Ozpin's office

Ironwood and Glynda are arguing in front of Ozpin at the office, about what happened last night, about the blackout and the hack in the CCT tower.

Ironwood: They were here... Ozpin they were here! The blackout on CCT Tower, what's going on?! *slams the table*

Glynda: We are very much aware of that. Thank you, James.

Ironwood: Fantastic, you're aware. Now are we going to do something about it or should we just stay the course and continue to ignore what's right in front of us?

Then a sound of someone coming in the office.

Ozpin: Come in. 

The door opens and it was Ruby & Y/n.

Ruby: Ah! Sorry, we took so long. Someone accidentally hit all the buttons on the elevator on the way up here. It wasn't me.

Ozpin: Thank you for coming Ruby & Y/n, how are you feeling? 

Ruby: I'd be better if my bad-guy catching record wasn't 0-3. *slight chuckle*

Y/n elbows her to not make this a funny joke.

Ruby: *nervous* Okay so that's the tone we're going for, got it...

Ironwood: Ruby, I feel it's appropriate to let you know that I think what you did last night, is exactly what being a huntress is all about. You recognized a threat, you took action, and you did the very best you could.

Ruby: Thank you sir.

Ozpin: Now, the general here has already informed us of the events that, transpired last night. But now that you've rested we were wondering if you had anything to add.

Glynda: Was anyone else with her? Did she look familiar to you at all?

Ruby: I...I don't know. She was wearing a mask. And she never said anything to me, but I know she fought with glass.

Y/n: You mean, Obsidian and Ice? 

Ruby: I don't think that was her semblance though. Her clothing lit up whenever she attacked.

Glynda: Save for the glass, that sounds like the same woman I fought the night we met Ruby and Y/n. 

Ironwood: Embedding dust into clothing is an age-old technique. It could have been anyone.

Ruby: Wait, do you think this girl is connected to Torchwick and the White Fang?

Ozpin: It's possible. But we still lack the required evidence to link the two together.

Ruby: Actually I-I think I remember her saying something about a hideout or something...

Y/n: h, wait. About that, Ruby, that's not the same woman you fought back at the towers. Her voice is a little too cocky for it to be the same woman. The woman you're talking about is from a White Fang member, we heard while the day we're finding Blake. She said about a back-up hideout in the Southeast, outside this Kingdom.

Ozpin: Interesting. Thank you for your cooperation, Ruby & Y/n. Why don't you go and spend sometime with your team. You have a big day ahead of you. While Y/n, we still need to talk.

Y/n: Yes, sir.

Ruby: Anytime *leaving*

Ozpin: And Ms. Rose, please try to be... discreet about this matter.

Ruby: Yes, sir

Ruby left and Y/n remains at the office.

Y/n: So, Sirs, Ma'am, what is it you want to talk about?

Ozpin: About this. *shows the Watch Dog symbol*

Glynda: We have never encountered this symbol before.

Ironwood: Do you know anything about that symbol, what it means?

Y/n gets closer to it, and observes it. Y/n makes a statement about it.

Y/n: This symbol, it means a Watch Dog is watching throughout the network. He's a lone wolf hunter, or rather, cyber hunter when it comes to being a hunter but also a hacker.

Ironwood: You mean this is connected to the intruder last night?

Y/n: Yes and no. Yes, its connected last night, and no, because he wasn't the one helping the intruder who took your guards down to put something inside the command computer.

Glynda: Then what did he do?

Y/n: He puts an anti virus software patch on all computers and CCT Towers before the intruder can. 

Ironwood: I see, did it work?

Y/n: Yes it does, but apparently if someone really tries another virus but much stronger he has a back-up plan. Putting a vaccine protocol.

Ozpin: It seems you know about this man. Do you know about him?

Y/n: Not much sir. Only his name, Aiden Pearce.

Ironwood: In that case, I want to recruit him in my military and thank him personally.

Y/n: Uhm sir about that, he's in a lone wolf job thing so he just rather to work alone.

