Blake POV

     (Y/n) and I have been having little success with getting people's help and it's starting to look like we may be on our own. Tonight though (Y/n) told me he needs to take care of something in the forest tonight, alone.

Blake: Are you sure you don't want me to come with, my love.

(Y/n): I would love to have you come, but I fear the more people know whats going on the more danger I put you in. I will be back, I promise.

Blake: I know, I guess I'm just worried.

     (Y/n) walks up to me and kneels down to me and gently pulls me into a kiss. I wrap my arms around his neck and deepen the kiss, just then my dad walks in and I can tell he's looking at us but I don't care, I continue kissing (Y/n), despite (Y/n)'s wanting to pull away to please dad. I finally let him pull away but I don't let go and tell him.

Blake: I love you, so very much.

(Y/n): I love you too.

     With that (Y/n) got up and finally pried me off him and got going to the forest.

(Y/n) POV

     I make my way into the thick forest and finally hear some familiar voices talking faintly in the distance.

Cassie: Come on Eric, why are we really here?

Bruno: Yeah, what's with the all the secrecy?

Tyler: Yeah, I was busy cleaning my feathers, you know how I get about schedules.

Simon: I swear Tyler, you are getting more and more obsessed with your feathers.

Tyler: I have to keep them clean to fly, you know that.

Eric: Guys, relax, I promise it's important.

Cassie: What could be so important? The White Fang is preparing to attack Haven, we have to do something to stop Adam or Ben.

Bruno: But what can we do against them?

(Y/n): Hmph, tough question.

      My friends and brother look at me in surprise and Bruno, a giant of a faunus with an even bigger heart, immediately gets all emotional and hugs me really tight.

Bruno: Ben told us what happened and I almost broke down right there. I'm so glad you're okay.

(Y/n): *struggling to breath* Bruno.... air...

Bruno: *lets me go* Sorry.

(Y/n): That's okay. How you all holding up?

Tyler: Honestly, it's been difficult. Things in the White Fang have turned from protests to full on war preparations.

Simon: Yeah things have gotten more heated since you were pronounced dead.

Eric: It seems your speech has made others in the White Fang question their morales.

Cassie: Guys why are we telling him all this, it could be an imposter or-

Eric: Cassie, this really is (Y/n) and he is trying to do right by the Faunus.

Cassie: He ran out on all of us don't you remember that? How is he any better than Adam or Ben?

Eric: But he came back, he realized that running away wasn't the right thing to do and he-

(Y/n): Enough.

Eric: Brother?

(Y/n): I'm not here to justify my actions, I know what I did but now I am here to ask for your help. The people of Menagerie need people they can really look up to, people that will do whatever it takes to do what is right and bring about true peace between us and the humans. Menagerie needs, The Lion Guard.

Cassie: The Lion Guard?

Tyler: You mean us?

Bruno: I don't know, (Y/n).

Simon: I love the idea but we were just a bunch of kids when we made that up.

Eric: I have to admit, even I'm a little skeptical about this.

(Y/n): We may have started the Lion Guard when we were younger but we stood for a cause much greater than ourselves. I ask you to put aside your personal feelings for the humans because right now they are facing a threat much bigger than us. War. A war that will destroy all of us if we don't do something to stop Adam from dragging us all with him.

Eric: *smirks* Well, what do you say guys?

Simon: Yeah! Let's do this!

Tyler: If you really think we have a chance, then I'll stand with you.

Bruno: We are the Lion Guard and the world needs us.

Cassie: *after a moment* Are we gonna hug now or can we go punch someone?

Eric: Count me in, I've always got your back brother.

(Y/n): Alright, here is my scroll signal, I will let you know when we need to strike. For now though, keep a low profile and do everything you can to weaken the White Fang here.

Cassie: You can count on us.

(Y/n): One last thing, if you're going to join the Lion Guard, you need the mark of the Guard.

     I walk to all of them and tatoo the mark of the Guard onto their shoulders.

     With that we all hug one another and I head back to the Belladonna house and it's gotten late. I walk in the house and head into the living room and see Blake still up, reading, I see her ears twitch to let me know she heard me and she turns to me and smiles.

Blake: How did it go?

(Y/n): Pretty good, all things considered. But now how bout we get some sleep, we've got work to do.

Blake: *giggles* Alright, your majesty.

(Y/n): I don't think I'll ever get used to that.

      Blake giggles more and we head up to bed, halfway up the stairs I pick her up bridal style and Blake starts laughing and trying to get away as I tickles her sides. We finally make it to bed and I set Blake down and removes my armor as Blake just undresses and puts her pj's on. I join Blake on the bed and we get under the covers and snuggle as close as we can to each other. I kiss Blake's forehead, Blake then looks up and kisses my lips and we lip lock until the need for air becomes unbearable. Blake then stares at me with her beautiful amber colored eyes and smiles at me.

(Y/n): I love you, Kitten.

Blake: I love you, Lion cub.

     We kiss one more time and snuggle close and fall asleep, content in eachothers presence. I love this woman so much and I wouldn't trade her for anything.
