Wes pov

It was the next day and that was the day I got out from the infarmary and this would be my first day at beacon. I got up from the bed and I saw a note with a weapon under it.

Dear Wes

I know that Eli-nee is gone but she wanted to give you this sword before she passed away also it can transform into a scythe too also their some clothes here too. I hope your doing fine at your new school and see you come back home as a worthy heir to the clan someday.

I held onto the note and kept it with me it always reminds me Umi-nee would write these types of letters. "Hey Wes are you ready in there." Ruby knocked. "Ehhh Ruby don't open."

Ruby pov

I opened the door with yang, blake, and weiss behind me. I see wes with his shirt off with his shirt in his other hand. Yang covered my eyes. "Hey yang why are you covering my eyes." I screamed. "We can't have your innocence ruined Ruby." Yang said holding her hands over my eyes. Yang then removed her hands from my eyes and then I see this weapon near Wes' stand. "Hey Wes what is that weapon over there." I pointed towards. "Oh this a weapon my sister gave me before she passed away and it's called black saber." He said. He unsheathes the sword revealing this shining silver on the blade. "Wow that looks amazing." I said. "That's not all it can do." Wes said. We see the sword morph into a black and silver scythe. "Wow it's just like uncle Qrow sword yang." I said. "Anyways guys I got to head to ozpins office to talk to him." He said. "Yeah see ya." I said walking out the room with yang, weiss, and blake.

Wes pov

I was walking down the halls of beacon academy with my black mask covering my mouth with the front of my black hair up. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around putting my mask down "Umi?" I said. "What are you doing here." I asked. "I wanted to visit you." She said. Me and Umi walked down the halls. "You heard the news about Eli huh." I asked. "Yeah and I know the person who killed her." She said. "You do." I asked. "The name was Roman torchwick." She replied. That name I start to gritt my teeth revealing my fang tooth. "I'm alright Umi ." I said. "I see your carrying the sword Eli gave you." She said pointing to it on my side. "Yeah Anyways i gotta head to ozpins office." I said hugging my sister. Right after me and Umi went our separate ways I went straight to ozpins door.

I knock on his door "You can come in." He said. I let my mask hang around my neck. "You wanted to see me professor ozpin." As I walk through the door. "Yes please have a seat Wes." He said. I sat in the seat ozpin offered me. "I see that you have the weapon that your sister gave you." He pointed. "Yes?" I said. "With the clothes I'm wearing will it be a problem?" I pointed to my mask and the jacket Eli gave me. "No it won't be a problem." He said. "Good I thought I had to wear the uniform." I said in relief. "Wes do you wanna know why I asked you attend beacon." He asked. "Yes, it's because you train people like me to become huntsmen and huntresses." I replied. "Yes and I also sensed great power from you." He said. "Also your sister told me that you will be the next heir of the sugino clan." He said. I nodded in agreeing with him. "You can attend class if you want but we don't want to interfere with your schedule." He said. "Oh no it's fine I arrange with them." I replied. "Also would like to be on a team or solo." He asked. "Solo." I replied. "Lastly your dorm we have personally made a dorm for you near the school outside." He said. "Alright I'll go check it out." I said getting out of my seat. "Good bye ozpin." I bowed

(Timeskip) lunch

I walk into the cafeteria I see Ruby, Yang, Weiss, and Blake sitting down and I see a boy with blonde hair, a girl with red hair, another guy with black hair with a pink streak, and a girl with pink hair sitting with them. "Hey Wes." Yang said. "Hey everyone." I said. "Hey Ruby who's your friend." The boy with blonde hair said. "Jaune this is Wes, Wes this is Jaune." Ruby said. "Hello Jaune." I waved. He waved. "So Wes how was your day." Jaune asked. " it's fine." I replied. When I was about to sit down I saw this girl getting her ears pulled by a muscular dude with burnt orange hair while three of his friends were laughing. I stared in annoyance seeing him pulling her bunny ears. I got up from my seat "Hey Wes where are you going?" Ruby said. "I'm gonna teach this dumbass a lesson." I said while cracking my knuckles. "Oh no he's gonna mess with Cardin Winchester." Jaune said. "I think Wes can handle it." Yang said. I walk up to the guy and tapped his shoulder he turned around. "What do you want?" He said. I just gave him a normal smile and stayed silent. "You picken for a fight." He said "nope." I said. "I just want you to leave the girl alone." I said. "Ha no way not even a shrimp like you can beat me." He said. "Go ahead punch me?" I smirked at him making him look pissed. He threw a punch at me but being the dumbass he  is I blocked with one hand. "Heh now it's my turn." I kicked him towards the stomach making him fall and see his dumb friends picking their so called leader up carrying him away. "Thanks for saving me." The girl with long brown hair and bunny ears said. "No problem I just don't want to see a pretty face like you being bullied." I said seeing her blush. "Wait you look familiar?" She said. "I do?" I said letting my mask hang over my neck. "Your Wes sugino right?" She said. "How did you recognize me?" I said. "Aren't you a model?" She said. "Yeah,why?" I said. "I was wondering if you can sign this." She said. "Sure." I signed the girls paper. "Wait you haven't told me your name yet." I said. "The names velvet." She said then walking off. I walk back to table where Ruby and the others were at. "Wow Wes that was amazing." Ruby said. "You don't have to compliment me." I said. "But you stand up for velvet against Cardin." Jaune said. Right after Jaune spoke the speaker came on "Would Wes sugino report to ozpins office please." It said. "Oh crap what did I do this time."
