Ryu: Ah! Good to be at 100% again! I'm not gonna lie you've gotten stronger for how long I've been gone. That or it's because your entire team was here.

In front of Ryu was the entirety of team CRDL who were on the ground.

Ryu: One of the two, most likely one of the two. That or both.

Erica: Well I guess Ryu hasn't gotten any weaker in the week he spent in the infirmary. He wasn't able to use his arms until a few days ago. That made it hard for him to do anything over the break.

By the way, this is what happened during the Semester Break.

Flashback!

Ryu: Ughh, this sucks!

Ryu was walking through Vale getting increasingly frustrated.

Ryu: I can't my arms to train like I usually do, and Karma Azure and Erica are out of the forest training and probably killing Grimm.

???: Well looks like you have it bad.

He heard a feminine voice speak and turned around to see Aero.

Ryu: How the hell did you find me?

Aero: Oh please, like someone with your Aura levels could stay under my radar. Especially when your not trying to hide it.

The dual haired teen was about to retort but stopped when thinking about the sound logic.

Ryu: Good point. Anyway what's up?

Aero: Eh, I wasn't really needed by my client right now so I'm basically free until I get notified.

Ryu: Cool. So I'm guessing you wanted to check out Vale. Assuming that you don't really come here a lot.

Aero: Yeah why not? By the way, how did your team react when you told them about me giving you my scroll number?

Ryu: They all flipped before realizing they couldn't do anything about it since it's me.

Aero: Well then, shall we?

She extended her hand out and Ryu took it. They started walking and while they did, Ryu noticed her other arm was bandaged.

Ryu: Hold up, what happened to your arm?

Aero: You did, that's what.

Ryu: Ohhh, I guess I hurt you worse than either of us expected.

Aero: That's an understatement. This is the first time in a long time since I've been injured in a fight.

Ryu: And how longs that?

Aero: 8 years ago.

Ryu: How old are you?

Aero: Usually I don't go and tell people my age, but I'll make an exception for you. I'm 18.

At that moment, Ryu's hubris went down from 200, to 100.

Ryu: Your kidding. And I still got my ass handed to me for the majority of the fight.

She then started snickering.

Aero: Guess your pride is down the drain. Yes, I'm pretty young.

Ryu: Ok so that brings me to my next question, what's your semblance. I can tell that your strength movements weren't altered by some other force for the majority of the fight. So I'm kinda in the dark about that.

Aero: Well since you asked. My semblance is Fury.

Ryu: And that does?

Aero: A lot of things. For one it increases my speed and strength a lot. I'm also able to generate things like arrows. It's strongest when I'm angry. Though I'm able to call on it at will with it not being as powerful.

Ryu: So that's where you got the arrow for your last attack.

Aero: Also, Getsūga Tensho? Kinda lazy.

Ryu: This coming from Miss "Indra's Arrow".

Aero: Hey, if it's badass it works.

Ryu: How does a Japanese name that translates to "Piercing Heaven" not badass.

Aero: Didn't say it wasn't but come on. You could have gone for something a bit more, I dunno, more from a better anime. And if you know Naruto-

Time Skip!

Aero: And if Naruto didn't have Kurama's chakra, Sasuke would molly whop him.

Ryu: Hey if the Uchiha's didn't have any form of Sharingan, than Uzumaki's would be stronger since they naturally have more Chakra. And since he doesn't have Kurama, his own Chakra control would be a hell of a lot better than what it would be originally.

Aero: Wait how did we even start this conversation?

Ryu: And how did we make it last 30 minutes? Well anyway back to that your I was giving you. Over there is the dust shop. I usually visit once in a while to get my stocks back up.

Aero: Ah.

Ryu: Over there is a place I usually grab some ice cream when I feel like it. Actually, I'm thinking I should grab some right now. I'll pay for you if you want.

Aero: I'll never say no to free food.

The two walked over to the stand and while Ryu got a chocolate ice cream cone, Aero got a strawberry parfait. While they were walking she was slurping on the parfait with a straw pleased with the taste.

Ryu: You'd think this was the first time you had a parfait.

Aero: I've never had one this good! It's so sweat and the strawberry taste isn't so overwhelming!

He couldn't help but smile at how she was acting like a normal girl.

Ryu: Over there is the academy. Right now we're having a break so we'll be up and going in about a week.

Aero: When I found you, I thought you would've been training.

Ryu: Yeah well, thanks to our little battle, I won't be able to use my arms for anything major until the break is over. So what I usually do for training is out of the question.

Aero: Then why don't you try something, unusual?

