Glynda: Now girls, all you need to do is place your hands on the walls.

The three nodded. They walked up to the walls and placed their hands on the stones. Their Aura's began to flicker as the entrance faintly glowed.

Glynda: Now Ryu.

Ryu: Got it.

He walked up to the wall and placed his hand on it. Soon it fully shone and began to unlock. It opened revealing a serene forest.

Ryu: Well Azure, you ready for this?

Azure: We've never met a challenge we couldn't beat together.

They fist bumped before walking in.

Glynda: Girls, we have to stay here to reopen the door. Keeping our hands on here for a long period of time could significantly reduce our aura.

Karma: Right.

They removed their hands from the door making it slowly close.

Erica: We have to be on guard. Grimm could be coming anywhere because of that statue.

Karma: How is it even possible for a Grimm to be turned to stone anyway?

Aero: Oh right you all don't know.

Glynda: It appears I need to continue my job as your teacher. How about a little history lesson.

WITH AZURE AND RYU!

Azure: So this is inside a relic Vault Huh? It more, peaceful than I imagined it.

Ryu: Yeah it was kinda like this at Haven too. Just a lot less me freezing Cinder.

Azure: Wait you mean that scrawny Fall Maiden? Is she alive?

Ryu: Probably not. She fell down the edge of the ground and flung into God knows where in there.

Azure: Hey, remember that Koro-Sensei incident?

Ryu: Oh you mean when I froze him with a dust crystal and thought he was... dead.....

A calm wind blew past the two with both of them deadpanning.

Ryu: You know what maybe being trained by Summer was better for me then I thought...

Azure: Still hellbent on revenge?

Ryu: To be honest, I've learned that holding a grudge is pretty useless. I mean I'm still gonna kill her, just for me. Cause if she gets in our way, I'll have to finish her. So best of both worlds I guess.

Azure: Haha, and here I thought you were gonna go psycho next time she showed her face.

Ryu: Oh come on I've killed a few people in my life and I suddenly get expected to loose it when it comes to revenge.

Azure: Ok think about what you just said out loud.

Ryu: Yeah I realized it the moment I said it. But anyway let's just go. And remember to be on guard. Anything could happen in here.

Azure: Yeah. Your right.

The began walking as Ryu made a sudden realization.

Ryu: You know, I just realized I could've destroyed that Grimm Statue.

Azure: Wait a minute EITHER of us could've done that. There would've been no Grimm interference to rebuild.

Ryu was about to say more but his eyes became slitted. He turned around and shot a thunderbolt. At what, he had no idea.

Ryu: WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!!!!

Azure: What are you talking a- HOLY CRAP!!!!

Shojo's eyes were wide seeing what Ryu just shot at.

Shojo: This May be the second most disturbing thing I've ever seen in my life. And that's saying A LOT.

Chupacabra!

Azure: THAT'S DEFINITELY NOT A GRIMM!

Ryu: NO SHIT SHERLOCK!!

The Chupacabra got back up growling and lunged at Ryu who was still in slight disbelief at what he was seeing. Both he and Azure didn't bother moving as it bit down on Ryu's shoulder. There was a moment of silence before it shrieked in pain seeing as it's teeth where broken from biting down onto him.

Ryu: EW EW EW EW EW!! MONSTER SLOBER ON MY JACKET!!!

Azure: Hold on I'm REALLY confused now. How is it that it broke its teeth by bitting YOU?

Shojo: Now for those of you who still don't understand why Ryu is able to take hits like that and not be effected whatsoever like he was some kind of brick wall, let me explain. You see when he first unlocked the Wolf Emperor Form, his aura was altered. Usually aura isn't able to fend off things like getting your arm cut off like Yang, but after he unlocked the transformation, his Aura was in a way, mutated. So instead of the normal kind just acting as a shield while still being hurt, Ryu's Aura is at least 20 times more dense and hard than a normal persons aura. That's the reason why he's unaffected by bullets or arrows hitting him. Unless they were shot with at least 12 times more force then he won't even notice.

Azure: So his aura is basically as hard as a reinforced steel door then?

Ryu: EUGH!! That's putting it- WHY IS ITS SPIT GETTING HARDER?!!

Ryu wasted no more time in throwing a fireball at the monster incinerating it.

Ryu: Ok, Imma say it now, this place is screwed.

Shojo: In what way though?

Ryu: Yes.

They kept walking as more monsters such as the Chupacabra kept running after them. Soon after they were faced with a much bigger threat. Both figuratively-

Ryu: O_O.

Azure: O_O.

Shojo: O_O.

And VERY literally.

GIANT DRAGON!!!

The three were in awe at the size of the massive Dragon. Now for Ryu, he's about the size of a single tooth of that beast.

Ryu: You know, this technically isn't the first time I've seen a Dragon, but this is just ridiculous.

Azure: Those Grimm Dragon's couldn't even match that things head...

Shojo: Is this a bad time to say that you two were half Dragon in another past life?

Ryu: Ok then that's a story for another time.

The Dragon roared sending a shockwave at them.

Ryu: WHY AM I GETTING THE WEIRDEST SENSE OF DEJA VU?!!!

