Howdy, Howdy! I'm BACK!!!!!!!!!!! Finally! I didn't mean to leave this book for so long. But covid came out of around nowhere and I was extremely exhausted. But now I'm back and here to drop off another chapter/episode for this book!

The opening ends with the view of a glum Ruby resting her head on her hand and staring into the distance before she is startled by someone slamming their palms on the table she is at.

Weiss: *smiling* "I need you to pick a tablecloth." Slides two squares over to Ruby, both seeming to be similar shades of white

Ruby: *confused* "Aren't they both the same?"

Weiss: *sighs in frustration* "I don't even know why I asked!"

Allen: "The second one." They turned and saw Team ASHE walking in. "The misty blue white gives the party a certain more entangled dancing experience." Weiss smiled at him.

Weiss: "Why thank you Allen, I didn't know you knew this type of stuff."

Allen: "I studied a bit while I was traveling. Mainly the fact I was given the order to take out some fancy people in Atlas and I had to learn a bit about it...and all the eavesdropping I had to do."

Weiss walks out of the scene as Yang comes in carrying a massive sound speaker on her shoulder, which bounces her sister and the table she's moping on again to jump in the air when she drops it on the ground.

Yang: *brushing her hands as she approaches Ruby* "So, have you picked out a dress yet?"

Ruby: "What's the point? Who cares about the dance if Blake isn't going? Plus, I don't think I would look good in a dress."

Allen: "Awww Rubes, I thought I would get to see you in a beautiful dress. And I brought a tux and all."

Emelie: "I'm honestly surprised it wasn't that hard to find Allen a tux he honestly knew his management."

Allen: "I might hate wearing them, but I understand there is a point and time you have to wear them."

Henry: "Silva was the hard part."

Silva: "Look I'm just not a dress person."

Henry: "Oh we know...we know."

Silva: "Can it mister prince!"

Allen and Emelie: "Pft!"

Yang: "Oh, and don't worry; Blakes going." Allen went over to her and handed her a laser pointer. "Thank you." Looks over off-screen, exasperated, "Weiss! I thought we agreed: No doilies!"

Weiss: *walks up to Yang, pointing in her face* "If I don't get doilies, you don't get fog machines!"

Allen: "Hey, Rubes wants to make a silly bet."

Ruby: "Um sure?"

Allen: "If Yang can get Blake to go to the dance, you owe me a special slow dance."

Ruby: "Eh!? B-But I can't dance."

Allen: "Ah, ah it's ok. But that only if Yang gets Blake to the dance."

Ruby: *Raise an eyebrow* "And if she doesn't."

Allen: "I'll wear a dress."

All three other members of Team ASHE split out their drinks when they heard that.

Ruby: *Begin to laugh* "You...You in a dress...*Laughing*."

Allen: "So do we have ourselves a deal?"

Ruby: *smile* "Deal." They shook hands on it.

They all were interrupted by the sound of doors opening.

Neptune: *walking in with Sun* "Your dance is gonna have fog machines?"

Weiss: *stepping up to him, becoming sweet* "We were thinking about it...."

Allen: 'Neptune 3, Jaune 0.'

Neptune: "That's pretty cool."

Sun: *coming into the scene, acting suave to Weiss' ire* "You ladies all excited for dress-up?"

Ruby: "Pfft... Yeah, right!"

Yang: "Laugh all you want. I'll be turning heads tomorrow night!"

Henry: "I know who head Ruby going to be turning tomorrow." Emelie chuckled but elbowed Henry's arm.

Weiss: *addressing Sun and Neptune* "What are you two wearing?"

Sun: "Uuhhh... this?" Gestures to his current shirtless outfit.

Neptune: *Steps up and holds a hand in front of his friend's face.* "Ignore him for he knows not what he says."

Silva: "Clearly."

Sun: *Knocks Neptune's hand away* "Hey, I may have moved to Mistral, but I grew up in Vacuo. It's not exactly a shirt-and-tie kind of place."

Allen: "No...no it's not. They are also known for their pickpocketing skills."

Yang: *Mirroring Ruby's and Weiss' looks of being told something extremely obvious* "Yeah, we noticed."

Sun: Rubbing the back of his head, preparing to ask: "Soooo... What does Blake think of all this? She is still being all, y'know... Blake-y?"

Weiss: "Obviously." Turns and crosses her arms in disapproval.

Silva: "There will never be a moment where she isn't in the current state of things."