The dual haired teen looked puzzled at the question.

Ryu: Unusual?

Aero: Well think about it, if you say that you won't be able to do what you usually try to do for training, why don't you try another form of training.

Ryu: I would, but I don't know we're to start. I would try to use the semblances I used against you, but that would just tear up my arms again.

Aero: Well then, did you try meditating?

Ryu: Meditating? I never really thought about doing that.

Aero: How did you get such good control over your semblance?

Ryu: I usually just try until I get it right. I mean sure, I focus, but meditating never came to mind for me before. I don't really like staying still for long periods of time.

Aero: Your kidding. Your this powerful but you can't stay still?

Ryu: Oh ha ha. I have my flaws to ya know.

Aero: Alright then, after I finish this, let's go work on that.

Ryu: Will it even help?

Aero: Trust me, it will.

The pair walked over to a forest while Aero was still enjoying her parfait.

Aero: Seriously this is amazing!

Ryu: Yeah I prefer a simple chocolate ice cream cone most of the time. Simple yet, delicious.

After she had finished, they had both gone into the forest.

Aero: Ok I guess we can start now.

She sat down and crossed her legs adopting a Piccolo meditating form without the floating.

Aero: It's really not that hard. Just breath in, and out, before clearing your mind.

Reluctantly, he sat down and followed her instructions.

Ryu: *Inhales* *Exhales*

He cleared his mind of all access thought and only focused on staying still and breathing.

Aero: Good. Now focus simply on your Aura. Imagine it enveloping your entire body.

He did as she said and imagined his Aura around him. It was massive and seemed like it extended 15 feet around them.

Aero: The context makes this so much easier. Now try and make it so that your Aura is more enclosed around you.

While she was saying this it was clear that he was straining himself.

Ryu: What do you think I'm trying to do?

Aero: Wait a second. Try not straining yourself.

Ryu: Alright.

When he stopped straining himself, his Aura went about 60 feat out. Aero's eyes shot opened at this and she looked at the Dual Haired teen.

Aero: Holy- Your Aura just went deeper into the forest!

Ryu: That how much I have. If I wanted I could bring it out further.

Aero: This will be so much more work than I thought it would.

Time Skip!

Aero: Ok try it one more time.

It had been three days since the break started and Ryu was quickly making progress.

Ryu: *Exhale*.

The massive Aura he had began enclosing to about 5 feet around him.

Aero: Good. Now that you've learned how to do that, you may be able to control the range of those AOE semblances.

Ryu: Lets see. Today's the day I can use my arms freely anyway. You might wanna stand back for this.

She took his advice and stepped back by 5 feet.

Ryu: HAAAA!!

He activated the semblances and this time, the Aura goes 3 feet around him instead of the usual 12.

Ryu: WOW, that is progress!

Aero: Just goes to show you have a bit of talent.

Ryu: Well then, now that I've got that on lock, I can get back to my physical training.

Aero: I guess I can stick around for a bit longer. Alright let's see what you got. Let's take it easy for the next few days.

Ryu: Alright.

He deactivated his semblance before he leapt towards Aero.

Back to the present!

Ryu: Hey Professor Goodwitch, if you don't mind, I'd like to fight again.

Glynda: Very well, we have more time. Who do you want your opponent to be?

Ryu: Well I've fought everyone here except one person: Pyrrha, I think it time we both go a round.

Pyrrha: I think so as well.

Azure: Called it.

Karma: Alright place your bets people, who has the best chances of winning? The unstoppable idiot or Jaune's girlfriend.

Jaune: Oh ha ha!

Erica: I'm gonna have to go for Ryu on this one. The fact that he can copy anything is kinda one of the things that make him ridiculously OP.

Azure: Well I'll put my money on Pyrrha. She can control metal so it's gonna be near impossible for him to hit her.

Yang: Yeah, but your forgetting that Ryu can copy that ability.

Nora: Pyrrha's got this one in the bag!

Ruby: I'll need to put my money on Ryu. He has the most versatile ways of fighting.

Ren: Well that's why I'll have to go for Pyrrha, he can't be a master of all of them can he?

Weiss: Pyrrha will beat him. She doesn't just rely on her semblance to dodge attacks.

Blake: I'll go with Ryu on this one. If what we heard from Karma is true than he'll win quickly.

Glynda: Let the fight begin!

Ryu put away Crescent Nightshade and jumped towards Pyrrha. Pyrrha not expecting this leaped to the right leaving her open for a low sweep from Ryu.

Weiss: Darn! He just abandoned using his weapon for the fight!

