Leon suddenly wakes up after hearing a voice call him in his sleep, the first thing he does is look around to discover the Isaac isn't there.

Leon: Guys, guys, everyone wake up!

Nina: *Jolts awake* what's going on, are we under attack!?

Leon: No, Isaac's not here!

Kayla: *sits up* what, then where is he?

Team N_KL hears a pained scream in the distance.

Nina: Did you guys hear that?

Leon:*leaps to his feet* ISAAC! *grabs his sword and leaps through a nearby window*

Nina: Is it me, or has Leon become a lot more intense overnight?

Kayla: We should probably hurry, if Leon's serious Isaac is most likely going to die.

The two ladies grab their weapons and hurry off behind Leon.

Over with Isaac, just as he was about to be mauled by the very same grimm he had been searching for, the same figure that has watched over Isaac since he started at Beacon landed in front of Isaac's unconscious body, the figure was wearing a short black coat and death stalker mask that concealed his being.

???: Who are you!?

Lightingsign: I am LightningSign, alley to peace, enemy to you!

???: Get out of my way, or I will kill you!

LightningSign's only response was to draw a curved hilted dueling saber, the creature roared out in rage before charging at LightningSign, who slung Isaac's body over his shoulder and leaped up to the second floor, Lightningsign set Isaac down before jumping back down and delivering a lightning charged punch to the creature's face.

???: RAHH, I'll make you bleed!

Leon: *calling in the distance* Isaac, Isaac can you hear me?!

???: *Turns to LightningSign* This is the part where we part ways.

The creature vanishes into the shadows and Leon shows up.

Leon: Isaac, where are *sees LightningSign* you, what have you done to Isaac!?

LightningSign: Who are you!?

Leon: *Points sword at LightingSign* someone you oughta be afraid of.

LightningSign: You don't wanna do this.

Leon: Oh, but I do.

Leon starts blinking toward LightingSign before delivering a downward slash, LightningSign expertly blocks it, parries Leon, and stabs him through the chest.

Leon: *looks at the growing red spot and smirks* Heh heh, now you've done it!

Leon grabs LightningSign's saber blade and forces it deeper, then after a few horrifying cracking and ripping noises, Leon's left arm changes to resemble an ursa's, his eyes turn blood red, and his torso hardens into a death stalker like exoskeleton.

LightningSign: What are you!?

Leon buries LightningSign into a concrete wall. LightningSign gets up, retrieves his saber, and fires a few sparks of lightning at Leon, which barely phases him. Leon charges and smashes down, LightningSign dodges then leaps off of Leon's back, landing in front of Isaac. He the slings Isaac's body over his shoulder.

LightningSign: *looks down at Leon* Well it's been fun, but I must be going now, but don't worry, we can play some more tomorrow.

LightningSign raises his hand to the sky, and in a bright flash and a boom of thunder, he disappears, along with Isaac. Leon meanwhile, changes back to normal and falls to his knees, finding Isaac's blade staff on the ground. Shortly after, Nina and Kayla catch up.

Nina: *Stand's above Leon* Leon, what happened here, where's Isaac!?

Leon: I-i I couldn't stop him, he defeated me, and he *Leon holds up Isaac's blade staff* he took Isaac.

Leon then falls unconscious.

Nina: Great, first Isaac, now Leon!

Kayla: We need to figure out where that grimm took Isaac.

Nina: *turns Leon over and points to the stab wound* I don't think a grimm would make a wound like that, you get to bandaging him, I'm gonna look around.

Sanctian then arrives.

Sanctian: What happened here?

Kayla: Isaac's missing, we think that humanoid grimm took him.

Sanctian: And you saw it fit to not tell me!?

Nina: Give Kayla a break, we didn't arrive in time to see it.

Sanctian: This whole mission could have been over if you just told me about this!

Leon: *starts waking up* I-it wasn't the grimm that took him.

Sanctian: Oh really, who than?

Leon: There was this guy, he had a dark coat and mask, he shot lightning everywhere, he was the one who took Isaac.

Sanctian: And which way did he go?

Leon: *weakly points to the second floor* he stood up there with Isaac, then in a bright flash, they were both gone.

Sanctian: In any case, we need to find him, he might not have much time.

