The island of Patch, 2 weeks before the events of Volume 4–

Dante Sparda, member of Team ODDS, sits in the Rose/Xiao long homestead in the dining room after a very long day with a bottle of alcohol he swiped from Qrow's stash in front of him. His eyes looked over his half of the amulet his mother had given him and his brother, Dominic when they were young.

Sighing, the Devil Hunter puts his family heirloom down and takes another drink from his glass, and rests his head on the table before drifting off to sleep. His mind went back to simpler times before everything went upside down and he was happier.

Vale, months ago, 2:00 am—

The moon hung high in the starlight sky, casting a silvery glow over the quiet city of Vale. Street lamps flickered intermittently, but the streets remained largely empty with the occasional passing car.

Cutting to the interior of a warehouse on the outskirts of Vale, a group of armed men load up and ship crates and containers of Dust and weapons along with containers full of growling beasts that could be Grimm but are never shown as they are under the tightest security conditions.

One of the men closed the crate in front of him but was scolded by another man armed with a rifle for being rough with the Dust.

Armed Thug: Be careful with that! You wanna blow us all sky-high or something?

Random Thug: Lay off me, will ya! I've been lifting this crud all night.

Armed Thug: Well keep lifting before you're lifting until your arms fall off!

Random Thug: Oh yeah!? Well, how about you go-!

The two were suddenly cut off when they heard the sound of footsteps running nearby and the thug with the rifle pointed his gun at the shadowy corner where the sound had come from.

Armed Thug: Who's there!?

Random Thug: Oh crap...!

Another set of footsteps, this time from behind, startles the two and the thug loading the Dust into the crates nearly knocks them over.

Armed Thug:(turns around and shouts) Hey! What the Hell did I just say!? You're gonna-!

The armed thug was suddenly knocked off his feet by a fast-moving figure and then dragged away while screaming and firing his weapon indiscriminately, alerting everyone in the warehouse.

Multiple armed thugs come rushing to where their comrade was just taken and the other was on his bottom with a look of fear on his face.

Armed Thug 2: What the heck happened!?

The thug on the ground couldn't speak and only pointed his index finger towards the shadows to where his colleague was just dragged into.

The thugs opened fire without a second thought, lighting up the small corner until the main one raised his fist in a signal for everyone to cease fire.

Once the dust cleared, a thud was heard and a few of the thugs went to check out the noise and found that they had killed their comrade as his body was riddled with different elemental bullet holes.

Armed Thug 3: Ah shit! If the boss finds out about this, he's gonna have our asses on a platter.

Armed Thug 4: What the hell were we even shooting at anyway!?

Armed Thug 2:(points to the thug on the ground) Idiot over here pointed and we started blasting!

???: Bad move on your guys' part.

Armed Thug 2: Shut up!

Armed Thug 4: Wait, who the heck said that?

All of the lights in the warehouse turned off suddenly, startling and scaring the armed men as they grouped up together.

Armed Thug 3:(voice trembling) This ain't funny, man! Turn back on the lights!

A single light turns on, illuminating the top of a stack of metal containers where a long person stands atop them with a smile on his face and his middle finger raised.

Dante Sparda, A Legend in The Making

Dante:(laughs and shakes his head) Scared? Of little ol' me? I'm flattered. But really, killing your own? That's low dudes. I do fail to see the logic of spraying and praying you hit something.

Dante speaks in a casual, joking manner as he walks back and forth across the container he is standing on with the sounds of his boots tapping on the metal container echoing through the warehouse.

Armed Thug 4: Why the hell are we listening to this freak!? Kill him!

???: I wouldn't do that if I were you.

Another voice came from behind the group of thugs and a light shone down onto another person standing atop a stack of metal containers.

Sapphire Wave, Icebound Voidwalker

Sapphire: It's in your best interest to just put down your guns and surrender. But I prefer you to make my night more entertaining. I promise it'll be a memorable experience for us all. So what'll it be? Surrender? Or a spirited showdown?

Dante: Oh please pick the second one. Please!

Armed Thug 5: You think we're scared of two kids out past their bedtime!?

???: Bravado will only get you so far when you are outclassed.

Another light shines on a third person who stands straight with a katana at his feet his hands resting at the bottom of the pommel with a longsword resting on his back.