Ozpin: Hmm, if that is all you can go back to your own things to do. *Y/n bows & leaving* And Mr. Y/n, just like what it old about Ruby.

Y/n: Yes, sir. I'll be discreet in this one. *elevator door opens and left*

Ruby opens the door back to her team's room, Yang, Weiss, & Blake rushes to Ruby.

Yang: What happened?!

Ruby: Uh, well.... umm *laughs nervously*

Ozpin office

Ironwood: Well there we have it. We send as many as troops as we can to the Southeast. Find out exactly what's going on and eradicate any forces that stands in our way.

Glynda: *frustrated growl* Why must your answer to everything involve a triumphant display of military bravado?! You treat every situation like it's a contest of measuring d-

Ozpin: Glynda!

Glynda: Well he does.

Ozpin: She's right. As much as I too would love to end this situation once and for all. We must remember that this may go beyond Vale, beyond Beacon. And if this truly is part of some master plan for which we know not the final move, we must not be so bold. Nor we can risk the spread of panic.

Ironwood: *grimly* I have served you faithfully for years. But if you mean to tell me that your plan is to really hold the defenses and wait-

Ozpin: *abruptly stands from his chair*It is not! You're a general, James. So tell me, when you prepare to go to war, which do you send in first? The flag-bearer or the scouts?

Ironwood just sighs as he knows what Ozpin means. 

Ironwood: Understood. *leaves* Oh wait. About that boy, Y/n L/n.

Ozpin: What is it?

Ironwood: I saw him reading about histories from books in the library few days ago. I tried to find files about him but he's not in there. He might be a spy from White Fang.

Ozpin: Easy there, James. He's not a spy, he specifically told me about the files we got on him to copy it and delete the original that we had. He also knows that someone might hack about the students files one day. He's going to help us in this situation.

Ironwood: I'll believe you this time, if he knows something's about to happen, I'll let my soldiers help him.

Ozpin: We have faith for him. We all do, now.

RWBY room

Weiss: That was a risky move. 

Blake: No, I think you handled it well.

Ruby: I hope so.

Yang: I'm sure everything will be alright Ruby. *realizes* Oh, I know what will cheer you up.

Yang goes to a table with a cylindrical tube on it.

Ruby: What's that?

Yang: *grabs the package* I don't know yet. Dad sent it to us. I thought we could open it together.

Ruby: *high-pitched* Ooh! Something from home!

Ruby zooms and wraps around Yang and tries to grab it from her. Y/n opens the door and it abruptly interrupts the moment.

Y/n: Uhm, should I be out here or...

Ruby: Nope. *grabs his hands and zooms back*

Y/n is now beside Yang. The package opens and an object fell to the floor. It shakes and it transforms back into a black dog, the team leans closer, it was Zwei. Zwei barked 2 times and Ruby is just excited to see her.

Ruby: Zwei! *grabs and lifts Zwei*

Zwei licks Ruby's face as they both are excited to see each other again.

Blake: He sent a dog?!

Weiss: In a mail?!

Ruby: *giggles* Stop it, hahaha. I missed you!

Yang: Oh he does stuff like this all the time.

Blake: Your father or your dog?

Y/n: *notices Blake on the top of the bunk bed* 'Oh, wait. I completely forgot. Some cats hate dogs or vice-versa'

Summer: [Does your world have that kind of stuff?]

Y/n: [Well, rarely]

Weiss: Are you telling me that this mangy...drooling...mutt, is gong to *cute overload voice mode* live with us forever? Oh yes he is, yes he is! Oh, isn't he adorable!

Blake: Please keep it away from my belongings.

Glynda: *over P.A* will all 1st year students please report to the amphitheater.

Y/n: Well, that's our cue.

Weiss: well, we can't exactly leave him while we're gone for a week.

Ruby sets Zwei down, as Zwei goes near to Blake who's on the top bunk and barks. Blake is scared, so she tries to crawl slowly, away from Zwei. Yang sees a letter from the packaging and grabs it.