Leon: Save... Coonie. *does a mock cheer before falling unconscious again*

Over with Isaac, LightningSign had just brought him to the White Fang hideout, prepared to lock him up. But when he arrived, he was greeted by none other than Roman Torchwick.

Torchwick: And what did our storming assassin bring home?

LightningSign: None of your concern Torchwick.

Torchwick: *chuckles* That's where you're wrong LightningSign, *approaches and sees Isaac* oh, I remember you, you said I was angry, and I still am. Lock him up.

LightningSign: Already on it. *leaves and locks Isaac in a small cage*

Isaac: *starts to come to* Um, uh--.

LightningSign: Finally awake I see.

Isaac: Wha, where am I?

LightningSign: You're in the White Fang's hideout.

Isaac: Wait, the White Fang is here!?

LightningSign: Surprised? You didn't really think that stunt you pulled at our recruitment center would be the end of us, would you?

Isaac: You won't get away with this!

LightningSign: Boldly stated, but it's too late to stop us, goodbye, brother.

Isaac: *looks surprised* What did you call me?

But LightningSign was gone, Isaac sat in his cell in complete silence for what felt like an eternity, when a WF grunt came to his cell door, dragging something behind him.

WF grunt: New roommate for ya. *tosses Ruby into the cell before leaving*

Ruby: *sits up and looks at Isaac* Oh... so we were assigned to the same City huh...?

Isaac: Looks that way, and it would seem we both fell into the same trap.

Ruby: *looks away* Don't remind me...

Isaac: In any language, we need to think of a plan to bust outta here, any ideas?

Ruby: Um no, you?

Isaac: Well, I've been timing the patrols that come by here, about every 20 minutes or so, another pair of guards passes by. *Isaac thinks about it for a moment* Wait I got it!

Ruby: Really, what's the plan?

Isaac: Well for now, we wait for the next patrol.

After about 10 minutes, another patrol came by.

Isaac: Alright, follow my lead. *doubles over and starts screaming*

WF guard 1: Shut up!

Isaac continues to scream.

Ruby: Help us, I think he's dying!

The two guards come to the cell door, they then open the door and step inside.

Isaac: *stops screaming and looks at them* got ya.

WF guard 2: What?

Ruby speeds pass them and slams the door, she and Isaac then proceed to beat the guards unconscious. Meanwhile, outside the hideout, team N_KL's trying to find a way in.

Kayla: I don't see any guards, where are they?

Leon: Well, if no one's gonna greet us, I say we let ourselves in!

Nina: Now, you're speaking my language!

Kayla: Wait, what are they doing here?

Kayla points to a nearby building, Nina and Leon look to see team _WBY and professor Oobleck about to enter as well.

Sanctian: We need to move, the sooner we find your teammate, the sooner we return to our mission.

Team N_KL hurries inside, making sure to avoid team _WBY while doing so. After hiding among a bunch of cargo crates, they find Ruby being escorted by a WF guard.

Leon: Looks like they got Ruby too.

Another guard approaches.

WF guard: You, what's this prisoner doing out of her cell?

Isaac: She tried to escape, I'm moving her to a more secure place.

Nina: I know that voice anywhere, that's Isaac, what's he doing?

WF guard: Very well, carry on *leaves*

As soon as the guard leaves, team N_KL sees Yang leap from cover, grabs Isaac by the neck, and pins him to a nearby wall.

Leon: *runs out from behind cover* woah woah, put him down, that's our teammate you're strangling there.

Sanctian: Do what he says blondie.

Yang: If he's your teammate, then why is he wearing that uniform?!

Isaac: *struggles to speak* R-Ruby and I were trying to let ourselves out before you sideswiped me.

Blake, Weiss, and Oobleck step out of hiding.

Blake: Let him go Yang.

Yang lets Isaac down and he takes off his mask.

Oobleck: You're sneaking behind enemy lines by becoming the enemy? Young man, your a genius!

Isaac: Yeah whatever, now I'm taking this thing off before someone else decides to strangle me.

Leon: You probably shouldn't go anywhere without this. *gives Isaac his bladestaff*

Isaac begins to remove his uniform, but Leon stops him.

Leon: Wait Coonie, these guys still don't know it's you under that mask. I think you should leave that uniform on and find out what these jerks are planning.