Dominic Sparda, The Unyielding Blade

Dominic: But please, do try to make this somewhat interesting. It'd be a bore to come all this way and not have a semblance of a good time.

Sapphire: Always the optimist of the group, aren't you?

Armed Thug 3: There are still over thirty of us! You're outgunned, brats!

???: And you're outmatched!

A fourth voice echos out and a light shines on the owner of the voice who is sitting down on his tower of containers while eating candy from a paper bag.

Obito Uchiha, Last Embers of His Clan

Obito crunched on his candy as he and the rest of his friends stood tall above the armed thugs who were pointing their weapons at them.

Obito: (continues eating with his mouth full) You know, guns are dangerous. Especially when they're in the wrong hands.

Armed Thug 4: Oh! We got a comedian over here!

Dante: No, that's me.

All of the thugs turned to Dante who had his hand raised.

Armed Thug 2: This is getting ridiculous! Just kill them!

Dante: Well Dom, looks like you'll get your wish! DJ, theme music, please! (snaps his fingers, followed by awkward silence)

Obito: You know, I do wonder how you got a girlfriend as pretty as Blake.

Obito tosses his bag of candy towards the thugs which spills out, revealing a multitude of smoke bombs hidden along with his candy.

Seeing this, Dante smirks pulls out two pistols from his back, and lets out a cheerful laugh as he backflips into the air the smoke bombs go off and the music begins.

(Childish Gambino-Heartbeat, 1:50)

Dante: WOOHOO!!

The four of them all jumped down into the smoke that filled the warehouse with a thick grey cloud as gunshots and shouting rang out from inside as the view from the outside was a sight of flashing lights and muffled gunfire and screams.

Sapphire spun his body around and kicked a thug across the face while pulling out a tripartite nunchaku and swinging it, sending a wave of ice and chilling vapor that froze a group of thugs in place.

The weapon was named "Cerberus". A Devil Arm taken from the soul of the demon with the same name who once guarded the front entrance to the demonic tower, Temen Ni Gru, now wielded by Sapphire after being gifted to him by Dante after losing half of his powers in a battle against the Phantom Shogun, Bludgeon.

One of the thugs goes for an attack from behind but Sapphire uses the momentum of his body to sidestep the attack and swing Cerberus in a sharp arc that strikes the ground, sending a shockwave of frost that freezes the ground beneath the feet of the thugs in front of him, causing them to slip and fall.

Sapphire: Hm. Thought that would freeze their feet too. (shrugs) Oh well...

Dante runs around, shooting and dodging various thugs who try to catch him while dodging their bullets with ease.

A goon with a grenade launcher shoots at Dante, missing a few of his shots before nailing Dante straight on in the chest and sending him flying across the warehouse screaming.

Dante: WAAaaaaaaahhh!!

Dominic looks at his brother flying through the air and sighs, touching the bridge of his nose.

Dominic: Idiot.

Obito was traversing around the warehouse, knocking down any thug he saw and poofing into a cloud of smoke while shouting—

Obito: Ninja vanish!

Obito appears in a group of three thugs and knocks them out with hard kicks and punches to the head, knocking them to the ground unconscious.

Two thugs come out suddenly and point their guns at Obito who grins and reaches behind him.

Obito: Ninja van-! Ninja vanish?

Obito pulls his pouch out and looks inside where he realizes he has used up all of his smoke bombs.

Obito: Ohh...uh, hehe~

The two thugs approached Obito, backing him up to a narrow hallway where he had few escape options.

Obito: L-Look, I'm just a kid! How about you let me go? I mean, come on! You're bigger, faster, have guns. It'll be fun!

Thug: Why not? It's not like his short legs can even carry him that far!

Thug 2: Ha ha! Maybe he should just try and climb with those noodle arms!

Obito: Oh yeah? Well, a shinobi is never out of options!

Obito puts his hands together and begins weaving multiple hand signs at blinding speeds, amazing the two thugs at how fast his hands moved. The most surprising part is what came next...

Obito: Later nerds!

The two thugs looked at Obito dumbfounded until one of them laughed in amazement.

Thug: Did you see that!? Whoa!

Thug 2: Idiot! He's getting away!