Allen: "Unless you take out her ex."

Sun: "She has an ex?"

Silva: "Ehhhh, somewhat, we don't talk about him."

Henry: "She's going to kill us for talking about her."

Silva: "Maybe it will get her out of her little mood."

Emelie: "Doubt it."

Ruby: "I still can't think of a way to change her mind."

Yang: "Guys." Everyone looks at her as she starts walking out. "Trust me; Blake will be at the dance tomorrow."

A little bit later. Allen and Ruby are outside.

Allen: "Look, I know this seems weird and all considering well...after all that went on there, but I want to ask you to the dance." Allen pulls out a rose behind him, surprising Ruby a bit.

Ruby: *smile* "I will gladly...my King."

Allen: *blush* "I will never get you used to calling me that."

Ruby: *Blush* "I'll never get to you calling me your rose." Both of them rub the back of their head. "I still can't wait to see you in a dress, heheh."

Allen: "You're going to sadly disappoint Rosey."

Ruby: "Do you know what Yang has planned for how she might get Blake to go?"

Allen: "Mhmmm maybe, but can't say." He chuckled.

Ruby: *pout* "No fair."

Allen: "Cute. I guess we should plan how we soon make an announcement that we are dating. I think everyone is slowly catching on but I think telling them would be better."

Ruby: "Yeah, it would be funny seeing their reaction when they learn we've been dating for a while."

Allen: "I'm expecting Yang wanting to kill me, Weiss...I don't know. And Blake would probably be surprised that we kept it hidden this long. Given how you are."

Ruby: "Yeah, heheh."

Allen: "I guess I'll see you tomorrow?"

Ruby: "Yeah..." Ruby and Allen share a kiss before separating. "I'll see you...my King." They both smile.

A little bit later, we see Allen and Henry in the room, talking.

Allen: "Bro I'm telling you just go and ask. What's the worst that can happen?"

Henry: "Come on, bro you know she's been looking at Neptune, he got the looks and stuff. Look what I got...nothing but a warrior and soldier type mentally. And the worse that I could get turndown hardcore like Jaune."

Allen: "Jaune is a special case, ok. I'm hoping Pyrrha says something or hell Nora would say something to him. The only reason I haven't straight up kicked Jaune into a room and locked him and Pyrrha in it is because for one I don't think he would get what he has to say, and two...I want to see the idiot in a dress." *smirk*

Henry: "Sometimes...you are a devil."

Allen: "I get that a lot, heheh, thanks."

Henry: "That wasn't a compliment." *facepalm*.

Allen: "Look, a great wise person once said to me, rejection is a part of any man's life. If you can't accept it and move past rejection, at least let it fuel you to become a better man. Rejection makes a smart man stronger."

Henry: "Where the hell did you get that from? How do you know that?"

Allen: "Don't worry about it. Just bro...give it a chance ok."

Henry: "...*sigh*...Fine... I'll trust you." Henry smiles at Allen.

Allen: "Good. Here." He went to the desk and grabbed the flower on it. "I heard she likes these types of flowers."

Henry: "When did you get so good with talking to women and stuff?"

Allen: "Practice young one..." Henry raises an eyebrow toward Allen. "I asked Coco before they went on that mission a few weeks ago."

Henry: "Oh, what was her advice?"

Allen: "It was helpful...and questionable...." Allen, blushing, looked off to the side.

Henry: "I'm...curious?"

Allen: "I'll tell you, later. Now go get your date!!" Allen pushes Henry out of the room.

Henry sighs but smiles and makes his way to see if he can find Weiss. It took a while of walking outside, but Henry nearly bumped into Weiss as he turned a random corner. He grabs her waist to stop her from falling.

Henry: "Oh Weiss, I was looking for you."

Weiss: "Oh, Henry...I was kind of looking for you...." Weiss looked off to the side, rubbing her arm. Henry raises an eyebrow at this.

Henry: "Well, I'll let you go first what you wanted to speak to me about?"

Weiss: "I...*sigh* I want to apologize first."

Henry: "Huh? Why?"

Weiss: "I... I'll be honest, I want to ask you to the dance." Henry was shocked a bit. "But...you weren't my first choice. I went to ask Neptune...and kind of got...turned down."

Henry: "Oh...I mean I don't blame you for going to ask that dude. I mean compared to the two of us he clearly is the better choice. He got the looks, the charm, and probably the skills too. Me, heh, I'm just some guy who is decent at fighting and that's it."

