Ryu walked into the stadium and saw Aero sitting down. He smiled before walking over to the empty seat.

Ryu: Yo!

Aero: Hey Ryu. Shouldn't you be down there in case your called?

Ryu: Nah it's fine I can just teleport.

Aero: Alright then.

Front the corner of his eye, Ryu saw Ruby and she waved at him. He waved back and she got up from her seat to get to come to this side.

Ryu: Hold up, I'll grab her.

Aero: Oh sure.

Ryu got up from his seat and teleported to Ruby.

Ryu: Looking for me Rubes?

Ruby: Oh right teleporting. Well I guess we shouldn't leave Aero hanging.

They begin walking through the hall.

Ruby: So does Aero seem familiar to you in anyway?

Ryu mentally choked as he remembered that none of the others knew Aero's name before she came to Beacon.

Ryu: I mean not for more than the time I knew her.

They kept going until they saw Mercury in the hall.

Ryu: Hey Mercury, what are you doing over here? Unless I remember right, you can't teleport like me.

They all heard the announcement for that fight from outside due to the microphone.

Port: It looks like our first contender is Penny Polendina from Atlas!

Ruby: What are you doing?

Port: And her opponent will be: Pyrrha Nikos from Beacon!

Both Ruby and Ryu's eyes widened in horror thinking of the disasters that could happen.

Ryu: Oh no...

Mercury: Oooh polarity vs metal. That could be bad.

Ryu: Ok I'm not even gonna ask how either of you know that she's an Android, you better get out of the way. And I mean just now

Mercury: Make me.

Ryu: I'm not gonna fight if I don't need to.

Mercury: Than I guess you don't wanna go any farther.

Ryu: I'm serious Mercury. Move, or your gonna regret it.

Mercury: Mmmmm... No thanks.

Ryu had a vein pop in his head as he moved forward. Mercury kept his calm smirk until he for some reason, he was scared for his life. Ryu kept walking as Mercury's fear grew with each step.

Mercury: 'Wh-What is this guy? A second ago I was fine, but this... He's willing to kill me if I don't get out of his way! My old man never gave of such a killer intent...'

Mercury saw a dark shadow loom over Ryu as his eyes flashed red. He stayed completely still as Ryu walked past him.

Ryu: Come on Ruby.

Ruby: Oh, Right!

Ruby ran past Mercury and they ran to get to the door. Mercury fell down to his knees and was sweating up a storm.

Mercury: 'Something is different about him. It separates him from everyone else. It's not just his strength, it's his Eyes.'

Ruby and Ryu made it out but it was at the worst possible time. Pyrrha used her polarity to knock away the 10 swords.

Ryu: Crap Crap Crap Crap!!

Ryu tried to redirect the swords to the ground with his own polarity but it was to late, the wires connected to Penny's swords wrapped around her as she had been torn apart. Ruby has fallen to the ground in full tears.

Ruby: Penny...

Ryu huffed her and tried to comfort her.

Ryu: I'm sorry Ruby...

Tears threaten to spill out of the boys eyes but he knew better than that.

Ryu: 'I've gotta be strong for her too.'

???: This, is not a tragedy.

Ryu: That voice.

???: This, was not an accident.

Ruby: What is it?

Ryu: That's the same voice as Aero's team leader.

Ruby: It is?

Ryu thought of how this could have been possible until he remembered the night they fought the masked women.

Ryu: Wait a minute. The silent treatment for a while, the fighting style. And if what happened that night is what I think we happened.

Ruby: Are you saying that she's the culprit?

Ryu: Yeah. Sadly...

Ruby: Why sadly?

Ryu: Ruby... If Mercury and Emerald were a part of her little scheme, then that could mean that she was a part of it too...

Ruby: But she was so, and you two always.

Ryu: I know. I can't believe I couldn't see the writing in the wall...

People ran by the two as a Nevermore was about to break through the force field.

???: I know damn well your not gonna give up here.

Ryu: ..... You know what? No.

Ryu stood up and wiped the tears from his eyes.

Ryu: I've has enough of the tears. Enough of everyone running. Earlier I had my resolve, and I'm not gonna let this break me.

Pyrrha was still in the ring not moving.

Jaune: Pyrrha!!!

Juan ran in trying to go after her but the Nevermore broke through and dived down. They where blown back by the wind and the massive bird was about to charge straight at them.

I'll give you all 5 seconds to figure out what happens.

Ryu came in using Ruby's Petal Burst Semblance and grabbed the bird by the wing.

Ryu: Fly your way out of this!!!

He begun to swing the Grimm around and around before he let go of it. It hit one of the empty stands and finishing it off we're the rocket lockers stabbing into it. All of the Students that participated in the tournament were there. Ryu walked over to Pyrrha who was in tears.