The two of them chased Obito while shooting at him. Bullets fly past him as he moves from side to side before turning a corner and ran into his teammate, Sapphire.

Obito: Sapphire! Oh, thank god I found you!

Sapphire:(turns and looks at Obito) Oh, hey. What's up?

Obito: So, there's these guys who're—

The two thugs turned the corner to find Obito with Sapphire and pointed their guns at them only to be frozen in place by ice.

Obito: (smiles and gives Sapphire a double thumbs up) Thanks!

Sapphire: (does a thumbs up) Anytime.

The screaming Dante flew over the two and landed on a container with a hard thud. Sitting up, Dante coughs and dusts off his chest that was now exposed due to the grenade blowing it up which also had sent him flying.

Dante: (coughs) Ow.

Dominic: Maybe you'll finally think about your surroundings next time instead of just shooting everything.

Dante: Ah, shut up ya weeb.

Dante waved his hand at his brother and stood up, dusting himself off once he was on his feet.

Dominic: Hm. Your material is as stale as your fashion sense.

Dante: At least I change my look every once in a while. What's with you and wearing the same outfit for...let me guess, eight years?

Dominic: Close, four years.

Dante: That's still not good.

Dominic: Piss off. It's not my fault we hit sudden growth spurts.

Dante: Wait! (He turns and looks at his brother confused) You mean to tell me that you've been the same 4'3 height until you were sixteen!?

Dominic: Were you not?

Silence ran out through the warehouse until it was broken by Dante bellowing out in laughter at his brother.

Dante: HAHAHAHA!! OH MY GOD! NO! Dude, I was like 5'8 when I was sixteen!

Dante continues laughing even after an explosion rocks the warehouse.

Dominic: (grunts and points his finger in Dante's face) Go build a bridge and jump off it!

Dominic turns and runs, jumping from crate to crate to where the explosion occurred, and lands behind Obito and Sapphire who were in the middle of fighting a thug piloting a mech.

Sapphire: Oh, how nice of you to drop in. Where's Thing 2?

Dante's laughing could be faintly heard in the far back of the warehouse making Sapphire shake his head before they all dodged a missile shot by the mech.

Dominic: (grunts) Any reason why it's taking you two so long to destroy this thing??

Sapphire: (lands on a crate holding Obito by his jacket) Well, they've modified the mech with a LOT of firepower.

The mech's arm transforms into a dual pair of miniguns that spin up and shoot an unending wave of bullets that cause the three to run for cover as bullets tear through the metal containers and other men.

The thug piloting the mech presses a button on the control system and two panels open up on the back of the machine and launch a volley of missiles around the warehouse creating more explosions and chaos inside.

Dominic, having enough of this, jumps over a pile of fallen containers and sends a powered-up slash towards the mech but upon making contact with it, a pulse of energy fizzles and then shatters.

Dominic: What!? A shield? But that's—

Another volley of missiles was shot at Dominic and he made tracks, running and jumping across multiple containers before trying to teleport to break the missiles but they persisted and exploded, sending him flying into a container.

Dominic: Aaaahhh—OOMF!!

Dominic's body makes a dent in the container on impact and falls to the ground with the wind knocked out of him as he slowly gets up groaning which makes him unaware of the mech walking towards him with its guns spinning up and aimed right at him.

Dominic: (grunts and holds his side)

The mech opens fire at Dominic who would have been cut down by the bullets if not for Sapphire creating a wall of ice in front of his teammate.

Sapphire: (runs up and grabs Dominic) Come on! Let's go!

Dominic: (grunts) Release me! I can still fight!

Sapphire: (dragging Dominic away) Yeah, yeah! How about this? If you're a good boy and shut up, I'll get Yang to kiss your boo-boos. Sound good?

Dominic: What on Remnant are you insinuating?

Obito jumps on the back of the mech and stabs a kunai into a divide in the panels on its back, using his Semblance to make the blade burn red hot before jumping away from the mech as the kunai exploded, damaging the mech and leaving a hole in its back.

Turning around, the mech launches a salvo of rockets at Obito who yelps and runs away, dodging missiles left and right until one explodes near him and sends him flying forward in front of the mech. The pilot smirks and points the miniguns of the mech and spins them up as the young Uchiha struggles to get up.

