i cannot believe that tomorrow is new year's eve. 2024 genuinely went by so quickly. i wasn't here much this year (comparatively to 2023, and 2022 especially) so i can't really do a graphics wrapped type thing. honestly after a while it all starts to blur together 😭 atp i know my photoshop workspace better than the back of my hand.

that's not true actually. i'm learning new stuff on photoshop every day. i only learned what a selective colour layer was this year. and even then i don't even really know what it is; just how to use it (barely).

enough of my yapping. ali, my love, here are your comic covers for the upcoming HEARTSICK. i've wanted to use scarlet witch for a long time so i'm glad i finally got the chance. i went for a more poster-y look for these graphics, using resources that reminded me of 1930s illustrations and ad campaigns. as we've discussed (as in... me and ali LOL) i find it really tricky sometimes to make covers for wally west fics since his resources (at least, the ones i like) are very limited. but HEARTSICK worked out really well 💖

i couldn't decide what shade of deep red / pink to use, so, like i have for pretty much all my covers thus far, i've included a few alternative versions so you can choose what colour palette you ultimately want.
