[(Y/N)'s POV)]

I smiled as I walked down the hall to Team RWBY's dorm. I had just gotten back from a Grimm extermination mission, it should've taken me three weeks but I got done a week early, so I decided to surprise them. For awhile now all four of us had been dating, I know I know, "isn't that awkward?". At first it was awkward but after awhile we seemed to get used to it, and honestly, all five of us couldn't be happier. As I approached the door and went to knock I heard a strange noise. I stopped and listened for a moment. The noise was... Moaning. I began gritting my teeth at the voice I heard. Neptune.

Neptune: "Are you sure it's okay for me to come here everyday?"

Weiss: "Don't worry, (Y/N) isn't due back for another week."

I sighed as they continued. I then put on my best smile and quietly opened the door. Approaching Neptune who was currently on top of my once faithful girlfriend, I tapped him on the shoulder. As we made eye contact I could see the fear in his eyes.

Me: "No need to be scared. I just wanted to tell you something."

I grabbed him by the throat and pinned him against the wall.

Me: "You WILL treat her right, you WILL take good care of her, you WILL be faithful, understood?"

He nodded as much as he was able, which wasn't much considering my vice like grip. I dropped him to the floor and looked over at Weiss.

Me: "You know, you could've simply said I wasn't good enough."

Weiss: "(Y/N) it's not-"

Me: "Don't."

I then walked out the door and down the hall. As I walked I could feel my sadness catching up with me. I then put my smile back on and decided what to do next.

Me: 'I'll go see Ruby. She always knows how to cheer me up.'

[Time Skip]

I had looked all over for Ruby and couldn't find her. I looked at my scroll, despite having multiple messages from Weiss, I got no response from Ruby, after asking where she was. I decided to check around town, her favorite places. I had checked her usual hang out, a bakery I had taken her to, many times. After not seeing her there I began to get a little worried, considering she had a habit of getting in trouble. After a few more minutes I spotted a red hood sitting on a park bench. I smiled and started sneaking up behind her to spook her but saw she had someone with her, a boy I didn't recognize. He had his head laying on her lap while she ran her fingers through his hair. I sighed and started to walk away.

Me: 'Should I tell her I know?'

I looked back as she leaned down and kissed him. I felt tears begin to well up in my eyes.

Me: 'I'll be sure to let her know... Just not face to face.'

[Time Skip, Back to Beacon]

Me: 'Maybe I'm just not good enough for them...'

I shook my head to snap out of it and put on my best smile.

Me: 'I'll go see Blake. We can talk and get some tea. Oh, I heard a new bookstore opened, maybe I'll take her there.'

I walked straight to her usual spot. A large oak tree at the back of the academy, she always went there to read in peace. As I rounded the corner to the back of the school I saw Blake... And Sun. Of course this wouldn't be unusual, they talked quite a lot, if it weren't for the fact that they were making out. I felt the sides of my mouth twitch. It was getting a lot harder to keep up this smile.

Me: 'I don't have the strength to face Blake, I'll be sure to let her know later.'

I then turned and walked to my dorm.

Me: 'I just need to rest. Hopefully this is just one big nightmare.'

Once I got to my dorm I grabbed the handle and began turning only to stop when I heard a voice from inside.

Yang: "So, you free tomorrow too?"

Guy: "For you, of course."

I felt something snap. I couldn't hold it anymore, my grip tightened on the door knob as I swung it open, nearly taking it off the hinges. The guy was half dressed and his belt was across the room, while Yang was basically naked, only wearing a bra and panties.

Me: "Get. Out. Now!"

Yang: "(Y/N)?!"

Me: "I said get out."

I could feel anger building up inside as they just stared at me. I knew why, I had tears streaming down my face. I turn my attention to the guy.

Me: "Leave now."

Guy: "Why shoul-"

I picked him up by the collar of his shirt and threw him out the door making him hit the wall.

Me: "Because it's my god damn room!"

I looked back and Yang was mostly dressed. I threw any random articles of clothing I found out the door at the half unconscious male. Once Yang got through the door she turned and opened her mouth to speak but I just slammed the door. As soon as the door was shut I felt my anger disappear, and be replaced with overwhelming sadness. I locked the door then walked over to my bed, laying down, I curled up. Now that I was alone I let myself cry, until there was knocking on my door.

Weiss: "(Y/N) please open up, we need to talk."

Me: "Go talk to your new boyfriend, Ice Queen."

Weiss: "(Y/N)..."

She sounded sad. Now that I think about it, I had never called her that before, even though it was what everyone else called her, I suppose that's what got her attention.

Ruby: "Will you open up for me? Please?"

Me: "Ruby, I saw at the park. Don't act innocent."

Ruby: "I....I...."

Blake: "(Y/N) please... Just open up, we can all talk this out and things can go back to how they were."