Pyrrha: Ryu I'm sorry!

Ryu: Don't be sorry, be better.

He knelt down to her level and put a hand on her shoulder.

Ryu: A strong man once told me those words. That man was my father. Plus it wasn't your fault.

Jaune: He's right.

Jaune walked over with Pyrrha's shield and spear in his hand.

Jaune: Whoever was on the microphone, they're the ones that did this. And we have to make sure; they don't take anyone else.

He gave them to Pyrrha as Ryu's expression somehow got even more serious as he looked into the sky. Many Grimm Griffons were flying into the arena. One landed but was shot by Professor Port.

Port: Students? I think it would be best if you leave.

Ruby: But we-

Oobleck: Miss Rose! This day will surely go down in Remnants history. And I'd prefer it if my students could live to tell about it.

Ryu have him a look of respect before a slight smirk and they all started running.

Azure: So how bad do you think it'll be?

Erica: You know Grimm are attracted to negative thoughts and emotions.

Karma: Honestly, on a scale of 1 to 10 on the danger scale, this is definitely a 15.

Ryu kept silent before he stopped.

Ryu: Guys keep going, my team and I will catch up with you in a sec.

Azure: Wait what?

Karma: Ryu?

Erica: What do you wanna tell us?

Ryu: The whole truth. I didn't explain everything to you guys before and I wanna fix that now. If your pissed off with me afterwards I won't blame you.

Time Skip!!

Azure: So that's the entire thing huh?

Karma: The Maidens really do exist.

Erica: Not to mention Amber was one an the kind of danger Pyrrha is in.

Ryu: Sorry I didn't tell you sooner.

Karma placed her hands on a Ryu's shoulders.

Karma: What matters is that you did.

Azure: Better late than that ever.

Erica: Look on the bright side, you can at least gain overwhelming power.

Ryu: Oh that's just a giving.

Azure: Looks like I'm gonna be left in the dust. God this is fantastic.

Ryu: I mean I left you in the dust a while back remember.

Azure: Oh haha.

They all started laughing.

Karma: It's weird. We may not be able to laugh like this together again for a while.

Ryu: Screw that even if I do need to be Pyrrha's guardian I'm still gonna be your leader too. That's means we'll always be around each other.

Azure: Of course.

Karma: For sure!

Erica: Just like family.

Ryu: Ok guys, first off, I'll need to stay with Pyrrha in case Ozpin or anyone comes for the transfer. Azure, you need to head were Blake and Weiss are, Karma, get Yang and meat up with him after. Erica, go help Ruby, make sure she doesn't do anything to stupid.

Ryu put out his hand in front of the others.

Ryu: Team Rage on 3?

They all nodded as they placed their hands on top of his.

All: 1, 2, 3, TEAM RAGE!

Ryu: Alright let's move!

Ryu activated his Half Hot Half Cold Mode, Azure used his Lightning Mode, Karma boosted herself to her limit, and Erica started glowing. They all scattered as they moved in different directions. As he ran, Ryu noticed the ground shook.

Ryu: Oh no, what is it now?!

???: Look at the mountain.

Ryu: You again? Just who are you?!

Ryu looked to the mountain and noticed that it was starting to break.

Ryu: NOOOOO.

It started to break more revealing two sets of red eyes.

Ryu: NO NO NOOOOO.

It started to break more as he heard sounds coming from it.

Ryu: NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO-

The mountain fully broke as it revealed two giant Grimm Dragons.

Grimm Dragoon!

Ryu: OH YOU MOTHER FU-

Elsewhere!

Ruby: On the air ship when she heard something else out in the distance.

Ryu: -CKEEEEEEEEER!!!!

Ruby: WOW he's so angry it crazy.

Back to Ryu!

Ryu: Wow I haven't sworn so loud since last 4th of July.

Ryu continued running until he was met with a hard punch to the face.

Ryu: I know only one person who hits that hard...

He looked up to see Aero in her original outfit.

Ryu: I wanted to believe that you didn't have any part in this, but I guess I was wrong...

She said nothing but got into her fighting stance.

Ryu: Do you really think this is right?

Aero: Shut up...

Ryu: Is this what you wanted? Chaos and panic?

Aero: Shut up...!

Ryu: Did you just make me fall in love with you so I wouldn't suspect anything?! Cause I'll be honest, IT WORKED!

Aero: SHUT UP!!

Aero glowed in a purple and pink Aura as her hair stood up.

Ryu: So your being serious this time huh? If that's how you want it...

Ryu took his own stance as his Aura began to rage out.

