waiting for the right moment to strike. The right moment came and Ruby pulled out her ice pick, stabbing the driver right in the heart, killing him while Jaune got rid of the enemies on the third snowmobile.
"Ouch." Jaune said, rubbing the area around his heart, "That must have hurt."
"Jaune, take that snowmobile!" Ruby shouted, hopping into the snowmobile, "Let's get the hell out of here!"
"We're going to ride one of those things, now?" Ruby asked, looking forward to it.
"This is going to be interesting." Qrow stated, staring at the screen curiously.
"Oh, I wish I was in this mission right now." Yang rubbed her hands, looking forward to see what was going to happen right now.
Jaune got himself on top of the snowmobile drovedown the hill, hearing Ruby declare loudly, "Kilo Six-One, the primary exfil point is compromised! We're en route to the backup LZ using enemy transport! Meet us there! Over!"
She didn't had to wait long for the answer, "Bravo Six, this is Kilo Six-One, roger that, out."
The enemies started driving past Ruby and Jaune on their own snowmobiles which Ruby didn't fail to notice, "More tangos to the rear! Just outrun them! Go! Go!"
Jaune took out a G18 machine pistol with his left hand, making sure to focus his other one on the steering this vehicle and fired at the snowmobile in front of him. At first he only managed kill the faunus in the passenger seat, but right after her reloaded his machine pistol, the driver joined his dead buddy on the ground.
He quickly had to put his G18 aside when he noticed that he was driving right into a tree. He turned his vehicle to the right, and drove away from the tree, barely avoiding crashing into it.
"Don't slow down! Keep moving or your dead!" Ruby yelled out, driving up the hill along with Jaune.
They reached the edge of the hill and drove right past through it, landing a few meters away from it between another three old wooden cabins, and coming across a group of enemies.
"This is so intense!" Nora exclaimed loudly, to which many nodded in agreement.
Jaune pulled out his G18 once again, beginning to fire at the enemies between the cabins, killing only two of them as he drove past the rest. He didn't lower his G18 though, as his enemies continued to chase him and Ruby on their own snowmobiles. He opened fire at the snowmobile in front of him as he and Ruby drove into the frozen lake but quickly lowered it when he spotted a helicopter flying over them.
"Are you kidding me!" Ruby shouted, "Now this one too?!"
Jaune shook his head, "This is the last thing we need now!"
He lowered his G18 and focused his entire attention to avoid rockets which were fired at him and Ruby by the helicopter, managing to avoid each one of them as he and Ruby reached another hill. They drove up this hill, reaching the edge of it only a few seconds ago, but more problems arose when they drove through the edge of the hill.
Now, they had to drive downhill. At first, It might have seemed easy, but their new problems appeared when they reached the lower side o the hill which was filled with trees, which they now had to avoid.
Jaune clunched his hands tightly on his snowmobiles which was gaining more speed with each second it spend going downhill, barely managing to dodge by a few trees in the process.
A lot of people in the audience, mostly the students, sweatdropped because of the situation Jaune and Ruby were in.
He clunched his snowmobile tighter than he thought he could when he reached the end of the road, and jumped across massive cliff, barely making it to the other side.
"This is awesome!" Nora exclaimed, even louder than before as a lot of the people in the audience stared at the screen in awe.
"You're damn straight, Nora!" Yang agreed, imagining doing that herself with Bumbleebee.
"And I thought that the motorcycle scene in Try Hard 2 was awesome!" Sun exclaimed, enjoying what was happening on the screen right now. Neptune could only nod in agreement, his awe filled eyes staring at the screen.
"This was hands down one of the best moments we saw so far in this trilogy." Tai whispered to Summer and Qrow nodded in agreement.
"There's the chopper! Let's go!" Ruby pointed out, as she made it to the other side before Jaune did, noticing a helicopter in the distance.
"Bravo Six we have you on visual." Kilo Six-One called out to them, "Get your ass on board! We're running on fumes here!"
"Okay, they got the ACS! We're outta here!" The Chief of Kilo Six-One crew declared, as Ruby and Jaune stopped in front of the helicopter.
It was the last thing that happened before the screen went to black, meaning the end of the mission.
"This mission was awesome." Sun voiced his thoughts about this mission right after it ended.
"You're telling me." Yang grinned in agreement, "The last part was my favourite scene so far."
"The moment when Jaune jumped above the cliff was great." Pyrrha smiled at her partner and team leader.
"I'm happy I finally got to see myself in action through someone's else eyes." Ruby said, "I liked it a lot, minus the smoking part."
"I already like these 141 guys." Neptune stated.
"I know, right?" Nora grinned, "They already seem to be badasses."
"Speaking of this this 141 which was mentioned during Coco's and General Ironwood's talk." Winter spoke up, "I wonder how many members this team has."
"We'll find out soon." Goodwitch stated, "The masked woman that was mentioned earlier must be one of them."
"We also got a hint about who might be the next main target of the characters." Oobleck pointed out.
Sienna looked at Adam for a few seconds, "It makes sense that someone would replace me after my death."
"We'll probably find out more about him in one of the future missions." Emerald pointed out.
"I wonder if the next mission is going to be about Jaune and Ruby again, or are we going to go back to Coco and her undercover mission." Yatsuhashi wondered, placing his hand on his chin.
Coco shrugged, turning to look at B, "Only one way to find out."
B sighed, knowing which mission was next and pressed the button, starting it.
----
Oh, boy, I think we all know which mission is next.
