The group was still on their way to the next location to eliminate the Beowolf back, completely unaware that their was now a person tracking their movements.

"So, do you think we'll get to the next location before nightfall?" Jaune asks Coco, who was currently holding her scroll to use as a map.

"No we're going to have to find a spot to camp later but we'll be close enough to the third hoard of Grimm that we can get the last two done tomorrow and then head back to Beacon." Coco explained as she continued to lead the group through the forest.

A few hours later

The group had set up camp once again and had started to take shifts to guard the tents. Currently Jaune was taking the first shift with Pyrrah and Blake and they had decided to patrol the perimeter of the camp until it was the next group's turn.

Jaune was standing on the south edge of the camp and was starting to get bored.

'Hey Tukson are you there?' Jaune asked the ghost to try and talk to appease his boredom.

'Kid I'm always here what do you want?' Tukson responded a little agitatedly at the blonde.

'Yeah sorry I'm just getting bored of watching the perimeter.' Jaune answered nervously.

'Fine then what is it you want to talk about?"' Tukson questioned with slight curiosity.

'Well you used to know Blake from when she was in the White Fang so you should have some stories about that I guess?" Jaune answered the ghost.

'Yeah I know a couple things about her but you may want to here them later, there is a person trying to sneak up on the camp about half a mile in front of you.' Tukson warned which got Jaune's attention to the South to look for the intruder.

Jaune started to walk over to the area and unsheathed Corcea Mors and as he got closer he saw a quick flash of pink fabric move through the trees and bushes.

"Who's there?" Jaune said quietly as he readied his sword.

Jaune then continued to walk in the direction of what he saw until he reached a small clearing. Jaune slowly walked as he got closer to the center, looking for the person. Then a short girl with an umbrella walked out from behind a tree and looked at Jaune.

"Oh it's you, why are you here?" Jaune asked as he put away Corcea Mors while Neo started to walk toward him.

Neo then walked right in front of Jaune and stared at him for a few seconds as if she was inspecting him.

"Um what do you think you're do..." Jaune said only to be cut off as Neo grabbed his shirt collar and pulled him into a kiss.

Jaune started to struggle to pull away only for Neo to let go, letting him land right on his back.

"What was that?!?" Jaune stammered with a slight blush on his face.

Neo then shattered like a mirror indicating that she was gone. Jaune then got up and dusted himself off to start walking back to camp.

'Well that was weird.' Jaune said to Tukson, still blushing a little over what had happened.

'Yeah but I guess you were so flustered you didn't notice that she put a note in your pocket.' Tukson pointed out causing Jaune to search his pockets and pull out a scrap of paper.

'Hey kid it's me again.
Look if you could get your little field trip over with soon that'd be great because I've still got a job for you to do, or if you want I could just send Neo to clear out that dust cave and get that little family heirloom to since that's probably worth a pretty penny'
Jaune read to himself and instantly ripped the note up and threw away the scraps.

'Well that's just great!' Jaune said to Tukson angrily as he walked back to camp, noticing that his shift was almost up.

Morning

Jaune had woken up and thought back on the events from last night as he exited his tent to meet with everyone else.

The rest of the group were packing up their tents and stuff and Jaune then started to do the same.

"Hey Jaune can I talk to you?" Pyrrah called as she waved Jaune over to her.

"Yeah I'm coming!" Jaune replied as he ran over to see what she wanted.

Jaune ran over to Pyrrah who was by herself and away from the others so Jaune suspected that she wanted to talk about something either important or private.

"Yes Pyrrah what is it?" Jaune asked as he stopped in front of her.

"Last night I went to go and get you when our shift was almost over." Pyrrah said with a hint of malice in her voice.

"Yeah..." Jaune stuttered out nervously as he thought about what she saw.

"And I'm wondering who that girl was who was with you and how did she get here?" Pyrrah asked in a fierce tone as she glared daggers at Jaune.

"Well she worked for a guy I did a job for before I came back to Beacon and as to how she got here, I think she tracked us or something." Jaune answered sheepishly as he started to sweat a little.

"Is that all?" Pyrrah said as she continued her stare.

"Look if your wondering why she kissed me I have no idea and I did not intend for that to happen." Jaune replied quickly as he backed up a step or two.

"*Sigh* Fine but you're going to tell me all about this later." Pyrrah told him as she walked back to camp fallowed by Jaune.

Jaune then slowly packed up the rest of his tent and things and got ready to leave with the group while he thought about what would happen with Pyrrah.

The group had then started to move again and Jaune was back into position like everyone else.

"Ok everyone be ready we'll be near the Beowolves soon." Coco told the group quietly as she motioned for them to all have their weapons ready.

The groups moved closer until they spotted the large pack of about 40 well armored Beowolves moving through some of the trees.

"Ok explosive and long range users be ready to take out as many as possible then everyone get ready for close combat with the rest." Coco whispered as everyone got ready for the attack.

