Ironwood: Fantastic, your both aware. Now are we going to do something about it or should we stay the course and continue to ignore, what's right, in front of us?

They all started hearing beeping.

Ozpin: Come in.

From the doors came Ruby and Ryu.

Ruby: Are we late?

Ozpin: No actually. Your right on time. Thank you Ruby, Ryu. How are you feeling?

Ruby: Ok, I guess. I'd feel better if my bad guy catching record wasn't 0 for 3.

Ryu: Not gonna lie, kinda upset that she got away the moment you got there. I turned my head for one second and she vanished.

Ironwood: I think it's very important to let the both of you know that what you did last night, is exactly what being a Huntsman and and Huntress is all about. You recognized a threat you, took action, and you did it the very best way you could.

Ruby: Thank you sir.

Ryu: I appreciate that when it comes from you General.

Ozpin: Now the general has already informed us of the events that, transpired last night. But now that you have rested we would like to know if you have anything to add.

Glynda was about to speak before Ryu did.

Ryu: She was alone I can tell you that.

Ruby: She was wearing a mask. And she never spoke once, but I know she fought with glass.

Ryu: Her clothing lit up every time she attacked for some reason which really threw me off.

Glynda: Save for the glass, that sounds like the women I fought the night we met Ruby.

Ryu: Wait what?

Ozpin: Oh right, you didn't know. I invited Ruby to attend the academy myself. She was at a dust robbery and handled men very easily actually.

Ryu: And you neglected to tell me this why Rubes?

Ruby: It was a long story.

Ironwood: Embedding dust into clothing is an age old technique. It could've been anyone.

Ruby: Wait, you think this girl is connected to Torchwick and the white fang?

Ryu: I'd put my money on that.

Ozpin: We still lack the required evidence to link the two together.

Ruby: Actually, I think I remember her saying something about a hideout or something. In the south east. Just outside the kingdom.

Ryu got confused before shrugging it off.

Ryu: And to answer another question, she seemed, slightly familiar. They gave off a certain sense of danger that someone else did.

Ozpin: Interesting.

Glynda: I thought you said the intruder never-

Ozpin: Thank you for your cooperation Ruby. You too Ryu. Why don't you both go spend some time with your teams? You both have big days ahead of you.

Ryu: Anything to help.

They both started walking off.

Ozpin: And Miss Rose, please try to be discreet about this matter. You as well Mr. Kaizen.

Ruby: Yes sir.

Ryu did a zipping his lips motion before they both walked out.

Time Skip!

Ryu was at the door to team RAGE's room before steeling his nerves. He opened the door and saw his team waiting right in front of him.

Azure: What happened?!

Karma: And how did you drag Ruby into it?!

Erica: Explain now!

Ryu: Stop barraging me with these damn questions already!! Look just, some interesting things happened last night and Ruby and I both happened to get involved. I did NOT force her to come.

Azure: Ok so what happened?

Ryu: Well~, I told Ozpin I wouldn't say.

Erica: And when has that ever stopped you?

Ryu: Ughh. Your right. Well he didn't say I had to keep it a full secret so listen up.

He closed the door behind him and sat down.

Time Skip!

Ryu: That about sums it up.

They were all silent in the room before Azure places his hand on Ryu's shoulder.

Azure: It might have been a risky move, but I'd be damned if I didn't go in too.

Karma: You handled that pretty well.

Erica: I guess this proves why your the leader. You made the right choice.

Ryu: Is it weird that for the first time in forever I'm kinda pissed at myself?

Karma: Hey that's not like the idiot we know.

Ryu: Screw off.

Azure: There you are. Alright, I think it's about time we opened up some mail.

Azure walked over to the boxes and letters at the desk.

There was a very big box that had the words "To Ryu" written on it.

Ryu: I'll take that thank you.

He grabbed a random knife from his pocket and opened up the box. What came out of it was a black block. That black block turned into a wolf.

???: *Bark*!!

Ryu's face lit up with happiness.

Ryu: GRAY!!

Gray "Best Doggo" Kaizen.

Gray: *Bark* *Panting* *Bark*!!

Gray jumped up to Ryu and started licking his face. Ryu was laughing like crazy and was patting Gray's head as he did it.

Erica: Wait you have a dog?!

Karma: Gray was sent in the mail?!!

Azure: That just might be the dumbest thing I've ever seen anyone do.

Ryu: I missed ya so much buddy!

He started rubbing Gray's stomach which was making him very happy.

Ryu: Who sent you here boy?

Gray rolled back over and dug inside of the box. When he came out he had an envelope in his mouth and placed it in front of Ryu.