Weiss: "That's not true!" Henry was taken aback by this. "Henry, you got so much more than just fighting. You are kind-hearted, you watch out for your team, you also want the best for them. Heck, you even put up with me as much crap I give you and the others...but you didn't treat me like...well, a complete ass...but I do admit I did deserve it."

Henry: 'Don't say nothing, Henry....'

Weiss: "I'm trying to say you're an amazing and awesome person, Henry. Please don't sell yourself short...to be honest, now I'm thinking about... I'm more of an idiot for not coming to you as my first choice...you are a great guy...." Weiss looks down and kicks her feet.

Henry: *blush a bit, but calm down.* He then smiles at her. "I think you're a good person Weiss, you're making improvement to show just how much of a good person you really are. I see it, and we all see it. Your still young, we all still young we going make dumb chocies and stuff. But, you and all of us are showing we are trying to change and improve."

Weiss: "Heh, you're starting a bit like Allen there."

Henry: "I do hang out with him a lot. Now Weiss Schnee, I would like to ask you something." He pulled the flower from behind him. "Would you accompany this soldier to the dance?" He smiled at her.

Weiss gasped but then smiled and took the flower.

Weiss: "I would love too."

Henry: 'YAHOO!! She said yes!!'

Weiss: "I guess I'll see you later."

Henry: "Yeah...heheh."

Weiss: "I should start listening to your leader a bit more, as the hard truth comes off sometimes."

Henry: "Oh?"

Weiss: "Your leader Allen was talking to us when he came over to come up with a plan with Yang about to get Blake to come to the dance and he told me I should listen more to my actual feeling a lot more than just going off what I want. I guess in the end he was right again."

Henry: *smile* 'So you end up helping me without telling me... you're really trying to make things up to us...Allen, heh.'

Somewhere else in the school, we see Emelie walking around.

Emelie: 'I can't wait for everyone to see what I'm wearing oooh I know people think I'm cute. Heheh!' Emelie came to a stop. 'I do hope we all can do this more often in the future...*sigh*...things are slowly getting better...I just hope it lasts...hmm?'

Emelie notices a classroom door crack. She went over to it and saw Blake and Yang talking. Emelie stayed in the doorway, hidden. She listened to their conversation about Yang looking for a mom, when their other mom disappeared, and how she found something about her and took Ruby out with her to look for her mom. How their uncle saved them in the nick of time.

How Yang's stubbornness nearly got Ruby and herself killed. Yang tells Blake she just needs to slow down...and how she is still looking for mom....

Emelie was leaning against the wall and heard all of this. She begins to walk away, and as she walks away, she looks down at the ground.

Emelie: 'Raven....*sigh*...Yang...How would you react...if I could tell you I know your mom all too well and know where she could be...how would you view me...' Emelie continued the walk in silence.

We go to the next day of the dance, and we see Emelie and Silva on their way to the dance talking.

Emelie: "I see you couldn't build up the courage to ask our leader out to the dance heheh."

Silva: "H-Hey! I got cold feet ok! *sigh*...but at least I get to go with my best girl, you Emelie."

Emelie: "Awww thank you! Heheh! I can't dance but I'll show you how this little giant got some moves!"

Silva chuckled at Emelie. They soon reach the party and see Yang in a dress at the podium.

Yang: "Awww you two look stunning."

Silva: "I have to admit you pulled off that dress very well."

Yang: "Thanks girl, and so have you. I'll let you two enjoy the party."

We cut to Allen walking to the party, messing with his cuff wrist.

Allen: "And now I remember why I don't like these things, ugh. How anyone can fight in a suit or a tux is beyond me."

Ruby: "It looks like I'm not the only one uncomfortable."

Allen: "Yeah, tux really isn't my...thing...." Allen turned around and saw Ruby in her red dress with black lace, belt, and pumps

Ruby: *blush* "how...how do I look."

Allen: "Wow...beautiful...."

Ruby: "You're just saying that...." She wobbles and nearly falls over, and Allen catches her in time, making Ruby blush.

Allen: "No...I really mean that...you look stunning."

Ruby: "Wow...thanks...you look great...yourself." The two stood there awkwardly a bit.

Allen: "We should head inside."

Ruby: "R-Right."

