A/N: here's chapter 5 for ya guys 

Professor Goodwitch's class 

"And that concludes today lecture, now would anybody like to have a match today"? Professor Goodwitch asked as Cardin's hand shot straight up."Mr Winchester and who would you like to face"? Cardin pointed straight at Ryu and said."I challenge Wolf boy". Ryu just chuckled as he replied."Some people never learn". Ryu stood up and left to get ready for his fight with Cardin. 

Arena Stands 

"I sure hope Ryu knows what he's getting in to". Jaune said as Cedric just chuckled as he replied."I'd be more worried about Cardin if I were you Jaune but then I dunno why you'd worry about that moron". Niamh and Millie nodded as Blake looked at Cedric and asked."Does Ryu have a way to counter Cardin's physical strength"? Niamh nodded as she replied."Ryu's fighting style perfectly counters who people like Cardin plus his semblance isn't too bad either". Cedric quickly replied."You're just mad because you've never beaten Ryu in a fight". Niamh gave Cedric a glare as she retorted."Wolfy has a really annoying semblance". Pyrrha looked confused as she asked."What does Ryu's semblance do"? It was Millie who answered this time."Ryu's semblance allows his to precisely hit whatever he wants with his weapons. The only way to stop it is to block it or dodge Ryu's attack but that's easier said than done considering how fast Ryu is". Pyrrha nodded as both Ryu and Cardin entered the arena. 

In the Arena 

Cardin walked into the arena with his mace over one shoulder and a cocky smirk on his face. Ryu walked into the arena with his trusty Wakizashi's strapped to his hips."Now its an even playing field". Cardin said as he slammed his mace into the ground try to strike fear into Ryu however the grey wolf faunus just laughed as he replied."Firstly are you trying to scare me? Secondly you'll never be on an even playing field with me". Ryu stared at Cardin with a piercing stare as he gripped his swords as Professor Goodwitch then announced the start of the match which caused Cardin to swing his mace down towards Ryu, who just effortlessly dodged the attack and unsheathed his Wakizashi's and rushed down the bully. 

Ryu dodged a wild mace swing and proceeded to slash at Cardin twice, with the right sword slashing in a vertical manner and the left sword slashing in a horizontal manner. The two attacks connected as Cardin lost some aura however Ryu was not done as he moved faster than Cardin could register and jumped into the air and slashed at Cardin's face and then ducked another wild swing and then stabbed Cardin in the side twice, once on the right side and once on the left side. Cardin's aura had hit the yellow but Ryu wasn't done with his onslaught as he proceeded to stab Cardin in the left leg and slash at Cardin's gut, Ryu then finished it with powerful roundhouse kick to the face knocking Cardin out cold."Ryu Okami is the winner of this math". Ryu chuckled to himself as he looked at Cardin over his shoulder and said."Well you certainly are pathetic aren't you". Ryu then walked out of the arena. 

In the Stands 

"Wow". Was all Jaune said with a shocked expression on his face, as did the rest of Team JNRP and Team RWBY while Cedric replied."Yep, Ryu is a monster on the battlefield". Pyrrha nodded somewhat asked."Well he certainly is fast but it must put a strain on his stamina"?  Niamh just chuckled why she replied."Nope, Ryu is a wolf faunus so he also has the stamina of a normal wolf so he can keep fighting at that speed for a while". Pyrrha's eyes shot wide open as she stared at Niamh with her mouth wide open."By the way where did Blake go"? Millie questioned as everyone saw that Blake was no longer with the group. 

With Ryu 

Ryu was walking through the courtyard, as he casually looked at his surroundings noting that there wasn't that many people around. However a smirk suddenly crossed his face as he spoke out loud."I know your there Blake". A quiet shriek was only heard by Ryu as Blake appeared from behind a tree."How'd you know I was there"? Blake asked as Ryu responded."I'd recognise the scent of a cat anywhere". The smirk hadn't left Ryu's face while Blake just went wide eyed as she replied."Can you please not tell anyone else"? Ryu nodded his head as he asked."Why hide those cute cat ears beneath that bow"? Blake's blush got worse as she replied. "I just want people to accept me for who I am not what I am". Ryu nodded as he understood where Blake was coming from, however a small chuckled emanated from the wolf faunus as Blake looked at him in confusion but Ryu spoke up to clarify."Sorry I just find it funny how different we approach this sort of acceptance". 

"And do you approach it then"? Blake asked with Ryu rapidly responding."When I was younger I used to get into multiple fights everyday because I was just so angry at what humans would say about us but a incident changed my view point". Ryu turned his attention to the sky as he shook his head however Blake could see the pain in his eyes and refused to push the matter any further."I'll talk to you later Ryu since I should get back to my dorm so my team aren't worried about me". Just as Blake turned around Ryu spoke."Thank you". Blake looked confused so she asked."Why are you thanking me"?"Because you didn't push me on what caused me to change my view". Blake just gave Ryu a small smile as she replied."I can see that the memory still pains you so its best not to push my luck". Ryu nodded as he asked."You wanna hang out tomorrow"? Blake's blush came back as she just nodded her head and ran back to her teams dorm.