Yang: Look there's a letter. *grabs and reads it* "Dear girls, I've got to leave the island for a few days. So I'm sending Zwei to you to take care of. Enclosed is all the food you should need. Love you both, Taiyang"  *Zwei is now beside Yang*

Yang tries to shake the package and tons of dog food spill out of the package.

Weiss: What is he supposed to do with that?

The can opener inside from the package, bounces off from Zwei's head.

Yang: Well, that settles it. Come on guys, Zwei will be here when we get back.

Y/n: 'I don't feel confident about that.'

Weiss: *talks to Zwei*Oh I'll miss you so much we're going to be best friends *cute voice* I can't wait to see you again.

Y/n: *ruffles Zwei's hair* Be good, Zwei. *leaves*

Blake jumps down across the table from the bunk bed just to avoid Zwei. Ruby looks at Zwei at a moment, and laughs sneakily and finds an idea.

Amphitheater

Everyone from different academies are now gathered inside the theater.

Glynda: Quiet. Quiet please.

Ruby carries a black bag and puts it down next to the other students luggage. Ruby joins in with her team and JNPR as well

Glynda: Professor Ozpin would like to share a few words before we begin.

Glynda left and Ozpin started his speech.

Ozpin: Today we stand together, united. Mistral (students wearing Black & dark Grey clothes). Atlas (students wearing Light Gray & White clothes). Vacuo (students wearing civilian clothes). Vale (students wearing Black & Gold clothes except RWBY, JNPR, & Y/n). The 4 kingdoms of Remnant. On this day nearly 80 years ago, the largest war in recorded history came to an end. It was a war of ignorance, of greed, and of oppression. A war that was about much more than where borders fell or who traded with whom. But about the very idea of individualism itself. We fought for countless reason, one of which being the destruction of all forms of art and self expression. And as you all are well aware that was something many could not stand for. As a result, those who opposed this tyranny began naming their children after one of the core aspects of art itself. Color. It was their way to demonstrate that not only would they refuse to this oppression, but neither would the generations to come. And it was a trend that is held to this very day. We encourage individuality, expressionism, and unity. Through diversity. As I have said, today we stand together, united. But this bond cannot exist without effort. Which is why today while the rest of the world celebrates peace, Huntsmen and huntresses will work to uphold it. *screens are showing up in the amphitheater*As 1st year students, you will be tasked with shadowing a professional huntsman or huntress, on a mission. Some of you may be taken out of the kingdom for several days. *mission quests are showing up on the screens* Others may work within the walls for the rest of the week. But no matter which path you choose, remember to be safe, remember your training, and remember to do your very best.

Everyone applauses to the speech and now goes to the mission boards to find one. Meanwhile Y/n is now walking to the hallways meet up with team RWBY with his new out fit. Cinder found him. 

Cinder: Excuse me, Y/n.

Y/n: *sighs* What is it?

Cinder: I wanted to know about yourself.

Y/n: 'You wanna play hard?' Ask anyway.

Cinder: Where did you come from?

Y/n: A forest, unknown on what's it called.

Cinder: Emerald Forest?

Y/n: No, not even close.

Cinder: Why did you join in the Beacon Academy when you live in a forest?

Y/n: I use my own mind and body to train and survive the situation inside the forest I live in. Few years ago, my family was murdered by Grimm, they told me one last thing, use that hate to be strong and find who's responsible for it. be strong for my family. That's why I'll still find them even if a human or any back stabbers is on their side. The enemies said I'm insane

Cinder: *scared because of his tone* What happens when you found them?

Y/n: They. *loads the mag inside the pistol* Will. *cocks the pistols and puts it in the holster* DIE. *puts his mask in with a fizz of air signifying its fitted and carries a giant case with a black ball in it*. Any questions, if not get out of here.

New gear for the Mountain Glenn mission.

