i don't make harry potter covers very often let alone marauders-era ones, so this was a nice change of pace! this update is for lujain's regulus black fic, THE MOON WILL SING 🌙 i couldn't say no to a fic named after such an amazing the crane wives song. i also really loved timothée as laurie in little women (2019).

however as you can tell by the numerous alt. covers above, i had some trouble deciding which direction i wanted to go in for TMWS. all i could really decide on was that i wanted the cover to look like a painting; one of the many moving ones we see in the series. the main cover has vintage influences (see: the decorative frame / border) and the others are just experimentations in that same "painting-esque" vein.

i really like how these turned out. they were a nice departure from my usual covers, which are very intense (read: red ❤️‼️). i hope you like them, lu!