Isaac: Leon I don't think--.

Oobleck: Genius, Isaac, you posses the element of surprise, I vote you use it!

Isaac: *grumbles* fine *puts the mask back on*

A squad of White Fang soldiers passes in the distance.

Leon: Join with those guys over there and find out where they're going, we'll cover you. And BTW, Tell them I said "Pineapples are a wonderfully creative fruit".

Weiss: And exactly how will that help him?

Leon: It won't, I just thought they should know.

Isaac snuck up on the squad of WF soldiers before falling in behind them, Isaac marched with them down a long passage before coming to a large cavern. The cavern was crowded with many more White Fang soldiers, and was filled to the brim with crates and strange devices Isaac could only assume were bombs, but at the center of it all was a long express train being loaded with the explosives, in front of the train was Torchwick and LightningSign looking out over the army of soldiers from a makeshift stage made of other crates.

Isaac's mind: Why does this setup look familiar?

Meanwhile, teams NIKL and RWBY were watching the whole thing from a hidden vantage point.

Nina: Wow, they got enough boom in here to knock Vale into the next kingdom.

Leon: No Nina, you can't take any, we need to stop them from using it though...

Torchwick then raises a hand and silences the gathered crowd of soldiers.

Torchwick: People of the White Fang, It's time for our plan to finally come to fruition, with these explosives we have "acquired", we'll send Vale out in a blaze of glory, and the rest of Remnant will learn to fear our name!

The WF soldiers let out a resounding cheer, but at that moment, LightningSign leaned in and whispered something into Torchwick's ear.

Torchwick: People, it has just come to my attention that we have a traitor in our midst!

Isaac starts panicking as the other soldiers start muttering to themselves.

Kayla: You don't think they?

Torchwick: *silences the crowd* Enough, we know you're here Isaac, step forward now, and I might consider mercy.

Leon: Anyone else think I should run in head first?

Nina: I'm right behind you.

Yang: Let's do it.

Only a few seconds after agreeing with Leon, he suddenly appears on the makeshift stage and slugs LightningSign.

Torchwick: *raises his cane in offence* we've been compromised, fire up the engine!

All hell breaks loose as the White Fang soldiers in the cavern scramble to load more crates on the train and board it themselves. Isaac meanwhile sweeps his way through the chaos by riding on a small tornado.

Isaac: *parries a blow from Torchwick and lands next to Leon* what are you doing?!

Leon: Hey don't look at me, you're the one who almost get himself caught.

As everyone else joins the carnage, the train suddenly jerks forward and starts chugging down it's track.

Torchwick: *looks at Leon and Isaac* well gentlemen, I wish I could stay but I got a train to catch.

Torchwick boards the train as everyone else catches up.

Leon: Ruby, Yang, you lot, get on that train and get to work, Isaac, Nina, Kayla, and I'll beat these White Fang turds into the dust.

Isaac: I'm not letting LightningSign get away, I got a personal score to settle with him!

Leon: *grabs Isaac and gives hims a deathly serious look* no, I'm not trusting you not to get yourself killed.

Isaac: Sorry Leon, I do what I gotta do. *boards the train without another word*

Nina: *bludgeons a WF soldier* Leon, gimme a hand!

Leon: On it! *looks over his shoulder* Isaac...

Isaac runs halfway up the train before jumping inside one of the cars, inside he finds LightningSign issuing orders to a few soldiers.

Isaac: *points his blade staff* turn assassin.

LightningSign: *motions for his soldiers to leave* so you decided to board without a pass *draws dueling saber* now I take it upon myself to eject you.

Isaac: Just one question, why did you call me brother?

LightningSign: You will see.

LightningSign and Isaac charge for each other and cross blades, LightningSign punches Isaac with a lightning charged punch. Isaac recovers quickly and flings LightningSign into the far wall with a wind gust. LightningSign attempts to deliver a downward strike, which Isaac blocks, Issac then pushes LightningSign's saber off his blade staff, then with a well timed slash, Isaac breaks LightningSign's mask in two, and knocks him off his feet with a well placed kick.

Isaac: *starts walking up to LightningSign* you've taken your last contract assassin.

