I'm here to drop another episode/chapter along with the last one!!!

After the opening, the first scene is of random students schmoozing at the dance. Bartholomew Oobleck is shown to be listening intently as Peter Port laughs over some unheard anecdote. Ozpin is standing off to the side with Glynda Goodwitch until General James Ironwood offers his hand for her to dance with him. Jaune Arc approaches Ruby Rose, standing pensively near the refreshments tables.

Jaune: "I see you're hiding at the punch bowl too."

Ruby: "Eh, I just am not in the dancing mood, plus, I'm kind of lost a bet to Allen."

Jaune: "Wait...you guys bet? On what?"

Ruby: "If Blake would come to the dance and well...she did and I owe him a slow dance."

Jaune: "Wow dude smooth I should ask him for a pointer...when he is not putting me on my butt all the time."

Ruby: "Pft, he does tell me you help you train with Pyrrha a bit,"

Jaune: "I'll admit Ruby your boyfriend is skill...but I would hate to fight him if he was bad."

Ruby: "But, he does have a soft side."

Jaune: "That he does. Cheers to the socially awkward."

Ruby giggles, and they clink glasses.

Ruby: "Sorry things didn't work out with Weiss."

Jaune: "Meh, it's fine. Neptune's pretty "cool." I get why she went with him."

Ruby: "What do you mean?"

Jaune: "Well, come on, not many people can pull off blue hair."

Jaune begins to drink his punch.

Ruby: "No, I mean, Weiss came to the dance with Henry."

Jaune chokes in surprise.

Jaune: *turning to Ruby* "Uh, what?"

Ruby: "Yeah, she said Neptune turned her down but she ran into Henry and he asked her out. She came into the room super happy though all things considered."

Jaune looks over at Weiss, talking with a sweet smile toward Henry, who rubs the back of his head. He then turns his attention to Sun Wukong, Blake Belladonna, and Neptune Vasilias as the latter entertains the others with some impressions and other silly faces. Jaune, shown to be observing as well, becomes visibly perturbed.

Jaune: *speaking in a low growl* "Hold my punch."

Jaune hands Ruby his glass, and no sooner than he vanishes from sight does she choose to drink from his cup. As Jaune makes his way across the room, shoving other students aside (some of which were not even in his path). But then he got a kick in the butt.

Janue: "Ow, h-hey." He looked up to see Allen looking down at him. A little tick-off. "Eep."

Allen: "....*sigh*...get up." Allen helps Jaune up. "You know Jaune, your denses is a blessing and a curse."

Jaune: "What...?"

Allen: *Look up at Jaune* "I was gonna let you solve things independently, but I'll help you a little." *nod head over to Pyrrha, who walks glumly up the stairs. "Go talk to her... I'm sure she would like to talk to her leader." He pushed Jaune towards the stairs. "*sigh...whelp back to my date." Allen walks over to Ruby.

Ruby: "I see your back."

Allen: "Yeah, sorry about that. Had to make sure everything was going smoothly with my team. So, how are you feeling?"

Ruby: "Still hate these heels."

Allen: "Don't worry, all you have to do is wear it for tonight and you won't have to wear them again."

Ruby: "Ugh, good. Please don't set up any future date where I have to wear these."

Allen: "*giggle* Don't worry, I won't. This suit is very uncomfortable for me."

Ruby: "Thanks. So, why do I get the feeling you helped set up Weiss and Henry to come to this dance together."

Allen: "Mhmmm, I don't know what you're talking about?" Allen smiles and looks off to the side.

Ruby: "Ok, sure."

Allen: "Let's not worry about that...." Allen reached his hand out with one arm behind his back. "May I have this dance."

Ruby: *blush* "Yes, yes you can."

Sudden fits of laughter and giggles draw their attention.

Pyrrha: "Jaune?"

Jaune is now shown wearing a white dress with a blue ribbon.

Allen: "HA! Call IT!"

Jaune: "Eh, a promise is a promise."

Pyrrha: *smiling... then giggling... then laughing aloud* "Jaune! You didn't have to!"

Jaune: "Hey, an Arc never goes back on his word." Extending his hand to Pyrrha. "Now do you wanna stand there and laugh at me, or do you wanna dance?"

Pyrrha: *Offering her own hand* "I would love to dance." Jaune pulls her to him and sweeps her away. "Oh!"

Nora: *flailing excitedly* "Ren. This... is... happening!"

Ren: *Looking at the audience* "Wait, what "is happening"?"

Nora grabs Ren and drags him onto the dance floor with Pyrrha and Jaune. JNPR performs a short but elaborately choreographed dance, culminating in Jaune spinning Pyrrha.

Pyrrha: "I had no idea you were a dancer."

Jaune: "Yeah, well, these things tend to happen when you grow up with seven sisters."