Me: "All four of you.... On same day... How can that just be erased!"

I began to cry harder.

Me: 'I'm pathetic... I can kill a pack of Beowulves with my eyes closed, but I break down because of these four.'

Me: "Just piss off!"

Everything was quite for a moment. Until I heard a whisper.

Ruby: "Go get the spare key."

I sighed.

Me: 'I regret giving them that now.'

I quickly got up and grabbed a few things. My wallet, my revolver, and then four pieces of paper. I quickly wrote messages on each sheet of paper, I then put them on my desk and walked to the window. I opened it and hopped down, hanging on the ledge. I then began climbing down, once I hit the ground I ran to the ship dock.

Me: 'Goodbye Beacon...'

[Ruby's POV]

We unlocked the door and slowly opened it, revealing an empty room with an open window. What caught my attention was the four pieces of paper that laid on the desk. I walked over and saw that there was one for each of us.

Me: "Guys... Look."

I grabbed the one addressed to me and read it.

Note: "Dear Ruby, I hope you're happy with him, I truly do. You two looked happy, and I obviously wasn't good enough for you, or the others. Please be sure that he treats you right, you're far too young to have your heart broken. Sincerely, (Y/N)"

I started to tear up. I realized I had messed up. (Y/N) was the kindest person I'd met, no matter what he'd get me whatever I asked for. I remember one time I said I wanted cookies, but we didn't have any, so he ran down to Vale in the pouring rain just to get some. Even after what I did he's still looking after me...

[Blake's POV]

I slowly read the message.

Note: "Dear Blake, I'm sorry. I knew you and Sun liked each other, but I suppose I was selfish, because I thought you were happy with me, obviously I was wrong. Please be sure that he treats you right. Sincerely (Y/N)."

I felt tears slid down my face. (Y/N) left... I got caught up in heat of the moment with Sun and now I'm losing someone who didn't care about my past and still loved me.

[Weiss' POV]

Note: "Dear Weiss, I apologize for calling you Ice Queen. I also apologize for not seeing that you were unhappy sooner. I should've known from Neptune's flirting and the looks you two have each other that you were meant to be. I wish you two luck. Sincerely (Y/N)."

Just like the others I started to cry. (Y/N) was so nice and charming. He treated me so well, so why did I do this to him...?

[Yang's POV]

Note: "Dear Yang, Please be safe, I know how you can get into trouble easily, also, cut down on the drinking, considering you won't have anyone to drive you back here. One more thing, if you ever go to Junior's again, tell him I said hi. I wish you the best, sincerely (Y/N)."

I fell to my knees and started to cry. I can't believe I did this to him... He put up with all my partying, he even joined in a lot of the time. Yet he always had my best interest in mind and was responsible.

Me: 'What have I done...?'

[Time Skip, Into Vale, (Y/N)'s POV]

I sat in a dark ally way. I couldn't move, it felt as if my body had given up and refused to move. I looked up to see it was getting dark. I had no where to go, no one to stay with, and not enough money to get a room at a motel or something.

Me: 'I can't go back.... I have nothing left... No family, no other friends... What's the point anymore....'

I looked to the revolver on my hip, my trusty weapon. I gave up. I undid the holster and pulled the pistol out of its restraint. I placed the barrel in my mouth and pulled the hammer down.

Me: 'I can't do this anymore...'

As I was about to pull the trigger a fireball hit my revolver and made it fly out of my hand. A woman in a red dress walked towards me, heels clicking on the ground.

Cinder: "What do you think you're doing?"

I recognized the voice. It was Cinder Fall, a transfer student from Haven I believe. I looked at the ground, ashamed to answer. She walked over to me and made me look at her by placing her hands on the sides of my face. She saw that I was crying and wiped away my tears.

Cinder: "I heard what they did. You don't deserve that, do you?"

Me: "I.... I wasn't good for them.... I wasn't a good boyfriend...."

Cinder: "Darling you must be joking. You treated them like princesses. Anyone could see that, in fact..."

She leaned down and got closer.

Cinder: "I was quite jealous."

She whispered as if she didn't want anyone to hear.

Cinder: "Why don't you come with me? We can get something to drink and you can get some rest."

Me: "I... Really don't want to go back to Beacon."

Cinder: "Oh don't worry. We won't be going to Beacon."

Me: "Then where are we going?"

She smiled down at me.

[Time Skip, A Few Weeks]

I wiped the sweat off my forehead as I set the last box down. After that day Cinder brought me here, and told me I could stay as long as I worked. Truth be told, I knew what all this was, the White Fang, Cinder's plan, but to me it was better then going back.

Me: 'Besides...'

I looked over at Cinder and she looked back at me then smiled. I smiled back and waved. She then blew a kiss to me.

Me: 'I have a reason to stay.'
