Okay so my idea is this, Cinder has a list of people who may become a threat to Salem's plans which we know for a fact that Pyrrha (sadly) was on. Well given that Cinder met Ruby in the first chapter and Ruby was the one that almost got her caught during the dance, meaning she knows how threatening Ruby can become to her plans, Weiss is apart of the Schnee Dust Company which puts her at odds with the White Fang, Blake was apart of the White Fang and was close to Adam meaning that she probably knows some incriminating on them, and that Yang pretty much trashed Junior's club who used to supply Roman with men we can probably assume that all four were put onto her list with Pyrrha either in Volume one or after that little stunt they pulled at Mt. Glenn. Now this next part is even more assumptions but please bare with me. So Cinder had Pyrrha put onto her list so why not assume that Nora and Ren were put onto that list too? I mean they may not have been put as high as Pyrrha or Ruby but after the tournament match we can see that Nora is seen as a threat to what Cinder wants to accomplish. The only person that I think would not be on that list at all would be the Harem King himself Jaune Arc. I mean have you seen how he fights and how he acts in class? Why would Cinder ever see Jaune as a threat to her plans? So of course she would not put Jaune on the list which is where she will fall (haha pun!). Because she doesn't pay Jaune the time of day Cinder will have no intel on Jaune at all meaning that even if he doesn't improve much in the time before meeting her, Jaune will still be the wild card that leads to some major losses for Salem if not the death of Cinder. Yes I know the latter of the two is less likely to happen but I really want Jaune to be the one that ends Cinder if it is not Ruby.