Jaune dips Pyrrha and then spins her away.

Henry and Weiss watch them dance.

Henry: *smile* "Good job...Jaune...Pyrrha."

Weiss: "I guess everything work out in the end, huh?"

Henry: "Yeah." *nudge Weiss and tilt his head to Silva and Emelie giggling with Emelie with a big smile on her face, and Silva blushing and smiling.

Weiss: "You think those two have a thing for each other?"

Henry: "Well given I've been around those two a lot...I think Silva is coming to terms with it, more and more. Emelie it's going to take a bit but deep down I think she does."

Weiss: "Who would have guessed those two would look so cute together."

Henry: "Yeah, I could also say the same thing for our team leaders." The two look over to Ruby and Allen on the dance floor, dancing to a slow song.

We go over to Ruby and Allen dancing.

Ruby: "Allen can I ask you a question."

Allen: "Sure."

Ruby: "Well Ozpin tells me the battlefield isn't going to be there forever...how do you view the whole battlefield thing?"

Allen: "Ozpin once said something similar to me off on the side one day when i was training. And he's right."

Ruby: "Huh?"

Allen: "Well some people believe the battlefield is their life, but the thing is the battlefield is always there never changing. It's been there for countless generations and will continue to be. I believe it's better to achieve as much as you can and then pass on your legacy to the next generation. Aka; their kids."

Ruby blush.

Allen: "For example, look at me and my family. To this day it lives strong through me, and hopefully, one day, I hope to pass my legacy on to my own set of kids. One with fewer hardships...." Ruby smiled and put her head on his chest, surprising him a bit.

Ruby: "That would be nice." Allen smiled.

The two enjoyed more of the dance and let the atmosphere take them; for once, both felt at peace, and it was just the two of them. And a bit, the two separate a bit.

Allen: "Want to go for a walk."

Ruby: "I would like that."

They head for the exit, walk out of the dance, and into the night air. As they get outside, they watch a figure running along the rooftops. They nod at each other and then move to pursue.

Allen: 'I have a bad feeling about this.'

The two follow the person to the tower, and outside the building, they see different Atlas guards knockout.

Allen: 'Why am I not surprised these guys couldn't do anything right.'

Ruby pulls out her Scroll, dialing for her weapon locker, which crashes into the courtyard and opens to reveal Crescent Rose. Allen does the same for his weapon.

In the elevator making its way to the top.

Allen: "Let's be careful. Who knows how many there are and skills."

Ruby: "Right."

Allen: 'Hopefully Tate isn't here...the last thing I need really.' The elevator doors opened.

Ruby: "Hello?" She stumbles due to her high-heeled shoes. But Allen grabs her to help her. She smiles and turns back forward. "Is anyone there? Hello?"

Cinder smirks confidently, then rises from her hiding place and steps toward Ruby and Allen.

Allen: 'Already getting a bad feeling from this person...they look female....'

Ruby: "Excuse me? You know, it's not a masquerade party, so why don't you take off that-!"

Cinder produces a container of dust from her belt, expelling a cloud that glows. Condensing into glass shards flying at Ruby and Allen, who spin their weapon to block the attacks. A battle ensues as Ruby then opens fire.

Cinder blocks each shot with her hand as parts of the outfit glow. She once again summons a pair of blades. Allen split his bow and charged at Cinder; the two clashed blades; Cinder went for a slash to the side of his body, where he flipped his body to body. She had an ooh look on her face. Allen went for a kick, to which she dodged it and scraped her hair.

Allen: 'Tch.'

Allen and Cinder jump back, her eyes and outfit glowing again as she combines the blades into a bow and fires three arrows. As Allen saw this, his eyes glowed as well, and he quickly made three arrows of the same stuff and fired them at Cinder arrow, causing a slight explosion.

Ruby stumbles back from the resulting explosion; Allen covers his face a bit but keeps his eyes forward to see what appears out of the smoke. But their fight is interrupted by the appearance of Ironwood on the nearby elevator. Ruby is visibly glad to see him; she turns back to Allen and the Cinder, but when the smoke clears, Cinder is gone.

Allen: "Well...shit!"

We cut back to Weiss and Henry dancing.

Weiss: "You know when I think about it, our leaders do look great together. Now if only they had the guts to confess to one another." Henry chuckled.

Henry: 'If only she knew.'

THAT THE CHAPTER!! This was a very short chapter of course! We got to hear Allen talk a bit about his hope for the future, Jaune wearing a dress (lol), a few small things getting set up with some characters. Heh! And then we have Allen and Ruby crossing blade with Cinder...

(I'm not looking forward to Volume 3 let that be known.)

There isn't much to say with this chapter given it was so short and I hope you all enjoy this little we got. Let's see how things pan with Allen and them...next episode.
