So with our trio of heroes stuck in an unfamiliar world, how will things play out for them? What type of people live here and how will they react to this group of strangers?
Liam was on full guard when the ground started to shake and so where Mickey and Neo, but strangely enough Kokoro seemed to be completely calm. Whatever was approaching, it was big! "Alright guys be on your guard! This could be dangerous!" Liam said as Mickey and Neo nodded in understanding as they all got ready to draw their weapons. "No it's okay! I promise you that what's coming towards us means no harm!" Kokoro said as she threw her hands up to stop the trio from drawing their weapons. "Mama! Are you okay?!" Kokoro and the trio turned towards the voice as a giant robot towered over them.

(AN:She isn't holding the weapon.)
            To say the three travelers were surprised was an understatement, a giant robot is standing in front of them and just called the girl they saved "Mama" what was going on here? "Genista I'm okay sweetheart! These nice people protected me!" Kokoro spoke to her daughter in a soothing voice as she calmed the giant mech down. "M-Mama, w-why a-are these strange monsters attacking all of a sudden?!" Genista asked her mother in fear as she looked around for more of them. "I believe we can explain what's going on here." Mickey spoke up as he stepped forward. "Really? Please come with us back to the Plantation! The others are waiting there." Kokoro said as Genista picked them up and started to walk back to the Plantation.
                       "Genista! Did you find your mother?!" Liam looked down and saw a boy with messy brown hair looking up at Genista. "P-Papa, M-Mama is fine, b-but we m-might have an a-answer about these s-strange m-monsters!" Genista said as Liam finally got a good look at the boy.

"Mitsuru I'm fine thanks to these kind strangers!" Kokoro said as Genista set them on the ground and Mitsuru finally noticed them. "Who are you guys?!" Mitsuru asked in an aggressive tone as he glared at them. "Mitsuru was it? Sorry I know this seems strange, but please let us explain the situation to you and your friends." Liam said in a pleading voice that caught Mitsuru off guard. "Fine, but if you try anything funny, I swear I won't hesitate to end you." Mitsuru said in the best threatening tone he could manage.
                 The group entered the plantation as the trio looked around in amazement at the inside of base. "Mitsuru has Kokoro returned yet?" The group looked up only to find a black haired boy standing next to a pink haired girl with red horns. Just like Genista there was a crimson colored robot standing behind them that was eye level with the catwalk they were standing on.

"Yeah Hiro she's okay, although we have three guests." Mitsuru said the last part with a bit of venom in his voice. "Strelizia, sweetheart could you set us down on the floor?" The pink haired girl asked the giant robot as she smiled at her. "Okay mama!" Strelizia said in a sing song voice as she gently picked her parents up and set them on the ground.
            The pink haired girl walk around the trio sniffing them as she went before stopping and looking at them. "You three seem to be new around here." The pink haired girl said as looked at them with a devious grin. "What do you mean Zero Two?" Hiro asked the pink haired girl with a curious look in his eye. "Don't worry Darling, from what I can tell they are not dangerous." Zero Two said as she smiled back at Hiro. "Hey Hiro have you seen Gaia anywhere? There's something we need to discuss with her." The group turned only to find two more robots and four people coming towards them.

            The short girl with blue hair was the first to notice them as she put on a commanding front of sorts. "Who are you three, I haven't seen any of you around here before!" The short girl said with a surprising amount of force in her voice as she glared at them. "These three helped Kokoro, apparently they know something about the strange monsters that have been appearing lately." Mitsuru said with a tone that screamed he didn't trust them. "Seriously?! We should take them to Gaia right away. Oh sorry my name is Goro by the way." The tall boy with the glasses said as he introduced himself. "My name is Ichigo and this is our daughter Delphinium." The blu haired girl said as she introduced herself and their mech daughter.
Liam, Neo, and Mickey then turned towards the boy and girl standing with the pink robot. "Hey I'm Zorome! So do you guys really know how to get rid of those things?" Zorome asked as he gave them a curious look. "Yeah that's what we hope to do anyway." Mickey said as he still hid his face under his hood. "Well I'm Miku, this idiot's partner and this is our daughter Argentea." Miku said as she smiled at them and their child waved at them. The group walked through the hangar section of the Plantation as they looked around for this Gaia person. "Hey what's going on over there guys?!" The group were yet again joined by another couple and their mech child.

(AN:her hair is white with faded purple tips at the end, this after she strains herself.)

      "Futoshi, Ikuno! Your just in time, we have three people here who say they know about those strange monsters that keep attacking!" Miku says in a happy voice as she waves them over. "Seriously?! Well they definitely look strange that's for sure." The boy named Futoshi said as he looked them over. "Rude! Don't you know it's not nice to say that about people?!" Neo's sign floated in front of Futoshi and typed the message out. "S-Sorry!" Futoshi stuttered our as he backed away in slight fear from Neo's glare. "Interesting this sign seems to be able to type her thoughts out! The question is, why does she need it?" Ikuno said as she examined the device.
                    "Well Neo here is mute, that means she can't talk. So this sign was made for her by a friend of ours so she could easily communicate." Liam explained as the group nodded their heads in understanding. "M-Mister w-what a-are t-those monsters that attacked mama?" Everyone turned to face Genista that looked down at the trio meekly. "Well sweetheart I won't go into detail until we meet up the rest of your group, but those monsters are called Heartless." Liam explained as everyone, especially the mech children who were most surprised. "Heartless? Why are they called that?" Argentea asked as she gave Liam a curious look.
Liam turned to face Argentea before giving her a small smile. "Well it's quite simple, Heartless don't have hearts!" Liam said as if it were the most normal thing in the world. "W-What? But don't living things need a heart?" Delphinium said slightly taken aback by Liam's statement. "What's going on here?" Everyone turned towards the new voice and were greeted by a blue skinned girl that had long white hair and a large horn coming from her forehead. Standing behind her was what appeared to be a Black and Blue version of Strelizia.

