WELL LOOK WHO BACK TO DROP another update to this story!! Yeah, sorry it took so long with dropping a chapter for this story. IRL has been keeping me busy, along with other fics, heheh.

But I'm here to drop at least one chapter for this story. Slowly but surely we are finishing up Vol 2 half way there!!!

I do want to say before I forget. Yes, I know about all the drama and crap that has been coming out of Rooster Teeth. And to say I'm surprised. I'm not; I mean the sign was there it just people just notice it. But, I know you all didn't come here to hear me rant about that. But I just have to make it clear, I will still watch and support RWBY. And I will continue make fanfic about it. That will not change. And I will watch vol 9 when it drops. (Still need to watch vol 8 to be fair given I need plan some stuff out for it.) ANYWAY!

ON TO THE CHAPTER!!

The opening cuts to a shot of Beacon Academy the next day following the Beacon Dance, then cuts to inside Ozpin's office, with General James Ironwood and Glynda Goodwitch keeping the headmaster company.

Ironwood: "They were here..." Raising his voice. "Ozpin, they were here!"

Ironwood angrily slams his fist against Ozpin's desk.

Glynda: "We're very much aware of that! Thank you, James."

Ironwood: "Fantastic! You're aware! Now are we going to do something about it or should we just stay the course and continue to ignore what's right in front of us?!"

An alert sound plays, signifying that someone has arrived on the elevator.

Ozpin: "Come in."

Ruby Rose and Allen King steps out and into the room.

Ruby: "Sorry it took so long. Someone accidentally hit all the buttons on the elevator on the way up here." Pausing before quickly explaining herself. "It wasn't me."

Allen: "We both know that was a lie. You just incriminate yourself?!"

Ruby: "Shh you!"

Ozpin: "Thank you for coming, Ruby and Allen. How are you two feeling?"

Allen: "I'm alright, this isn't a first that for sure. But the way she was doing things does raise some eyebrows."

Ruby: "Okay, I guess. I'd feel better if my bad-guy-catching record wasn't O-for-three."

Everyone stares silently.

Ruby: "Okay, so that's the tone we're going for, got it."

Allen: "I think it was funny, Rubes."

Ruby: "Thank you."

Ironwood: "Ruby and Allen, I feel it's appropriate to let you both know that I think what you two did last night is exactly what being a Huntress and Huntsmen is all about. You two recognized a threat. You took action. And you did the very best you could."

Ruby: "Thank you, sir."

Allen: "No problem. Still sucks. I let her get away."

Ozpin: "Now, the general here has already informed us of the events that... transpired last night, but now that you've rested, we were wondering if either you had anything to add."

Glynda: "Was anyone else with her? Did she look familiar to you at all?"

Ruby: "I... I don't know. She was wearing a mask, and she never said anything to us. But I know she fought with glass. I don't think that was her Semblance, though. Her clothing lit up whenever she attacked."

Glynda: "Save for the glass, that sounds like the woman I fought the night we met Ruby."

Ironwood: "Embedding Dust into clothing is an age-old technique. It could have been anyone."

Allen: "Her semblance is heat base." Everyone looked at him a little surprised.

Ironwood: "How can you be so sure?"

Allen: "I examine her semblance." He summoned a glass like arrow that they used yesterday. "My semblance allows me to copy someone else's semblance and use it on my bow. My hand felt a little hot after using it, and since I still had a good feel for it I messed around it last night. Something I learned from the semblance is that with the right concentration she can form different things such as a bow and arrow, and even a sword."

Allen: "It can be used on dirt and as well as dust in the air. She heated the dust in the air to form the stuff. Before I went back to my room last night I tried it on the ground and it heated the ground a bit around me. Cause me some burns, not going to lie."

Ruby: "Allen!!"

Allen: "What?! I'm sorry I had to see how it works?"

Ruby: "*sigh*...please be careful with certain semblances you copy. Please."

