As I said at the end of last chapter this will be about Winter finding out about her sister. I heard from a friend of mine that she was dying to read this, so as always, enjoy! I know this is a day early but read the note at the end. Again, enjoy this chapter!

It had been a couple of days since the family visit from Taiyang and Qrow. Since then Weiss had been feeling much better due to the fact that Ruby's family had accepted her dating their daughter/niece. The school had a week off due to the recent hard work of the students and Ozpin decided that they needed a break from work. Everyone was happy because most of them would be going home to spend time with their family. Unfortunately for team RWBY, most of them couldn't see their family members. Ruby and Yang unable to visit home due to both Taiyang and Qrow unable to get out of work, Blake hasn't visited her parents in a long time, and Weiss...well she could see her family, but things were complicated when it came to the relationship she had with her family. She absolutely disliked her father, her brother Whitley was pretty much an ass, her mother...passed away years ago, and finally Winter, the oldest Schnee child she hasn't seen since she had left to go join the Atlas military which was a couple years ago. Weiss was brought out of her thoughts when she heard her team talking about what they could do with the week off. After turning down pretty much every idea, the only option was to stay at the dorm. All of the team didn't like the idea because none of their friends would stay. Weiss then got an idea. She remembered a beach house that her family owned. She and her mother would always go there every summer to spend time together; those times were happy times for Weiss, but now with her mother gone she had no reason to go to that beach house. It had been years and no one in the family has been there since. Weiss suggested the idea to the team and they seemed to like the idea of that. "Hell yea! Beats sitting around here for the entire week." The team agreed without any arguments starting. Since it was only noon the team decided to start packing and in an hour they would head to the beach house. As Weiss was packing Ruby came up to her and asked her why she wanted to go to the beach house. Weiss froze, but she could tell Ruby, she made a promise to her, her teammates also that she wouldn't hide any secrets from them. "Ruby...me and my mother would always go there when I was little, I was happy I got to spend time with her there, those times were the happiest times for me..." Weiss got emotional thinking about her mother and silently cried. Ruby immediately hugged her girlfriend. Blake and Yang had been listening and walked over and hugged Weiss also. They stayed like that for a few moments before they broke it off. "Alright, enough being down, lets go to that beach house!" Everyone chuckled at Yangs excitement as they left the dorm. While on their way to the beach house Weiss heard her scroll go off, someone was calling her, but who? Expecting to see the name of one of her friends from team JNPR or CFVY, instead her eyes widened in shock as she read the caller ID. She dropped her scroll still in shock and the others took notice and immediately were worried. "Weiss, whats wrong?" Ruby asked in a worried tone. No response. Ruby tried again, "W-Weiss, your scaring me...please tell me whats wrong" Ruby said on the verge of tears. The scroll stopped ringing as Weiss came back to her senses. "R-Ruby, guys, I'll tell you all what that was about, but first.." she turned to Ruby and let her head rest on her shoulder. Weiss took a deep breath as she began talking, "That name on my scroll a few seconds ago...it was Winter, my older sister." Everyone gave surprised gasps hearing Weiss had a sibling. "I know what your all thinking, another Schnee, but hear me out. She's...different from my father. She didn't want to live the boring life in the company and decided to join the Atlas military. She went against fathers orders to not do it, but she did it anyways." Yang then spoke up, "Wait you said she's your sister?" Weiss nodded. "Oh! I think I've seen her on TV a couple times. Isn't she a specialist for the Atlas military?" "Yes, that is correct." "I don't see what the problem is with her then" Blake said. "Me and Winter... when we were younger, we...had what you would call a fallout." "But what happened to you two?" Ruby asked. "Me and Winter used to be close sisters, she would look out for me and I would always help her in anyway that I could. But one day, the day she pushed me away for good; I was confused and hurt on why she pushed me away so suddenly. I later found out that my father had chosen me to be heiress to the SDC. My guess is that Winter was angry that father had chosen me. Since then, we haven't said a word to each other. I haven't even seen her since that day..." The team was in tears hearing Weiss' sad story. "Oh god Weiss, I'm so sorry that happened to you." Ruby cried into her shoulder. Weiss rubbed circles around her back. "It's okay guys, I'll...see what she wants, but I'll only text her; I don't think I'm ready to hear her voice after so long." Ruby lifted herself from Weiss' shoulder as Weiss picked up her scroll and saw that there was a message:

Winter: Hello sister...I know it's been a while, but can we please talk. I get if you don't want to speak with me, but if you do come to the beach house where you and mother would always go to. I'll be waiting there.