Ryu: Alright let's see. Ahem. Dear Ryu

Your Grandfather mother and I had some urgent business to attend to. Since we thought you would be pretty happy to see him, we sent Gray to you. Inside of the box is all the food he would need for the rest of the year. Keep safe and don't do anything to stupid. Only do the things that seem the most badass to do.

Ryu cracked a slight smile.

Ryu: Yeah that's the old man alright.

Karma: Where's the food though?

Ryu grabbed the box and turned it upside down. From it poured about 1000 cans of lunch meat.

Azure: That's about right.

Erica: Well there's only a little problem.

Ryu: Whats that?

Glynda (Over P.A.): Would all first year students please report to that amphitheater.

Erica: We're going on our jobs today.

Ryu: Ok Gray, shirking down boy. Shrink down.

Gray shrunk down into a tiny puppy that could almost fit in Ryu's hand.

Ryu: Good boy!

Erica: What the heck?!

Azure: Don't ask.

Ryu: Alright Gray, your gonna have to be in this backpack for a while, you think you could do that?

Gray hesitated for a quick second tilting his head before nodding his head and smiling. He jumped in the bag and Ryu zipped it up.

Erica: Oh my God he has human expressions.

Azure: That might be the smartest decision.

Karma: If anything happens he's a hunting dog so we could just say he'll be useful.

Erica: So you two aren't against this?

Azure: Hell no. We've known Gray ever since we met Ryu. We're not keeping him inside this place for a week.

Karma: Plus the idiot would always find a way to bring him.

Time Skip!

Ryu: I hate Ozpin for giving that long speech.

Erica: Didn't think he would drag something out for that long.

Azure: Anyway let's just pick a mission.

Karma: I vote search and destroy.

Ryu looked over to were team RWBY was.

Ryu: Hey guys.

Yang: Oh hey.

Ruby: So what mission are you guys gonna go for?

Ryu: Search and destroy. We need to find somewhere in the south east either way, so why not just go for a good one.

Ruby went in first to type in her team name, but it said, "Mission not available to 1st years".

Weiss: Well there goes that.

Ryu: Hold the hell up.

Ryu moved in front of Ruby and clicked search and destroy again. He typed in his team name.

Weiss: Why did you think your team name would work.

Ryu: Call it a hunch.

Yang: If we're not able to go for it than neither are you Ry-

To Team RWBY's surprise it worked.

Blake: What just happened?

Karma: I wanna say something but it would just piss you all off.

Azure: I think I know.

Erica: I have some idea yeah.

Ruby: Well spill it!

Ozpin: It's because I know that a search and destroy mission would be relatively easy for team RAGE.

Ozpin came out of from behind the board making Ryu smirk a bit.

Ryu: I see you know your dealing with the best.

Ozpin: Yes. I've seen the all of your records so of all the first year students, I chose you all.

Erica: Well that saves us a lot of trouble.

Ozpin: And as for you four, I have the distinct feeling that you'll make your ways there no matter what mission you choose.

They all looked down at Ruby. Even Weiss who was only barely taller than Ruby.

Ryu: 'HA!!'

Ozpin: I'm still curious as to how you all found yourselves at the docks last semester.

Azure: *Cough* Blake.

Ozpin: I'm interested to know how you really learned about a hideout in the southeast.

This time the entire team RAGE was confused and looked at Weiss, who turned her head away.

Ozpin: And I certainly wonder how why witnesses reported seeing robots and rose petals in a dance club sometime ago.

They all deadpanned and looked at the sisters.

Ruby: Ummm, well.

Ozpin: I doubt I'll ever find the exact answers I'm looking for.

Ryu: 'You and I both.'

Ozpin: So how about this. Instead of waiting for you 4 to break the rules, why don't we just bend them?

He pushed some buttons on a scroll before it looked like the search and destroy missions fully opened up.

Ryu: 'I have never seen a man that's laid back enough to do that.'

RAGE: 'There has to be a catch.'

Ruby: We won't let you down. Thank you Professor.

Time Skip!

Ryu: Alright this will be tougher than the jobs back at home. But we're the strongest team in Beacon.

Azure: You're not wrong.

Karma: We can handle anything that comes our way.

Erica: I've dealt with a lot of Grimm before so this shouldn't be to hard.

Ryu: Well first off we need to see the Huntsmen or Huntress we're actually shadowing.

???: That would be me.

Ryu Karma and Azure froze when they heard the voice behind him.

Ryu: Oh... Wait what the hell?

Karma: Wait a second.