Allen: "...I will Rubes...I will. But anyway the semblance is strong if used in the right hand. She clearly has had a lot of training with it. She was smart and cunning, that lady knew what she was doing? It was clear she was trying to set something up. It also takes into account she didn't want to open her mouth at all, she had some training in this before. There is a high chance she might be working with the devil arms."

Ironwood: "That's impossible! The devil's arms is considered a myth!"

Allen: "If things I have gathered is true; then it's most likely two more of them."

Ozpin: "And if I may ask? How do you know this information?"

Allen realized he might have slipped up a bit, but didn't show it.

Allen: "I remember one day begin out in the town and remember hearing different people talk about dressing in black like the one Ruby and I ran into. I overheard them talking about how the devil's arms were seen with her. I could be dead wrong but given how dust shops have been getting robbed a lot more I would put some money into that."

Glynda: "Interesting."

Ruby: "Wait. You think this girl is connected to Torchwick and the White Fang?"

Ozpin: "It's possible. But we still lack the required evidence to link the two together."

Ruby: "Actually, I... I think I remember her saying something about a hideout, or something, in the southeast. Just outside the Kingdom." Allen eyes pop open and side eyes Ruby.

Ozpin: "Interesting."

Glynda: "I thought you said the intruder never—"

Ozpin: "Thank you for your cooperation, Ruby and Allen. Why don't you go and spend some time with your team? You have a big day ahead of you."

Ruby: *leaving* "Any time."

Allen: "No problem."

Ozpin: "And Miss Rose and Mister King, please try and be ... discreet about this matter."

Ruby & Allen: "Yes sir."

The elevator closed and on the way down Allen leaned against the wall while Ruby let out a sigh of relief. Allen chuckled.

Allen: "Was feeling the pressure being around all those powerful people."

Ruby: "Yes! I don't get how you weren't nervous."

Allen: "Eh, when you deal with Grimm that could snap you two with ease, being in a room with some people asking questions is the least of my worries."

Ruby: "Was...was that a dark joke?"

Allen: "Maybe."

Ruby: "We really got work on your joking skills."

Allen: "It was an attempt."

Ruby: "Pft, hardly."

The door to Team ASHE dorm room opens, revealing Henry, Silva, and Emelie inside. The three zoom over to the person in the door, who is revealed to be Allen.

Henry: "So how did it go?"

Emelie: "You're not in trouble?!"

Silva: "What happened?"

Allen: "I'll explain."

The scene cuts back to Ozpin's office.

Ironwood: "Well there we have it. We send as many troops as we can to the southeast, find out exactly what's going on, and eradicate any forces that stand in our way. But the mere fact the devil arms could be working with them...is alarming."

Glynda: *growls in frustration* "Why must your answer to everything involve a triumphant display of military bravado!? You treat every situation like it's a contest of measuring di—!"

Ozpin: "Glynda!"

Glynda: "Well, he does."

Ozpin: "She's right. As much as I too would love to end this situation once and for all, we must remember that this may go beyond Vale. Beyond Beacon. And if this truly is part of some master plan for which we know not the final move, we mustn't be so bold. Nor can we risk the spread of panic."

Ironwood: "I have served you faithfully for years... but if you mean to tell me that your plan is to really hold the defenses, and wait—!"

Ozpin: *abruptly stands from his chair* "It is not! You're a general, James. So tell me, when you prepare to go to war, which do you send in first? The flag bearers, or the scouts?"

Ironwood: "......What did you have in mind?"

Ozpin: "You'll see I think the first year can get some experience."

Ironwood: "*sigh* I wonder about that boy."

Glynda: "You mean Allen?"

Ironwood: "Yes, how that boy was able to get that information is clear. He has some skills, not many skills Huntsman and Huntress can do that. But he was also calm and posie while in here. Most young Huntsman would feel nervous. That boy wasn't. What was the boy's full name again?"

Ozpin: "Allen King, he's the leader of Team ASHE."

