Ruby: Penny, I-I don't understand.

Penny: Most girls are born, I was made. I'm the world's first synthetic person capable of generating an aura, I'm not real.

Ruby takes Penny's hands.

Ruby: Of course you are, you think just because you got nuts and bolts instead of squishy guts makes you any less real than me or Kayla?

Penny: I don't, um.. You two are taking this extraordinarily well.

Ruby: You're not like those things we saw back there, you've got a heart, and a soul I can feel it.

Kayla: You think yourself a machine, but you're no less human than Ruby and I.

Penny suddenly bear hugs the both of them.

Penny: Oh, you guys are the best friends anyone could have!

Ruby: I can see why your father would want to protect such a delicate flower.

Penny releases them.

Penny: Oh, he's really sweet, my father's the one who built me. I'm sure you two would just love him.

Ruby: Wow, he built you all be himself?

Penny: Well almost, he had some help from Mr.Ironwood.

Ruby: The general? Wait, is that why the soldiers are after you?

Penny: They like to protect me too.

Kayla: They're trying too hard if you ask me.

Ruby: They don't think you can protect yourself?

Penny: They're not sure if i'm ready yet. One day, it will be my job to save the world, but I still have a lot left to learn. That's why my father let me come to the Vital festival. I want to see what it's like in the rest of the world, and test myself in the tournament.

Ruby: Penny what are you talking about? Save the world from what? We're in a time of peace.

Penny: That's not what Mr.Ironwood said.

Kayla: What do you mean, what did he tell you?

???: Check down here!

Penny: You two have to hide *she picks up Ruby and Kayla*

Kayla: Hey Penny stop this!

Ruby: Penny, what are you doing? You don't have to go with them we can help you!

Penny throws both of them into a dumpster.

Penny: It's ok girls, they're not bad people, I just don't want you two to get in trouble. Just promise you won't tell anyone about my secret, okay?

Ruby: I promise.

Kayla: As do I.

Penny closes the dumpster as the soldiers catch up.

???: there she is!

Penny: Salutations officers.

Ruby slowly opens the lid to see what's going on.

Soldier 1: Why were you running? And what happened to the other girls?

Penny: What girls? I've been by myself all day.

Soldier 2: You shouldn't cause such a scene.

Soldier 1: Are you okay?

Penny: Just a scratch.

Soldier 2: Penny, your father isn't going to be happy about this.

Soldier 1: Please, just come with us.

Penny: Yes sir.

The two soldiers leave with Penny.

Kayla: You know, I never found out why Isaac likes diving in these things.

A rat suddenly startles both of them.

Meanwhile, on the outskirts of town, Nina and Leon ride out on Nina's chopper to search for clues of the White Fang's whereabouts.

Nina: Alright, we're here, I'll check that block, and you look in those back alleys.

Leon: How's that supposed to help?

Nina: Well that sounds like a place the White Fang would meet.

Leon: Alright whatever.

They both start their search, Nina started inspecting the backsides of buildings before finding the insignia of the White Fang painted on a wall.

Nina: Hmm, a roaring wolf head, this is the sign of the White Fang.

Nina pulls out her scroll and messages Leon.

Nina: I found the White Fang's insignia on one of the buildings, you find anything.

Leon: Well I found some footprints moving through these allyways, based on their placement, whoever made them was trying to enter undetected, does that count?

Nina: Yeah, keep looking.

Over with Leon, he had just spoken to Nina on his scroll, he was about to put it away when he saw a poster, the poster featured a man wearing a multi colored suit and top hat smiling at the observer. At the top it read "Dr.Bamboozle's Fanged Fuanatics Circus" In big colorful letters, the information read When: The Vital festival, and Where: Festival square. And thinking it as an opportunity to bond with Nina, Leon took a picture of the poster. In another part of town, Blake, Sun and Isaac are trying to find and enter the White Fang's secret meeting spot, after discovering a three claw mark on a wall, they find it and prepare to enter.

Blake: This is it.

Isaac: Alright, I'm ready.

Sun: You sure?

Blake and Isaac shoot him cold glances.

Sun: Y'know, I'm just gonna take your word for it.

Blake removes her bow and they enter.

Guard: New recruits, keep to the right.

Sun: I don't get it, if you believe what you're doing is right, why hide who you are?

Blake: The masks are a symbol.

Isaac: A rather dark one at that.

Blake: Humanity wanted to make monsters out of us, so we chose to don the faces of monsters.

Sun: Grimm masks, that's kinda dark.

Blake: So was the guy who started it.

Isaac: Wait, you don't mean?

Blake: Please don't mention him here.

Isaac: *Blushes* Um, right, sorry.

Blake and Isaac start heading for the entrance.

Sun: Always sunshine and rainbows with you.

He follows them, once inside, they see a whole horde of White Fang soldiers, as well as other faunus recruits, on a stage was what looked like a lieutenant.

WF lieutenant: Thank you all for coming. For those of you joining us for the first time tonight, allow me to introduce a very special comrades of ours. I can assure you, he is the key to obtaining what we have fought for for so long.

Roman takes the stage and everyone starts booing.

Roman: Thank you, thank you, please hold your applause.

WF recruit: What's a human doing here?!

Roman: I'm glad you asked dearie. Now I'll be the first to admit, humans are the worst, case and point. So I understand why you would like to see us all locked away, or better yet: Killed! But--.

Sun: So, is he going somewhere with this or---.

Roman: I would like to mention the fact that you and I all have a common enemy. The ones in control, the people pulling the strings, the dirty rotten humans that run our kingdoms. Government, military, even the schools. They're all to blame for your lot in life!

Everyone cheers.

Roman: And they're all pests that need to be dealt with, fortunately, I'm the best exterminator around, no offence to any rodents in the room.