             "Gaia! Kokoro met these people that saved her from those strange monsters that have been popping up!" Ichigo informed the Klaxosaur Princess as she grew an aggravated expression. Suddenly black tentacles shot out of Gaia's back and made a grab for Liam who sunk into Miku's shadow. "W-What?! Where did he go?!" Miku said after watching someone enter her shadow. "That's Liam's Semblance Shadow Step." Neo's sign typed out as everyone looked at her confused. "So what does this Shadow Step let him do?" Gaia growled out as she tried not to get to angry at the current situation.
               "Simple, it lets me travel through shadows and manipulate them." Everyone turned to see Liam climb out of Gaia's shadow. Before he could say anything else the black and blue Strelizia grabbed him and held him tight in her hands. "Heliconia would you be so kind as to make sure he doesn't escape?" Gaia asked her daughter as she got a nod in response. "Ms. Gaia we'd be happy to explain the situation to you, but please let Liam go! We're not your enemies!" Mickey pleaded to the Klaxosaur Princess in hopes of helping Liam. "Not until I get answers as to what has been attacking my planet! It's bad enough having Virm to worry about!" Gaia growled out as she glared at Mickey.
                 "Okay what the hell is going on here?! I swear I take a nap and when I wake up, everyone is acting crazy!" Everyone turned to find a boy with golden eyes and pure white hair walking towards them. He was dressed in the same uniform as the rest of the boys, only his pants seemed to be longer then the others. He also had blue horns sticking out of his head like Zero Two.

           Liam looked at this newcomer in shock, there was something familiar about him. He also felt like he had heard the name Virm before as well. "Proto we met someone that knows about those strange monsters that have been popping up recently." Ikuno explained as the hybrid boy looked at her in surprise. Liam felt like he had just been hit with a brick, no it couldn't be who he was thinking of. Liam looked down at Neo and Mickey, they seemed just as shocked as he was. "T-This can't be real! Of all the worlds this could have been it was his!" Liam thought to himself as he still looked at Proto in shock.
Proto thought his eyes were playing tricks on him, there right in front of him were Neo and Mickey. "No way it's been 50 years since I've, since I've seen them! That can only mean one thing." Proto thought to himself as he finally noticed Heliconia holding something in her hands. Liam and Proto's eyes met as both of them stared each other down in disbelief. "Proto, love are you okay?" Gaia asked in worry at the sight of her lover locking up like this. Suddenly Proto let out a laugh, much to the shock of the other members of Squad 13. "I'll be damned! Liam Nikos is that you?!" Proto said with another laugh as he looked at the other boy with an amused look on his face.
                 "P-Proto how do you know this man?" Gaia asked in complete shock at her lover knowing this stranger. "Heliconia, sweetheart could you put Liam down?" Proto asked his daughter as she hesitated before gently setting Liam down on the ground. Proto then pulled Liam into a bone crushing hug that Liam happily returned. "Man it's been 50 years since I've last seen you guys!" Proto said happily as he put his friend down. "50 years? It's only been 4 years for us!" Liam said with a laugh as he patted his friend on the back. "Ahem." Liam and Proto turned to look at Gaia who was tapping her foot on the ground impatiently.
"Proto, love please tell us how you know this man." Gaia said calmly, but her tentacles swayed angrily behind her. "Well love about 50 years ago when I was still hiding from Virm, I had a run in with a guy in black robes." Proto explained as Squad 13 gave him surprised looks. "Before I even had chance to react, the cloaked guy throws through some kind of portal! Next thing I know, I'm in some place called Twilight Town that's where I met Liam." Proto explained as his friends just seemed to be more confused. "I'm assuming since your here that means we've got trouble." Proto said as he turned to face Liam.
"Yeah, I'll give ya three hints and they all involve the number 13." Liam said as Proto growled in frustration. "That's just great, I still have a score to settle with that scythe wielding bastard!" Proto said in an irritated voice as he punched his open palm. "Liam was it? I'm sorry about my hostility earlier, things have been stressful around here lately. If you can help get rid of these monsters, then please help us!" Gaia said as she walked up to Liam and extended her hand. Liam smiled before shaking the Klaxosaur Princess's hand. "We'd be happy to Gaia! First let us explain the situation!" Liam said as he and Mickey began to explain who they were and what their mission was.
Okay so for those of you who haven't read my DITF story, I made the Franxx come alive and become the children of their pilots. Also Proto is my OC that is the lover of the Klaxosaur Princess, who I gave the name Gaia to. Anyway how did Proto end up in Twilight Town? What does Organization 13 want with the inhabitants of Plantation 13? How will Liam and his team get rid of the Heartless? Find out in the next chapter!