LightningSign sits up and looks at Isaac, who gets a clear view of his face. LightningSign's face looked unkept, with a few stray hairs on his chin and lip. His hair was midnight black and his eyes were a dark gray.

Isaac: *steps back in surprise* G-Gareth, what!?

Gareth: *stands up* Yes, it's me brother, although the years have been unkind.

Isaac: But why?

Gareth simply shoots lightning at Isaac, stunning him. When Isaac gets up, Gareth had disappeared.

Leon: *enters the train car* Isaac what were you thi-- uh Isaac, you ok? You look like you saw a ghost.

Isaac: I saw something. Wait, where's everyone else?

Leon: Don't worry, white fang members aren't the best fighters. Especially when Nina's furious... *a shiver goes down his spine* What happened with the Assassin?

Isaac: He ran off.

Leon: Well dang, I thought we were gonna have some crazy epic showdown or something.

Isaac: *picks up a piece of Gareth's mask* I'm more concerned what was under his mask.

Leon: Spooked? Seems like there's some deep connection here or something.

Isaac: Deeper than you know.

Leon: Well... Let's see how the rest of th- *Leon's image shimmers for a moment* We might wanna get off now... I think this is our stop.

Isaac: Wait, what do you mean?

Leon: Just trust me.

Isaac: *retrieves broken mask piece* alright, let's get off this crate.

Leon: Done and done, alright, you might feel a bit queezy, a lot of people don't like it when I do that. *Leon lays a hand on Isaac's shoulder, and in an instant, both of them appear on a street in Vale*

Isaac: *clutches stomach* W-what was that?

Leon: Most call it teleportation, I call it a semblance.

Isaac: Looks like we're back in Vale, why bring us here?

As if on cue, the same train they were just on smashes through a nearby wall with a loud crash.

Leon: That answer your question?

But it didn't stop there, grimm of all kinds began to swarm through the breach.

Isaac: Wait what, where did they come from!!??

Leon: Dude, they were following the train, like... the entire time... I'mma go kill things...

Isaac: Right behind you.

Leon: *draws his sword as a wicked smirk crosses his face* Let's get to it. *in an instant, Leon appears yards away and cleaves through a beowolf.

Four uras and a king taijitu surround Isaac.

Isaac: *calmly draws his blade staff* today's weather calls for cloudy, with a chance of TORNADO!

Isaac engulfs himself in a large tornado and sweeps the ursa away, Isaac then leaps out of the tornado and cuts out one of the black taijitu's fangs before kicking it into the head of the white taijitu.

Isaac: Yeah, have a taste of your own venom!

The black taijitu hisses in unbridled fury and lunges at Isaac, Isaac jumps to a nearby streetlight and taunts the black taijitu to attack. When it does so, Isaac dodges and the black taijitu impales it's head on top of the streetlight.

Isaac: Order up, one hiss kabob!

Axel and his gang ride in, and Isaac hopps on the back of Axel's motorcycle.

Axel: *looks back at Isaac* We'll take five of those to go.

Isaac: *sees two beowolves approaching* excellent choice, that'll be two beowolves please.

Axel pulls out his double barreled shotgun and shoots the beowolves as he drives past.

Axel: Will that cover it?

Isaac: It sure will.

Axel stops his bike and sees Coco blasting nevermores out of the sky with her mini gun.

Axel: Woah, who is she?

Isaac: Oh her? that's Coco, a second year student at Beacon.

Axel: She's awesome!

Isaac: Why not go talk to her?

Leon: *blinks past* Stop lollygagging, there's a pack of ursa wrecking that old dude's shop!

Axel: *draws a pair of bowie knives from his boots* right, I got this! *runs into the shop screaming*

With a few more grimm and obnoxious kabooms, the White Fang was defeated and Vale was saved.

Leon: *leans against a wall, looking at his right hand* What a wild ride, huh Isaac? Speaking of rides, who's the bikers?

Isaac: Those are Nina's friends and family, their leader's her bro. And by the way *leans into Leon's ear* he has a crush on Coco

Leon: Yeah, I heard. *shoves his hands in his pockets* Speaking of Nina, where is she?

Nina shows up clutching her side, along with Kayla.

Nina: Here.

Leon: Whoa, what happened to you two?!

Nina: There was just too many of them, one of them got me good, but I'll live.