Ryu: 'This is all the power I can use right now. Judging by how strenuous it is right now, I can only maintain this for 2 minutes. Gotta make it count.'

Aero took the first move as she appeared in front of Ryu and in the exact opposite way at it happened last time, Ryu caught Aero's punch.

Ryu: 'That's pretty ironic.'

They started to engage in combat with neither on having any edge. Aero landed 3 punches on Ryu face and in the same time Ryu was able to land 4 hit to her side.

Ryu: 'Wonder if Tina has gotten here yet.

Elsewhere!

Azure: Come on gotta get there in time!

Azure kept running at full speed to get to where he could sense Weiss.

Azure: Why isn't Blake with her though?! I hate being in the Dark like this!

Just then a massive shadow looked over Azure as he heard rumbling along with it. He looked above him to see a red mechanical wolf and smiled.

Azure: Man do you have perfect timing or what?

Tina "The red cyborg Wolf" Kaizen.

Tina: *Bark*

She lifted Azure onto her head as she started going faster.

Azure: Alright straight ahead girl!

They came across a Paladin and Tina growled. The saw blades on her shoulders spun before detaching and cutting it in four.

Azure: Good job.

He rubbed the top of her head before they came across the other students.

Azure: Look like you guys needed that.

Weiss: WHAT IS THAT THING?!!!

Tina growled and her buzzsaws started spinning.

Azure: Easy girl.

He patted her head again soothing her and making the blades stop spinning.

Azure: This is another one of Ryu's pets. HER name is Tina. And call her an it again and she'll slice you to pieces.

Weiss: Noted!

Back to the Fight!

Ryu: 'About that well.'

Ryu dodged another punch from Aero who was progressively getting stronger.

Ryu: 'She's getting angrier?'

She kicked him in the stomach making him spit out blood. He was sent back into a wall in pain. She was about to hit him again but received a hard kneed to the stomach making her go up in the air.

Ryu: Gotta do it while I can.

He Requiped Crescent Nightshade as he jumped to were she was.

Ryu: EXTREME BREAKER!!!

He slashed at her making an X of energy making her wince in pain. However she pushed through it and grabbed Ryu in a Full Nelson as they began to crash to the ground.

Aero: I can take falls pretty well but how about you?!

Ryu: 'Crap! Time is almost out too! I gotta break free!!'

As they went to the ground there was a large crash and the concrete broke. From the smoke, Aero got up badly injured, but she was slowly healing.

Aero: It's over...

She began walking but stopped when she heard the rubble move.

Aero: What?

Ryu: *Muffled* GROAAAAAAAH!!!!!!

The ruble exploded revealing a battle damaged Ryu. The top half of his clothing was gone and his pants had become worn.

Ryu: Whew. That was to close.

Let's go back to the moment they were about to hit the ground. Any normal person wouldn't be able to get up as easily as Ryu did. Before the moment of impact, Ryu hardened the Aura around his body making it him twice as resistant as usual. But knowing that it wouldn't be enough, he used Azure's Semblance to soften the earth around them to lesson the force of the impact. That way he would sustain the least amount of damage.

Ryu: That was a gamble and a half.

Aero: Why do you have to keep getting up?!!

Ryu: Didn't I tell you already?

Aero didn't bother listening further and ran at Ryu trying to attack him again but he wrapped her in a hug.

Ryu: I promised I wouldn't run away from you.

Aero was having none of it and tried punching him repeatedly in the stomach making him spit out blood multiple times.

Aero: Let go! LET ME GO!!!

His grip didn't waver as he still held onto her. She started tearing up while doing this until her powerful punches became light taps.

Ryu: I get it now. Your reason for doing this. If your crying now than it means you really didn't want any of this. The higher up you told me wasn't Cinder, but somebody who's even scarier...

Aero looked into his eyes that were filled with sympathy for her.

Aero: I- *Sniff* I'm so sorry! This was so-

Before she could say anything else she was silenced with a kiss by Ryu. They broke apart after what seems like hours only it being a few seconds.

Aero: How could you just do that? After the terrible things I helped do? How can you forgive me so easily?

Ryu: I don't know how or why. I just... can.

The Aura around her faded as Ryu wiped the tears off of her eyed.

Ryu: I've got to go now.

Aero: You need to hurry, Cinder is trying to get the other half of your sisters Maiden powers.

Ryu: Shoot. I gotta go fast then.

Aero: Wait. You won't have enough Aura to maintain that speed for long. Turn around.

Ryu didn't bother to ask any questions and did as she asked. In a pained effort, she bit Ryu's neck making him grunt.

Aero: There...

Ryu: Aero!

She passed out with Ryu catching her. He laid her down on a bench that wasn't destroyed and felt Jaune's Aura near Pyrrha's.