Azure: YOU KNOW THE WORST PART IS ITS BREATH SMELLS LIKE A DUMPSTER!

After it finished roaring Ryu and Azure brought out their weapons.

Azure: Yeah, next time I decide to go in with you, I should remember that there's always a way things can get worse.

Ryu: It's me, what worse would've happened?

Azure shrugged his shoulders as they faced the Dragon. What came as an even bigger surprise was what was on top of its head. Ryu recognized the golden glint and the blue on it as well. The Dragon had a crown on top of its head.

Azure: Uhh, Ryu. If I had to take a guess, is that thing on top of its head-

Ryu: The Relic of Choice.

Azure: Well that makes our job easier. Kill the Dragon and get the crown.

Ryu: For once something that I can get behind. Photon Slicers?

Azure: Haven't dusted that off in a while have we?

They both smirked and entered their respective transformations, Azure with his Blood Lightning Mode, and Ryu with his Wolf Emperor form. They created wires of lightning and flames in their hands before running around. The Dragon tried hitting the two of them with its tail but they were able to jump over it and wrap it with the wires. With its tail trapped they both increased their speed making their way to the body.

Ryu: You know what to do.

Azure: Don't I always?

As soon as the pair got to the arms they switched sides and jumped. Ryu began flying with his Valet Powers and Azure flew using the wind. They zipped through the air wrapping the dragons entire body in the wires. They both flew behind it and landed in the ground with their hands still behind them. They both pulled the wires forward creating a massive explosion. They looked to each other before fist bumping each other.

Ryu: It might've been a while-

Azure But we still have perfect timing.

Shojo: Ok you two of your done with the little bit of bromance, the Dragon is still alive.

They both turned to see that the beast was still standing and roared.

Ryu: ... Not gonna lie, I thought that'd do more.

Azure: Yeah I kinda half assed it myself.

Shojo: You two are just alike.

They both saw the dragon breathe in as Ryu knew exactly what was about to happen.

Ryu: FIRE BREATH INCOMING!!

He stuck his hands into the ground before bringing them back up with lava coming up. Azure acting fast blasted a wave of water cooling it and hardening it. The Dragon let out a stream of fire from its mouth as it hit the wall. Ryu noticed that it began to seep through and soon enough Azure did as well.

Azure: You fire proof?

Ryu: Last time I checked, I think.

Azure shrugged taking this as good enough. The lightning around him began to change into flames as Ryu noticed this.

Ryu: Fire Mode? Haven't seen you use that one in a bit.

Azure: Never have a good occasion or reason to use it. Dragon's breath is an excuse though.

Fang: Fair enough.

They both rushed at the wall as the flames broke through. The two powered their ways through the flames and went dead straight to the dragon. Ryu took out Crescent Nightshade and combined the scythes into one. Azure grabbed Destiny's Ward as its edge glowed from the spinning blades. As soon as the breath was finished they focused their aura's into their weapons and swung their blades forward releasing aura slashes at the beast. Not anticipating this it was hit dead in the chest with some of its scales breaking. Ryu looked at Azure and grabbed his arm spinning him around before launching him full force at the head of the Dragon. Azure immediately switched to his Blood Lightning mode with the blade glowing in the same red lightning.

Azure: God Thunder Art: Crimson Blade!

The Lightning around Destiny's Ward soon extended into a massive sword. This surprised Ryu as Azure had never displayed the amount of Aura control he just did in the time they met.

Azure: TAKE THIS!!

He swung the blade starting from bellow its waist before cutting up to its shoulder. The Dragon was fully separated in half from the attack as Azure landed over the body.

Azure: Phew.

Ryu flashed over to Azure with a smirk.

Ryu: Damn Azure, I don't think I've ever heard you shout anything while you were attacking.

Azure: First time for everything.

The pair walked towards the crown still on the head. While they did that Ryu came to another odd realization.

Ryu: You know Azure, I just realized that even though Erica and Karma are our partners, we haven't actually side by side with them at all. And the two of us both teamed up on multiple occasions.

Azure was about to say something and realized that he was right.

Azure: You're right... What?

Ryu: Yeah it's pretty crazy. About 2 years we've been around each other and not once did we actually done a tag team with each other. It always just been either all 4 of us, you and me, or just one of us fighting.

Azure: Damn. Talk about nuts.

They finally got to the crow as Azure was about to try and grab it but Ryu put his hand out.

Ryu: Hold up, it might be safer for me to grab it. In case it just drains our Aura or some bull like that.

Azure: Good call.

Shojo: Especially since this guys a living battery.

Ryu reached out for the crown slowly. When he touched it, the crown glowed in a bright blue light as it shrunk down to a normal size.

Ryu: Ok, we're good, no drain at all.

He gave the crown to Azure before his eyes glowed as he was at Atlas in the sky.

Ryu: The hell?

He saw Salem flying to Atlas on the biggest Grimm he had ever seen.

WHALE GRIMM

Azure: Ryu? Ryu?

Ryu's eyes stopped glowing as he looked towards Azure in a full panic.

Ryu: WE HAVE TO GET TO ATLAS NOW!!!
