Ryu was flying through the air looking rather annoyed.

Ryu: Somehow it completely slipped my mind that Atlas was still EXTREMELY FAR AWAY!!! I'VE BEEN FLYING FOR 12 FUCKING HOURS!!!

Shojo: Better than 8 months.

Ryu looked ahead to see that Atlas was in his sights.

Ryu: FINALLY!!!

He flew at even faster speeds with the wind getting pulled behind him. When he was actually inside the city he landed on the ground.

Ryu: Alright I'll probably be able to run from here on out.

Shojo: Do you really think that's smart?

Ryu: Good point. Also, I think I'll pay a visit to an old friend.

Shojo: Old friend?

Ryu: You'll see.

He began walking until he reached a simple small pharmacy. He opened the door and saw a dark skinned old man.

Ryu: Mind if an old friend visits?

???: My word! You wouldn't happen to be Ryu Kaizen would ya?!

Ryu: Course I am Pietro.

Pietro "Likable on sight" Polendina!

Pietro: Well you've grown into a fine young man! I was wondering when you'd finally get here!

Ryu: So have my friends already gotten here?

Pietro: Why yes they have. Also, my daughter is excited to see you.

Ryu: Say what now?

Pietro: You didn't think I'd leave her in shambles like that did you?

Shojo: Uhhh, Ryu, who's his daughter? As a matter of fact who is HE?

Ryu: Your not joking about Penny?!

Pietro: Not in the slightest!

Ryu: Everything is right in the world. Ok so where are the others?

Pietro: Their all at the headquarters! Ironwood personally have the the Huntsmen rank!

Ryu: Oh... That must show how bad the situation is then.

Pietro: Well now that you're here it's a whole 75 percent increase in our favor!

Ryu smiled hearing the jolly old mans statistics.

Ryu: Yeah. Well Pietro, it was good seeing you again. I just had to come back here once.

Pietro: Don't be a stranger my boy! Your always welcome!

Ryu walked out of the store leaving a satisfied Pietro.

Shojo: So he's the one who built Penny. I see the resemblance.

Ryu: Well, now to get down to business. And screw walking I'm flying.

Ryu immediately flew up into the air and was about to fly into the clouds but he felt something.

Ryu: Grimm.

The alarm went off in the city as people started running into their houses.

Ryu: I guess a quick stretch will be fine.

He looked around to see griffons and even an Opal.

Ryu: Well, I'll have to do this quick and minimize the damage.

Shojo: Wolf Emperor?

Ryu: Oh yeah.

Ryu swiftly transformed as he pulled out Crescent Nightshade. In a fraction of a second, he slashed apart the tigers and left the Opal. It flapped it's wings creating a slight gust of wind. It did nothings to protect it as Ryu used the Chain Scythe mode to cut it in half.

Ryu: 5 seconds flat. That's a new record.

The alarm went off again was Ryu noticed more Grimm.

Ryu: Thats gonna happen a lot more huh?

Ryu was about to power up a blast to destroy the Grimm but somebody with a green laser beat him to it.

Ryu: A green laser?

Ryu looked up in the sky to see a ginger headed girl with rockets boots flying in the air. He soon smiled seeing the face of the girl.

The girl landed on the ground and looked over to the transformed Ryu.

Penny: Why do you look so familiar?

Ryu: What? You don't- Oh right I'm transformed. Hold on a sec.

Ryu breathed out as he transformed back into his base. Penny immediately gasped with a massive smile on her face as she started sprinting.

Penny: RYU!!!

Penny continued into a rocket hug straight towards Ryu. Now just 2 years ago, this could have made Ryu fall over. This time however, Ryu caught Penny in his arms with a smile.

Ryu: I'm glad your dad decided to rebuild you.

Penny: OHHH it is such a pleasure to see you again!! We have so many this to catch up on!!

Ryu: I know that for sure. Where are the others?

Penny: Oh Team RWBY and Team JNPR are all on a mission right now!

Ryu: So how's Pyrrha been?

Penny: Oh Pyrrha! She's been getting along splendidly with everyone! Especially Jaune!

Ryu looked to the side before smirking.

Ryu: CALLED IT!!

He turned back to Penny with a look slightly more serious.

Ryu: And... What's going on with my team?

???: Why don't you ask us yourself?

Ryu's ears perked up at the familiar voice. The serious tone, the barely noticeable cockiness, and somewhat mocking tone. He smirked and turned around to see faces he was more than relieved to see.