Leon: Here, lemme give you a hand, I'm a lot better for wear.

Leon starts helping Nina walk.

Axel: *steps out of the shop cleaning his knives, then he notices Nina* Woah, Nina you good?

Kayla: She took a hit during our battle, but she'll be alright.

Jarrod then enters being escorted by two knights of the Order.

Leon: Who's this dipstick?

Jarrod: For your information, I am Kayla's father, and leader of the Order of the Maidens. *give Leon a cold glare* you would do well to address me as such.

Leon: Not much for hierarchy's, I'll respect you as an individual, so I'll call ya Jerry. Nice to meet you.

Jarrod: Silence, guards, arrest this trash talker!

Kayla: *steps in the way* Please father, that's just how he is!

Jarrod: Get out of my way, or I'll lock you up too!

Leon: *laughs* Man, and I thought Goodwitch was stuck up, how bout this Jerry, if I can beat your goons in a fight with a hand tied behind my back you let my transgressions pass, just this once?

Jarrod: Very well, guards.

The two knight draw a broadsword and tower shield and drop into a fighting stance.

Leon: Isaac, left hand, tie it behind my back. *he then smirks, sizing up the knights*

Isaac: *finishes* uh, let the fight begin, or something.

Leon blinks forward, landing a solid kick on the right knight's head, sending him tumbling before dropping and sweeping the left knight's feet from underneath him. The two knights stand up, the right one takes a swing at Leon's right leg. Leon leaps up, and stomps on the knight's sword, breaking it in half.

Leon: That all you got? *He spins, landing a heavy blow to the side of the guards head*

The other knight starts to look concerned, and raises his tower shield in anticipation.

Leon: *blinks behind him, and taps him on his shoulder* really? Gonna turtle on me?

The knight drops his shield and swipes at Leon's chest.

Leon: *Blinks behind him again* C'mon, that all you got? Keep pace man... *he drops low, sweeping his legs from beneath him, kicking his sword from his reach before planting a foot on his chest* These your best men Jerry?

Jarrod: *strokes his chin* hmm, clearly I made the right choice in choosing the Order's champions

Leon: Yeah, whatever, we clean Jerry? *he motions isaac over to remove the rope*

not listening to Leon, Jarrod fires a furious glare at the two knights.

Jarrod: You two should be ashamed of yourselfs for such a humiliating defeat, I outta demote both of you!

Isaac: Um Jarrod, you probably shouldn't be doing this, after all, failure is the best teacher.

Jarrod: *turns his wrath on Isaac* I will not accept leadership advice from the likes of you! You want to be a huntsmen, someone like you would be better off with the White Fang!

Nina: *pushes off the wall she was leaning on and gets in Jarrod's face* hey, hey, no one talks to Isaac like that!

Jarrod raises his palm, as if about to smack Nina.

Leon: *blinks beside Jarrod, and death grips his wrist* Think twice old man.

Jarrod: *puts a hand on his glaive and pulls it out of it's scabbard slightly* release me, or so help me I will cut you down!

Leon: *chuckles* So long as you're attacking me I'm fine with it. Just don't her n- er my friends. Am I understood? Sir?

Jarrod releases a burst of sunlight, blinding everyone around him.

Jarrod: Order, retreat, this isn't over fool! *Jarrod and the knights leave*

Leon: *mumbles under his breath* pathetic whelp.

Isaac: Kayla, was your dad always that intense?

Kayla: Not always, he holds himself and his followers at high standards, and sees anyone who would deny that fact as heretics.

Nina: And how did he become leader?

Kayla: The position was passed to him from the last leader, who grew too old to hold it himself.

Leon: Man, your dad's a jerk. On a lighter note, After a chaotic couple a days, I think a trip to the circus would be nice, my treat.

Isaac: Wait circus, did you say circus?

Leon: yeah, the one with the faunatics or whatever, it'll be good for a laugh and some crappy food at the least.

Isaac: *gets nervous* it wouldn't happen to be run by someone who calls himself "Dr,Bamboozle"?

Leon: I think? Crazy rainbow suit and top hat? *pulls out his scroll* I snagged a picture of the poster.

Isaac: *takes one look* I'll be right back.

Isaac calmly walks walks away, a few moments later, they could hear him screaming in panic.