Everyone was either in the trees or the bushes now and was ready to take down the pack of Grimm. Then Coco gave a signal and everyone except Yang, Ren, Yatsuhashi, and Fox began to fire their respective weapons at the pack which instantly mowed down about half of them before they could take action.

"Ok everyone get ready!" Coco shouted to the group as the Beowolves began to charge.

The first ones to approach were stopped by Fox and Yatsuhashi who were using several combinations of attacks to push them back. Then everyone else joined in and started to eliminate the Grimm with ease. Soon their was only three Beowolves left and they were cornered.

"Ok let's finish this up and get going." Yang said as she got ready to finish the fight, unaware that all the dead Grimm were turning into black dust.

The dust then seemed to rush over to the three wolves and encircled them at high speeds until it eventually formed a ball around them.

"Um what now?" Yang asked nervously only for their to be no response until the ball had burst open revealing a three headed Beowolf covered in dark grey bone armor.

The newly morphed Grimm then let out a primal roar as it charged at Yang and prepared to rip her to shreds.

"Look out!" Jaune shouted as he tapped into Tukson's aura so he could get in front of the attack.

As the Grimm swung it's claws down to try and kill Yang Jaune had gotten in front of her and grabbed it's arms with his hands as he dug his animalistic claws into the Beowolf's arms. The Beowolf then let out a terrible growl as it pulled itself free from Jaune's grasp and jumped away.

"Are you okay?" Jaune asked as he held his hand out to Yang who had fallen over from the surprise.

"Yeah don't worry about me vomit boy." Yang answered while she tried to hide a small blush on her face.

The Grimm then let out another roar and pulled the two blondes attention back toward it.

"So what should we do now?" Jaune shouted out to the group for any ideas on how to kill it.

"Velvet, Fox, Yatsuhashi go with burning comet." Coco said to her team as if she was just ignoring Jaune.

Velvet then released several red dust shards that rocketed toward the Grimm as Yatsuhashi sent Fox flying above it. As the bombs exploded leaving a thick cloud of smoke behind Fox began to fall right into the smoke, and as he landed on top of the Grimm and delivered a powerful hit to it's torso the Grimm collapsed to the ground while the smoke was dispersed from the impact. As Fox got off the Grimm everyone could see a large fist sized hole going through it as it laid dead and soon dispersed into black dust.

"Good job guys now let's go we've got another target a couple miles north from here." Coco ordered and the group got ready to leave but didn't stick to the order that they had discussed earlier.

As they continued to walk Blake had gotten next to Jaune and looked slightly nervous about something.

"Hey are you okay Blake?" Jaune asked nicely as he turned his head toward the cat Faunus.

"Yeah but I was just wondering since you can talk to Tukson, has he told you anything about me from when I was in the white fang?" Blake questioned with a deep blush on her face.

"No not really why?" Jaune asked curiously and thought of talking to Tukson about this later.

"No reason just wondering." Blake said quickly as she walked away from Jaune.

"Everyone the next target is another mile ahead of us so be ready." Coco said as she motioned for them to stop.

"What exactly are we dealing with anyway?" Weiss asked.

"It's going to be 4 Nevermores that have each grown larger than the normal variety." Coco explained.

"Well that shouldn't be to hard." Weiss said as a loud screech was he heard from above them causing everyone to look up and see the avian Grimm circling around them.

"Looks like they found us everyone try to knock them out of the sky." Coco said as everyone got out their long range weapons.

The Grimm then split apart from each other as the volley of bullets and dust explosives flew at them clipping one of their wings and sending it to the ground.

"Fox, you and Yatsuhashi will take care of the ones that hit the ground!" Coco shouted causing Fix and his silent teammate to run after the grounded Nevermore.

The other three had then fired several feathers at high speeds which implanted their way into the ground or into the nearby trees. Velvet had then fired several blue dust shards at one of the Grimm that froze it in mid air and was then blown up by one of Nora's dust grenades.

"Ren did you see that it was like fireworks!" Nora said giggling to herself.

"Yes Nora I saw but how about we try to get the rest of them." Ren suggested as he continued to fire several shots aimed at the Nevermores.

Meanwhile Pyrrah was taking several accurate shots with her rifle which only seemed to slow down the Grimm.

"A little help please!" She shouted as a red dust arrow was sent from Jaune's bow right into the Nevermore causing it to burst into flames and fall.

Now there was only one Nevermore still in the air that was now trying to fly away from the battle only to be shot through the head by Ruby.

"Okay we better go get Fox and Yatsuhashi." Coco said as the group walked over to where the first Nevermore fell.

As the group approached they arrived just in time to se Yatsuhashi slice the severely wounded Nevermore's head off.

"Hey guys what took you so long?" Fox called out in a cocky tone as they met back up with the group.

"Be quiet Fox we're going to start heading back to Beacon and I don't need you giving me a headache." Coco replied jokingly
