(Y/n) POV

My friends and I are getting ready to leave the Monastery, when Eric walks up to me and asks.

Eric: So, what's next, big brother?

(Y/n): Well, you and the Lion Guard need to head back to Menagerie and help Ghira.

Eric: Alright, back home we- wait us? What about you?

(Y/n): Well Adam is still out there and I intend to bring him to justice. Then I hope to get to Atlas and reconnect with Blake and her friends.

Eric: But what will we do without our leader?

(Y/n): Eric, you have led the Lion Guard masterfully, and I know the Faunus will be safe in your hands.

Eric then hugs me and I hug back, I know this won't be easy for him but I know he can do it. We seperate and I say my goodbyes to everyone at the Monastery and then the Lion Guard. I then turn North to Argus.

(Y/n): I'm coming Blake.

Blake POV

After we told team JNR about Salem being immortal, Oscar supposedly ran away. After searching for Oscar, Ruby talked some sense into her uncle and Jaune actually had the idea to steal an Atlas airship, which was risky but necessary given the circumstances. So, next morning Yang and I got the job to disable the radar, we head out a little earlier than the others because it's a little bit of a drive. As we approach the tower, we hear over our comms that the plan is in motion and Maria and Weiss have hijacked an airship, time for our step in the plan. Terra Cotta, Jaune's sister-in-law, goes over how to disable the radar.

Terra Cotta: Ok, remember. One, the radar is separate from the rest of the communication equipment. So if you disconnect it properly it won't take out the comms in the rest of the city. Two, this conversation never happened.

Blake: Don't worry, this isn't the first time I've disabled Atlas security.

Terra: *not impressed* Never happened.

We stop a little ways down the trail, I get off the bike and Yang asks.

Yang: You sure you don't want me to come with?

Blake: More intruders means we're more likely to get spotted. Besides, stealth isn't exactly your- *Yang crosses her arms* Uh, I mean, you're great. And I'll hurry back.

Yang: *smirks* Go, before I change my mind.

Blake: *over comms* Heading to the relay tower on foot. I shouldn't be long.

I make into the tower and strangely find it abandoned, I didn't want to take any chances so I moved as stealthily as I can and finally get to the tower. I start climbing the tower and come across a dead Atlas soldier, I freaked out a little at first, I recompose myself and continue up the tower until I hear the sound of fighting. I make my way to find out the source of the fighting and see the one man I hoped I'd never have to worry about again.

Adam: Alone at last.

Adam strikes but I am quick to use my Semblance to avoid his attack and I get to a floor above him and take cover, I then move out from behind cover with my pistol.

Blake: Leave me alone!

I take three shots at Adam and he simply uses part of his Semblance to block my shots.

Adam: You have no idea how long I waited for you to be away from your friends.

I try to escape the tower but Adam is too quick and catches up with me in the forest just outside the compound and with my scroll damaged I was on my own. I fought with everything I had to make Adam go away, but he was relentless. I tried to evade and attack but lost my coat in the process. Our fight eventually moves to a land bridge in front of a waterfall, and I just now realized that Adam managed to cut my side. Adam continued his attack and eventually broke my katana and points his sword at me as I lay on the ground unable to defend myself.

Adam: I tried to give you a world where the Faunus would no longer live in fear of prejudice from the humans.

Blake: No you didn't, all you wanted was revenge for what you think the world did to you. You're not a hero, you're a psychopath.

Adam: Is that what you saw in (Y/n)? (Y/n) ran away from you twice.

Blake: No, I abandoned him first when I decided to join you, but he still found me and the only reason he left was to cure himself so he wouldn't bring unintentional harm to others.

Adam: And now you will both die alone. First you, then the lion.

Blake: *hears a motor getting closer* I'm never alone, I love (Y/n) more than I fear you.

Adam tries to strike but I used my Semblance again and avoided his attack and converted what remains of my sword to it's pistol form. And just before Adam can launch another attack, Yang comes ride off the cliff above me and throws her bike at Adam and she herself landed next to me.

Blake: Yang- *groans in pain*

Yang: Take a breather, I can handle him.

Blake: Be careful, his Semblance is like yours. He absorbs attacks into his sword and then let's all out when he's ready.

Yang: Hmph, cheater.

Yang and Adam go at it for some time and while Yang was definitely holding her own, Adam did eventually gain the upper hand. Yang is tossed back towards me and once again as Adam approached I got in between him and Yang and prepare to face Adam.

Adam: You can't beat me, Blake. Why continue fighting like this?

Blake: Because I will not let you hurt anyone else ever again.

Adam: Then you will die along with every single one of those pathetic-

????:

My eyes widen in disbelief at the familiar sound, Adam looks above me and I turn around and look at the top of the cliff and see a very familiar but no less happy sight.

(Y/n): *ROARS*

Blake: *tears starting to form in my eyes* (Y/n).

