In the last chapter Liam and Mickey made their way through the Land of Darkness and made it to Evernight Castle! Liam finally met his Grandmother and was able to talk to her. Although Young Xehanort and a hooded Organization Member arrived on the scene.

Liam summoned Way to the Dawn as Mickey also summoned his Keyblade as they both stared down Young Xehanort. "Xehanort, what are you doing here?! Also hand those two over!" Liam demanded as he glared at the younger version of Master Xehanort. "We are here to get one of the last pieces to our plan. As for these two, we have no use for them." Young Xehanort said as the hooded member tossed Mercury and Emerald at Liam and Mickey as they were caught by Panther and Yin. "Gotta admit, those Grimm of yours definitely kept us busy for awhile. Your two lackeys didn't put up much of a fight." The hooded figure said as he pulled down his hood to reveal a man with an eyepatch.

"Xigbar! So your here as well, what are you planning?" Mickey said as he pointed his Keyblade at the sharpshooting Organization Member. "We're here to take that power of grandma over there to control those Grimm. Now stand aside." Xigbar said as he summoned his guns. Young Xehanort summoned his Keyblade as he also seemed ready to fight. "Xigbar, take what we came here for, I'll handle Liam and the King." Young Xehanort said as Xigbar nodded his head in understanding. "Uncle Mick, you take Xigbar, I'll handle Xehanort." Liam said as Mickey along with Yin and Thorn intercepted Xigbar as Liam turned to face Young Xehanort with Panther and Frost.

Mickey vs Xigbar
Mickey hit Xigbar in the back as the sharpshooter was sent sliding across the room. "Should've known it wouldn't be that easy, let's dance mouse!" Xigbar said as he opened fire on Mickey who deflected and dodged the lasers fired at him as he tried to close the distance between himself and Xigbar. Xigbar heard a gunshot as he quickly stopped firing and dodged a shotgun blast from Yin. Thorn ran up to Xigbar and attempted to slash him with her Scythe, but the sharpshooter ducked under the attack. Xigbar kicked Thorn away before returning fire at Yin.
               "So you two want to join in as well? Fine the more the merrier!" Xigbar said as he levitated into the air while hanging upside down as he unleashed a barrage of laser fire. The space in the air around them seemed to distort as lasers flew out of the distorted spots. Mickey deflected and dodged the lasers as Yin and Thorn duck and dove away from the lasers desperately. "Okay what is this guy's deal?!" Yin asked in an annoyed tone as she glared at Xigbar, who was reloading his guns. "Xigbar can manipulate space! Be on your guard!" Mickey said as he charged towards Xigbar, who took aim at him.
Mickey was able to dodge the lasers before jumping into the air and kicking Xigbar in the chest with both his feet. Xigbar was knocked backwards before Mickey appeared behind him and unleashed a power Keyblade combo. Xigbar collapsed to the ground as Mickey landed on the ground in front of him. Xigbar shakily stood you as he let out a small chuckle. "Guess you earned the title of Keyblade Master for a reason! Let's get serious shall we?" Xigbar said as he disappeared as Mickey, Yin, and Thorn looked around for the Organization Sharpshooter.
"Where did he go?!" Thorn said as she looked around for the Organization Member. Mickey looked up to see that Xigbar was in fact floating up near the ceiling of the throne room aiming down at them. "Let's see how you handle this!" Xigbar shouted as he began to rapid fire rain of lasers down upon the trio as they couldn't avoid getting hit by. "How are we supposed to hit him when he's all the way up there?!" Yin growled as she shielded herself with her large claw arm. "Whatever it is we better do it quick or we're all dead!" Thorn said as she blocked as many lasers with her Scythe as she could manage.
Mickey thought about what could be done about Xigbar, then it hit him. "Yin! When. If at goes to reload throw me at him!" Mickey said as Yin turned to look at him. "You sure? Seems kinda risky!" Yin said as she looked at Mickey with a serious look in her eyes. "It's either that or let him keep raining laser shots down on us!" Mickey responded as Yin nodded in understanding. Xigbar's rain of fire ceased as he finally had to reload. "Now!" Mickey shouted as he Jumped into Yin's large claw hand. Trying threw Mickey up at Xigbar with all her strength as Mickey was sent flying into the air towards Xigbar.
Mickey thrust his Keyblade into Xigbar's chest as he let out a pained gasp as all air was knocked out of his lungs. Mickey unleashed attack after attack on Xigbar before finishing the onslaught by delivering a powerful over head slash that sent Xigbar flying towards the ground. Xigbar impacted the ground as cracks appeared in the floor under him. Mickey landed gently on the ground in front of Xigbar and Yin and Thorn surrounded him. "Alright, enough playing around." Xigbar coughed out as he shakily stood back up. "I think your finished you one eyed prick!" Yin growled as Xigbar simply laughed at the Grimm girl's words.
Xigbar disappeared again as he appeared next to Salem before pressing his hand into her torso. Dark energy came out of Salem's body and into some object that Xigbar was holding in his hand. Salem collapsed as Xigbar looked at what appeared to be a card that absorbed the dark energy from Salem's body. "What did you do to Lady Salem?!" Thorn shouted as she glared at the Organization Member. "I just took her little monster creating power, nothing much." Xigbar said with a smug smile as he disappeared once again.