Before the pilot could pull the trigger, a missile came flying over it before impacting it on the back, damaging it greatly as the sound of an approaching motorcycle became louder and louder before it and its rider came flying above the mech and landing on its back, sending it tumbling forward to the ground.

The driver stomps their foot on the back of the mech and removes their goggles as Obito sees who has just saved him.

Lady, The Heavily Armed Beauty

Obito: (smiles) Ah..! Lady!

Lady: (looks at Obito and smiles) Hey there, short stuff!

Obito: (chuckles nervously) D-Don't call me that.

Lady: Why? I thought Dante said you like that name.

Obito looks at her with a deadpan, uncanny expression as he learns that Dante told Lady to give him a nickname related to his small height.

Obito: Anyways...What're you doing here?

Lady: Girls night.

Obito: Girls night?

A thug behind Obito makes his presence known with a cock of the shotgun in his hands pointed directly at Obito who turns around as a gunshot rings out and the thug falls to the ground, hitting his head and knocking him out.

Looking around, Obito spots the shooter atop a catwalk waving at him and shouting his name in a cheery, young voice that he knows all too well.

Ruby: Obito!! Heeeeey!!

Ruby Rose, leader of Team RWBY and one of two of the youngest students attending Beacon Academy besides Obito.

Obito: (smiles and waves to her while giggling) Ha ha ha ha! Hey!!

Ruby giggles and keeps waving at her boyfriend who waves back and all Lady does is just sit there on her motorcycle atop the mech feeling like a third wheel.

The howling laughter of Dante was still heard throughout the fighting with Dante on his back heaving from his laughter. He was so focused on what was making him laugh that he didn't notice someone land on the container he was on and step over to him until they spoke to him.

Blake: Dante, what're you doing??

Dante: (laughter dies down and he sighs) Hey, babe. Fancy meeting you here.

Blake: (sighs and helps Dante up) Yeah, well. Yang wanted to do a "Girls' Night".

Dante: What? It's like two in the morning.

Blake: That's what we said when she woke us up.

Dante: So she woke you up, found Lady, who then told you where we were?

Blake: Yup. Making it difficult to play off that she's not obsessed with your brother.

Dante: Oh a hundred percent.

A group of thugs were blown away in an explosion caused by Weiss and Yang. Both girls walked out to greet Dominic and Sapphire who were standing by a few knocked-over crates.

Sapphire: Hm. It seems we have guests at this little shindig.

Dominic: (stands straight) What are you two doing here?

Weiss: Is that anyway to talk to your rescuers?

Dominic: I would have assumed my rescuers had a good night's rest before they came to save me. You look awful.

Weiss frowned which was accented by the bags under her eyes and she looked at Yang who was looking away from her teammate while whistling a casual tune.

But it was clear that neither of the Ice Royal couple didn't like that as Sapphire gave a swift and efficient kick to Dominic's side, sending him flying into a metal container.

Sapphire: Pay no mind to him, dear. You look beautiful...Even though you look like you have one foot in the grave.

Weiss walked over to Sapphire and pushed her face into his chest, sighing heavily and saying that she was too rich to be this tired while her beloved boyfriend hugged her.

Dominic groans as his legs hang out from the hole his body made after going through the container. Yang's head poked through the hole and she rested her arms on his knees and looked down on the elder half-demon.

Yang: You okay in there, Hedgehog?

Dominic: (groans and tilts his head up) Hedgehog..?

Ruby: (pokes her head through the hole as well) Hey, Yang, I think he likes the nickname!

Yang grins and playfully pats Dominic on the head.

Dominic: (groans) Hate you...Hate you both.

Yang: Aw, don't be like that, Hedgehog.

She continues to ruffle his hair as Ruby chuckles, clearly enjoying this.

Dominic: Just help me out of this thing.

Ruby and Yang share a look before they smirk.

Yang: I dunno, maybe we should leave you in there for a while.

Dominic sighed in frustration and pulled himself out of the container.

Yang: Aw (crosses her arms under her chest), and you were just starting to look cute.

Dominic: I am not some animal to gawk at!!

Yang: Well, you're definitely not an animal. Maybe a small, defenseless, hedgehog~

She grins and pokes him on the nose, causing Dominic to turn away and blush while touching his nose. Seeing this, Yang pokes his cheek while Ruby and everyone else present giggles at Dominic.