Ironwood: "Hmmm, that boy has been hiding something, the fact on how he explains everything just raises questions."

We go back to TEAM ASHE with Allen explaining how things went down at the office.

Henry: "Well, at least our leader is safe."

Emelie: "You think they question Allen some more?"

Silva: "Why?"

Emelie: "Well from the sound of things Allen clearly could be hiding more information and to a General of a military force. That could be big."

Allen: "The chances are slim to none. Headmaster Ozpin isn't going to let Ironwood get too close to me. I...I just have that feeling."

Glynda: *Over the intercom* "Would all first-year students please report to the amphitheater?"

Allen: "That means us, let's get going."

Team ASHE make their way to the auditorium with other students. They see both teams RWBY and JNPR. Allen notices Ruby has a big pack on but doesn't think too much about it.

Glynda: 'Quiet! Quiet please. Professor Ozpin would like to share a few words before we begin."

Ozpin: "Today we stand together, united. Mistral. Atlas. Vacuo. Vale. The four Kingdoms of Remnant. On this day, nearly eighty years ago, the largest war in recorded history came to an end. It was a war of ignorance, of greed, and of oppression. A war that was about much more than where borders fell or who traded with whom, but about the very idea of individualism itself. We fought for countless reasons, one of which being the destruction of all forms of art and self-expression. And as you are well aware, that was something many could not stand for. As a result, those who opposed this tyranny began naming their children after one of the core aspects of art itself: color. It was their way to demonstrate that not only would they refuse to tolerate this oppression, but neither were the generations to come. And it was a trend that is held to this very day. We encourage individuality, expressionism, and unity through diversity. As I have said, today we stand together, united. But this bond cannot exist without effort. Which is why today, while the rest of the world celebrates peace, Huntsmen and Huntresses will work to uphold it. As first year students, you will be tasked with shadowing a professional Huntsman or Huntress on a mission. Some of you may be taken out of the Kingdom for several days. Others may work within the walls for the rest of the week. But no matter which path you choose, remember to be safe, remember your training, and remember to do your very best."

Ozpin steps away as the students all begin to file out of the amphitheater. Team ASHE watches as different teams go up to the board and take different missions. Allen was sitting on the stage with his team standing around him.

Allen: "Hmmm, we'll see what missions are available. It would be tactful after what happened to us to keep a low profile. But, we are also going have find out more information about Roman and the others."

Henry: "Too bad we can't team up with other Teams."

Allen: "True."

Team ASHE sees team RWBY take a mission in the southeast region.

Silva: "Well there goes that mission."

Allen: "That's fine, I'm sure there are penalties for other missions. We just have to choose the right one given our limited access."

Ozpin then walked over to them.

Ozpin: "Well if it isn't Team ASHE I notice you all haven't picked a mission yet. Which is good, I actually have a mission I would like you all to check out." Take a sip from his coffee.

Team ASHE were surprised by this. Allen gave Ozpin a confused look.

Allen: "What?"

Ozpin: "I ask this because I know you are one of the best talents on it. A little girl who has a strong semblance that is able to wipe out mobs of Grimm in an instant. A soldier from Mistal and has placed in the top 3 only really behind Miss Nikos herself. A faunus who was once a commander of the White Fang, and of course their leader. A skillful tactician and can fight with some of the best alone. This team is far surpassed of the feat of a normal team. I want you all to check what's going on deep in the mountains of Mount Glenn."

Emelie: "Wait? I thought team RWBY was doing a mission around Mount Glenn?"

Ozpin: "There checking around the base of the mountain, I want you all to go into the actual heart of it, into the forest and mountain dirt parts of the mountain itself."

Allen: *It then click to Allen in his head* "You want to send me and my team on a suicide mission?" The team looks at him confused?

Henry: "What are you talking about?"

Allen: "Deep up in the actual mountain of Mount Glenn is crawling with Grimm hordes and is considered one of the most dangerous places ever! Not many Huntsman and Huntress go there for a mission. That place is crawling with smart and powerful Grimm. That place is where many Huntsmen have been killed."

