Ruby pov]
It's been about a week since the large Grimm invasion, Ever since team PRDE has been on edge, everyone of those for have been training nonstop Vexon, Crimson, Vector, heck even Ash. What ever happened has them on edge and by the looks there starting to pull a Blake. My team and I would go out and search for them but to no luck. The only time we know one of them is around is by all the yelling and glowing in the woods at night. After 2 days three of them came back, but Vexon was still out there. The only time he would stop by was when he needed something, other then that he would stay in the emerald forest attracting and slaying Grimm, then one night it all stoped there was no yelling, no glowing, not even the howl of a Beowulf was heard. The next morning we had Glynda's class first so we were able to wake up real quickly. There were the usual fights. Juane vs Cardin, which Juane won, Yang and Blake vs Nora and Ren with Yang as the winner, then finally Cardin's team vs Phyrra. She had purposely drawn out the fight to make them think they were winning but in the end Phyrra still won.
Glynda:"Ms. Nikos is the winner. Now we have time for one more match." The room wasn't paying attention at the time so no one raised there hand, that is until a boy from mistral raised his. "Mercury is it? Who would you like to fight."
Mercury:"I would like to fight..." He said looking around the room before finally locking eyes with Phyrra. "Her."
Glynda:"I'm sorry but ms.Nikos has already fought..."
Phyrra:"No no it's alright." Mercury makes his way down to the arena and gets ready to battle until someone jumps down from the ceiling in a all to familiar blue blazer.
Vexon:"Why don't we make things interesting and do a 3v3."
Mercury:"Who are you?"
Vexon:"Non of your concern, Glynda we doing this or not." He said. His voice sounded like a war generals, commanding with no remorse at all. Glynda just nods being a little frightened by the new
Vexon. "Good, Crimson get down here your in this to." Crimson just nods and gets his equipment from his locker. Meanwhile Mercury just motions for two girls to come down and join him. By the time they reach the arena Crimson has returned with his armor and his weapon and is in the arena next to the others.
Glynda:"Phyrra Nikos, Crimson springs, and Vexon Andreas. Vs Mercury, Titania, and Emerald. In 3...2...1...Begin!" She says Mercury goes to fight Phyrra while Crimson and Titania fight on the other side of the arena, meanwhile Vexon is just standing in the middle looking at Emerald waiting for her to try something.
Weiss:"What does he think he's doing?"
Ruby:"He's doing a thing that's for sure."
Blake:"Well whatever he plans on doing he might want to do it quick, they only got a certain amount of time for this fight.
Vexon:"Emerald, Before we begin, i would like you to promise me something."
Emerald:"And what would that be?" She asked pulling out her weapons.
Vexon:"That you're going to fight me with the intent to kill, and I expect nothing less." He says before taking of his blazer leaving him in his bloodstained tank top. "And If you don't, then I'll see if one of your friends has what it takes." He finishes getting Into his fighting stance. Emerald just smirks before charging at him.
Emerald:"With pleasure." She goes to slice at him with her weapon but he just grabs her weapon with his hand, Emerald is surprised by this but simply goes for a kick to his face that he lazily dodges. He then creates a small blue ki blast in his hand and knocks Emerald back before appearing in front of her.
Vexon:"You failed." He states as he thrusts the ki sphere into her stomach creating a explosion. When the smoke clears everyone notices a small crater with an unconscious emerald in it. Her aura was barely in the red but that blast was able to go through it like a knife through butter. Everyone's attention went over to Crimson, who was fighting off Titania who would get inside his head by flirting with him, the most embarrassing part was that it was working. Suddenly Titania became almost as large as the arena and slammed Crimson into a wall effectively bringing down his Aura into the red before turning around to face Vexon. She goes back down to normal size and gets into a fighting stance.
Titania;"Whats wrong big boy you worried about hitting a girl?"
Vexon:"Not at all, I'm not even worried that you put a member of my team into a wall."
