"AUNTIE YANG!" I shouted as I hugged her, "Hey there kiddo." Auntie said as she scratched behind my cat ears, "Are Blake and Dan here yet? Mama slept in and by time Daddy got her up I was already late." I said, "Yeah they're here, also you got a new classmate , his name is Luke." She said as we walked into the playroom only to find a huge boxing ring. "Oh come on you can do better than that can't ya?" A boy said as he punched Blake. "BLAKE!" I shouted as I ran over to my friend while the boy put a candy bone in his mouth and put on a robe. "Blake are you alright?!" I asked, "I see lots of yummy fishies." He said, "THAT WAS MEAN! YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO HIT HIM!" I yelled at the boy, he just turned around to face me.

"So you must be Sky." He said as he spat out his bone, "I heard that you're the "queen of daycare", but let's get something straight here princess you can play queen all you want, but remember I Luke Dark am the king of the ring!" He said arrogantly as he pushed me, "Are you just gonna take that Sky?" Auntie said, "No way!" I said angrily, "Great let's go get you changed!" She said as she dragged me away.

I returned in a white sleeveless shirt, red shorts, and a white and red ribbon. "Alright you two I want a good clean fight! No hair pulling, name calling, slapping, or general ickeyness!" Dan said, he was dressed like a referee, suddenly someone rang a bell and Luke began punching me. Auntie gave us soft boxing gloves so we couldn't hurt each other... much, but it still hurt when he hit me.

By the end of the day we had fought six times and I lost each fight. I was lying in the ring alone covered in sweat, defeat, and more than a little marker from when I was coloring with Blake and Dan. "Shame, you had some real potential kid." Auntie Ruby said in a weird voice, "Auntie Ruby? What are you doing here, and why are you dressed like that?" I asked, "Oh I'm here to get you. Your parents are on a date, so I'm watching you for them. And as for the outfit I kinda mixed my laundry and now I need new clothes. BUT ENOUGH ABOUT THAT! I'm gonna make you the best fighter this side of daycare." She said, "Ok but how?" I asked, "Training montage!" She said as she pressed play on her scroll starting the music.

"OK SKY GO!" Auntie shouted as I ran up stairs.

"HIT IT HIT THE FISH!" Auntie said as I punched a large catfish that was hanging from the ceiling. 

"Ok Sky you need to be fast. So I want you to catch Zwei." Auntie said, "Ok, but Zwei loves me so how will I get faster?" I asked, "Zwei let's go to the vet." She said, suddenly Zwei sprinted away, "GO!" She shouted.

After a week of training I finally was able to catch Zwei, "You're ready kid." Auntie said as I jumped up after sprinting to the top of the stairs.

Friday

"ALRIGHT FOLKS IT'S THE REMATCH OF THE WEEK! IN THE LEFT CORNER WE HAVE LUKE THE DOMINATOR DARK! AND IN THE RIGHT CORNER WE HAVE THE LITTLE ROOKIE HERSELF SKY FALL!" Auntie Yang announced, "Ya know she hasn't been seen at daycare since Monday where she faced defeat at the hands of Luke not once but six times!" She said, "Makes me wonder where she's been this whole time and what she's been doing." Blake said, "Alright kid he's gonna come at ya guns blazing, but you're faster than he is so just dodge and wait for an opening." Auntie Ruby said as she rubbed my shoulders, "GO GET EM'!" She said as Luke and I squared off, "Just take your beating and be done with it." Luke said, "You first." I said as the bell rang starting the fight. Luke beat me until the end of the round. "Alright kid you're doen' fine, a bit of a rough start sure, but you can win!" Auntie Ruby said, "Sky sweetie what's going on here?!" Mama asked as Dan squirted a juice box into my mouth, "I gotta win Mama." I said, "Sky sweetie don't fight!" She said, "I gotta Mama." I said as I spat out the juice into a bucket, "I hate apple juice." I said as I staggered back out to the ring.

"ROUND TWO!" Auntie Lucinda said as she walked across the ring with a sign, "NO SKY DON'T FIGHT!" Mama said as the bell rang, I blocked Luke's punches, "GIVE UP KITTY! I'M THE BEST!" Luke shouted, 'My turn!' I thought as I started punching Luke, "IT LOOKS LIKE THE LITTLE ROOKIE HAS STARTED HER COME BACK! THIS COULD BE IT FOLKS THE RESULTS OF A WEEK OF TRAINING!" Auntie Yang announced.

We went round after round. I was gaining ground making Luke doubt himself. "THIS IS IT THE FINAL ROUND! IT'S STILL ANYONE'S FIGHT! WILL THE CHAMP CONTINUE HIS WINNING STREAK OR WILL THE LITTLE ROOKIE TAKE THE VICTORY?" Auntie Yang said as the fight began, "GO GET EM' SWEETIE!" Daddy shouted as Luke and I both threw a punch.

"I lost. After all my training I still lost!" I said as Daddy buckled me into my car seat, "Sky sweetie you did your best, and besides winning's not everything. It's nice sure, but having fun with friends and loved ones, that's what life's really about." Daddy said, "BUT I REALLY WANTED TO WIN!" I said, "Well I thought you did great even though I don't like you fighting." Mama said.
