i'm having like, a legendary run 🏃‍♂️ right now—i'm so so happy with virtually every cover i'm making which is super surprising (not to jinx myself), and this update is no exception. here's LAST MEMORIES by nana!

star-ytime 📕: in the first half of 2024 i was absolutely head over heels in love with my then-situationship who adored one piece. the manga and anime, at least; i don't know how he felt towards netflix's live-action adaption. but he had this chopper charm he always carried with him, which i used to think was super cute... now, not so much 😒 (i mean, chopper is still very cute, but blah blah, situationship, boys will be boys, cardigan by taylor swift, ya-da-ya-da.)

disgusting. may i never feel so strongly for a man again. returning to LAST MEMORIES: i had a few ideas for this story's cover that all kind of had the same foundation, as you can tell by the similarities between covers. cover i. features astronomical illustrations once more (see: AFTER THE FALL by athena) because... one piece... pirates... ships... navigation? idk 😭 it made sense to me at the time and looked visually satisfying as well.

covers ii. and iii. are variations of each other. i wanted something simple that featured your faceclaims, so that's pretty much what i did. 'nuff said (because what more could i possibly say haha?)
