Freezing Point
(Cat Burglar)
Teams RWBY and TWIL were sitting in RWBY'S dorm, watching TV... more or less. The only ones really watching were Blake and Lance. Wendi was playing chess with herself, Taro was doing a Sudoku puzzle, even though he was terrible at them.
Taro: "Hey!"
Shut up. Get back to your puzzle. Anyways, where was I? Oh yeah. Taro was doing a sudoku puzzle, Ruby was just stareing at her feet, Weiss and Ice were too infatuated with the other to notice the TV, and Yang... was just kinda there. Suddenly, a news report from Lisa Lavender came on the TV.
Lisa: "Reports of a cat burglar being on the prowl in Vale have flooded the police department this week. Whether these claims are legitimate or merely a yarn, citizens are encouraged to stay indoors."
Yang turned off the TV as everyone in the room besides Lance slowly turned and looked at Blake, her being a cat faunus and all. She looked at them before looking behind her, thinking there was something they were looking at. After seeing that nothing was there, she looked back at them.
Blake: "Seriously, guys?"
She jumped off the couch, tapping her foot angrily.
Blake: "Seriously? You're gonna call me a cat burglar just because I'm part cat? That's real mature."
Lance sat up from where he was. Taro pointed to him.
Taro: "Lance doesn't!"
Blake: "I know, and that's one reason I love him."
Blake began walking towards the door, grabbing a scroll and a cookie.
Blake: "You know, I have half a mind to report you guys to Glynda. What you're doing is profiling."
As she turned again, she grabbed the chessboard. Wendi just looked on in confusion.
Blake: "You all DISGUST me."
Blake turned one last time, grabbing a potted plant next to the doorway. Wendi looked on with pure white eyes.
Wendi: "But I wasn't done with that..."
Everyone remaining in that room was left stareing at each other. Lance sat where Blake was sitting, next to Ice. Ice crossed his arms.
Ice: "She seriously couldn't have made it any more obvious, could she?"
Taro shook his head.
Taro: "Nope."
Everyone else had a confused look on their faces.
Ice: "Seriously!? Did you guys not hear the stuff leaving the table!?"
Just as Ice finished his sentence, Blake came dashing back into the room without her bow, revealing her cat ears. She jumped over the back of the couch, swiping something from Ice's pocket and Lance, who released a piece of paper as he was dragged out of the room. The door slammed shut as Ice felt his back pocket. When he realized what Blake took, he turned Super Saiyan.
Ice: "Oh NO SHE DIDN'T! BLAKE!! GET BACK HERE WITH MY CAR KEYS!"
Ice rocketed out the door as the sound of the General Lee's engine started. Taro picked up the piece of paper Lance had dropped, reading it. When he stopped, he was rolling his eyes.
Ruby: "What does it say?"
Taro turned the paper around, revealing the words "TELL MY STORY!" scribbled in red colored pencil. After seeing it, Weiss shrugged.
Taro: "How long has he had this?"
Beats me.
Taro: "What do you mean 'beats me'!? You wrote it!"
Don't look at me! I don't know when Lance wrote that!
Weiss: "Should we be worried about him? He's just... talking to himself."
Ruby: "Eh. That just happens from time to time. It's best to just let him do his thing."
Lisa: "BREAKING NEWS! Police have engaged the alleged cat burglar in a high speed chase. The suspect is fleeing in an orange muscle car with what appears to be a cartoonishly large amount of stolen goods falling from the trunk. Witnesses have also described a golden haired flying young boy chasing after the burglar and her accomplice."
Ice :(on TV) "BLAKE! GIMME BACK MY CAR!"
Lisa: "What will they think of next? Back to you, Cyril."
(Ice skating)
As Ice and Weiss skated around on a sheet of ice, the rest of Team RWBY and Taro are all frozen in what was supposed to be a pool. Poor Taro got the worst of it. He was in the middle of a cannonball when Ice froze the pool. Now he's stuck under there until it dethaws. Ice and Weiss gracefully came to a stop in the center while Yang, Blake and Ruby all sat, half frozen and very annoyed.
