hi everyone! welcome to another update. this one and the next will be for cover themes, so lock in for the essays! 😁 just kidding. this cover theme, for lali / rocklcnds, is pretty straightforward.

          the three fonts i used for this cover theme were opti excelsior script (available for free online); im fell dw (also available for free online); and my trusty futura (system font.) i chose excelsior script because it's very similar to the font used for posters of sofia coppola's priscilla—star once again late to the trend—and im fell because it's the font used for taylor swift's folklore and evermore. it's also just a very versatile font in general.

on to the highlights: first up, NOW THAT WE DON'T TALK. ironically, i used stills of all too well: the short film for this cover. i'm placing focus on this cover because i used the sideways-text characteristic of the priscilla poster. i didn't want to go overboard with the sideways stuff so only one of the covers in this theme are placed like that.

IVY: logan lerman. enough said.

and then, GOOD DAYS, which is my favourite of these covers. i was having a hard time trying to figure out what i wanted to do for this cover, and i was thinking about jason grace, and how i frequently joke about him being so beautiful you'd put a picture in a locket of him before going to war. so that's what i did 🤣 i'm really glad with how it turned out.

lali, i hope you like these! for your cover theme, i'm also happy to make you some matching icons and backgrounds if you'd like your entire account to match (in that instance, please credit me in your book descriptions and in your bio.) during the 3 months that you are required to use this theme, i will make up to 3 additional covers if you write any additional fics during that time. if you choose to keep the theme after 3 months, you can contact me anytime to make a cover in that same theme, even if the story is not yet published. (the difference is after the 3 months, it won't be a priority. but i will still try to get on it ASAP!)

for the icons / backgrounds, there's no minimum time you have to use them. you can change them out whenever 😅
