Pets: an introductional guide thingy
Please read this before you read any more of my "Pets" chapters. It's just a little guide to them all so you know who I'm talking about ;)
This will also be at the very beginning of the book, though it is the 37th written part.
Rosie
This is my one and only dog, Rosie! She is a sweet, happy girl who loves her people and hates grown men (we still don't know why XD). She ALWAYS wags her tail as HARD AS POSSIBLE and is just a lil wiggle pup ❤️
Snitch
This is the oldest cat in my house, but he's only a few years old. Snitch, or "Nitchy," got his name from stealing the chicken from our grill one day. He is an adorable, fat, black-and-white cat who loves to go in and outside. He's a loud purrer and loves belly rubs so much you can hear him from the other side of the room. Nitch is also an emotional support cat for pretty much my whole family. If someone starts crying over a lost Toothless figure, he's there to help you through it. Plus he always follows us on walks (using proper social distancing techniques by standing 6 feet behind us). He also LOVES DOGS. Ok only Rosie but STILL. She will nip at him and sleep by him and try to play with him, but only if he's in a bad mood will Snitch Mreaw, get up, and trot off.
S'mores
You can describe this cat in 4 words: I H A T E T H E W O R L D . S'mores is a super pretty tortoiseshell she-cat, and she actually gets along pretty well with the other cats. But when it comes to humans... she's complicated. S'mores will rub and rub and ruuuubb against us, but as soon as you touch her by your own will, you get the MEROWLOWLGRRRHISSSSSS. She's basically a moody teenager.
Threepaw Jack
This. Is. My. SON.
I have 218 pictures of my animals. I can guarantee you that over half of them contain this adorable cat: Jack, the BEST cat in the whole wide WORLD. He is not just adorable, no. He is also my anxiety cat, basically my medicine. He is also cuddly— mostly to me, occasionally my brother— and soft and silky and aDORABLE!!! His favorite toy is paper, with cardboard at a close second. This means I find a lot of drawings torn to pieces on the floor when I wake up (not anymore though, I take pictures of them and store them in my folders right away). I forgive him every time though, almost instantly. He has the cutest little meow and purrs so soft you have to have your ear up to him to hear it. I always know when he's coming, because of his stump of course. And, before you ask, no, I don't know how he lost his leg. He was a stray for the first half year of his life. I am glad he has it though— it is a PART OF HIM!! (Literals XD) (he limps with it and it's so cute aaahhhhh now I'm rambling—)
Thanks for listening to me talk about my animals! We used to have 2 more, if you can remember from my previous pets book, Bella the mackerel tabby cat and Dozer the Newfoundland mix dog. They were amazing pets, but it was just their time. Dozer died first, due to old age and his breathing/hip issues, and Bella died due to a cold, freezing winter storm. I loved them both, and I am glad to have known them ❤️
Now back to the happy stuff!
