A/N: here's chapter 5 for a guys sorry for not updating in a while been busy with other stories. 

A couple weeks later 

Weiss had slowly gotten over her attraction to Y/N and began to fell something for Neptune. Blake had also begun to develop feelings for Sun, the four friends would often hang out with each other laughing together and generally having a good time. Y/N and Coco's relationship had become stronger, the two would hang out and when they talked they would also flirt with each other. "Would Teams RWBY and CVFY and Y/N please come to Professor Ozpin's office, that's Teams RWBY and CVFY and Y/N to Professor Ozpin's office please thank you"! The Beacon intercom system announced.

Professor Ozpin's Office 

When the two teams plus Y/N entered Ozpin's office Weiss spoke up saying "I apologise for whatever Yang has done Professor". "I didn't do anything"! Yang yelled turning away from Weiss. Professor Ozpin chuckled before saying "You're not in trouble miss Xiao Long, in fact I am sending you nine on a mission together, it will give Team RWBY and Y/N some experience when fighting Grimm, plus also giving Team CVFY some experience with a more leadership type role". Team CVFY nodded but before everyone left Ruby asked "Professor where are we going for this mission"? "Miss Rose you will be going to border of Vacuo, there is a small village out there that requires our help. It is your job to remove the Grimm from the area and restore peace to the village". Ruby nodded as her and the rest of her team left along with Team CFVY and Y/N 

Border Village 

Once the group departed from the bullhead and talked to the Village Elder they began to walk around the forest. "So from what the Village Elder said we are dealing with some Ursa and possibly an Ursi Major so we need to be careful in how we approach this". Coco said with a serious, almost commanding, tone everyone else nodded and carefully searched the forest for the Grimm. 

After a few minutes of walking through the forest, the sounds of trees falling became louder and louder until a pack of four Ursa came bursting through the trees. Team RWBY readied their weapons and charged at the Ursa and took them out with little effort. "Really that was it"? Yang said in a disappointing tone. "No that was just the first, it's about to get a lot worse from here". Y/N said with a very serious expression as everyone looked at him curiously. "What do you mean babe"? Coco asked him with concern on her face, Y/N then replied with no change in his expression "There are more Grimm coming towards us and there's so many". Everyone's expression changed into a mixed of shock and concern. 

"Air Fusion"! Y/N yelled as he slotted a pink gem, with a black outline with what looked like a humanoid hummingbird, into his sword. A massive gust of air blasted threw the forest bending the tops of the trees. Once the wind settled down Y/N looked different. 

Everyone stared at Y/N with awe before quickly snapping out of their daze because of a loud growl when everyone looked around they saw that they were surrounded by seven packs of beowulfs, five alpha beowulfs, four more Ursa and two Ursi Major. "Damn this isn't good we need a plan now"! Fox said yelling the now at end of his sentence. Before anyone could speak Y/N flew forward and in the blink of an eye was already in front of an Alpha Beowulf, Y/N the  punched the Alpha before following it up with a powerful roundhouse kick killing the Beowulf. 

Everyone stared at Y/N with shock before he flew back. "Alright everyone listen, stay with your teams and back up your partners when they need help. We work as a unit not individuals, remember your training and your limits. Now let's take these Grimm down"! Coco yelled as she morphed her grey metal briefcase into a minigun and began to fire into the mass of Grimm. 

"Damn it there's just no end to them"! Yang yelled as she punched and killed another Beowulf. The two team group had been fighting for nearly three hours with the Grimm, as soon as someone kill one Grimm two more would take their place. "Guys I think it would be best if we retreated"! Velevt yelled but Coco quickly shouted back in reply "I wish we could Vel but we're kinda surrounded here, plus if we leave that village would be completely killed"! Velvet was shocked at Coco yelling at her but nodded as tear began to brim in her eyes. She then flinched as Y/N, who had de fused, placed his hand on her head saying "You're right Velvet we do need to retreat, I'll make a hole and you and everyone else ran back find a bullhead and head back to Beacon". "What about you Y/N, how will you get out"? Velvet asked in reply as tears began to fall down her cheek. "I'm not sure yet but I need to make sure that everyone is safe first before I think about me getting out alive". 

Y/N walked back into the fight cracking his knuckles. "Guys I have an idea". Everyone turned towards Y/N looking at him as he continued "I'm going to create a hole and you all are going to run and find a bullhead to get back to Beacon in". "What about you Y/N how will you get out"? Yatsuhashi asked as he retracted his sword from an Alpha Beowulf. "I don't know I haven't thought about that yet". Y/N said as Coco quickly replied "No absolutely not Y/N, I will not have you sacrificing yourself just so we can leave". Y/N smiled to himself as he thought 'Damn she is stubborn but that's what I love about her '. Y/N walked up to Coco and gave her a quick kiss on the lips. "I love you Coco but let me do this, besides I don't plan on dying just yet I've got too much left to do". Coco smiled knowing that he was just as stubborn as she was "Very well Y/N but make sure you come back or I'll never forgive you". Coco said as she looked at Y/N with a serious expression.

Y/N nodded before slotting a dark blue gem, with a black outline of a humanoid dolphin, and the same pink gem he used earlier. "Storm fusion"! Y/N yelled as the wind began to pick up again but this time heavy rain fell on the forest. Once the weather died down after a couple of minutes Y/N stood their looking very different. 

Y/N then rushed the Grimm on one side and created an opening for everyone else to run. Once everyone was out of sight Y/N stood in the middle of the circle of Grimm that was getting smaller and smaller with each passing second. 'If these bastards want a fight I'll give them one ' Y/N thought as he got into his battle stance.
