so after finishing house m.d. i have returned to one of my comfort shows, brooklyn nine-nine. (criminal minds is also one of my comfort shows but we're nearly to thomas gibson's departure in season 12 so my sister doesn't want to watch any more, as if... not watching will change the fact that thomas gibson left the show way back when? it's a bit funny but i support her). ANYWAYS! 😁 b99 has already lifted my hilson-deprived spirit, so here we are. welcome back, lori! here are your covers for IRIDESCENT and CLUELESS.

for IRIDESCENT i wanted to use some of the pre-existing resources for this show, so i based the cover off one of season 3's posters. if you look closely you can see your oc's faceclaim in the reflection of jake's glasses! there are two alt. versions of this cover, one with my attempt at an "iridescent" text effect. to what degree of success that effect has, that's up to you 😭 i tried and that's what matters!

for CLUELESS i went for thriller-type conventions, hence the scary sans serif font and shattered glass... and BLOOD. boo! i used john krasinski as jack ryan in the amazon series of the same name, since i thought that matched up well for the tone of the story. on a side note, star-lore 🌟 time, i really love jack ryan and other action hero series like him (for those who don't know, jack ryan is a character by tom clancy.) my personal favourites are the myron bolitar series by harlen coben, and the jack reacher series by lee child! i got into these through my dad and seriously recommend the reacher series on amazon. it's really, really good.

         reacher-rant over. lori, thank you for your patience in waiting for me to circle back to these covers! i hope you like them. i had a lot of fun making them, especially IRIDESCENT, because any excuse to look at the love of my life andy samberg, i'll take.
