Chapter 1: Sparks of Adventure Ignite
Hey, I'm Y/N. Son Y/N so be exact. There's not much to tell about me, I'm 17 years old, approaching 18. I like exploring, eating, and that's about it. I live on a high mountain in a small house.
Our Scene begins with You sitting by a large stream of water on a bright sunny way. You didn't say a word. You simply stared into the water, basically having a staring contest with your reflection when you suddenly snatched a medium sized fish from the water.
You looked at the fish with a big smile on your face. Turning around and placing it in a large bucket filled with more fish that were relative in size.
You peered into the bucket with a look of satisfaction before nodding and walking away with the bucket of fish in hand.
Well...there is this other thing. I'm kind of a big deal. Well, not just me...my entire family is kinda famous thanks to something my Great, Great...Great...uhh...something my Grandfather did way back in the day.
I don't really know any of my family. Not sure why, but I'm content with living up here...but there is one family member up here with me.
???: Ah! You've got the fish! Awesome!
Yup. That's my Dad. Don't be fooled. He's not THE Goku. He's Goku Junior. Obviously he's also a descendant of the mighty Son Goku. According to the pictures he has though, he looks practically identical to him.
Y/N: Hey, Dad. Yeah, I've got the fish.
Goku Jr: Alright, now chuck em over the fire and we can watch something.
Y/N: Kay.
With that you walked over to the fire that your Father had started and placed them over the fireplace like he had instructed you to.
While you did this, Goku Jr walked over to a small device on the ground pressed a button on it. Upon pressing said button, it began to project a large holographic screen.
To be completely honest, I'm not too big on fish. I used to like eating them, but my Dad likes them so much more than I do and eats them way more so they're kinda a regular on our diet.
Eating nothing but fish gets kinda tiring, but I don't mind hunting and cooking them. I find fishing fun and I find cooking to be relaxing regardless if it's over the fireplace or on the stove. I really enjoy both.
As your Father grabbed the remote and began to channel surf, he eventually hit a wave of news channels. All of them talking about the same thing. A tragic event that happened recently, it involved Beacon Academy.
Beacon Academy was a school known for training some of the greatest Huntsmen and Huntresses throughout all of Remnant. You had received in invitation from the Headmaster himself to enroll at the academy, but you turned it down. Fighting in the way of a Huntsman just wasn't your style.
However, a series of events occurred and lead to the entire School falling. The entire area had to be evacuated. You don't know the exact details, but dangerously high amounts of Grimm were invading all of Vale.
Now the entire school is on lockdown and off limits until further notice. As the people on the news talked about these events, your father scoffed and kept searching for something to watch.
Goku Jr: Ugh...I hope those people are alright...
As you listened to the sounds of the channels changed, you kept watching the fish cook over the fire with a look of disappointment on your face.
Y/N: ...Do you think we could've changed the outcome if we were there...?
Goku Jr: Hm?
Y/N: If I accepted Professor Ozpin's offer to enroll at Beacon...even if it was just me...do you think I could've made a difference...?
Goku Jr: You shouldn't worry about that stuff, Y/N.
Y/N: I'm just saying, for such a Legendary bloodline, we're definitely not doing much!
Goku Jr: Not this again...Y/N, do I have to remind you why we live up here in the first place? Our Bloodline has some big names, yes. But those days are gone. When I was younger, so many people thought that I was Son Goku...but we're not nearly as mighty as he was...besides...I'd much rather live a quiet and peaceful life than one of bloodshed and violence.
Y/N: But we could help so many people, save so many lives! Maybe if we were there, we could've stopped the fall of Beacon! I've seen you fight, even if we're not huntsmen, you'd blow most of them out of the water with your strength alone!
Goku Jr: You're starting to seriously confuse me with this...if you truly wanted to make a difference then you should've accepted Ozpin's offer when you had the chance. We're dropping this conversation here!
Y/N: But—
Goku Jr: That's enough!
Y/N: Tch!!
Obviously upset, you stormed back into the house as Goku Jr rolled his eyes and sighed. Leaving him to watch the Fish himself.
Time Skip
A few hours had passed and you were now lying down in your bedroom. You hadn't spoken to your Father since your argument a few hours prior.
The Sun had gone down and you were still in a sour mood. Staring at the ceiling, you merely sighed and began to think about the Warriors who fought for this world before you.
Y/N: I wonder what he was like...
Y/N: ...If he was here now...what would he think? What would he say...? *Sighs*...I don't wanna be some huntsman with fancy weapons or anything like that...I wanna be my own Warrior...
It was then when you heard a strong breeze of wind blow by from outside. You could still hear it despite your bedroom window being closed.
All of a sudden your window swung wide open, causing you to gasp and jerk back a little bit. After a few seconds, you hesitantly got up from your bed and slowly walked towards the window.
Peeking your head outside, you didn't see anybody or anything that couldn't caused your window to swing wide open. However when you peeked outside, you were greeted by a gorgeous view of the Moon. To this day, the reason for a chunk of it being in pieces remains a mystery.
Y/N: Wow...!!
After some more gazing at the Moon, you made a decision. With a smile on your face, you kept looking at the moon. You felt grateful yet you couldn't understand why.
Time Skip: Morning
It was very early in the morning and still dark outside, the Sun was barely out. You now found yourself standing in the front of your house.
You had a large backpack full of supplies and food. You planned on leaving home to try and make the world a better place. You looked back at your home, somewhat sad to be leaving, but if your Father knew you were leaving, he wouldn't let you go in the first place.
Looking forward once more, you began to speed walk away from your home and into the unknown, and this is where your Journey would begin.
Y/N: With Beacon out of commission, People need hope more than ever! I'll leave my mark on the world, and it'll be in my own way! I'll see you again someday, Dad!
With that, you were off. However you didn't realize that around the size of the house, your Father was up and about. He watched you go, yet he didn't stop you. He merely smiled as he watched you embark on your own Adventure with a sense of pride in his heart.
Goku Jr: No matter what I say...no matter what I tell you to believe...you and you alone make your own choices, and it's up to you to take that first step...Bye Son. Stay safe.
(Power Guide)
You fight strictly bare handed. Your Semblance causes your entire body to shine gold, giving you an increase in Speed, Power, and Durability.
You call this semblance "Super Boost". Using it normally grants you a Five Times Multiplier in the stats just mentioned, but your power is also connected to your emotions, on rare occasions, the Multiplier can go higher.
