Yang and Blake were walking alongside each other, having fun as it was only the two of them. "It's been a while since we just hung out like this," Yang spoke up. Blake nodded her head, "I agree, it's quiet compared to when Weiss and Ruby are around."

Yang hummed in agreement, "Speaking of Ruby; she really is the shortest of all our friends, isn't she?"

Blake stared at her, confused, "I don't think so -- I think Weiss is the shortest of our friends."

Yang smiled at Blake, to which the faunus immediately had a bad feeling about it. "Sooo, Blake," Yang started, "How about we make a bet to see who is taller between Ruby and Weiss?"

Blake nodded her head, a small smile spread across her lips, "It's on."

Blake walked with Ruby, just both of them hanging out. "So... Ruby, could I ask you a question?"

Ruby looked at her teammate, a smile present on her face as she arched an eyebrow. "Uh, sure Blake. What's up?"

"Well, I wanted to ask, are you taller than Weiss?"

Ruby looked at Blake, a look of confusion evident on her face. "Am I taller than Weiss?"

A big grin then spread across her lips. "OF COURSE! I definitely grew taller than Weiss this year! I am much taller than her by a lot!"

Blake smiled and looked at Ruby, placing a hand on her hip, "Uh-huh, just checking."

"If you don't mind me asking," Ruby began, "Why did you wanna know?"

"It's not a problem. Yang thought that you were the shortest and I thought Weiss was the shortest. It's a bit of a bet we made."

Ruby stared at Blake before pouting. "I can't believe Yang thinks I'm shorter than Weiss. That's rude!"

Blake chuckled and shook her head. "I know."

She suddenly had a message on her scroll, looking at it almost immediately. It was a message from Yang, asking if Blake wanted to hang out later; to which Blake quickly typed out a response. "I'll be meeting with Yang a little later, Ruby, so if there's anywhere you wanna go first, then let's go."

Ruby nodded her head and began dragging Blake around to different areas (with Blake reminding herself it was stupid decision to try and escape from Ruby's grip.)

At the same time, with Yang and Weiss

"So, Weiss," Yang smiled, walking up to the ice queen. Weiss had a glare as she stared at the blonde, "Yang, what are you up to?"

"Aw, jeez, I thought you'd wanna answer a question, but I guess not."

"Wait!" Weiss called out to Yang, who had just turned around with a big smile on her face, and Weiss sighed as she finally said, slowly. "What did you want to ask me?"

"Are you taller than Ruby?"

Weiss was surprised at the bluntness. "I'm sorry?"

"Are you taller than Ruby?"

"Of course I'm taller! Why did you think otherwise!?"

Yang sheepishly grinned, "Weeeeeeeeeeeeell, Blake and I made a bet 'cause we weren't sure who was taller, and I said you were taller than Ruby. She thinks Rubes is taller than you."

"Of course she does. Well, don't worry Yang. But I am taller than Ruby," Weiss said proudly. Yang smiled, "I hope so! Otherwise I'll be losing money to Belladonna."

Weiss narrowed her eyes, "How much did you bet?"

"You don't wanna know."

"YANG!"

Time Skip, again

"Sooo, stand beside each other, and no cheating!" Yang told Ruby and Weiss, both girls removing their slippers in their dorm as they finally were measure for their height. Both Ruby and Weiss stood beside each other in their pyjamas, leaving Weiss with her hair down.

The second the two girls stood beside each other, the answer was clear as day.

Yang was in shock, handing over the money to Blake with a scowl. Blake smiled and giggled. Both Ruby and Weiss realized the answer. The Schnee's heart sank, as Ruby became a pinball before running next to Weiss. "Don't worry, Weiss, we still love you!"

Weiss chuckled as she hugged Ruby back. "Alright alright. You can get off now, Ruby."

When Ruby didn't budge, Weiss yelled. "GET OFF!"

"ALRIGHT SNOW QUEEN!" Ruby saluted.
