The day was bright and you haven't had much sleep you as had been thinking about what could of happened to the Brigs. You had Doctor Oobleck next maybe you could have a look the stuff you need maybe even find some dust, but you didn't think they would have any in Beacon. you would have to find a different source of dust. 

After a bit of searching you didn't have much metal but it was a clean black color, but at least you could make the sword. You looked at the time and noticed the lesson was about to start you hid the metal just in case anyone took it off you. You started heading to Oobleck's class but you noticed Ozpin enter your room. Hopefully he doesn't find the metal you thought. 

You entered Oobleck's class last and took a seat at the back you might even fall asleep. You didn't like history but since you don't know anything about Remnant so you decided to try and stay awake, but Jaune he was defiantly asleep. 

Oobleck was on about a war between faunus and human and how someone tried to attack a fort at night but failed he went up to Jaune and asked him what advantage the faunus had over the general. You quickly told Embers about the war just so you have the answer. 

Jaune hesitated but answered binoculars and everyone burst into laughter. Embers told you that she checked the archives and the answer was night vision.  

Oobleck: Cardin do you know the answer?

Cardin: Well I know it's a lot easier to train an animal than a human.

Weiss: The answer is night vision.

Blake: You would of learned it if you payed attention in class.

Cardin didn't look happy at that comment as he walk out in a huff.

Time Skip Lunch

It was lunch and the teams where getting something to eat. You where almost asleep until you heard someone scream in pain.

You looked to see that it was a faunus with rabbit ears getting picked on by Cardin. You where talking to RWBY and JNPR.

Blake: That makes me disused.

Ruby: Wasn't Oobleck  talking about that kind of behavior.

(Y/N): Yes, an I'm going to do something about it.

Ren: What are you going to do, you can't treating him?

Nora: He can break his legs.

(Y/N): That could work but I don't want to get kicked out.

Weiss: So what are you going to do?

(Y/N): Fight him and his team in the arena.

Yang: On your own?

(Y/N): Maybe.

You made your way over to Cardin as you made your way, you caught the attention of most of the students.

(Y/N): So who's Cardin?

???: Depends what you want.

(Y/N): I want to fight him and his team.

Cardin: Fine but don't think it will be easy.

(Y/N): You don't scare me.

You went to make your way back but Cardin sent Sky to attack you but you simple grab his arm and send him back to Cardin with a message. Leave it for the arena.

You got back and they where still in shock that you could catch his attack. Ruby broke the silence by asking who you want to help you.

(Y/N): Jaune you up for helping?

Jaune: Me, I'm not that good.

(Y/N): Good see you there. Got to put something on.

You left and headed to you dorm and Embers started talking to you.

Embers: That's brave. The odds of Jaune staying in the fight are low.

(Y/N): Don't worry he'll be fine.

Embers: Why did you pick him?

(Y/N): He has potential.

Embers: To fail.

(Y/N): Trust me. Anyway They haven't seen how the boosters help.

Embers: You didn't use them in the intonation.

You got to your dorm and changed into you grapple suit.I have one hidden advantage you thought. You quickly headed to Glenda's class.

As you Entered everyone looked at you. Glenda wasn't happy that you where a bit late but she let you off with a warning.

Glenda: Your late.

(Y/N): Sorry just had to get something.

Cardin: Started to think you weren't going to show.

(Y/N): Well I'm here now aren't I. Come on Jaune.

You got a text of Phyrrha saying to not let him take too many hits. You sent one back saying that you have something up your sleeve.

Glenda: CRDL are you ready?

CRDL: Ready.

Glenda: Jaune and (Y/N) are you ready?

(Y/N): Ready.

Jaune: Ready.

Glenda started the count down and you got your grappling hook ready to throw.

Glenda: 3. . . 2. . . 1. . . Start.

You instantly throw your grappling hook at sky and boost into him knocking him outside the bounds.

Glenda: Sky is eliminated.

You went to go for Dove but you realized Jaune was getting double teamed so you throw you grappling hook at him and flung him towards you so that you could check his aura. You had a look at his aura level and noticed it was yellow because of this you told him to hang back as you jumped then used you boost to boost yourself towards them. As you where attacking the three of them your pilot enhancements started to show, because you could take a couple hits before knocking Russel out cold.

Glenda: Russel is eliminated.

You went back to Jaune and you showed him your aura level.

Jaune: How is it not even orange?

(Y/N): Took on bigger and more than this. Plus a lot of training and a couple of enhancements. 

Jaune: Enhancements?

(Y/N) Watch out.

You pushed him away and focused on Dove. You stated messing with him a bit but you got bored so you threw him out of bounds. You turned around to see Jaune get eliminated because his aura level had gotten to low.

Glenda: Dove and Jaune are eliminated.

Cardin: Just me and you.

(Y/N): A fair fight.

Cardin: This will be fun.

(Y/N): Depended if you can catch me.

You grappled near the edge and because of your taunt Cardin came running at you. You jumped out the way using you boost and Cardin nearly ran out of the boundaries. Almost you thought as you used anther grapple and made him come closer as you threw the punch he tried to forfeit but he left it to late as you knocked him out.

Glenda: Cardin Eliminated. Jaune and (Y/N) win, well done (Y/N).

Everyone looked in shock as they didn't think you could win. You went to check on Jaune as his aura level was low.

Both Team RWBY and the rest of Team JNPR came to concatenate you.

Ren: Well done. 

(Y/N): Thanks Ren.

Pyrrha: Is he ok?

(Y/N): He will be, just let him get some rest.

Pyrrha: Thank you.

Yang: Your stem balance must be a mix of speed and strength.

(Y/N): No that's just my enhancements.

Nora: What are enhancements?

(Y/N): Just something that makes me stronger and faster.

Nora: Ok.

Ozpin walked in and told you that he wanted to speck with you.
