One week has passed after the breach in Vale that was stopped as it ended with the situation being handled and Roman Torchwick was contained under custody by the Atlas Military

Today, we see team RWBY is seen enjoying themselves as they are waiting for the Vytal Tournament as we see Ruby looking pretty excited right now

Ruby: so, anyone want to get supplies for the Vytal Tournament?

Weiss: you can all go ahead, I'm staying.

We see Blake reading a book until she closed it and glanced at the SDC Heiress

Blake: is there a reason on why you're not coming?

Yang: yeah, Ice Queen, why?

Weiss deadpanned at her jokester/hot-headed teammate

Weiss: first, quit calling me that. Second, I'm expecting a package from the Schnee Dust Company to arrive today. They informed me that they've discovered a new type of dust and it got me curious on what it does, so I asked my father for a few samples of them to see what capabilities it possesses.

Then Ruby went up to Weiss's face with big adorable sparkly eyes

Ruby: Can we see it too!?

Weiss pondered for a few seconds until she smiled and answered

Weiss: I don't see why not. But we still have to wait for it to-

Then suddenly, team RWBY Hears a knock on their door and as they opened it, they see Team JNPR standing in front of them while Jaune is holding an SDC Package

Jaune: uh, this package was left at our doorstep, so we figured that it was supposed to be for Weiss since she is an heiress of the SDC after all. Here you go, Weiss.

Weiss: Finally.

She then snatched the box from Jaune's hands, making him pout as Pyrrha patted her team leader/secret crush on his back

Pyrrha: so, what did you get, Weiss?

Weiss: just a new type of Dust.

And then Nora gasped loudly and pushed both Jaune & Pyrrha out of her way while having a big crazy smile on her face

Nora: A NEW DUST!!! WHAT DOES IT DO!!! CAN I TRY!!! CAN I, CAN I, CAN I, CA-

Then Ren bonked Nora on her head with the butt of one of his StormFlower SMGs, making Nora groan in pain as she rubbed her head

Nora: sorry.

Ren sighed and stared at team RWBY

Ren: continue, please.

Weiss nods in thanking Ren for calming Nora down in his own way

Weiss: like I told my friends before you showed up, I don't know what the new dust does, not even the Atlas scientists know of it's capability as well.

Blake: but we were going to test it out in the Dust Lab to find out what the new dust does.

Nora: (hype yelling) THEN WHAT ARE WE STANDING AROUND HERE FOR!!??

She grabbed weiss' right hand and sprinted her out of the dorm to go to the dust lab so she can find out what the new dust even does

Ren: NORA!!!

Then he and both teams ran to follow Nora & Weiss to the dust lab

(Austin, TX, USA. 2023)

At S.F. Austin High School, it's a normal day that goes on in this high school or any other high school. Classes, Bullying, homework, relationships, prepping for college.... The usual teen drama, etc...

In the Cafeteria, we see a group of friends, minus one of them, eating lunch and talking to each other about.... stuff and things... oh f*** it, just read the conversation right here, starting with this guy named Tyler, along with his friends here

Tyler: So, you guys excited for RWBY Volume 9 next week?

Phoebe: after I saw the trailer, it seemed like it's worth the wait.

Ian: especially since we've been dying to find out where team RWBY Ended up after Volume 8.

Tyler: Hah!!! Yeah, I've been wanting to find out too and-

Then he noticed that Nick, the guitarist of the group, isn't here

Tyler: where'd Nick go?

Phoebe: oh, he got tied up with some stuff.

(In the Music Room)

We see Nick holding a guitar and started playing the instrument like Lego Batman did in that DC Lego Movie ''The Lego Batman Movie''

Tyler nodded in understanding since Nick does like to practice with his guitar sometimes at school

Tyler: Okay, I understand that.

Then he took a bite of his sandwich while Ian & Phoebe ate their lunches

(French Voice: Later)

After Lunch ended and after Nick reunited with Tyler & his friends, they were on the way to their next class until Tyler bumped onto two blonde girls, making them drop their bags on the ground and their stuff inside said bags fell out

These blonde girls are Lizzy & Chelsea

Tyler: Oh my God! I'm sorry about that.

Lizzy: (sighs) no, it's our fault, Tyler.

Chelsea: Lizzy's right, we should've paid attention to what was in front of us. So, it's okay.

Tyler smiled at them warmly

Tyler: thanks for saying that to m-

Tyler, Ian, Phoebe & Nick stared at Lizzy & Chelsea in surprise at hearing them say Tyler's name

Ian: did you two just say Tyler's name?

Nick: as in his actual name!?

Lizzy: (deadpan) well, duh! I am the captain of the cheerleading squad.

Chelsea: and that I'm president of the student council, so...

Phoebe: oh, right. We kinda forgot about that.

Tyler: yeah, I did too. But anyways, I think I should-

Then when he was about to grab Chelsea's notebook to help put it in her bag, his hand was surprisingly touched by both Lizzy & Chelsea's hands, making the three teens stare at each other and blush madly in deep red and gasp loudly as the two blondes rushed and put all their stuff back in their bags and stand up quickly

Lizzy & Chelsea: (Blushes) Sorry Tyler, see ya later!!!

They said in unison and sprint down the halls passed Tyler & his friends, who are mostly stunned, except Phoebe & Nick because they are seen smirking at Tyler, who he and Ian both noticed their expressions just now

Ian: Phoebe? Nick?

Tyler: why are you looking at me like that?

Phoebe: we both saw the way you were looking at them.

Nick chuckled mischievously as Ian & Tyler deadpanned at Phoebe & Nick's response about what happened between Tyler & his crushes, Lizzy & Chelsea

Tyler: Let's just go to our class right now.

Phoebe & Nick stop screwing Tyler around as the group walked down the halls to go to their next class. But later in the afternoon, Tyler & his friends will eventually meet with two certain teams from Remnant and when Tyler & his friends meet the teams, their lives will soon be changed... forever.