Yang: Look at him blush! He's so adorable when he's mad!

Obito: (trying not to laugh) Alright, alright. Let's stop teasing the little guy.

Dominic: (offended) Little?!

Yang: Oh please, we all know you're the smallest one here. You're basically pocket-sized.

Obito runs at Yang to attack her for calling him "pocket-sized", but is picked up by Sapphire who holds him by his shirt collar as he thrashes around hurling insults at Yang.

Sapphire: Okay, half-pint, calm down before you pop a blood vessel.

A loud whistle was heard, causing everyone to look around until a voice shouted at them.

Dante: Yo! GTFOH! What're you doing??!

Weiss: (groans in frustration) Urgh! Why does he have to yell so loud...?

Yang: Let's go see what the drama queen wants.

Everyone made their way over to where Dante had called out to them and found him and Blake standing next to the fallen mech with Lady leaning against her motorcycle.

Dante: Took you long to get here, seriously what were you tools even doing over there?

Sapphire: Oh, we were dubbing your brother Team ODDS resident hedgehog.

Dominic: I swear to-

Dante: (smiling) Hey! Our mom used to call him that!

You could hear the glass breaking inside of Dominic's head from his world being shattered that Dante revealed one of his biggest secrets to everyone.

Everyone laughed at the revelation, especially Ruby who's currently on the floor holding her stomach while kicking her feet.

Dominic, blushing and mad with anger, was about to strike down his brother with the Yamato when the roar of an engine broke through the sounds of laughter and everyone turned to where the noise had come from.

Blake: (apprehensively) What was that??

Dante: Oh, sounds like a lion to me.

Sapphire: More like a bear...

The ground shook as whatever made that sound approached and a massive twin-barreled tank burst through the wall of metal containers, sending them crashing across the warehouse and landing with a loud thud.

Yang: (shocked) Holy crap, that thing is huge!

Dominic: Spread out and take it down!

Dante: (slides behind Dominic) Dibs! I call dibs!

The tank fires a shot at the group and they all separate to dodge the explosion and overwhelm the war machine with numbers and brute force.

Obito jumps back into the air and tosses three kunai empowered by his semblance which explodes after making contact with the tank but they don't even scratch the armor of it.

Dante whistles at how Obito's attack did nothing to the tank due to its tough armor.

Just then, multiple panels opened on the sides of the tank and multiple volleys of missiles burst out and rained down towards the two teams.

Yang was hit by the explosion of one of the missiles and sent flying into the path of the approaching tank. She grunts and looks up to see the tank barreling towards her, and her eyes widen as she realizes that she can't get out of the way in time.

In a flash, Dominic appeared in front of her, extending his arms out and stopping the tank from running her over.

Dominic: (grunts with effort) G-Go!

Yang stared up at Dominic in amazement as he held back the tank, but quickly got herself up to her feet rolled out of the way, and regrouped with her teams as the tank accelerated and began to overpower Dominic.

Dominic: HRRK! No no no no no-!!

Dominic was run over by the tank and left in a hole in the shape of his body with tank track marks on his body.

Sapphire walked up and shook his head at his teammate and poked his index finger on his forehead.

Sapphire: Tsk, tsk, tsk. Now why didn't you just do the smart thing and grab her?

Dominic: (through gritted teeth) I was worried for her safety and didn't think!

Sapphire: Ah, to be in love. It makes you do stupid things.

Dominic: Just shut up and help me!

Sapphire: Hm..nah. Maybe I'll just leave you there until you are reminded of your manners.

Dominic glares at Sapphire and pulls himself out of the ground and groans as his bones pop back into place.

Dominic: (grumbles) Embarrassing. I can't believe I got run over by a tank...

The tank continues after running over Dominic firing indiscriminately at everyone until the driver decides to make a hasty getaway and blasts a hole through the warehouse wall and drives out onto the streets where it wreaked havoc on the city and its citizens as it rolls through town.

Dante: Glynda is SO gonna have our asses for this.

Lady sighed and facepalmed as she now had to fight a battle tank at two in the morning rather than being in bed sleeping.

Blake: We have to take it out!

