A/N: here's chapter 3 for ya guys

A few days later 

Y/N and Coco were walking towards Professor Goodwitch's class, they were talking and laughing. They had told their friends of their relationship two days ago and everyone but Weiss was happy for them. Y/N sighed as he thought about things, Coco picked up on the tone of his sigh and looked at him curiously. "What's the matter babe"? She asked as Y/N turned to her and answered "It's Weiss, she's been giving both of us the cold shoulder and disgusted looks every once in a while". Coco looked concerned for Y/N, the actions of Weiss over the last couple of days had really affected him. 

Professor Goodwitch's Class 

"That will end today's lecture now would anybody like a match today"? Professor Goodwitch asked as she looked around the classroom. Y/N raised his hand Professor Goodwitch turned to him and quickly grew nervous "Ah mister L/N and who would you like to face today". Y/N said nothing and pointed a Weiss. The classroom gasped at his choice of opponent, Weiss just scoffed and replied "I refuse". She then turned her head away from Y/N. 

Y/N then smiled and said "Well I guess it's true what they say about you Schnees you're all a bunch of cowards, okay now let's see who my new opponent shall be". Weiss snapped her head around with a very angry expression "Okay Y/N I'll fight you"! She yelled before storming off to get her gear. Y/N smirked and turned to a rather confused Coco "Worked like a charm". He said as he stood up and went to grab his gear. 

Beacon Arena: Stands 

Ruby, Blake and Yang sat next to Coco and Velvet as they waited for Weiss and Y/N to walk into the arena. "Why would Y/N say that about Weiss's family, I thought they were friends"? Ruby said almost crying. Coco looked at Ruby sad and replied "I don't know Ruby but Weiss has been rather cold to Y/N lately". "A few days ago I saw her crying in our dorm and she shouted 'it's not fair' and cried in her pillow". Ruby said as everyone looked at her in confusion but turned back to  the arena. 

Beacon Arena

Y/N and Weiss entered to the arena holding their weapons. Professor Goodwitch started the fight  as Weiss used her ice glyph and launched ice shards at Y/N putting him on the defensive immediately. She used a combination of fire, ice and earth dust to make sure Y/N kept a distance. 

Y/N kept ducking and diving to avoid Weiss's attacks. He dodged all of her attacks and slotted a fire red gem, with a black outline of what looked like a humanoid scarab beetle, into one of the slots on his sword and shouted "Flare Fusion"! Fire then surrounded him and once the flames died down Y/N appeared looking a lot different. 

"Now Weiss let's turn up the heat". Y/N rushed Weiss and hit her with a series of quick punches and kicks draining her aura. Y/N kicked Weiss across the arena. "Told you that you Schnees are cowards, I show you some of my strength and your tail goes between your legs". Y/N said smirking, Weiss got up and looked as if she was ready to kill Y/N. "How dare you talk ill of my family I will take you down"! Weiss yelled as she activated her time glyph so she was slightly faster than Y/N and rushed him. 

The fight between Y/N and Weiss lasted another 5 minutes the two separated after another clash of swords. Y/N had reverted back to his normal form. Both Y/N and Weiss were panting and were tied as they both 30% of their aura left. Weiss smiled at Y/N and he smiled back this caused Weiss to turn away. She then regained her composure and said "Amusing as this is I have a fight to win". She then readied herself into her battle stance, Y/N shook his head and said "Funny I was gonna say the same thing Princess". Y/N then slotted another gem into his sword, this one was pitch black with a white Panther outline on it. "Dark Fusion"! Y/N yelled as dark energy engulfed him and as it faded he looked a little evil. 

Y/N blitzed Weiss, she just managed to hold on but Y/N caught Weiss with a roundhouse kick depleting her aura to 20% making him win the match. Y/N defused and walked up to Weiss breathing heavily, he held his hand out to help her up, Weiss accepted as Y/N pulled her up. 

"That was without a doubt the best fight I've ever had thank you Weiss". Y/N said as he bowed to Weiss but very ungraciously as he was very tired. Weiss laughed a little and replied "Thank you Y/N, I have something to tell you but not here I'll tell you after we've both showered". Y/N nodded and they both headed to the showers. 

Evening: Team RWBY's dorm

Weiss came out of the shower her usual clothes, her team looked at Weiss with confusion. Weiss tilted her head unit Yang spoke up saying "Weiss can I ask, why were you giving Y/N and Coco the  cold shoulder"? 

Weiss looked at the ground in sadness and replied in an unusual sad tone "Because I was jealous of Coco, I loved Y/N I think I still love him. Whenever I saw the two together my heart would break a little each time. To try and make myself happy I would picture myself in those situations with Y/N but it only made the problem worse". Weiss started crying but was then envolved in a group hug by Ruby, Blake and Yang. "We're here to help you Weiss that's what team mates and more importantly friends do for each other". Ruby said as Yang and Blake nodded.

Evening: Beacon Courtyard 

Y/N sat under his favourite tree in the courtyard, he looked towards the orange sky as he reflected on what had happened over this week. He heard a familiar clunking of boots and started to smile he closed his eyes lightly and said. "Hello Princess". "Hello Y/N". Weiss replied as Y/N stood up to face her, Weiss blushed and looked away but regained her composure and said "The thing I wanted to tell you is that I over heard you when you confessed to Coco and it broke my heart because I loved you, I  think deep down I still love you, whenever I saw you with Coco it hurt me and I would try and picture myself with you but that just hurt me even more and I treated you and Coco unfairly because of my own jealousy. Can you forgive me"? Weiss was crying uncontrollably at this point. 

Y/N stood there stunned at what Weiss said. Before Y/N could move someone wrapped their arms around the waist of Weiss. Weiss flinched and looked ready to turn around and pummel the person who had grabbed her but soon a familiar chuckle was heard, Weiss turned around to see Coco hugging her from behind. 

"Coco what are you doing, let go of me". Weiss said as she struggled to get out of Coco's grip, she looked at Y/N and said "Y/N tell your girlfriend to let go of me". Coco whispered in Weiss's ear "I'm okay with sharing him you know". Coco smirked as Weiss looked at her like she was crazy, Coco let go of her Weiss then shouting "You're what"!