???2: Did ya miss us?

???3: Did you really need to ask? Of course he did.

Ryu was met with the smiles and smirk and Karma Erica and Azure. The rest of Team RAGE.

Karma: It's Ryu, of course it's both.

Ryu: Yeah. You guys not calling me an idiot every minute was kinda new. It's good to finally be back.

Ryu placed his hand out with the others doing the same.

RAGE: TEAM RAGE!!

They threw their hands up in the air laughing.

Ryu: By the way Azure, I might a stole you're kill.

Azure: Stole my what now?

Ryu: Well you know that Dragon of Pride guy Keith?

Azure: I do...

Ryu: Well after he turned me evil I abandoned the others for months, nearly killed them, had to take a hit from The God Breaker, and finally turned good again, I pretty much payed him back by pretty much erasing ever fiber of his being. So my bad.

Both Karma and Azure were dumbfounded hearing this. Azure took a sharp inhale before exhaling.

Azure: You know what, I'll take what I can get.

Ryu: Wait what?

Karma: To be honest, at least the guys dead.

Ryu: Well at least you took this well. By the way Azure, I heard that you surpassed Aurora?

Azure smirked hearing this.

Azure: You heard right.

Ryu: Which reminds me, how long has it been since we fought?

Azure: Nearing 2 years give or take.

Erica: Alright you two we can settle this later.

Penny: Yes! It would not be a good idea to fight out here!

Karma: Unless you wanna destroy some of mantle.

Ryu: Oh yeah that wouldn't be good.

Azure: Well, let's get you to Ironwood. He should probably know you're here.

Ryu: Yeah. I've got a lot of stuff I'll have to lay down.

Erica: Well grab on. I marked Atlas Academy.

Ryu: Well that's good.

Ryu placed his hand on her shoulder while Karma and Azure did the same. In an instant, they were inside of the headquarters at Atlas academy. The first thing Ryu saw was Ironwood. He looked like he had forgotten to shave and all around looked tired.

Ryu: Sheesh. I know you're pretty busy James but come on, at least give yourself an hour every once in a while to to take care of yourself.

Ironwood turned to see Ryu and was shocked.

Ironwood: Ryu, you're finally here.

Ryu: Yeah. Long time no see.

Ironwood: I can't begin to express how-

Ryu: It wasn't you.

Ironwood: What?

Ryu: I said, it wasn't you. Even though it was your technology, the blame doesn't fall on you.

Ironwood: After all of this, you're not angry?

Ryu: I learned that holding a grudge doesn't help anyone. I may look for payback once in a while, but that's the limit. Plus, the past is the past. And right now, we have to focus on the future.

Team RAGE immediately fell backwards from hearing those words from Ryu. Azure immediately turned Ryu around.

Azure: Who the hell are you and what have you done to our leader?

Karma felt his forehead and hers before realizing something.

Karma: He's not sick.

Erica: How long did it take you to get here?

Ryu: Oh I say one profound thing and suddenly I'm a different guy. Seriously, even though it's been 2 years, have you forgotten that speech I gave before?

Ironwood: Well, it's at least good to know that you aren't upset with me.

Ryu: Of course not. By the way, I know who hacked the Atlas computers.

Ironwood: You do?!

Ryu: It's not anyone here. Ot currently at least. It's someone who's close in Salem's Inner Circle. His name is Arthur Watts.

Ironwood: Arthur? It all makes sense now. Ryu, this is huge news. It's the best I've heard in a long time.

Ryu: No problem. Being turned bad for a while I learned some pretty useful stuff.

Azure: That reminds me, where we're you the last 3 weeks?

Ryu: Training and purging the extra evil in me. Salem doesn't see what I do now.

Erica: You did that all by yourself?

Shojo: He tried but failed.

Karma: Hold up who's that?

Ironwood: What do you mean?

Azure: You don't hear it? There's someone else in the room.

Ryu: And that's about it.

Azure: Wait so we were still rivals in another life?

Erica: You know what, I'm kinda glad I wasn't alive for that. I like myself as I am thank you kindly.

Ironwood: Well, it's a shock to hear that Summer is still technically alive, but not the Summer Maiden anymore. And sealing away Salem. It could possibly be the only way to defeat her.

Ryu: And even after I do it's nice to know that I'll still have one more adventure. Finding my dad'll be a hard job but it'll be worth it to see the old man. So when's everyone coming back?