Adam: Impossible. *turns back to Blake* Hyah!

I turn around and just barely manage to dodge Adam's sword strike, Adam had gained more determination and was really giving it his all and I can just barely keep up and either dodge or block with my heavy blade. Yang jumps back in and tries to disarm Adam but is knocked away again, I use the opportunity to knock Adam off balance but he's just in a blind rage and we can't stop him. Adam goes for me again but is then tackled away by (Y/n), who then transforms into his Faunus form and unsheathes his sword and is also now sporting a round shield. Both men stand and face each other Adam starts.

Adam: You should've stayed away there's no way you can beat me.

(Y/n): So long as you continue to harm innocent people, I will always be there to stop you. But today our feud ends.

3rd Person POV

(Y/n) and Adam clash swords and (Y/n) manages to push Adam off and continue his assault. (Y/n) swings his sword twice, Adam blocks but then (Y/n) spins and kneels to swing his sword at Adam's legs and knock him off balance. (Y/n) then uses his shield's edge and hit Adam in the side of the head. But Adam was unfazed and countered (Y/n) and disarmed (Y/n) of his shield and whittled at (Y/n)'s defense. Adam then knocks (Y/n) to the ground but before Adam can finish (Y/n), Blake throws (Y/n)'s shield to him, (Y/n) blocks Adam's sword and deflects it and strikes with his sword, Blake then hops in and side kicks Adam away from (Y/n). Adam recovers as the couple now double team and try to overwhelm him. Blake jumps in Adam slices but hits her shadow clone and (Y/n) hits Adam's Aura, Blake then hits Adam with her heavy blade. Adam tries to hit Blake while she's open but (Y/n) throws his shield to her, Blake catches it and deflects as (Y/n) kicks Adam's knee and knocks hom to one knee. Blake then throws the shield, it hits Adam in the chest and bounce back to (Y/n), who catches it and blocks a shotgun blast from Adam. Blake then slices with her heavy blade and knock Adam's sword out of the way and spins and kneels as she catches (Y/n)'s shield and deflects Adam's shotgun barrel away from her before he fires, Blake then hits Adam's with her blade and just dodges Adam's sword with her Semblance. (Y/n) blocks the sword with his sword as Blake appears on the other side of him and hits Adam's Aura. Blake then tosses (Y/n) his shield but Adam finally catches a break and knocks (Y/n) away while he's open. Blake then trades sword clashes with Adam to give (Y/n) time to recover, (Y/n) then jumps back in as Blake uses her Semblance to give (Y/n) an opening. (Y/n) deflects Adam's sword strike and hits Adam with the edge of his shield and then front kicks him several feet away. Adam slowly gets back to his feet and looks at Blake and (Y/n) standing next to each other seeing them like this just pisses him off more and he then charges his Semblance to full power. Seeing this (Y/n) quickly gets in front of Blake to block the attack but just before Adam let loose he switches to Yang as his target and throws the attack.

Blake: YANG!

(Y/n) was quicker to react, gets to Yang and pushes her out of the way, but not before he himself was hit by Adam's attack and flung to the other side of the land bridge.

Yang/Blake: (Y/N)!

Adam: Pathetic. Risking himself to save a human.

Blake: That's not pathetic. That is what a king does. HYAH!

Blake kinda loses it and goes on an aggressive assault against Adam but this time she employs her pistol as well as her heavy blade. Blake fights with everything she has for not only herself but for her friends, but Adam does get the upper hand and pulls a fast one and sweeps Blake's feet, knocking her to the ground, Yang tries to help but is quickly knocked away. Adam then stands over Blake and readies his sword to finish her, Blake then notices (Y/n)'s lion form charging Adam. (Y/n) leaps at Adam before he can react to his charge, (Y/n) collides with Adam knocking him several feet away. As they land Adam's weapons are knocked away from him and (Y/n) pins him to the ground, causing Adam to look up at (Y/n) with fear. (Y/n) does hesitate for a moment but then ends using his jaws to ripp Adam's head off his body. Yang helps Blake up as (Y/n) turns to her and transforms back into his Faunus form.

(Y/n): It is finished.

Blake just breaks down and rushes to (Y/n) and throws her arms around him, (Y/n) returns the hug and the two just hold each other, extremely happy to have each other to hold again.

Blake: *through shallow tears* I missed you so much.

(Y/n): I missed you, too.

Blake then leans up but before the pair can reconnect ant further, Yang makes a valid point.

Yang: Hate to break up the love fest, but Ruby and the others need help.

(Y/n): Right, climb on my back and you may want to cover your ears.

(Y/n) transforms back into his lion form and as Blake and Yang climb onto his back he lets out a triumphant roar to the sky to signal his return.

(A/N): Whew, talk about intense. Alright, guys just two more chapters for this book think you can hang in there for that long?