Roman snaps and the curtain falls, exposing the Atlesian Paladin underneath while everyone cheers.

Sun: Uh, that's a big robot.

Blake: How did he get that?

Isaac: He must have connections in the Atlesian military.

Roman: As some of you might have heard, this right here is Atlas' now line of defense against all the scary things in the world. And thanks to my employer, we've managed to snag a few before they, hit the shelves. Now, many of your brothers have already moved down to our new operation in the south east, if you'd rather stay within the city, that's fine, but if you're truly ready to fight for what you believe in, this is the arsenal I can provide you, any questions?

The audience cheers.

Blake: We should get out of here.

Roman: Will all new recruits, please come forward.

The new recruits start advancing.

Sun: Welp.

Isaac: What now?

Sun: What are we gonna do?

Blake: I'm thinking.

Roman looks at them.

Sun: He sees us.

Roman throws down his cigar and starts walking toward them.

Isaac: Think faster please.

Blake looks around and notices the electric switch box.

Blake: He can't see in the dark.

Before Sun or Isaac can reply, Blake shoots out the switch box, causing the whole room to go pitch black.

Roman: Don't let them get away!

Blake: Guys, the window!

Roman: Stop them!

In the ensuing chaos, Roman get into and powers up the Atlesian Paladin as Blake, Isaac, and Sun escape out a window, behind them, Roman busts through the wall with his new mech and starts chasing them.

Sun: So you wouldn't happen to have, oh I don't know, some form of backup?

Blake: On it!

Isaac: Hold on, I'm gonna try and slow him down!

Isaac draws his blade staff and fires a lightning dust crystal, overloading the servos on the Paladin, temporarily shutting it down. While Blake calls up everyone else.

Blake: Everyone, if you can hear me, we need backup!

Sun: They got a robot, and it's big, really big!

Ruby: Oh, I am not missing this!

Kayla: Right behind you!

Sun: the Torchwick guy's in it! But not like, it didn't eat him, he's like controlling it or something

Yang: Where are you guys?

Blake, Sun, and Isaac run past Yang with Roman in pursuit.

Neptune: I think that was them.

Yang: Yeah, I got it!

Yang immediately speeds after them on her motorcycle.

Isaac: Roman's in hot pursuit of my team, and he's angry!

Background explosion.

Isaac: Ah, really angry, I repeat, he's really angry!

Nina: No way, we gotta help em!

Nina and Leon take off to help them.

The chase leads the team of hunters and Torchwick to the highway, Yang and Nina have caught up.

Yang: We gotta slow it down!

Neptune: Got it!

Neptune draws his grenade launcher but Roman sees someone's following him and swats some cars aside to stop them, Yang and Nina avoid these projectiles as Neptune shoots Roman's mech in the back, he then changes it to it's guandao form and leaps onto the mechs back, Nina lassos one of the mech's legs with her chain and Sun tries to beat on it with his staff only to be knocked aside by Neptune, Nina loses her grip and almost falls but leon uses his semblance to save Nina, keep her from falling and "keep er goin." Isaac lands on one of the cars and primes his dust launcher before aiming it at Roman.

Isaac: Alright you mech mounted maniac™, bring it on!

But before Isaac can act on this, Weiss covers the street in ice, causing Roman to fall off the highway and land on the ground below, everybody then assembles.

Isaac: Alright people listen up, I have a plan to put an end to this jerk.

Isaac mutters careful instructions to everyone and they all start to circle around Roman, seeing this, Roman flicks a switch inside the mech and a swarm of tiny rockets fly out the mech's back.

Isaac: By Remnant look out!

The whole world around Leon suddenly stops, he looks at the panicked or concerned expressions of his friends and teammates, then he looks at his hand.

Leon: Oh this is gonna hurt so much.

Leon takes out his scroll, then puts on some headphones and starts playing some funny music to distract him from the fact, and starts walks around saving everyone, but not before putting them in some awkward situations. He puts Blake in Isaac's embrace and moves their faces dangerously close, He puts Neptune on the ground with Sun on top of him, He puts Ruby on Weiss's back and wraps Nina's chain around Kayla's spear before looking back at Roman.

Leon: Hmm, now what to do about you? Wait, I got it.

Leon walks over to Yang, removes one of her hairs, and places it in front of her.

Leon: That'll do it.

He finally walks in front of Roman before restoring time to normal, the explosion caused by the rockets causes Leon to go flying someplace far away.

Leon: Don't worry, you guys will thank me later!

Leon disappears as Yang goes crazy on Roman, Isaac releases Blake and covers his face, Weiss collapses under Ruby's weight, Neptune and Sun struggle to get up, and Kayla tries in vain to free her spear form Nina's chain. Eventually, everyone pulls themselves together and Yang defeats Roman.

Roman: *Drags himself from the ruins of his mech and brushes his suit* I just got this cleaned.

Yang launches another fireball, but Neo steps in and defends Roman with her parasol.

Roman: Ladies, and ice queen.

Ice queen: Hey!

Roman: It's been a pleasure, Neo.

Neo does a small bow as Yang flies in and punches them, causing their image to shatter like glass, everyone then discovers they're escaping via jet.

Blake: So I guess he got a new henchmen?

Weiss: Yeah, I guess she really made our plan's, fall apart.

Nina: No no, I'm pretty sure she put them on ice.

Blake: No, just no.

Weiss: *Turns to Yang* what, but you do it.

Yang: There's a time and a place for jokes.

Weiss: Was this not it?

Yang: No, it just wasn't very good.

Weiss: Well it least I'm trying.

Ruby: Wait, where are Sun and Neptune?

Nina: And for that matter, where's Leon?

Leon: *Returns "Here" *looks at Isaac* "Why you hiding your face Coonie?"

Isaac: Go away, I don't wanna talk about that!
