(a/n):Since so many of you said that the ending was trash, I've decided that I would try to give the story an ending it deserves. Ending would be the next chapter. Also will redo the vote thing.

Ruby stood up while tears were still streaming out from her eyes, she activated her silver eye powers, concentrating all of it into a massive scythe. She then used her semblance to dash behind y/n, scythe ready to cut him in half while Weiss and Blake charge towards y/n to assist Ruby.

y/n POV

For some reason, the abyss seemed afraid of Ruby's powers and teleported me away when she got behind me, apparently it was dangerous, I soon saw why as it made a massive cut into the ground. I decided to be more cautious. I suddenly felt a presence behind me, so I rolled to dodge the hit, it turned out Ozpin had consumed Oscar's soul and took over his body. I then saw Ruby charging up a hit in my peripheral vision so I parried Ozpin's attack and threw him towards Ruby just as she started to swing her scythe. Ruby managed to stop her attack but she wasn't ready for the wave of black flames coming for her. Both Ozpin and Ruby got burned by the flame. Ruby then charged up another attack, I tried to roll to the side but I couldn't as my legs were frozen by Weiss. As the attack was nearing me, I tried to parry it, however, my dagger just disintegrated along with my arm. I closed my eyes as the attack came for me, then everything turned black.

Weiss POV

The attack successfully hit y/n, he should be disintegrated now, there's no way he would survive that attack. I turned my head to look at Ruby, she looked exhausted. She then deactivated her powers and went to sit under a tree, still crying. I looked back towards the crater, Ruby's attack was strong but y/n is strong too, something's wrong, he shouldn't go down in one single hit, even if he is kind of like Grimm. I then heard a growl and turned around to see an entire Grimm army lead by Salem and her subordinates.

3rd Person POV

The Grimm then rushed towards Weiss as she used a glyph to propel herself away from the army of Grimm. Ruby activated her silver eye powers again to scare away some younger Grimm and kill some older ones. Blake tries to fight off the Grimm with Ozpin. It seemed like everything was going south and that they were all going to die. An inhuman growl was then heard as a black portal appeared out of nowhere and out came y/n. But something seemed off about him, his body seemed limp and jerked uncontrollably, his left arm seemed completely broken and he was covered in even more black stuff, if that was even possible. He then flung some black liquid onto the ground which created portals that transported an army of various hideous monsters to fight the Grimm. He then turned his attention to us, his red eyes staring into my soul.

y/n POV

I woke up to see that I was floating. The abyss ejected me out of my body so they could do whatever they needed to do, which probably had something to do with Manus, I was merely a tool. But what could I do while I was trapped outside my body? I glanced at my body and saw black strings controlling it. An idea popped into my mind, since the fire represents light and the abyss represents darkness, I would just have to use my powers as a lord of cinder to fight off the abyss' influence. The abyss seemed to sense that I wish to fight its control so it summoned an army of creature corrupted by the abyss to fight me. I then thought about summoning the Abyss Watchers, however, my instincts told me that they would probably work with the Abyss as they were probably corrupted. I took out my shotguns and readied my dash. I then dashed into the army of abominations, a flame trial followed me, burning some of the enemy. I then charged the shot guns with fire and spun while shouting "Die, die, die!". The shotguns fired massive fire balls that disintegrated most of the army. I then threw my shotguns which were now empty as hard as I could into the skulls of the few remaining enemies then took out my sword and knife to finish off those who didn't die. I then heard a growl behind me, I turned to see both Manus and Artorias, both eager to kill me. I lit my sword on fire, however, instead of the corrupted black fire, it was now a bright red flame. I was determined to right my wrongs and I will prove this through my actions of eradicating Manus and the abyss.

Blake POV

Weiss and I were trying our best to defend ourselves from y/n's relentless assault. Luckily for us, we figured out his general attack pattern, he would spin twice then somersault and slam his sword down. However sometimes he would change the pattern, it was usually the same. So we just stayed at a distance and tried to dodge the attacks to the best of our ability.

Y/n POV
While fighting Manus and Artorias, I realized that Artorias' movements were more slow and sluggish, this could be a trap or Manus isn't good at multi tasking but either way, I needed help. I directed the fire of the flame inside my soul, burning away any corruption by the abyss and allowing me to summon abyss watchers to aid me. However, I was significantly weakened because of this.
I summoned an elite legion of the abyss watchers. They attacked Manus and Artorias while I rested to recover my strength. While taking a rest, I was also observing the fight and to find opportunities to strike. I sneaked behind Manus while he was fighting another group of Abyss Watchers. Unfortunately for me, I was spotted by one of his many eyes and was sent flying by one of his attacks. I started thinking, if I was able to cleanse myself by burning my soul with the first flame, maybe I could also do that to Artorias. I put all the flames I could into my sword, then charged straight at Artorias while his back was turned. Manus made no attempt at trying to save his minion. My sword went right through Artorias, however, the traces of abyss didn't disappeare off of his body, he just kind of died. I guess that his soul was no more and he was merely a husk. Then I remembered that he fused his soul with mine. I put away my dagger and summoned Artorias' great sword. I was wielding two swords that are more effective towards the dark. I dashed towards Manus slashed, he blocked with one of his arms, however this action let the other watchers attack him. I then spun and slashed again while the other watchers were attacking Manus. Manus collapsed into black dust and the wind blew him away.

Weiss POV
While fighting y/n, I tripped on a pebble and sprained my ankle, making it really hard for me to dodge y/n's relentless attacks. I eventually fell on the ground, watching as Blake tried her best to distract the corrupted y/n, as his sword was about to strike me, a giant pillar of flames erupted from his body. When the flames subsided, y/n could be seen, however, he had no corruption on him.

y/n POV
I looked around and saw the abominations of the abyss winning against the Grimm as well as my sword nearly harming Weiss. I also saw the portals that are bring the abominations into this realm, I knew I had no choice but to call for help from the soul of cinder, who I really hated because he's a dick. But i have no choice.

I then yelled "I summon Thee, Soul of Cinder!"

The sun was then covered by a massive shadow and a beam of fire was shot down onto me. Once again, I was pushed out of my body once again as the Soul of Cinder took over my body.