Azure: 2 Hours.

Ryu: That long? Well then I guess I'll have to find something to occupy myself by then.

Ironwood: How about getting you're equipment up to Atlas standards.

Ryu: Whats wrong with it as it is now?

Azure: You're old weapons might be good, but I doubt their able to do this by theirselves.

Azure pulled out a gun that seemed slightly familiar to Ryu. That's when it sifted as a blade came out before the edge glowed in seemingly plasma. Ryu's jaw dropped in amazement seeing this.

Azure: This, used to be Destinys Ward.

Ryu: Shut the hell up.

Ironwood: It's true.

Ryu: Welp, you're gonna have a lot of weapons to upgrade.

Ironwood: How many exactly?

Erica: A lot is an understatement.

Karma: The man has a whole armory. Good luck with that.

Ryu: I'll start of slow for now.

Ryu grabbed Crescent Nightshade, Crunch Bite, Crimson Busters, Volcanic Destroyer, and what looked to be a-

Karma: Where the hell did you get a BFG9000?!!!

Ryu: Long Story Short, I raided Watts' closet to see what parts I could scrounge up. That needs to be powered up though. Here ya go.

Ryu gave all the weapons to ironwood who was baffled at the amount weapons.

Iron: I thought you said you'd start of slow.

Ryu: This is slow.

Ironwood looked at the serious look on Ryu's face before shaking his head.

Ironwood: Right. We'll get to these right away. Also we'll have a new outfit for you as well.

Ryu: Nice.

James walked out of the room with the weapons. Azure looked at Ryu before speaking.

Azure: The gun isn't even you're strongest weapon beside the Breaker is it?

Ryu: THE God Breaker. And definitely not. I've still got a few things even stronger than that thing.

Erica: I'm scared to think of what this idiot has left in his bag of tricks.

Karma: Hopefully nothing world Shattering.

Shojo: Not world shattering but definitely along those lines.

Karma still had the thought of her loving her best friend in another life.

Karma: 'Definitely not me.'

Ryu: What was that?

Karma: Just thinking to myself.

Ryu: Anyway what where you guys doing the last few year?

Azure: Training our asses off with a certain red head.

Ryu: That reminds me where is Pyrrha?

???: Ryu?

He turned around to see a familiar red head. He smiled at the sight of her.

Ryu: Good to see ya Red.

Pyrrha New Outfit!

Pyrrha: It really is you!

She went up and hugged Ryu as he hugged her back.

Pyrrha: It's great to finally see you again!

Ryu: Same here Pyrrha. By the way, how's the mechanical arm doing for you?

Pyrrha lifted up her left arm showing that it was fully mechanical.

Pyrrha: It took a while, but it feels completely natural now.

Ryu: Pietro is good at what he does. Also I heard you and Jaune were getting along pretty well while I wasn't here.

Ryu winked at her causing Pyrrha to blush.

Pyrrha: O-Oh! Well I guess since what went down at the tower!

Azure: That reminds me what exactly did go down over there?

Karma: Yeah you weren't very talkative about that.

In that instant, Ryu's troll mode activated.

Ryu: OHOHO so you guys didn't find out!

Pyrrha: Ryu don't even think about-

Ryu: Well right before we went up the tower so I could slap around Cinder for killing my sister, revenge felt fucking AMAZING, Pyrrha and Jaune finally had their moment were they kissed.

Pyrrha: RYU!!!

Hearing this caused the rest of Team RAGE to gain smirks of approval.

Azure: It was about damn time!

Karma: And you owe me lunch Erica. Told you Jaune wouldn't have the guts to make the move first.

Erica: You know what, I'll take that.

Pyrrha at first was confused before she began to feel the embarrassment.

Pyrrha: Was I THAT obvious?!

Ryu: Oh we saw through you like glass my red headed friend.

Time Skip!!

Ryu had walked out of a changing room with new gear on.

Azure: Not gonna lie, that suits you.

Karma: Damn.

Erica: I thought black and red was always you're color but adding gold in the mix worked surprisingly well.

Pyrrha: You look absolutely Grand!

Right after he said this, Team RWBY the rest of Team JNPR, Qrow, Aurora, and Aero came into the room. They were all shocked to see Ryu as he had his trademark grin on his face.

Ryu: Guess who's back.

All: RYU!!!