Lady: (groans) I'm on it!

Revving the engine of her bike, Lady sped through the hole the tank made and drove after it. Leaving everyone else behind.

Dante: So blondie, I'm guessing you didn't bring your bike with you?

Yang: Nope, I left it back at the dorms.

Dante sighs and gets ready to run after Lady until a thug on a motorcycle comes barreling towards everyone and Dante gets a little grin on his face and runs at the thug, jumping forward and kicking him off the bike, sending the thug crashing to the ground while  Dante now has control over the motorcycle, and revs it up before speeding after Lady and the tank.

He flips everyone off as he drives past them laughing.

Sapphire: (sarcastically) Wow, what a gentleman. Didn't even offer to give his girlfriend a ride.

They hear sirens wailing in the distance as another set of explosions comes from the same direction Dante went in.

Blake: (sighs and crosses her arms) I don't know why I'm dating that boy...

Dominic: How about we all stop gawking, and find a way to join up with them?

Ruby: Right, yeah. Any ideas?

Before anything could be said, one of the containers knocked over by the tank broke open and Grimm poured out of it, and everyone got ready for a fight.

Dante and Lady sped through the dimly lit streets of Vale, following after the tank as it left a trail of destruction behind.

Lady fires rocket after rocket at the tank, but they either bounce off its tough armor or are dodged by it.

Dante pulled up beside Lady as she reloaded her launcher while growling in frustration.

Dante: Man, you can't hit the broad side of a planet!

Growling, Lady points her launcher at Dante who laughs and puts his hands up in surrender.

Dante: Whoa whoa, I'm kidding~!

Lady: (grunts) Rrgh! That thing is too tough! We have to find some way to stop it before it destroys the city!

The gears are turning in Dante's head, and he gets an idea and revs the bike before speeding up and getting in front of the tank. Seeing this, the tank fires off another volley of missiles locked onto Dante.

Lady: (shocked) Dante, what are you doing!?

Dante turns and does the Akira slide on the motorcycle and accelerates towards the tank with the missiles turning to follow Dante.

The driver shouts in terror as Dante gets closer and fires off the tank's flares which causes the missiles to lose their tracking on Dante and fly off into different directions.

Dante: (smirks) Gotcha~

The tank fires at Dante, and he jumps off the motorcycle and spins through the air drawing his sword. He lands on the top of the tank and drives his sword through the roof of it, attempting to hit the engine of the tank.

It starts to decelerate and Dante pulls his sword out of the tank and jumps in front of it as it comes to a complete stop right in his face.

The driver tried desperately to start the tank but no matter how hard he tried, it was dead in its tracks. Dante then knocks on the tank and waves into the camera on the front of the tank.

Dante: License and registration?

Back with the rest of Team ODDS and Team RWBY, they were just about wrapping up with the Grimm.

Sapphire and Weiss cut down an Ursa Major by freezing it solid and Weiss, using a red glyph positioned on the chest of the Ursa, appeared in front of the Grimm and thrust's Myrnaster into the center of the glyph where the back of the Ursa exploded open leaving only a hollow statue of it remaining.

Ruby turns and looks at the rest of her friends after they had finished off the remaining Grimm.

Ruby: Is that all of them?

Obito cuts a Beowolf in half with a kunai and the two halves dissolved into black mist.

Obito: Almost.

Blake and Dominic land in front of a pack of Beowolves and sliced past each of them, appearing behind the pack and slowly sheathed their katanas and the Grimm faded into black mist.

Dominic: Too easy...

Blake stood silent as her katana was sheathed and she stood up and looked around the warehouse.

Blake: Is that all of them?

Weiss: It better be. (yawns) Why did you make us do this Yang...?

Nearby, Yang sat upon a pile of Grimm bodies as they began to fade away into mist while grinning from ear to ear. She gave her friends a wave as she slides down just before the Grimm faded away entirely.

Yang: You guys are so slow, you know? I already got through twenty of those things before you all finished!

Ruby: Show off.

Sapphire rolled his eyes at Yang's comment while Dominic chuckled a bit but played it off as a cough when Blake noticed but she knew how he felt.

Yang: I mean, it's to be expected when you're not thrusted with talent like me~

Everyone gave an audible groan to yet another terrible Yang pun while Dominic on the other hand, let out a short laugh that he too played off as a cough.