(A/n: You don't have the wing parts for now. Sadly I have to remove the red hood gear and outfit. Sorry)

Cinder: Ok, I'm gonna go now. *scared as full*

When Cinder returned to her goons...

Emerald: What happened? Did you get anything from him?

Cinder: I heard what he said.

Mercury: What is it?

Cinder: He's telling about a Grimm that murdered his parents and even some of its allies who's sided with the Grimm, when I asked what he's gonna do when he found them; he said "They. will. DIE." He puts on his mask and just questions me if I have more questions on him then I left.

Emerald: Wow, talk about vengeance.

Mercury: Still though, can't blame him about his vengeance, he really means it a lot. I got a feeling when he meant what he said, he's making sure of it.

Cinder: Well, let's better leave him alone. For now.

Amphitheater

Ruby: This is perfect. All we have to do is shadow a huntsman working in the Southeast.

Yang: Yeah! We'll follow them around by day and give them the slip at night. 

Weiss: Let's check 'Search & Destroy'

They approached it and saw tasks

Ruby: Here we go. Quadrant 5 needs Grimm cleared out.

Blake: Well, it's in the Southeast.

Yang: Sounds perfect.

Ruby taps the mission quest and types the team's name. But it was denied when it was not available for 1st year students.

Weiss: *sarcasm* Wonderful.

Blake: Any other ideas?

Ruby: We mail ourselves there.

Ozpin: Well that's one option. Unfortunately, we determined that the concentration of Grimm was too extreme for 1st year students. It means that particular region is rather popular. In fact, I have suspicion that the 4 of you will make your way there no matter which job you choose.

The three glares at Ruby. Ruby just nervously smiled and scratch the back of her head.

Ruby: Whatever makes you say that?

Ozpin: I'm still curious as to how you all found yourselves at the docks last semester. I'm interested to know how you really learned about a "hideout" in the Southeast. And I certainly wonder why witnesses reported seeing robots & rose petals in a dance club sometime ago.

Ruby: Uhhm... Uh-well...

Ozpin: *sigh* I doubt I'll ever find the exact answers I'm looking for. So, how about this. Instead of waiting for you all to break the rules, why don't we just bend them?

Ozpin presses buttons on his Scroll and it acquired the RWBY's task. Search and Destroy. They are happy about it and Ruby says her thanks to Ozpin.

Ruby: We won't let you down. Thank you, professor.

Ozpin: Do not thank me for this yet. Teamwork and persistence have carried you far, but you must understand, the things that await you beyond the protection of the kingdom will not care. Stay close to your huntsman at all times. And do exactly as he says. He will be leading you on this mission. And he can have you sent back to Beacon, if he finds your skills to be unsatisfactory. Good luck. Also, bring your extra team member, Y/n. He'll help you for this mission.

Ruby: Yes, sir.

They left the Auditorium with Y/n following up behind. They're on the way to the Bullhead where it will take them to Quadrant 5.

Yang: That wasn't exactly uplifting.

Blake; but it's the truth.

Ruby: It's gonna be tough, but I know we can do it.

Student: Hey team CFVY's back!

The team CFVY have returned, many students gathered to see them. Blake goes to Velvet.

Blake: Velvet? Are you oaky?

Velvet: I'm fine, I had Yatsuhashi to look out for me.

Weiss: Your mission was supposed to end a week ago. What happened?

Velvet: N-Nothing happened. It was just, there were so many. *saw RWBY's worries and Y/n's deep expression on that words* Oh, but don't worry, you 1st years are just shadowing huntsmen so you should be fine.

Yang: Riiiiiiight.

Velvet: I should go. Be safe okay?

Ruby: We can do this. We've never backed down before and we're not going to start now.

Blake: Right.

Ruby: Besides it won't only be us out there. We'll be fighting alongside a genuine huntsman!

Yang: Yeah.

when they get there team RWBY just had various stunned or dumbstruck expressions while Y/n casually greets their Huntsman.

Y/n: Hello, Doc. Oobleck