Liam vs Young Xehanort
"So your the boy that Ansem possessed? I must say, I expected more." Young Xehanort said as he summoned his Keyblade as a circle of dark energy surrounded him and Liam, blocking Panther and Frost out. "Funny I expected the Young version of Master Xehanort to not be such an arrogant brat." Liam said as he sunk into his fighting stance with Way to the Dawn. "Well, let's see if your worth all the faith Yen Sid places in you!" Young Xehanort said as he and Liam both charged at each other. Liam and Young Xehanort clashed as they kept cancelling out each other's attacks as they seemed to be evenly matched.
Young Xehanort dropped down and kicked Liam's legs out from under him as he was knocked off his feet. Liam quickly backflipped as he landed on his feet before blocked a slash attack from Young Xehanort. "Well done, but you are still far from being a skilled Keyblade Wielder." Young Xehanort said as he kicked Liam in the chest, breaking his defense. Young Xehanort then performed and upward slash that sent Liam flying back into the dark energy wall. Liam got back up as he switched to Waltzing White. "We'll just see about that!" Liam shouted as he charged towards Young Xehanort.
Liam sidestepped a slash attack from Young Xehanort before unleashing three thrust attacks into the Keyblade Wielder's chest. Young Xehanort stumbled backwards before regaining his composure. "Maybe this will be more enjoyable then I initially thought!" Young Xehanort said with a laugh as he clashed with Liam again before knocking Waltzing White our of his hand. Liam quickly fell back into his hands before delivering a powerful kick to Young Xehanort's chest with both his feet as his opponent was sent into the air. Liam sank into a shadow.
Liam jumped out of a shadow behind Young Xehanort as he summoned Severing Shroud. Liam slashed Young Xehanort in the back before diving into the shadows once again. "Where are you?" Young Xehanort said as he looked around for Liam. Liam shot out Young Xehanort's shadow as he delivered a powerful attack into his back. As Young Xehanort flew into the air, Liam changed Severing Shroud into its bladed whip form. Liam snapped the whip at Young Xehanort as it wrapped around his body. Liam began spinning Young Xehanort around at high speeds around the arena.
Liam jumped into the air, as he spun around as fast as he could before slamming Young Xehanort into the ground before Severing Shroud back into its Keyblade form. Young Xehanort shakily stood up as he let out a laugh. "It has been quite sometime since someone has given me this much trouble in a fight. You truly are worthy of Yen Sid's trust!" Young Xehanort said as he fired dark energy blades at Liam, who began to deflect them. Young Xehanort rushes Liam as he's distracted and unleashed a devastating combo of slashes with his Keyblade.
Liam was sent flying towards the dark energy wall, but he quickly positioned himself so his feet hit the wall. Liam spring-boarded off the wall as he switched to Red Riding Reaper as he unleashed a downward slash then followed it up with an upward slash before finishing with a spin slash. Liam landed on the ground as Red Riding Reaper transformed into a giant red top that had Scythe blades coming out of it. Liam jumped onto top of the top as it began to spin at high speeds. Liam leaned forward as he sped towards Young Xehanort ready you strike.
Liam began spinning around Young Xehanort as he was hit by the blades on the top. A cyclone of rose petals were generated from the top as Young Xehanort was sent flying into the air. "Rose Tornado!" Liam shouted as the petals began to cut up Young Xehanort as he was trapped in the cyclone. Liam jumped into the air above the Rose Tornado as he switched to Gallant Gold. Gallant Gold turned into a bazooka like weapon that had a Dragon head as the barrel. Liam aimed it at Young Xehanort as a lilac energy sphere was charged in the Dragon's mouth. As the sphere got bigger it went from lilac to red as before Liam pulled the trigger.
              "Dragon Buster!" Liam shouted as a large red laser beam was fired at Young Xehanort. The beam slammed into Young Xehanort as he was slammed into the ground by the giant laser. Liam landed on the ground as Gallant Gold turned back into it's Keyblade form. "It's over Xehanort, you've lost." Liam said as he pointed his Keyblade at his fallen opponent. Young Xehanort laughed as he stood up and looked at Liam before clapping. "Very impressive Liam Nikos, you truly are as strong as Xemnas said you are! Unfortunately you've already lost." Young Xehanort said as Xigbar appeared behind him with a card charged with dark energy in hand.
"Xemnas has already began the attack on Beacon Academy, we have what we came for. Farewell Liam Nikos!" Young Xehanort said as he and Xigbar disappeared into a Dark Corridor. Liam was about to attempt to go after them, but he saw his Grandmother collapsed on the ground. "Grandmother!" Liam shouted as he ran up to her in worry as he knelt beside her and held her in his arms. Salem's appearance began to change as she seemed to revert back to her appearance before becoming the Grimm Queen.

