(Y/N) POV

After team JNPR's match Blake and I stick around for the next match, which was team NDGO vs team SSSN. Weiss is obviously excited about the upcoming match but I was less than pleased. When the field came up there was a big body of water and this when I realized Neptune is afraid of water, plus it didn't help that Weiss was now mad at him for flirting with the girls on the other team. Long story short team SSSN somehow pulled a victory out of their ass and won the match. As team RWBY and I go to congratulate them, for some reason, Weiss then gets excited about a Atlas aircraft coming in to land. Afterwards, Blake decides to take me for a walk in the park just to be with eachother. As we're walking, I feel a menacing presence closing in on us. I turn around and push Blake out of the way, as I get tackled by another lion.

Blake POV

I quickly recover from (Y/N) pushing me and I see his lion's wrath doing battle with a slightly smaller lion. The smaller one goes to tackle, but (Y/N) was ready and countered him by throwing him over his shoulders and then pins his head and back legs.

(Y/N): Who are you?!

????: Hahaha, is that any way to greet your little brother.

The smaller lion stops fighting back and (Y/N) lets him up and they both transform back. (Y/N) then looks to see if I'm ok, before turning back to the attacker and it is in fact (Y/N) younger brother, Eric.

(Y/N) POV

(Y/N): What are you doing here, Eric?

Eric: I came to find you, rumors that your still alive is spreading through the White Fang like wildfire.

(Y/N): Don't tell me your with the White Fang, too.

Eric: Not out of free will, Uncle forced me into doing their dirty work. *turns to Blake* Hello Blake, it's honestly good to see you again.

Blake: *hesitantly* Likewise.

Eric: Don't worry I'm not working for them right now. I just came to see if the rumors were true.

I then decide to test his resolve and open my arms, he sees this and doesn't waste time throws himself into a meaningful brotherly hug. I don't get the feeling that he wants to betray us, we pull away from eachother and Eric then tells me.

Eric: Brother, we've really needed you back in Menagerie.

(Y/N): Their fine alright no one needs me.

Blake: I need you.

I look apologetically at Blake and she takes as sorry, and smiles back at me. Eric then goes on to explain.

Eric: Uncle pulled a curtain over the eyes of the faunus back home. They don't even know what's happened or what might happen. Even your parents don't know what goes on here Blake.

Blake: No, my dad would've-

Eric: He did try, Uncle warned him to not pry.

Blake looked helpless so I put a hand on her shoulder and she quickly holds me into a much needed hug. Eric then gets a text on his scroll, then tells us he needs to go but we should be careful of anything out of the ordinary. Eric then disappeared and I continue holding Blake, she is scared and all I can think to do is hug her.

Timeskip Next Day

Blake and I are sitting in the stands watching Yang and Weiss against a couple from Atlas. Team FNKI, they were strange to say the least, but effective at being annoying. As the fight ensues Weiss faces off against Flynt, who seems to have a personal vendetta against her family, while Yang has to face down a girl with rollerblades and is calling her fat and top heavy, that's never a good idea. Weiss isn't fairing any better against Flynt, he is using his trumpet to disrupt Weiss's creation of glyphs. It also didn't help that Flynt activated his semblance, Flynt knocks Weiss to the ground and turns his attention to Yang, who is not paying attention to him. Flynt is then knocked into a fire vent, Weiss is knocked out but Flynt is still standing. Yang is now pissed and activates her semblance, she quickly overpowers Flynt and knocks him out then focuses on crazy rollerblade girl. Yang puts down rollerblades and wins the match, she quickly checks on Weiss, who is a little worse for wear but otherwise ok.

Flynt: You risked yourself for your teammate, I dig it.

With that Ruby gets, Weiss to the medics for smoke inhalation. Blake and I head to her dorm and we sit in silence content in eachothers company. I can tell Blake is still a bit worried about the situation in Menagerie, so I decide to try and cheer her up.

(Y/N): You know, we haven't been on a date in a while, what do you say we go do something.

Blake: I know what your doing, your trying to get me to have fun to take my mind off home.

(Y/N): Is it working?

Blake:....*kisses (Y/N) on the lips* Yeah, I think so.

(Y/N): Well, I know a diner with the best cherry pie in the kingdom.

Blake: Best idea all day.

(A/N): I am so, so sorry about the lateness of this chapter. I don't have a good excuse but I hope this makes up for it. It's just Blake doesn't get alot of character development in this volume so I had to make up this volumes as I go along so hope you enjoy. Have a great day. PEACE OUT.
