With the group

As the group of eight hopeful students stare at the large creature in front of them. Ruby is the first of the group to make a move as she disappears in a cloud of rose petals as she blitzes forward to attack the scorpion creature. But she is intercepted by one of it's giant pincers causing the black and red haired girl to scream in pain as she begins to feel the creature squeeze the pincher shut. "RUBY"! Yang yells as her hairs seems to glow like it's on fire and her lilac eyes now turn into a bright red colour, Yang rushes forward as fast as she can and reels back her right arm and punches the scorpion right between then eyes firing off a couple shogun shells in the process to add more damage to her haymaker.

The creature staggers a little causing it's pincer to relax slightly and Ruby manages to slip out and moves back to the group. Yang continues to pummel on the creature not noticing it's tail coming down to strike her, suddenly Yang feels something wrap around her stomach as she is then yanked away from it just as the pincer comes crashing down right where she was standing. Yang looks over her shoulder to see Ruby is okay and Blake giving her a thumbs up as Weiss steps forward and creates these white glyph like symbols around the creature in a dome like shape as she jets forward and begins to bounce off the glyphs as she begins to stab at different points at the creature's body however all of her attacks deflect off of the hard bone like armour.

Weiss skids back to the group as she huffs. "This is annoying". The scorpion creature scuttles forward and swings it's pincers horizontally knocking everyone backwards as it lets out another blood curdling screech. "Guys we need to work together to kill this Grimm". Ruby says to the group with everyone else nodding as Weiss just retorts. "Fine I'll work with you just this once". Jaune looks over to Pyrrha, Nora and Ren and says. "Pyrrha get it's attention, you too Ren". Pyrrha nods as she rushes towards the creature as she uses rifle to get its attention as Ren runs to the left of the creature as he shoots as well, the creature goes to grab Ren with it's pincer however before it can grab the black haired boy a large hammer slams down onto the pincer making it crash down onto the ground.

"Don't you touch Ren"! Nora yells as Jaune looks on in shock as he then gets an idea, and he runs over to her and yells. "Nora, boost"! The ginger haired girl looks at Jaune and smiles and jumps into the air as Jaune raises his shield with Nora landing on the shield as Jaune launches her in the air. Nora raises her hammer over her head as she descends and with as much force as she can muster slams the hammer right into the back of the creature's head, causing bone plating to shatter upon impact and the creature then let's out another screech. "Pyrrha, Ren get the back of it's head"! Jaune orders as the both of them move in to attack and the both of them hack away at the exposed area however before they can do anymore damage both Pyrrha and Ren are knocked off as it flicks it's tail at them.

"Yang think you and Blake can take care of that tail"? Ruby asks as Yang looks over at Blake and they nod at each other as Yang jumps into the air using a couple shotgun blast to get higher as Blake jumps into the air and creates a clone who then spins and throws the real Blake to where Yang is. The blonde haired girl grabs Blake by the arm and throws Blake right at the tail as the black haired girl slashes at the tail with the katana like blade and the large cleaver severing the stinger. Yang grabs the branch of a nearby tree and swings on it and then lands on the ground safely as Blake stabs her weapon into the cave entrance and then gently lands onto the ground.

"Weiss can you do that thing you did before but also use fire dust"? Ruby asks as Weiss nods doing the same manoeuvrer as before but instead of stabbing the Grimm she slashes it with flickers of flames coming from her blade causing the creature to reel back with Ruby vanishing in a burst of rose petals and as she reappears her silver eyes begin to faintly glow as she slashes her scythe down onto the back of the Grimm's head as it lets out one final screech as it collapses to the ground.

"We did it! Let's go team"! Ruby cheers as Yang, Jaune and Nora cheer along with Ruby as Blake and Ren look on with small smiles on their face. Weiss just shake her head and turns away as Pyrrha walks over to Jaune and tells him. "You were really good out there Jaune, your strategies were amazing". Jaune scratches the back of his head as he replies. "It was nothing, I'm sure anyone could've come up with what I did". The group begins to walk away with their relics in hand and back towards the cliff, however unknown to the group of hopeful students the Grimm they believed dead begins to stagger to it's feet as scuttles back into the cave in came from as this thick black ichor like substance envelops it and it disappears from view.

Inside an Auditorium

"Could Jaune Arc, Pyrrha Nikos, Lie Ren and Nora Valkyrie please step up to the stage please"? Professor Ozpin asks as the four called upon students make their way up to the stage as Ozpin continues. "The four of you collected the golden rook pieces and from this day forward you will be known as Team JNPR or Team Juniper". As the crowd cheers, Nora lets out a short laugh as she gives Ren the biggest hug she can with Ozpin concluding. "Your team will be led by Jaune Arc". Jaune looks at the Professor shocked as he points to himself with Ozpin giving Jaune a smile and a nod, Pyrrha gives Jaune a friendly shoulder nudge however she hits him a little too hard and accidently knocks him off the stage and onto his butt earning a laugh from the audience. "Oops sorry Jaune". Pyrrha apologises as Jaune chuckles as the newly founded team exit the stage with Ozpin stepping back to the centre of the stage as he announces. "Finally could Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Yang Xiao Long and Blake Belladonna please step up to the stage". The group of four girls step onto the stage with Ozpin continuing. "As the four of you collected the golden knight pieces and from this day forth you will be known as Team RWBY or Team Ruby. You shall be led by Ruby Rose". Weiss was taken aback and shocked at this news but before Ruby could comprehend the news Yang wraps Ruby in a tight hug as she says. "I'm so proud of my baby sister". Ruby gives Yang a smile as she replies. "Yang I can't breathe".

Ozpin smiles to himself as he says to himself. "This year's students are shaping up to be interesting; a girl with silver eyes, the Invincible Girl, the Schnee Dust Company heiress as well as a promising tactician in Mr Arc".