Blake: He knows that his weapon will never hit Pyrrha, so he just switched to basic hand to hand combat. And seeing how he's probably the best in just straight fighting, it was his best option.

Erica: He may be an idiot, but you have to admit, he's a genius when it comes to combat.

Karma: Agreed.

Ryu grabbed her arm and judo flipped Pyrrha on the ground before backing up. Pyrrha recovered from the attack and threw her spear at Ryu. Without any hesitation, he grabbed the other end of the spear and threw it back at Pyrrha. After he did, he held out his hand, and it started glowing with a red and black lightning. He teleported in front of Pyrrha before uttering one fraise.

Ryu: Megaton, RED LIGHTNING!!

He jabbed Pyrrha in the stomach hard enough to knock her out of the arena, whilst knocking her Aura into the red.

Glynda: That's all. The winner by knockout is Mr Kaizen.

Ryu: And that's how you strip someone of their undefeated title. That was a good fight Pyrrha.

Ryu held his hand out for Pyrrha and she shook it. He pulled her back up and they both shook.

Pyrrha: I'll say this, I don't think I've ever seen anyone use a semblance like that.

Ryu: Sure, semblance.

Erica: I do not believe this.

Azure: Damn it she was close.

Ruby: Awesome!

Jaune: I guess this goes to show you that he's just on another level than us.

Ryu: Your God Damn right I am.

After that, a speaker came on. And the voice that was coming from it was a voice that most certainly shocked most of the students.

Ozpin: May I have your attention please?

Karma: Professor Ozpin? What could he want that's so important he needs to use the loud speaker.

Ozpin: My I please see Mr. Kaizen in my office please?

At that moment, Ryu's expression went from one of victory and triumph, to one of worry and shock.

Karma: Oh God what has the idiot gotten himself into now?

Erica: I don't know, but what I do is that we weren't involved in it.

Azure: So we likely won't get dragged into it.

Ozpin: That will be all.

Ryu without hesitation ran as fast as he could to Ozpin's office. When he got there he abruptly came to a screeching halt.

Ryu: Ummm. So what did you want to talk to me about head master? 'Author what did I do now?'

Ozpin sipped his coffee before motioning Ryu to sit down, which he complied to.

Ozpin: Don't worry, your not in trouble, so you can relax.

Ryu let out a huge sigh of relief.

Ryu: 'Sweet Christ I get to live another day.'

Ozpin: It's come to my attention that you and miss Belladonna were at the shipyard.

Ryu: Yeah. I was.

Ozpin: Did you know exactly how she knew they would be there.

Ryu: No actually. I teleported to her, she was with one of my old friends, and we fought them. Me utterly destroying some White Fang members.

Ozpin: And then fought the Dragon of Wrath.

Ryu: Ohhhh... So you DID see that part.

Ozpin took another sip of his coffee before nodding.

Ozpin: Yes. And I'll tell you this, not many people I've ever seen could go toe to toe with someone like her and come out of it with only two broken arms. Any other man could come out of it scarred, and not just physically. Yet you seem none the worse for wear.

Ryu: Well I am most likely the strongest student at Beacon.

Ozpin: You don't give yourself enough credit. You are much more. I have never seen anyone with a semblance like yours.

Ryu: So then I take it you know about my Perfect Copy semblance?

Ozpin: Yes. But let me ask you, do you know why your eyes emit lightning like that?

Ryu: Believe it or not, I don't have a clue. Stuff like that just starts when I go all out.

Ozpin sipped his coffee yet again.

Ozpin: Hmm. I see. Well then, that's all I wanted to know.

Ryu: Alright then-

Ozpin: But now that I think about it, I do have one last question.

Ryu: Ok, so what's that?

Ozpin: Do you believe in destiny? Something is predetermined. Set in stone.

Ryu smirked at the question.

Ryu: I'm actually glad you asked me that.

Ozpin: Well?

He continued smirking as his eyes flashed.

Ryu: You can say I do. But I also believe in one other kind of destiny.

Ozpin: And that is?

Ryu: The destiny that I make for myself. A kind of destiny where I can carve the path to the point I want to be. I don't think that destiny can't be changed. In fact, I think the opposite. One little thing can lead to a whole other event. Like say this.

He pulled out a pen and let it go. Ozpin's eyes followed the pen. When it dropped, he looked back up to see Ryu was gone. He looked to his right to see a sitting Ryu.

Ryu: That's what I mean. If you kept your eyes on me, you would have been able to see me sit down here. You can easily decide your own fate. And if anyone tried to tell me mine, if I don't like it, I'll try to change it.