Azure: Don't you dare tell me.

They all turned to see someone who looked like an older, feminine version of Azure.

Karma: Oh my God Aurora!!

She hugged the female.

Ryu: When the hell did you get here?!

Aurora: Good to see you too Ryu.

He shook his head before hugging her too.

Erica: Umm, I'm lost, who is this?

Azure: Right, you never met. Erica, meat my sister, Aurora.

Aurora: Nice to meet you.

Aurora Kaito.

Aurora: Okay you four, this'll be your first missions as Hunters and Huntresses. Be prepared for anything to happen.

Karma: Yeah.

Erica: Right.

Ryu: Yup.

Azure: Got it.

Aurora: Whats wrong Azure? You don't look to happy to see me.

Azure: If course I'm happy. I'm just not the sentimental type.

Aurora: Alright tough guy.

They were about to board a ship when they all suddenly heard rustling from Ryu bag. Before they even took a step.

Aurora: What was that?

Ryu: Damn it. Alright boy, come out.

From the zipper came out Gray's head. Aurora immediately went over and snatched him from the bag and started petting him.

Aurora: If it was just Gray you wouldn't have had to go through the trouble of hiding him! He has a great sense of smell anyway! He'll be perfect for this!

Time Skip!

The five of them were on the Airship flying towards the far south east sector.

Aurora: We should be arriving there in about an hour. There's a large concentration of Grimm there so we'll have to be on guard as soon as we touch down.

Erica: Hey Ryu.

Ryu: Whats up?

Erica: So is Azure's sister any stronger than he is?

Ryu: Well if I had to say, she's stronger than he is by a long shot. And normally she's stronger than I am, but when I go all out, I have confidence in my skills.

Erica: Really? What's her Semblance?

Ryu: Well, everyone in Azure's family has some kind of Semblance ties to natural powers. She has a pretty cool one.

Aurora: I have a semblance that allows me to summon up and control Lava.

Erica: Oh, sorry to be nosey.

Aurora: It's fine, it's only natural to be curious.

Time Skip yet again!

Aurora: Ok we're here. From this point on, you all need to do exactly what I say. I'm looking at you Ryu.

He rolled his eyes at the remark. After a minute, they all heard the sound of a Beowolf. They all brought out their weapons before Aurora but her hand out.

Aurora: Wait. It'll be useless killing it right now. We need to follow it so we can find the whole pack.

Karma: Do you know how long that could take?

Ryu: Guys.

Azure: Lone Grimm can be isolated from the pack for months.

Ryu: Guys.

Erica: I dunno maybe we should-

Ryu: Guys!

All: What?

He pointed in the direction the Beowolf was an the rest of the pack came out. With it were about 19 or so more Beowolves. He looked at all of them.

Ryu: Next time, just listen to me when I actually say "Guys".

Aurora: Well you lot, there are 5 for each of you, show me whatcha got.

Karma: Gimme a second.

Karma took out an unseen weapon of hers.

Crimson Twilight.

She took out a small blue vile and loaded it into the top of the gun.

Karma: Ice cells should be good this time.

She turned the gun into its sniper mode before shooting three of her 5 Beowolves. She shifted the weapon into assault rifle mode before shooting down the other two. She blow the smoke from the gun and smirked.

Karma: Ryu's not the only one who has different weapons.

Azure: I'm not in the mood to play games.

Without waisting time, he snapped his fingers and fire rained down on the Grimm and disintegrated them.

Erica: Guess I can show off my new trick.

Erica pulled unzipped her backpack and pulled out 2 guns.

Zhan&Zheng

She began shooting down the Grimm one by one before there was one left. She put together the guns and spread them out to make a fan. She threw the fan at the grim slicing its head of. The fan came right back at the and as she grabbed it, she began fanning herself.

Erica: Not too bad for the first time using this.

We shift views over to Ryu who was facing the rest of his Grimm.

Ryu: No weapons, but I think this'll do.

Ryu threw his hand up in the air and swiped it in front of him. Blades of fire shot out and hit every one of the remaining grim disintegrating them.

Ryu: Well that takes care of that.

All of a sudden they heard shaking behind them.

Karma: Uhhhh, Kira, what kind of Grimm we're supposed to be in this area?

Aurora: Well... nothing that should be this big.

Erica: I mean, it could just be some Goliaths passing by right?

Azure: I've seen many Goliaths before, not ONE of them made sounds like that.

Ryu: Turn on the count of three?

All: 1, 2, 3.

They all turned to see a massive Grimm towering above them.

Ryu: ..... Author, might wanna save this for next chapter.
