Late that same night, Isaac notices a strange presence in his team's dorm, he looks at the window to sees the strange figure who stalked him in the Emerald Forest.

Isaac: Who are you?

???: All you need to know that we've met before.

Isaac: You talking about the Emerald Forest?

???: Oh no, we go back much farther.

Isaac: Well, what do you want?

???: I come with a warning, come the vytal festival, Beacon, Vale, and perhaps all of Remnant will be in grave danger, and only you and your friends can prevent disaster.

Isaac: What do you?

Isaac looks back to find the figure had vanished. The next day, all first year students journeyed to forever fall forest.

Glynda: Yes students, the forest of forever fall is indeed beautiful. But we did not come here to sight-see, professor Peaches asked you all to collect samples from the trees deep inside this forest, and I'm here to make sure that none of you die while doing so. Each of you is to gather one jar's worth of red sap, however, this forest is full of the creatures of grimm, so be sure to stay by your teammates. We will rendezvous back here at four o'clock, have fun.

Cardin: C'mon buddy, let's go.

Isaac: Hold on a moment, Jaune is friends with Cardin? That doesn't seem right, I want to investigate, but I have to--

Leon: Go get em Coonie, I'll get your jar for you.

Isaac: Thanks Leon, I can always count on you Can't it?

Leon: Yeah yeah, now move before they get away.

Isaac runs off and hides in a tree, and he finds team CRDL is forcing Jaune to collect their jars.

Isaac: I should have known better than to believe team CRDL wouldn't do something like this.

Cardin: Hey, great work, Jauney boy, now that wasn't too hard, was it?

Jaune: I think I'm allergic to this stuff.

Cardin: Great, great, great, so Jaune, I bet you're asking yourself "why did my buddy Cardin ask me to collect six jars of tree sap when there's only five of us?"

Jaune: That is one of the many questions that I have asked myself today, yes.

Cardin: Well, come with me and you'll find out.

Jaune doesn't like the idea.

Isaac follows them to a small cliffside where they're looking down on teams RWBY, JNPR, and his team.

Jaune: Cardin, what's going on?

Cardin: Payback.

Jaune: Pyrrha? What are you--?

Cardin: That's the girl, red-haired know-it-all thinks she's so smart, alright boys, Last night ol' Jaune here managed to round up an entire box of rapier wasps. And now, we're gonna put 'em to work.

Jaune nervously chuckles.

Cardin: Now, according to one of the essays he wrote for me last week, these nasty things looove sweets. I'm thinkin' it's time we teach her a thing or two.

Cardin pulls Jaune up and shoves the jar of sap into his hands.

Cardin: And you're gonna do it.

Jaune: Do what?

Cardin: Hit her with the sap! Either that, or I'll have a chat with Goodwich, and you'll be on the first airship out of Beacon.

Isaac: Oh, not cool, not cool.

Isaac suddenly makes a wrong step and falls out of the tree he's in.

Cardin: Well well, and what do we have here?

Cardin walks over and pins Isaac down with his foot.

Cardin: I'll deal with you later, for now, make your choice Jaune.

Isaac: Don't do it Jaune!

Cardin picks up Isaac and slaps his hand over his mouth.

Cardin: Keep your mouth shut pest or I'll throw you into the garbage where you belong, hurry up Jaune!

Isaac can only watch as Jaune takes aim, but then hesitates.

Jaune: No.

Cardin: What did you say?

Jaune: I said, no!

Jaune throws the jar at Cardin, and Isaac ducks down before it hits him.

Cardin: Oh-ho-ho, you've done it now.

Dove and Sky restrain Jaune and throw him down while Russell grabs Isaac, Cardin then picks up Jaune and punches him.

Cardin: You know that wasn't very smart, Jaune-y boy, I'm gonna make sure they send you back to mommy in teeny, tiny, pieces.

Jaune: I don't care what you do to me, but you're not messing with my team.

Cardin: What, you think talk like that makes you tough? You think you're a big strong man now?

Cardin tries to punch Jaune, but a bright flash causes him to drop him, Cardin regains his composure and kicks Jaune to the ground.

Cardin: Let's see how much of a man you really are.

A powerful roar suddenly fills the air as a large ursa approaches, everyone's shaking in fear as it sniffs Cardin, it then roars again as the rest of team CRDL runs off, Russell releases Isaac as he flees, the ursa slaps Cardin aside and starts lumbering towards him. Cardin pulls out his mace but the ursa disarms him and it lands next to Jaune.

Meanwhile, RWBY, JNPR, and the rest of NIKL hear a distant roar.

Ruby: Did you guys hear that?

The rest of team CRDL runs past.

Russell: Ursa, ursa!!

He then runs into Yang.

Yang: What, where!?

Russell: Back there, it's got Cardin!

Pyrrha and Nina drop their jars of sap.

Pyrrha: Jaune!

Nina: Isaac!

Ruby: Yang, you and Blake go get Professor Goodwitch.

Pyrrha: You two, go with them, there could be more.

Nina: Kayla, you're on me, Leon, follow them.

Back to Cardin, who is still being chased by the ursa, it leaps in front of him and knocks him over.

Cardin: Crap, crap, crap!!!

Pyrrha, Ruby, Weiss, Nina, and Kayla come through to see Cardin under attack, but just before the ursa can finish him, Jaune runs in and blocks it's attack. Jaune then backs it off and slashes, the ursa stumbles back and tries to retaliate, but Jaune dodges only to be caught off guard and hit. Jaune quickly recovers and charges only to get hit again, he gets up and finds his aura is in the red, he charges the ursa, and in a swift motion, Pyrrha move his shield to block the ursa's claw as he decapitates it.

Ruby: Uh, what?

Weiss: How did you?

Pyrrha: Well, Ruby has her speed, you have your glyphs, my semblance is polarity.

Ruby: Ah, you can control poles?

Weiss: No you dunce, it means she has control over magnetism.

Ruby: Magnets are cool too.

Pyrrha starts walking away.

Weiss: Wait, where are you going?

Ruby: Yeah, we gotta tell them what happened.

Kayla: Don't just walk out on us.

Pyrrha: We could, or perhaps, we could just keep it our little secret.

Pyrrha walks away, while Jaune helps up Cardin.

Cardin: Holy crap, Jaune?

Jaune: Don't ever mess with my team, my friends, ever again, got it?

Jaune walks away while Isaac walks with him.

Isaac: That was pretty awesome, your folks would be very proud.

Jaune: Yeah, thanks.

Back at Beacon

Kayla: Interesting field trip everybody.

Leon: Kinda enjoyed watching Cardin get his.

Isaac: No you didn't, because it didn't happen yet.

Leon: What are you talking about Coonie?

Isaac: Nina and I have left them a "coming home gift".

Kayla: And what gift is that?

Isaac: Take a look.

Isaac pulls out his scroll as he and his team watch team CRDL getting stung repeatedly by rapier wasps through a hidden camera, laughing all the while.
