Timeskip 3 days after the Fall of Beacon

(Y/N) POV

     I slowly wake up and look around to see where I am. I then hear a voice and see my brother.

Eric: Hey rise and shine big brother.

(Y/N): *grunts* What happened?

Eric: You were found near the Emerald forest, it's a miracle you even survived with all the blood you lost.

(Y/N): Adam, he get away?

Eric: Yeah, you did a real number on him, though it won't take him long to recover.

(Y/N): What happened to the school did they get everyone out?

Eric: Most, but not all.

(Y/N): What do mean?

     Eric gains a sorrowful look on his face.

Eric: For one Ozpin is missing, some think he's dead and your friend Pyyrha....

(Y/N): What is it Eric?

Eric: Pyrrha is dead, she tried fighting the woman responsible for the attack, but she didn't make it.

     I sit there in disbelief, Pyrrha and were pretty good friends and we sparred with one another several times. Then I asked a question that has always occupied my mind.

(Y/N): Where is Blake?

Eric: She was here yesterday to check up on you, but I think she left, no idea where she went.

     I think about it for a moment, she must think the White Fang and Yang losing her arm was her fault. I then think of the one thing she would do.

(Y/N): I think I know.

Eric: Really, where?

(Y/N): She's going home.

Timeskip Next Day

Blake POV

     I am at the docks about to disembark from Vale and head home to Menagerie. I then feel a presence behind me and after what happened at Beacon I'm a little jumpy. I turn around with my hand on Gambol Shroud and surprisingly see (Y/N) standing there.

Blake: *gasps* (Y/N), your awake.

(Y/N): Good morning to you too, kitten.

      I couldn't believe it, but then again he has survived worse. I am still trying to process what's going on, when (Y/N) cups my cheek. I hold his hand with mine and lean into his warmth, as I start to cry a little. I move closer to him and wrap my arms around his neck to which he winced in pain, because I forgot about  his collarbone injury. I was about to pull away, but (Y/N) then wrapped his other arm around my waist and pulled me in for a kiss. I melt into it and every second feels like an eternity. We stay like this until I hear the boat horn sound, I pull away and realize we are the last to board. I was about to say something, when (Y/N) grabs my hand and we board the ship.

Blake: But, why?

(Y/N): Ask me a serious question. You really thought I couldn't figure out where you were going.

Blake: It's not that. It's just, what made you come back?

(Y/N): Well one, you are my girlfriend who I would follow anywhere you went. And I finally got some sense knocked into me.

     I just stood there smiling holding back tears, I was just happy to have my best friend back.

Unknown Location

(Y/N)'s Uncle POV

     I sit in my office working on ways to tighten my grip over the faunus people, when I get a call from Adam.

Uncle: Adam, what news do you have?

Adam: I'm sure you've seen the news of our involvment in the Fall of Beacon.

Uncle: Indeed, you and the others have done well, with this the humans will fear us and never again challenge us.

Adam: One more thing, I fought against (Y/N) during the attack. He has gotten powerful, I barely managed to defeat him, but I am certain he walked away from the fight alive and well. It's likely he will try to return to Menagerie soon.

Uncle: Let me deal with my nephew and you can have your way with the Belladonna girl.

Adam: Yes sir. I will be seeing Sienna Khan and assuming power soon, be ready for the fallout.

Uncle: I have everything prepared.

     With that I hang up and ponder how I am going to take care of my nephew.

Back on the Boat Later that Night

(Y/N) POV

     I am resting with Blake in my arms in our ship cabin, Blake then shifts around to lay directly on top of me. I open my eyes to her amber eyes staring at me. She leans closer and kisses me, she lays her head back down on my chest and purrs as I stroke her ears. I know she is not feeling quite right because of qhat happened, so I have to be ready for when she needs me. But for now we are content with being in eachother presence and thats good enough for me. The real fight is only just beginning, and it will take all of our strength and skills to ensure the survival of both faunus and humankind alike.

(A/N): Alright, I know this chapter was kind of short, but I couldn't get much futher without getting into volume 4. But yeah, that's volume 3 complete, I am sorry for the lateness of this volume, I hope this makes up for it though. Thank you for your continued support, and have a great rest of your day.