Weiss took a deep breath before she texted back:

You: Yes sister, I'll be there, I'm actually almost there, so I'll see you in a couple minutes.

Weiss hit send as she got a message back:

Winter: That's good to hear...we have much to talk about.

Again Weiss was nervous, but she more nervous then when she met Taiyang and Qrow. Soon the ship landed and the team stepped out, Weiss hiding behind them. Then she heard the front door open, she hid behind Yang as she heard a voice she hasn't heard for so long, "Who are you? What are you doing here? This is Schnee property you know." She said in a somewhat monotone voice with a hint of anger in it. Ruby spoke up, "Uh, you must be Winter, we're all Weiss' teammates, I'm Ruby Rose, leader of team RWBY, this here is my sister Yang Xiao Long and Blake Belladonna." "Oh, I apologize, but where is my sister, she said she would meet me here." "She's right here." She felt Yang step out out the way as she slowly looked to see the sister she hasn't seen in years. "Weiss...a pleasure to see you again after all this time." Weiss took notice of how her sister had changed over the years. She had gained more feminine features to her body and she was in her Atlas specialist uniform. Winter also took in her younger sister as she was surprised also but didn't show it. Her younger sister had grown up so much, why did she push her away? "I-It's good to s-s-see you too Winter." Winter frowned, was Weiss really that afraid to see her again? Maybe all because of that day that Weiss was acting like this. Winter walked over to her sister and Weiss took a small step back, what was she going to do? Weiss was breaking down inside and soon she had broken down on the outside. She felt her sisters arms wrap around her and pull her into a soft embrace. Confused by her sisters actions she looked up to meet her sisters eyes. "I'm sorry Weiss, I should have been there for you..." Weiss heard those words and started to cry, later sobbing as she tightly hugged her sister while crying on her shoulder. "I m-m-missed you big s-sister." "I miss you too..." Winter shed a tear as the two sisters stayed like that for a couple minutes, the rest of team RWBY watching, shedding tears at the sight. The two pulled away as Winter wiped her sisters tears off her face. "Now now sister, you shouldn't be acting so sad at a time like this. We should be having some fun. Lets head inside, I want to get to know more about your teammates." Blake had revealed to Winter that she was a faunus, Winter was in shock at first hearing Blake was a former White Fang member but she could care less because she heard how much Blake wanted to make things right with Weiss Weiss; she definitely was a great friend and teammate, all of them were in Winters' eyes. The team was laughing having a good time as they got to know more about the older Schnee while dying of laughter hearing embarrassing stories about Weiss when she was younger. The younger Schnees' face red in embarrassment as the others laughed at her dismay. As soon as the storytelling was over, Ruby and Weiss decided it was time to tell Winter about them. Winter was in shock to say the least, her sister had a girlfriend? She had gotten someone before her, so it was only natural that she was a teeny bit jealous. Winter expressed how happy she was for them but warned Ruby if she ever hurt Weiss, then no one would protect her from what was to come. "Winter, I promise that I would NEVER ever hurt Weiss." Ruby looked to Weiss and smiled, Weiss smiling back. The two leaned in giving a short kiss before holding hands. Winter coughing got their attention, "While I support your relationship, please do not let me catch you being...intimate with each other." Winter had a small blush on her cheeks as Weiss and Rubys' faces were as red as Rubys' cape. "Hahaha! Man you are funny, even more funny than snowflake over here!" Yang said patting Winters back. "Well, someone has to be the joker in the family..." As the two older sisters talked, Blake listening in, Weiss and Ruby turned to talk to each other. "Well, that went better than expected, wouldn't you say Weiss?" "Yes...it certainly did, thank you Ruby." "No problem snowflake..." Ruby put her head on Weiss' shoulder as Weiss pulled her close. Definitely getting better at this relationship thing...
