(text)-abyss watchers speech

(a/n)- I'm making you strong enough to take on a deathstalker on your own. After all, abyss watchers are made to fight creatures from the abyss and I think Grimm are weaker. Also you're a boss.

y/n pov

I fell through the unknown portal and landed on my feet, it seems like I landed in a village in this strange land. I looked around to see burning houses and bandits taking whatever they want. I looked around and saw black creatures with white masks that look like wolves rampaging through the village battling some men. 

'They look like something that would come out of the abyss, it is best if I kill them, the men won't survive longer'

I used dashed forward and did an almost 360 degree swipe and decapitated a few of the black creatures, then I stabbed my dagger into the eye of another. They evaporated into black mist. 

(Dodge to the right!) 

*Quickly rolls to your right side*

A black claw came from behind and missed you. Unfortunately, the men you were trying to save failed to dodge the attack and were killed. You turned around and saw a similar creature that resembled a bear. You quickly jumped up high and stabbed your greatsword into the bear's skull. It too turned into a black mist. 

You then continued to destroy the black creatures.

Village Chief POV

'Where are those huntsmen, they should've been here ages ago!' I thought while hiding in my house with some other villagers.

*CRASH*

I looked outside and saw a masked man slaying the Grimm like it was nothing, his sword slicing through them like hot knife through butter while not taking any hits from the Grimm. I then looked up and see a bullhead and 4 huntsmen came running out and drew their weapons. I sigh and waited for the threat to end so we can build more protection for the village.

y/n POV

I finally killed all the black creatures, they were way too easy to slay compared to creatures from the abyss. What if they were not creatures of the abyss? I did travel through a portal so I guess I'm in another world? I thought as I looked around the destroyed village. I then spotted 4 people with weapons that I haven't noticed before when I started slaying the creatures. They had weapons and were heavily panting, I guess the creatures were too hard for them? 

*Click*

I looked towards the sound and saw some people come out of the biggest structure in the village. There was a man with many shiny accessories so I assumed that he must be someone important.

Village Chief: Greetings, I am the village chief, thank you all for saving the village, what can we do to repay you?

The four people with weapons just responded with "lien". I think that is the currency of this world. The village chief then pulled out some paper and handed it to them. They bid their farewells and left.

Village Chief: And you? You helped save the village as well. How may I repay you? Mr.

I thought about replying with abyss watchers but then that would be weird and may cause suspicion so I said "l/n"

Village Chief: How may I repay you Mr. l/n?"

"Just give me a place to stay and some history books."

Village Chief: That can be arranged. You may stay in my guest room. He said while giving me a tour of the house and ordering some villagers to grab some history books. After a while we finally arrived at the guest room.

The Guest room was fairly large and had a bed and a table, the history books were on the table. I thank the village chief and started reading. Apparently this place is called Remnant and the black creatures were called Grimm. 

Timeskip

I finished reading the books and I lay on the bed, I do not need sleep but sleeping feels good and the bed was comfortable so I slept anyways.