Yang: (sighs) You're the only one who appreciates my humor~

She went over to him and leans over to him and looks at him smiling while batting her eyes at him which made his face turn to a light shade of pink that he tried to hide while attempting to remain stoic which only causes Yang to lean in closer.

Yang: Aw, it's okay~ I won't tell anyone you love my puns~

Sapphire: I will.

Yang glares at Sapphire before returning her attention to Dominic.

Yang: You're blushing~

Dominic: I'm not! I'm...just hot! Yes! Tonight is very hot!

Obito: It's literally the middle of Fall, and it's 60 degrees outside.

The group laughs at Dominic's lame excuse.

Yang: Oh please, you're just embarrassed~

Dominic: Silence! We..should..go find Dante! Yes! He and Lady must've already destroyed the tank! Onward!

Blake and Ruby chuckle at Dominic's attempt to change the subject, but Sapphire wasn't having it.

Sapphire: You can't change the subject that easily.

Dominic gave a peace sign and slides out of frame. Sighing, Yang starts walking after him, with the rest of the team following.

Weiss: I just don't get why he and Yang don't just date. It's SO obvious they like each other.

Obito: He's so tightly wound that he doesn't even know how to act on his feelings.

Ruby: (chuckles) Hehe~ He's so dense it's painful to watch.

Blake: He's not entirely to blame. Yang gets cold feet every time she tries to ask him out.

Weiss lets out a long sigh, pinching the bridges of her nose.

Weiss: It's like they're both hopeless idiots.

The group then arrives at the site where the tank was stopped at and find Dante sitting on top of the tank while Lady stood leaning against her bike.

Seeing them, Dante waves and hops down from the tank.

Dante: Yo, you guys took your time getting here!

Lady: It took you all that long to kill some Grimm..??

Ruby: (puts her hands on her hips) Some of us aren't overpowered!

Obito: Yeah! You guys need to get nerfed!

Sapphire: Obito, you're an Uchiha..

Obito: Shut up, you know what I mean!

Sapphire slapped Obito upside the head

Sapphire: Don't tell me to shut up.

Obito lets out a small 'ow' as he rubs the spot where Sapphire hit him.

Weiss: Can I go back to bed now?

Dante: (chuckles) Yeah, we should probably make tracks before the cops show up. (claps) Oh driver~! Beacon Academy please~

There was an eerie silence as everyone turned to look at Dominic who realized Dante meant him and he cuts open a portal with the Yamato and Weiss pushes him out of the way.

Lady: I'll see you guys around.

She got back on her bike and rides off into the night as everyone walked through the portal and appeared in the hallway on their floor of the dorms.

Weiss yawns and pushes past everyone and goes inside of her team's dorm and flops onto her bed, falling asleep immediately. Sapphire goes in and tucks her in under her blanket and gave her a kiss on the forehead which causes her to smile in her sleep before exiting and bidding Team RWBY a farewell and goes off to bed.

Yang: (yawns) Yeah, I'm beat. I'm gonna hit the hay...

Blake: Oh so now you're tired. Didn't you suggest we have a "girls night"?

Yang: Yeah, but that was before we had to fight Grimm and me nearly getting flattened by a tank.

Yang goes over to Dominic and leans into his chest, resting her head on him and looking up at him with a tired smile.

Yang: You wanna tuck me in too~?

His face turned a darker shade of pink and his mouth hangs open slightly as he tries to think of something to say.

Yang: You're like a tomato~

She boops him on the nose again and goes to bed, winking at him as she enters her team's dorm.

Dante, seizing the opportunity, makes a whip cracking sound which makes everyone chuckle while Dominic only got more embarrassed.

Dominic: (quietly) I'll kill you...

Dante: You're not even trying to deny it anymore.

Dominic: After what I did, I'm surprised she's willing to share a room with me.

Obito: Dude, you almost destroyed the world and she gave you a kiss on the cheek after it all ended.

Blake: Why are you so scared of what'll happen after you and her get together?

Dominic: I just...can't. Now leave me be. I'm tired.

Dominic turns and walks away to his team's dorm. Dante scoffs and turns to his friends.

Dante: He's such a tsundere.
