[Volume 0~chapter 4: fate encounter]

It has been 1 week since the assassination of general falconclaw, and the atlesian council gave the position of general to lieutenant james ironwood.
He was promoted to general of the atlesian military the 3 days after the assassination.
His first order of business as general was to put together a strike team of powerful huntsman and huntresses, along with atlesian knights.
The mission was simple.
The strike team where to find the assassin and kill him.

The atlesian military believe that his semblance is string based.
Most of the battle between the assassin and the general was corrupted so all they really know is that the assassin killed the general.
The assassin was seen boarding a bullhead going to the kingdom of mistral, so they believe he is still there.
They have a general area of where he could be, so they'll focus they're search there.
Amongst the huntsman on the strike force are-

qrow branwen.

summer rose.

glynda goodwitch.

And Patty Peach.

There where about 150 huntsman in total and 250 atlesian knights going on this mission, and it was believed to be set in stone the mission would succeed.

They where greatly mistaken.

They found him 2 1/2 hours ago relaxing in a string hammock in the middle of the forest.
The battle began with all the atlesian knights attacking as support for the huntsman.
The current results?
5 atlesian knights are remaining, with 4 of them damaged to the point that they can't fight anymore.
And of all 150 huntsman that went into the mission, 10 are left, and the number is still decreasing.
While shirou?
The only wound on him is a cut on his chest that isn't hindering him at all.

Shirou ran at a random huntress and swung a sword made of string at her.
The huntress blocked with her own sword, but shirou broke her sword with pure pressure and cut her down.
Bullets where being shot at him from his side by the remaining atlesian knight, so he dodged them.
While dodging, he created throwing star's out of string and threw them at the atlesian knight.
The stars hit it's gun and it exploded, taking off the knights right arm, damaging it's camera, damaging it's right side, and damaging it's right thigh.
Qrow ran at shirou with his scythe and swung it down at him.
Shirou blocked with his sword of string, and got pushed back by the pressure.
A giant rock was thrown at shirou, but shirou unsheathed his knife and cut through the rock like it was butter.

Qrow aimed his scythe at shirou and fired his shotgun part of his scythe at the boy.
Shirou raised his arm in a X guard as his arms where covered in string.
The shotgun blast hit his string covered arms and made him slide back slightly.
Under his mask, shirou was smiling in excitement.
Summers chain scythe's where thrown at shirou, and he jumped up to dodge.
He landed on all 4's, letting his wolf tails be shown as well as his ears.
"I gotta say, this is the most fun I've had in a while" said shirou.
The huntsman who where remaining all looked at him shocked.
They never got a estimated age of the assassin.
And with his skills, he was believed by most of the huntsman to be at least 25 years old, with a Small body frame.
But his voice sounded so young.
"How old are you?" Asked qrow, as he let his guard down ever so slightly.
Shirou stood up strait and ripped off the lower half of his mask, leaving a pair of mirrored goggles to hide his identity.
"I'm 10, old man" said shirou before lightning started to spark around himself.

"WHO ARE YOU CALLING OLD PIPSQUEAK?!?!?!" yelled qrow while pointing at shirou.
"Hmm, let's see... you got the soul patch, the slightly greying hair, and your wearing old man shoe's. I think I have the right to call you old man, old man" said shirou as his silver eyes began glowing behind his goggles.

[Raven: HA! You got told out by a ten year old.
Qrow: RAVEN! SHUT UP!
Me, radio_vidar, your beloved writer guy: BOTH OF YOU STOP BREAKING THE 4TH AND 5TH WALL AND GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WORKSPACE!!!!!]

"Why you little..." said qrow as he charged at shirou.
"Qrow wait!" Exclaimed summer.
But it was too late.
I rushed forward towards qrow as a speed that I was only a blur.
I right hooked him, then left hooked him, followed by a 2 handed uppercut.
Qrow flew back and dropped his scythe.
I caught his scythe and twirled it before throwing it at 2 if the remaining huntsman.
The blade of the scythe pierced one in the right shoulder, while the handle of the scythe hit the second one in the head and he collapsed, knocked out.

Summers silver eyes glowed as she ran at me, even faster than I am.
Her scythe blades did a transformation and became swords.
She swung one down at me, which I blocked with my knife.
She thrust her second sword forward, but I gripped the blade tightly and held it in place.
Shirou noticed summers eyes.
"Your eye's......... they're so familiar" mumbled shirou, but summer heard him.

Shirou let go of summers blade, jumped up, and kicked her dead center in the chest as he backflipped away.
Summer skidded across the ground for about 10 feet.
Shirou landed and sheathed his knife.
He let his string take the form of twin katana's.
"I got a question for you miss" said shirou while looking at summer directly.
"What is it?" Asked summer.
Shirou charged forward at lightning fast speeds.
Summer used her semblance and her silver eyed power to go just as fast as shirou.
They met in the middle and proceeded a quick speed clash of blades.
"What are we?" Asked shirou as he placed his feet firmly into the ground and delivered a counter attack, knocking summer off balance.

While summer was off balance, I tried to slam my blades down on her.
She regained her balance mid-air and raised her blades, blocking my attack.
"We're living beings with souls" answered summer as she pushed me back.
"Not like that, I mean...." said shirou as he removed his goggles to show his glowing silver eyes, just like summers.
"...what are we?" Asked shirou.
Summers eyes widen as she grits her teeth slightly.
"If you won't answer then....." said shirou as he dashed towards summer.
Summer dashed at him aswell.
To summer and shirou, this was a even match.
but to the huntsman still conscious to witness the battle, which was only qrow, glynda, and peach, it looked like a battle between 2 legendary gods, or legendary heroes you read about in stories.
Like Hercules, king Arthur, percious, iskandar, and Gilgamesh.

Shirou and summer clashed blades at such quick speeds that they appeared to have afterimages.
Summers swords where knocked out of her hand and thrown to the side, and shirou's string swords deformed.
They continued in hand to hand combat.
Punch after punch, block after block, they seemed evenly matched.
Summer raised up her right leg and tried a hammer kick.
Shirou dodged by jumping to the right.
While mid-air, a golden glyph appeared under his right foot.
He kicked off of it, and then one appeared under his left foot.
He kicked off of it as well, ending up mid-air behind summer.
A third glyph appeared under his right foot, which he kicked off of, propelling him towards summers back with his right fist cocked back.

Summer looked over her left shoulder, only to be punched in the face, causing her to stumble back.
Continuing with the force of his attack, shirou landed on his left foot and threw a roundhouse right kick at summer.
Summer raised her arms in a X guard, blocking the kick, but being knocked back 50 feet and she fell over.
Shirou charged forward, with lightning sparking around him.
As Summer got up, she grabbed one of her swords.
Shirou was about to attack summer, when she stood up abruptly and thrust her sword forward, stabbing shirou threw the gut.
Shirou grabbed onto summers shoulders, shocking her.
He headbutted her, as lightning started to spark around them.
"I won't let you get away. I'm ending this!" Said shirou as the lightning got thicker.
A thunderbolt struck down from the sky and hit the ground directly next to them.
"BLASTED TREE!!!" shirou yelled as the thunderbolt that struck turned into a Small ball of green energy.
It then exploded into a giant tree of green electricity that engulfed shirou and summer.

The force of the attack knocked out peach and glynda.
Qrow was able to Stay conscious long enough to see the beauty of the attack.
The beauty being the rainbow array of flower petals shooting through the area, before passing out.