Titania:"Well didn't you knock out Emerald and put her in a crater?"
Vexon:"Fair point." He says dropping his guard. "Here I'll let you take the first punch. But do me a favor and have the intent to kill me. No holding back."
Titania:"You want an all out brawl fine, I'll give you one." She said as she became half the size of the arena and clapped her hands together on Vexon. At that point she thought she won, that is until he pushed her hands apart with no effort at all. He then flys up and taunts her getting her to attack him but he simply just takes a single step to the right or left every time.
Vexon:"You know what they say..." He says before disappearing. She looks around for him but doesn't seem to be able to find him. Suddenly she starts to freak out as she gets lifted off the ground and into the air. "The harder they fall!" He yells before eventually throwing her into the ground almost draining her aura completely. Mercury looks over just in Time to see both of his allies on the ground eliminated. Phyrra goes in for a final strike before Mercury puts his hands in the air.
Mercury:"I forfeit." He said surprising everyone and making Vexon glare at him. Phyrra just stumbles stopping herself before she struck him with her spear.
Phyrra:"Why?"
Mercury:"It's clear that I'm no match here, he'll he even took my allies out with one attack each." He said pointing to Emerald who was still unconscious, and Titania who was back to her normal size and sitting up in pain. "I'm way out of my league here."
Glynda:"Well then the winners of the match are Phyrra, Crimson, and Vexon. And next time Mercury put a little more thought into who your going to fight."
Mercury:"I will." He said before helping Titania up and managing to wake up Emerald. Vexon floats back down to the ground with his arms crossed before picking up his blazer and putting it back on. I quickly jump down to him and hug him in a tight embrace.
Ruby:"What happened to you, where have you been?" I asked him I could almost see the anger radiating off of him but it eventually dispersed and I felt the old Vexon return to me.
Vexon:"I was out training with the rest of my team, we were using Grimm as our opponents but I made sure to push everyone to the limit."
Ruby:"Why? Why would you do that?" And just like that he became super serious again, it was as though he became a whole other person in general.
Vexon:"Because something is coming, I don't know what yet but it's coming and it's not going to go down without a fight he said before looking out the window of the classroom. "But at least I have my Rose to stand by my side." He said hugging me back. After that class everything seemed to be back to normal, Yang and Ash were making puns as usual, Vexon and I were sharing a box of cookies. Weiss was studying with Crimson on how to fine tune your weapon. But for some strange reason Neither Vector or Blake were here.
Ruby:"Hey Yang where's Blake?"
Yang:"I don't know? Wait now that you mention it where's Vector?"
Vexon:"Don't worry about them Vector's just asking her something." He said before everyone started doing there own thing again. But there was something about what Vexon said earlier, about something coming. If it's so dangerous that it makes all of team PRDE have to train for a few days, then just how dangerous is this thing.
(Meanwhile) Broly pov]
Mercury:"We fought in a 3v3, that sayian, a boy from his team and also Ms.Nikos. But we those two got there assess handed to them on a silver platter." The silver haired boy said pointing to the green haired girl and the silver and lavender-ish haired girl who were resting on some beds in the room.
Cinder:"Were you able to figure out how they fought?"
Mercury:"Only ms. Nikos, and Springs. As for the sayian he just picked Titania up and threw her after blowing up Emerald."
Broly:"By the sound of it he was pulling his punches, there is a chance he could of known what you were doing and he wanted to send a message."
Mercury:"But How? We told no one and no one else was able to tell."
Broly:"He's a sayian like me, he can sense when something's wrong."
Mercury:"Well then what do we do?"
Cinder:"Nothing we continue as planned, Broly get ready to help our asset in preparation for the festival, if he really knows what's about to happen then he should be there." I nod my head and leave the room. As much as I hated waiting, I hated Roman more, but eventually everyone will bow before me before I kill them, and I'll make sure that brat and his friends are the last ones to kill.