Salem's eyes slowly opened as she looked up at Liam. "Thank goodness your okay!" Liam said as he hugged Salem.
"It's okay Liam, I'm not hurt, but I have lost my control over the Grimm. It appears I only have my dark magic now." Salem said as both Liam and Mickey's eyes widened in shock. "So now Organization 13 have the Grimm at their disposal! We have to hurry back to Beacon before everyone gets overwhelmed!" Mickey said as Liam nodded before helping Salem back to her feet. "Wait, if you no longer control the Grimm, why are Team Grimm not attacking us?" Liam asked as he noticed that the Grimm girls still seemed to be acting like their normal selves.
"I created them to have emotions and free will, they cannot be controlled like normal Grimm. They shall stay loyal to me and you Liam." Salem explained as she gently placed a hand on his shoulder. "Master Liam, please let us accompany you to Beacon! We wish to fight by your side!" Thorn said as she bowed to the teenager. Liam patted Thorn on the head as he smiled at her. "Thank you Thorn, but I want you four to escort my Grandmother to Beacon. This is a mission I can only entrust to you four." Liam said as Team Grimm nodded their heads in understanding.
"What will you do now Liam?" Salem asked her Grandson with a curious look in her eyes. "Xemnas has already launched the attack on Beacon, that means everyone is fighting for their lives right now. I have to hurry back to help them!" Liam said as Mickey walked up next to him. "We'll go on ahead, you take your time and stay safe! We'll see you at Beacon." Mickey said as Salem and Team Grimm nodded in understanding as Liam and Mickey ran out of the throne room to get back to the Bullhead so they could make it back to Beacon Academy. The Final Stage of Organization 13's plan was finally upon them.

So Young Xehanort and Xigbar were able to steal Salem's power to control and create Grimm! Xemnas has also started the attack on Beacon Academy already. The Final Stage is set and the battle for Remnant is upon our heroes! Will The rest of Team KNDM and the rest of Beacon's students be able to handle Organization 13's attack?