Yang: "Well, if it isn't the two people I was expecting. I see you got the guts to ask my sister out." Allen rubs the back of his head. "I won't tease you guys until later enjoy the dance." As Allen and they walk past, Yang grabs his arm and whispers in his ear, "By the way, I got you for the slow dance. Leave it to me." She pushed him away.

Allen and Ruby walk around a bit, and they see Penny, who waves at them, and they wave back.

Ruby: "Can I just say how much I hate wearing these things. How Weiss can fight in these things is beyond me."

Allen: "That I can agree on but I guess that gives her her own charm when it comes to fighting." After a bit. "I'm going to go grab us something and something to drink, I'll see you soon."

Ruby: "Alright, I'll go talk to the girls."

Inside the ballroom, streamers are hung through glass chandeliers, pink and blue balloons are everywhere, and students in dark suits and bright dresses are stepping with each other to the music between the white-clothed tables. Blake is spun around by Yang before they curtsey to one another, and Sun comes up and takes his date's hands as Yang gestures for him to do so. She goes to hang with Ruby and Weiss (in a similar white dress as Yang's) in the back of the room, watching Blake laugh and enjoy herself before smiling at her team.

Yang: "I told you she would come."

Weiss: "Mission accomplished."

Ruby: *Turning to her teammates* "Soooo, what do we do now?"

Yang: "Just have fun! You two got yourself some dates to enjoy." Weiss and Ruby blush. "I'm happy for both of you, have fun." Yang walks away, and so does Weiss.

Ruby: "W-Wait hang on. W-Woah." She nearly falls over but grabs the railing. "Really should have asked Allen to stay near me. Stupid lady stilts!"

Ozpin: "Not enjoying yourself?"

Ruby: *Surprised to see the headmaster step up by her side, but shakes her head and laughs* "Oh, no, everything's fine! I'm just not much of a fancy pantsy... a dancey girl."

Ozpin: "Well, you can't spend your whole life on the battlefield, even if you may want to."

Ruby: *Crossing her arms, looking annoyed* "Yeah, that lesson's been floating around a lot lately."

Ozpin: *Staring out at the dancing couples* "If you think about it, fighting and dancing aren't so different. Two partners interlocked, although one wrong move on the ballroom merely leads to a swollen foot. I think your friend Allen knows that very well."

Ruby: *Looking down at her own feet* "Or a twisted ankle. And...you do got a point...he has told me he views some fights as a dance...make me wonder what else has happened in his past ...."

Ozpin: "It's not every day that friends are able to come together like this. Time has a way of testing our bonds, but it's nights like these that can help keep them stronger than ever. Nights like these are ones we'll never forget."

Ruby smiles at the words of wisdom.

Emelie: "I'm sure you enjoyed that one dance you got planned."

Ruby: "Eep!! Emelie dear oum you scared me. How long have you been standing there?"

Emelie: "Not long I only came over to see how you're faring since currently Allen and Henry are trying to find Jaune and a camera for some reason." Ruby pft off to the side. "So how do you feel about that bet you lost?"

Ruby: "Bet...ooooh right." She smiled.

Emelie: *smile* "You don't look down that you lost, heheh."

Ruby: "Nope not really...I mean Allen is cute after all. He tries his best...and that's what matters."

Ruby smiles at Allen beside Henry. They're both talking to Silva, who says something, and she blushes, and they chuckle to a smirk. They turn their head at the sound of the doors opening. Yang is back behind the podium and smiles at the new arrivals.

Yang: "You guys are just in time!"

Mercury: *As he and Emerald step in with their ballroom best on.* "Wouldn't miss it for the world."

And that the chapter!!! It seems A lot things went down! We have Allen and Henry getting a date!

Emelie seem to have some history Raven it seem!?! HMMMMMM!!!!!???

The dances is finally underway!!!

And some interesting people show up....oh boy.

I will say a few things did get change over from the original plan. For one Allen and Ruby of course wasn't suppose to be together at this point and it fact Allen was suppose to make a bet with Ruby she would go to the dance with him if Blake goes. And well given how I change things in Vol 1...that also got change.

That the only thing that got change. Henry and Weiss wasn't suppose to come along at all!!! In fact Henry was suppose to hear the same thing Jaune hear! And also walk away! But I decided after what I did in the OVA, I had to change that too and make it somewhat different. So that middle section is entirely new between Weiss and Henry. That wasn't plan at all for a while. (You all can thank Enderman534 for that.) He would call my ass on this bullshit and I wasn't having it! SO HAH!!!