Ozpin took yet another sip.

Ozpin: I can see your point. That's an interesting but accurate way to put it. Well I won't keep you any longer than I have.

Ryu: Oh it probably hasn't been that long.

As soon as the words came out of his mouth, the bell rung indicating that classes finished.

Ryu: Oh wow it has. Well good chat Professor! I'll see you around.

Ryu ran out of the room leaving Ozpin with Glynda coming out of the elevator and him going down it.

Glynda: So what happened?

Ozpin: Well, Mr. Kaizen is definitely a free spirit. It seems he would likely carve his own path as he would put it. But he also would seem to be the kind of person that would be willing to do anything if one of his friends got hurt.

Glynda: So is he ready to know?

Ozpin: We should give him more time. He would be more than ready by the time of the Vital Festival.

Time Skip!

Azure: So you didn't get in trouble for a prank you might have pulled?

Ryu: Nope, not yet anyway.

He had a smile as he said this.

Erica: Ryu, what did you do?

Ryu: Should be going of in about 3, 2-

Yang: RYU!!!!!! YOU BASTARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A huge eruption shout was heard in the dorms of team RWBY followed by a mini earthquake.

Azure: There's only a few things you could have done to make Yang mad enough to cause a mini tremor.

Ryu: *Laughing Maniacally*

Karma: That laugh what did you do?!

Ryu went silent as his expression turned slightly serious. Before he could say anything, a Yang who's rage burned brighter than any flames stood in front of the four, her eyes a bright red, and what looked to be glue in part of her hair.

Azure: What did he do?!

Yang: THIS JACKASS SWITCHED MY HAIR CONDITIONER WITH FAST DRYING GLUE AND MY HAIR GOT RIPPED OUT!!!!!

Ryu: This is by far my best prank yet!

Yang: ALSO YOUR LAST WHEN I CATCH YOU!!!!!

She began running after him not ceasing to stop while Ryu laughed like a maniac. They manage to run all around the school.

Yang: YOUR NOT SLITHERING YOU WAY OUT OF THIS ONE!!!!!

Ryu: Wanna bet?!

In one swift motion, Ryu disappeared from her vision. She stopped and looked around and stopped in front of a pink haired girl.

Yang: Have you seen a black and red haired guy with red eyes and blue pupils?!

She rose an eyebrow before shrugging and pointing to the other direction.

Pinky: He went that way.

Yang: Little rat faked me out!

She went the other way while Ryu came from behind the girl.

Ryu: Phew, I don't know who you are but-

He took a look at her face before his eyes widened.

Ryu: Aero?!

Aero: Hi.

He grabbed her and teleported into an open space.

Ryu: What are you doing here at Beacon?! Do you know how dangerous it is for you to be here?!

Aero: Relax. Did you notice anything different?

He took another look at her before noticing her hair style was different and her eyes were both brown.

Ryu: So your basically disguised enough to be able to walk around in plain sight.

Aero: Pretty much yeah. I can just play it off as looking like her, but my hair and eyes are completely different.

Ryu: That might be obvious enough to work. So I assume your enrolled as a student to him whatever academy you came from.

Aero: Yup!

Ryu: You seem a lot more cheery than usual.

Aero: Being around a guy like you can do that.

Ryu: Well your not wrong. So I never introduced you to my teammates. Care to find out?

Aero: Sure, but I have my own to team to.

She pointed at the window revealing three people. Cinder, Mercury and Emerald. At the sight of Cinder, Ryu's pupils became slits.

Aero: Woah, what with your eyes?

Ryu: Huh? Oh, my bad, for some reason, every time that happens it's when I sense an actual... well, threat.

Aero: Then why didn't it happen against me?

Ryu: Well, I mean you were definitely strong, I just, didn't see as that much of a big threat.

Aero: I don't know if I should feel insulted or should blush.

Ryu: Why not both?

She looked at him confused before she actually laughed.

Ryu: Wow, I didn't know you knew how to laugh.

He said that all while she still laughed.

Aero: Geez, I haven't laughed in God knows how long. You're the first person who got me to.

Ryu: I'm a man of my talents. Getting people to laugh is my greatest one.

Aero: Well I gotta get back with my team. I'll see you around.

Ryu: Well then, I guess I'll see ya.

They both parted there separate ways while Ryu teleported back to the others.

Ryu: Hey guys I'm back.

AGE: HE'S IN HERE YANG!!

Ryu: Mother-

Ruby: SWEAR JAR!

Ryu: Later!!
