As Team RWBY set out on their mission to stop Dark RWBY, Ruby used the amulet given to her by Ozpin to track Ozma's Staff. Eventually, it led them to Mountain Glenn.

Ruby: It looks like Dark RWBY is in Mountain Glenn. 

Yang: Is it just me or is there more Grimm than the last time we were at this place. 

Blake: Looks like the Grimm flooded this place since the attack. 

Weiss: This is going to make our search much more difficult. Even with the amulet pointing us in the right direction, those Grimm aren't going to make it difficult for us. 

As Weiss said that, Ruby grabbed the amulet and aimed it around multiple areas of Mountain Glenn. When the amulet glowed brightly when it was aimed at a building in the north end of the city. Ruby: Looks like the Staff is over there in that building. 

Yang: And it just happens to be crawling with Grimm. 

Weiss: We need a way to divert the Grimm away. 

Weiss began to survey the area. She quickly noticed a crane holding on to a crate at the opposite side of the building. 

Weiss: Ruby. Maybe you can shoot the rope off that crane. The noise from the crash should draw them away. 

Ruby: Good idea.

Ruby takes aim with Crescent Rose's Sniper Mode. When she aims over the rope holding the crate, Ruby takes a deep breath and fires it. The Dust powered round tears through the rope, causing the crate to crash onto the ground. The resulting noise from the crash cause the Grimm near the building to run towards the crane. Wasting no time, Team RWBY rushes to the to building and managed to get inside before more Grimm arrived. 

Yang: Huh. This place doesn't look that bad compared to the rest of Mountain Glenn.

Blake: You'd think this place wasn't hit when the Grimm overran this place.

As Team RWBY continued to follow the amulet's directions, they began to wonder what Dark RWBY was planning here. 

Weiss: Mountain Glenn seems like the last place they'd want to search. 

Ruby: I mean Torchwick and the White Fang were using this place for their plans. 

Weiss: To funnel Grimm into the city. But...that doesn't make sense. 

Yang: Really? You're telling me that a team of evil versions of us from different universes using an abandoned town full of Grimm for their plans doesn't make sense?

Weiss: Well....when you put it like that.....I suppose you have a point.

As the rest of Team RWBY were discussing what Dark RWBY were planning. As for Ruby herself, she tried to put herself in the shoes of Grimm Ruby. 

Blake: Maybe they're looking for something Torchwick and the White Fang might've left behind. 

Weiss: Hhm...they were in a hurry when they realized we were on to them.

Ruby: They were robbing Dust Shops for their plan. Maybe there's some Dust Crates left behind. 

Weiss: But that still doesn't explain what they would need the Dust for? The Dust by itself wouldn't be too useful for them.....

Ruby: Whatever they're planning, it won't be good for Remnant. 

With that, Team RWBY pressed forward in their search for Dark RWBY. Meanwhile, Cinder Fall along with Emerald Sustrai and Mercury Black were navigating through the building in search for Grimm Ruby. 

Mercury: So what exactly is our plan for Ruby's....evil twin?

Cinder: We take her down and have her sent to Salem. She will take care of the rest.

Mercury: I feel like we should've taken some of Torchwick's guys or even a few White Fang soldiers with us. Something clearly seemed off about that....Ruby chick.

Emerald: If we get spotted with either White Fang or thugs from Torchwick's gang, then the entire plan goes to hell. 

Cinder: One little red won't be a problem for us. 

With that, Cinder along with Emerald and Mercury continued their search for Grimm Ruby. It wasn't long before they came found Dark Ruby standing over some crates. Yang quickly opened the crates revealing a whole shipment of Dust.

Sun Dragon Yang: That's a lot of Dust. That could fetch a pretty penny on the black market. 

Commander Weiss: Do you think of anything other than your greed, Xiao Long? 

Sun Dragon Yang: Easy for you to say, rich girl. I intend to get a jumpstart on my gang. 

Supreme Leader Blake: Be careful that you don't over extend yourself, Xiao Long. The eyes of the White Fang are always vigilant. 

Sun Dragon Yang: Cut the self righteous Faunus supremacy bullshit, kitty. I swear my Blake wasn't as self righteous as you. 

Supreme Leader Blake: Most likely due to the fact that the Blake from your world was most likely your personal whore. 

Sun Dragon Yang: At least she knew how to have a good time. 

Grimm Ruby: Tsk tsk tsk, teammates. There's no need to fight. Once everything falls into place, we'll all have what we want. Now let's get this Dust to our humble abode. But first....

Grimm Ruby takes aim of Crescent Rose and fires a shot towards Cinder. As Cinder, Emerald and Mercury got out of cover, the rest of Dark RWBY prepared their weapons while Grimm Ruby chuckled. 

Grimm Ruby: Oh you have just the best timing!

Cinder: I suggest you come with us quietly. 

Grimm Ruby: It is so tempting to just kill you here an now! How satisfying would it be if I got to kill you once more, Cinder!

As a battle was about to break out the room, Team RWBY burst into the room. In that moment, a great battle was about to begin.