Yang: "So, this is the last time we invite them to the pool, right?"
Blake/Ruby: "Yup!"
Taro: "Why?..."
(Costume Change)
As the teams returned from a day of Grimm hunting, Taro examined his outfit. It was trashed. Holes riddled every inch of it. Burns from Weiss' rapier and slashes from Grimm claws plastered the jacket and pants. Taro walked into Team TWIL's dorm alone while the others were being social.
Taro: "Aw man. My outfit's caput! I've had that since-"
Without warning, a glowing blue transparent version of Taro's brother, the real Taro, appeared next to him.
OG Taro: "Sup, little bro?"
Taro: "Taro! It's been a while!"
OG Taro: "Sure has, little man. Shame about your outfit.
Taro: "Yeah, I know. Worst part is I don't have any backups."
OG Taro: "I think I may be able to help."
OG Taro clapped his hands and a Heavenly light appeared over Taro's dresser. Taro looked inside and he saw TONS of different outfits.
Taro: "Woah! Thanks bro! You're the best!"
OG Taro: "Don't mention it broham. It's what big brothers do."
Taro: "One question though: where did all of these clothes come from?"
OG Taro: "Does it really matter now? They're yours!"
Taro: "I guess. Alright. I'll try one on."
Taro grabbed a random outfit and went into the closet to change. When he came back out, he had a strange alien costume on. Something ancient in design and materials.
OG Taro: "Well, what do you think?"
Taro tried pulling the strange garb away from his neck.
Taro: "Who designed this: the blind!?"
OG Taro: "No, not at all! This is the armor worn by our ancestors thousands of years ago."
Taro: "And clearly, our ancestors didn't have any sense of good design. I mean, what are these shoulder things!?
OG Taro: "Yeah, you're kinda right. Alright, we got tons more outfits."
Taro took off the armor and grabbed another outfit from the dresser and stepped into the closet again. When he emerged, he had on something more practical, but it practically drew a bullseye on him if he wore it just from the color.
OG Taro: "So? What about this one?"
Taro: "Already like it better. One concern: does it come in any other colors?"
OG Taro: "Unfortunately, no. One of the greatest warriors of all time wore this gi, but he only had it in orange."
Taro: "Aw man. That's a shame. I really like this one."
Taro took off the gi, hanging it up in his closet for later. He then grabbed another outfit and put it on. When he exited the closet, he looked more practical, yet... dumber.
Taro: "This is more practical, yet it reeks of failure."
OG Taro: "Yeah, I kinda got the same feeling from it. Don't know why."
Just then, Jaune walked by wearing a box held by string covering his... nether regions.
Jaune: "Guys! Have you seen my clothes!?"
Taro: "Well... that explains a lot. Well, clearly, I can't steal Jaune's clothes, so I guess I'm out of luck."
OG Taro: "Well, there is one more outfit in there."
OG Taro smiled a devilish grin.
(Later)
The members of Teams RWBY and TWIL were sitting in RWBY's dorm, doing assorted activities. Yang was asleep, Ruby was reading a comic book titled "Camp Camp", Ice was creating snowflakes for Weiss, who was leaning on his shoulder. Lance was watching TV with Blake sleeping on his belly and Wendi was programming a line of code for a new android, being clever as a "fox"... hint hint. Anyways, the door slammed open, waking up Yang and Blake, the latter sticking to the ceiling in fear. Everyone looked up to see what caused the door to open. As soon as they did, they all began to snicker.
Ruby: "What... are you wearing!?"
Everyone began to laugh at Taro, who was wearing one of Ruby's dresses with Weiss' hair clip and boots, Blake's bow and Yang's scarf. His face turned red as a tomato as everyone in the room began to laugh as loud as they could. OG Taro flew through the wall.
OG Taro: "Well, it's better than nothing, right?"
Taro: "You are SO lucky you're already dead."
