Forest on the border of Vale and Vacuo

Y/N dropped down to the floor unconscious, his pain appearing to stop and now silence filled the forest. Teams RWBY, JNPR, CVFY, DRGN and AQUA along with Cinder, Emerald, Winter and Qrow looked at the unconscious boy in confusion but were quickly drawn out of that confusion by the sounds of fairly loud footsteps as the group turned around they saw a familiar green suit. 

"Let's take Mr L/N back to Beacon so we can see why he was acting the way he was". Professor Ozpin said in his usual calm tone. Weiss looked at the ground with sadness before saying "Professor this is all my fault". She said as tears fell from her eyes staining the ground, Winter and Ozpin looked at Weiss in confusion."What ever do you mean this is your fault Weiss"? Winter asked curious wondering as to why her sister was acting like this, she then looked at Weiss with clear concern for her."It's my fault he ran away, the weeks before he ran away we hadn't been seeing eye to eye after he had a fight with Team SSSN". 

Weiss began but couldn't continue because of her tears, Winter approached Weiss and pulled her into a hug trying to comfort her. Weiss initially flinched on contact but looked up to see her her sister and smiled before Professor Ozpin said."Yes I heard about that match, apparently Mr L/N gave them some nasty scars". Weiss nodded before adding."The day he left we got into another argument about why he went to far in the match, he yelled at me about what Team SSSN said to him, he then said that he was going to leave and if anyone followed him he would leave Beacon and never come back". Weiss tried to cry but no tears left her eyes. 

Groaning could be heard from behind the group, as they turned around they saw Y/N rising to his feet gingerly, he wobbled and swayed a few times before regaining his balance."Ugh what the fuck happened, why does my head hurt"? Y/N clutched the side of his head, as his head was in so much pain. He looked around and saw a pile of dead bodies, limbs and blood everywhere, at first he looked horrified but that quickly turned to a look of remorse, the look of remorse then left until Y/N had a look of pure frustration and anger."FOR FUCKS SAKE"! Y/N yelled causing the massive group, including Ozpin, to flinch. Pyrrha tentatively walked up to Y/N, once she was in a few feet of him she looked at him with a huge amount of concern and tentatively asked him. "Y/N are you okay"?

Y/N looked over to Pyrrha and his face softened slightly before saying."If I'm being perfectly honest my Queen no I am far from okay, He got into my head again and forced me to kill random people all to appease his blood lust". Y/N said as small tears began to run down his face, he hated when Grima took control of his body as he felt useless, Pyrrha ran up to him as fast as she could and hugged him tightly, almost as if she didn't want to let him leave her ever again, she was soon followed by Tiki, Blake, Kamui and Neo."It's okay Y/N, you are not to blame for what happened. Remember what we told you after you told us what happened to your village"? Blake said looking at her boyfriend, Y/N looked at Blake and nodded as Blake continued "We told you that we would be there to help you no matter the problem and we all meant it". One after another they kissed Y/N on the lips in an attempt to calm him down.

Weiss then asked Winter to politely for let her go, when Winter released Weiss she slowly walked up to Y/N thinking about what to say to him 'I hope he can forgive me, I didn't want him to leave. I love him too much to let him leave me again.' When she reached Y/N Weiss fidgeted on the spot, she was uncomfortably nervous as she didn't want to upset Y/N and have him leave everyone's lives forever."Um Y/N". Weiss said in a quiet tone but just loud enough to get Y/N attention. When he turned his attention to Weiss his muscles stiffened slightly as if he expected her to give him a verbal lashing for being so reckless."Yes Weiss". Y/N replied in a slightly nervous tone."I just wished to say that I am sorry for the way I acted towards you after your fight with Team SSSN, I was being selfish and really only looking at the event from my point of view and not yours. Can you please forgive me"! Weiss said as she yelled the last part, she bowed her head as fresh tears began to well up in her eyes again.

Pyrrha, Blake, Tiki, Neo and Kamui looked at Y/N with concern but Y/N just smiled, the girls let go of him as he began to walk towards Weiss. As he approached Weiss she tensed up expecting him to hit her but he instead placed his hand on her shoulder. This caused Weiss to look up at Y/N who smoked and said."It's okay Weiss I forgive you, I must apologise not only to you but to everyone here. I'm sorry for leaving so suddenly and not contacting you, in reality I should be the one asking for forgiveness as it was me who did some horrible things". 

Everyone looked at Y/N in confusion before Qrow asked."So kid you remember all the stuff you did these last couple of weeks"? He asked as he took out his flask and took a swig of it."Yeah I remember it all, to help you understand imagine if someone trapped you inside your own mind and then forced your body to do things that you yourself do not want to do, and you have no way of stopping yourself from doing those horrible things". 

Ruby and Velvet ran at Y/N and tackled him in a massive hug and cried into his chest. They cried about how they were sorry that they couldn't help him when he needed them the most. Y/N the reassured them that it was okay and he really appreciated that they cared so deeply about him. After a few minutes Ruby and Velvet got off of Y/N and stood up but just as Y/N got up Emerald ran at Y/N and hugged his chest and cried into it, staining his hoodie even more, Cinder then walked up to Y/N with a look of sadness that caused Y/N to immediately become concerned. 

"Hey what's the matter girls"? Y/N asked them, Emerald began to cry even more as Cinder seemed to retracted from Y/N as he asked the question but quickly regained her composure and said."It's Mercury, he's been a lot more aggressive lately and before we came out here he... he". Cinder began but trailed off as the tears began to flow, Emerald let go of Y/N lifted her pant leg so Y/N could see the massive bruise that covered almost all of her thigh. Cinder then lifted up part of her dress to show a massive bruise that covered her mid section. 

Y/N's blood began to boil at the injuries that Emerald and Cinder had suffered at the hands of Mercury, he then ran over to Cinder and hugged her tightly and then motioned for Emerald to join in."Why, why did he do this"? Y/N barely holding in his anger."Because we refused to go along with the plan, after what you said to us it made me and Emerald question why we were doing this if we weren't going to be happy at the end of it all". Cinder began but Emerald added. "He then yelled at us calling us weak minded and then surprise attacked us, we did mange to get a few good shot in on him but we have been staying with your team because we don't want to be anywhere near him"."Let's get going to Beacon I wish to have a chat with Mercury". Y/N said as his eyes flashed blood red for a split second. 

A/N: and that concludes Chapter 17. Mercury is in for a world of hurt when Y/N gets back to Beacon.