Ozpin: *sips his coffee and then smile at Allen and his team* "Is it too much for your team?"

Allen: *hop down* "....I have faith in my team, but I will not take a mission they want to take. I might be the leader but their safety is more important to me than anything."

Silva: "Allen....*ahem* don't worry we got this!"

Henry: "Yeah! We are not pushovers!!"

Emelie: "Yeah! Team ASHE for the win."

Ozpin smiles and assigns them the mission. We see team ASHE making their way to the bullheads that will take off. They see team RWBY getting done talking with team CFVY. Allen sees Coco and sees she has her hand down and biting her lip. Allen knows that look all too well. As Coco walks past Allen he fist pumps her back, surprising her and Coco turns her head a bit.

Allen: "I might not know what went down on that mission. But, I know that look on your face all too well. A look of feeling like a failure. But keep your head up, you live on another day to learn from this and most importantly...your team came back alive. If anything, know that you kept your team alive." Allen kept looking forward and didn't say anything else. He walked away.

Team ASHE soon goes over to team RWBY.

Yang: "So what mission did you all take? I'm sure it's not as cool as ours."

Allen: "We took a mission that we will go deep into the mountain of Mount Glenn." Team RWBY looked shocked at team ASHE.

Weiss: "That can't be right!?!"

Blake: "Isn't that one of the most dangerous places ever!?!"

Allen: "Yep, but I have faith in my team and so does Ozpin." Allen looks at his team who smile back at him.

Ruby then walks up to Allen, he looks into Ruby eyes after a few seconds she gives him a tight hug in front of the others causing Allen to blush. The other snicker.

Ruby: "Please...be careful."

Allen: *hug back* "I will, I promise. You should also be careful out there."

Ruby: "I will...I promise."

The two of them stood there hugging, and after hearing an AHEM from Yang and Silva. The two of them broke the hug and blush a bit. Weiss walks over to Henry and slaps the back of his head.

Henry: "H-Hey!?!"

Weiss: "Watch Allen and yourself out there. I don't want to see my leader sad, alright."

Henry: "Awww what are you not going to me? *chuckled*"

Weiss: *blush and look away* "Maybe. Plus, aren't you supposed to be some great soldier?" She smiled at him.

Henry: *smile* "Heheh, don't worry I'll make sure we are careful."

Silva and Emelie watch the two males members of their team talking to Weiss and Ruby. Emelie had a raised eyebrow.

Emelie: "Is it just me? Or did something happen that we don't know of?"

Silva: "I think the guys on the team might have a special someone."

Emelie: "I ship it like Fed-ex!" Silva chuckled and head-pat Emelie who giggled.

As they all part ways Ruby and Allen have one more talk.

Allen: "Hey Ruby, once I get back let's go out on a date."

Ruby: *blush* "Is that a promise mister promise keeper."

Allen: "You know it. Once we both come back, let's just take a day for ourselves. It's been a while."

Ruby: "Deal." Ruby chuckled.

The two go there to be respected teams. We see team ASHE, looking at the Huntsmen they're shadowing. He was big and buff, a little rugged with a five o'clock shave. He has an axe over his shoulder. The huntsmen look at his team,

??? (Male Huntsman): "Hmph, let's get going, you runts."

Allen: "And this is going suck."

AND that the chapters folks!

Oh what you thought we would be going with Team RWBY and for there little mission!!? Heh!?! Nope! We all know how I work, I don't play by the rules and follow the script to a T, HEH!

So Team ASHE have to do there own mission, with there own (OC) Huntsmen and handle a mission by Ozpin himself. Man I wonder how this mission is going go *sips tea*. I'm not answering that no matter you give me, lol!

I don't have much to say given it was a fairly straight forward episode, and to be honest I'm running low on fums at the time I'm dropping this. (I drop this super late again at night my time. Which was a terrible idea).
