It was just a normal day at school hanging out with my friends but we got a new student
Goodwitch: " Everyone this is our new student mercury."
Mercury: "Hello everyone."
This dude did look very handsome but I wondered if he was even into guys I guys I would just get to know him better and see where it went from their.
Goodwitch: "Mercury go sit next to Jaune."
He sat next to me so I decided now was a good a time as any to get to know him
Jaune: "Hey I'm Jaune."
Mercury: "Hi I'm mercury."
TIMESKIP
It was lunch time and I saw mercury and it seemed like he had no where to sit so I called out to him
Jaune: "Mercury over here."
Mercury: "Hey Jaune thanks. For saving me a spot."
Jaune: "No problem."
Nora: "Jaune introduce us to your new friend(they weren't in the same class he was)
Jaune: "Oh right Mercury this is Yang,Blake,Weiss,Ruby,Nora,Ren,and Pyrrha. Everyone this is Mercury he's new here.
Mercury got to know everyone a little bit.
TIMESKIP
I was on the way to class when I saw Cardin bullying Mercury
Jaune: "Hey leave him alone Cardin."
Cardin: "And what are you going to do."
Jaune: "I'll go tell Ozpin."
Cardin: "Fine lets go guys." He said as they left
Jaune: "Hey you ok." I say helping Mercury help
Mercury: "Yeah thanks to you."
Jaune: "Yeah Im sorry about Cardin he's a jerk to everyone but if you ever need help come get me."
Mercury: "Thanks."

Eventually me and mercury got to know each other better and I even got him to get to know my friends. Even though Nora and Pyrrha wouldn't stop teasing me about going out with him (there the only ones he told so far) but I knew it was all in good fun. Eventually I decided to come out to the rest of my friends(besides mercury) and they took it very well.
Ruby: "That doesn't change anything Jaune you're still a really good friend."
Weiss: "Yeah and now you can go after mercury."
I looked at her with shock
Jaune: "H-how did you know."
Weiss: "It's pretty obvious I mean it's the same way Yang and Blake or Nora and Ren look at each other." At the mention of their names everyone mentioned blushed
Ruby: "And it seems like he's into you by the way he looks at you and the way you guys get along."
Jaune: "Yeah thanks guys."
TIMESKIP 2 Weeks
I was going to ask Mercury earlier but I was just so nervous but I had finally worked up the courage to ask him.
Jaune: "You can do this Jaune you can do this."
Jaune: "Mercury can we talk."
Mercury: "Yeah sure what is it Jaune."
Jaune: "I was wondering if you wanted to go out."
Mercury: "Yeah sure Jaune."
Jaune: "Really that's amazing."

After that first date they hit it off and eventually got married even adopting two kids
